This is far too sweet. This price justifies its taste. I suppose they would have been mad to release this without the Budweiser name because it is so different and selective.

Not a fan of normal Bud but this stuff is really nice, easy to drink only lightly carbonated. I love it

Agree with this, don't really drink lager at all any more (just bitter) but this stuff is nice when you want something light. Hope it's still going come summer time as will be the perfect bbq drink.

Used to work for a brewer, sales of export strength lager are down apparently and everyone wants 'sessionable' lager at 4% like carling and stella 4. Gawd knows.

Not sure why they called it '66. (Yeah I know Route 66 but what's that got to do with 4% lager.) Not sure in fact why Budweiser or Stella for that matter have tried releasing a new weaker beer when their 5% brand is so popular and diluting their beer took something away from their traditional image.
Everything gets dumbed down eventually these days. :disappointed:

I've got no Home Bargains near me, but there again my local Co-op are clearing out 4 packs of the World Cup pint cans of 5% ABV Budweiser for £2.00, so that's what I'm drinking right now.

Saw these on offer in a couple of cash and carrys. They were clearing them for half price, were dated end of march. It is just a beer that hasn't really taken off in the 4% market so is likely to be discontinued...shame as it does taste rather nice!!
