And they have a Linux version of their download software (install process is a bit klunky though)

That's normal for digital photos. Most photo places send this size with digital photos, as they are squarer than film photos so a 6x4 would heavily crop them, chopping off heads etc..

anyone knows how to reduce the price to 1.33. mine is still 5+1.33

Thank you very much. I'm doing a photo scrapbook of my granddaughter to give to her when she is 18. Have quite a few to print, this has saved me a few quid. Heat added.

I did a similar offer from Lidl a while back - all the photos came back really dark and had to be chucked, personally if I still got prints made I would avoid them.

This is a great deal to check the quality of Lidl's printing service. For £1.33p it's worth a punt. I need to print out a 200 picture photo mosaic I made to stick on my bedroom wall- if the prints come back printed at a decent quality, then my huge photomosaic will have cost me £2.66p. ( I pray that Lidl print the file names on the back of the photo's, as most services do, or I'm **** trying to piece together my mosaic!)
Aldi prints were excellent last time i tried them, much better then photobox, snapfish and all the other online prints i have done before. If some poeple are reporting back less then favourable results for lidl, then personally i would go for aldi (unless aldi have since deteriorated in their quality or if you have already used 100 free prints with them). For £1.33 its worth a shot.
If i wanted 100 free prints with aldi, does anyone know what id have to do to appear to be a "new" customer again? Different name and email address or a whole new postal address?

I have used the free service for several companies more than once, I simply create a new (hotmail) email account, they like these for spam and think once they've got a new address, they're on to a winner. Never been a problem for me.

Finally got to grips with the ordering process. Strange that it doesn't default to the standard 6x4 format, so each photo has to be reset to it (unless I've missed the point as usual). Happy now though, 100 pics for £1.33 is a bargain. How the heck they will be delivered in the present weather chaos is another matter of course ;-) Thanks OP!

i struggled with this. my voucher code was not sent with a welcome email, and i could not find it anywhere on site. in the end after spending an hour downloading my 160 photoes i placed order hoping 100 prints would be added. but was not. on receipt they sent me confirmation of order and my welcome code. how can i enter the code in the basket once the order had been paid for and placed! explained to customer service who simply told me i had to enter it at checkout and wont do anything to help me despite several emails. it was impossible to enter at checkout as they would not send it me until checkout was completed. rather annoyed still!
