Got one for my girlfriend - cost me £372.
Thing is - it's got 4GB of RAM, 500GB HDD and a i5-460m CPU.
Oh I forgot to mention the 1GB ATi HD5650 dedicated graphics card aswell.
I got it from Dell Outlet - it's unblemished and comes woth a standard Dell 12 Month warranty.
Of course she missed out on the brand new unboxing experience and she misses the nice Dell cloth like screen protector that Dell puts on at the facxtory and the nice shiny Dell drivers CD.

Also the probability that new one from here or outlet will fail is almost the same. Double digit % less for the fact that you might get some scratches (that your laptop will get anyway within a month) it is quite a good premium

With grumpyone and mada06 on this. We all benefitted from a recent glut of N5010's on the Dell Outlet site. Spanking brand new N5010 with i5 processor 1gb dedicated graphics for less money. Bought for daughter to replace faulty Toshiba and she's very happy with what is a nice looking lapppy with good spec that can handle games and soon to be used for video editing.

I think you have completely missed the point there, I believe the message was HIGH END i3. In other words, in the i3 series, this is only bettered by the i3-390m and i3-380m, making this laptop in possession of a high end i3 processor. Sheesh.
EDIT: There is also a 380m as well.

Can anyone tell me about the "Mars Black" colour? In the pictures I've seen it looks high gloss which would also mean loads of fingerprints etc.

It is a gloss black but doesn't mark that badly and any fingerprints clean off easily
