First of all, my children wont be having any make of 26" tv in their room. secondly, while you'll be sending your kids up to their room to watch their huge 26" tv, I'll be talking to mine about their day.

My son has a Techwood 32" in his bedroom, for his PS3, for over 3 years and not a single problem.
Hot from me.

Freeview tuner = £15/£20
That makes this TV about £105.
We recently bought a techwood 37" TV from Morrisons and it's fine, almost as good as a Sony one we bought for £600.
Just got back from Morrisons (Bredbury, Stockport) and they had 37" TV's for - £250:00. (A different brand)
This one is hot for the price, if you wanna waste money on a better brand, feel free.

Rather funny how people say get a better brand LCD when all the low end panels are made in just a few factories - so whether your getting a noname brand or a well known brand but low end model the odds are that the panel is the same. LCD's at the low end are one thing where it really can be best just to buy the cheapest.
Very hot deal.

Doesn't matter, you cannot possibly tell the difference between 720p and 1080p on a TV this size.

Have we really descended so low that someone who professes to take an interest in their children's lives is abused in such an offensive and unnecessary manner? Please don't assume that your values and/or that of your family are applicable, or should be applicable, to everyone.
No i meant the one i saw in chippenham , well i bought one anyway , let you know what its like
plugged a usb stick in played a film in avi file , plays alright , happy with it for £150 , good enough for the bedroom

Just managed to bag the last Techwood one on Newcastle (Stoke) - from reviews it was worth the hunt to get one over the Lowry and there was even a Lowry one behind the counter with 'faulty' on the box.
Cheers OP - I'd heat it if I could and they are still out there so this should not be expired yet.
There was also a 37" Lowry full HD for £250 and a Neon 32" LED for £335.

First impressions are good. Easy to setup and lots of inputs. Looks quite nice. Sound quality OK, picture quality not the best but will do. Leaps and bounds ahead of the 17" Analogue LCD TV its replaced though.

My JVC from 20+ years ago is still working. What's perhaps more surprising is the table it's on hasn't collapsed under the weight!
