Tried bubblegum - love it! There's little fudge-like pieces that literally taste like bubblegum but stop being chewy after a few seconds!

I got bubble gum, strawberry swirl and toffee fudge. They are all quite nice for the price. Similar to the asda 2 for £3 ice creams. Still not a patch on Haagen Dazs though!

Will have to go to my local now. The bubble gum sounds good to me aswell. Disappointed the lemon meringue isn't nice. Will have to select a few to test.

The bubble gum one is nice - the kids really like it. The lemon meringue is OK, not as lemony as I'd have thought it would be. Toffee fudge is next on my try list!

i really hated the cookies and cream one, tasted a bit cheap and not like the Haagen Daz one. More like vanilla with choc chips mixed in, but the bubblegum one intrigues me.

IIRC they have now switched to vegetable oils too but you are right, going for fully vegetarian (v symbol) is the safest if you have dietary restrictions
ps. the bubblegum flavour is really nice!

Urgh, you kidding me?! No magnum for me or Walls, thanks to all the promos I've only ever been eating Ben&Jerry's recently.
I love bubblegum flavoured ice cream! Reminds me of azzurro ice cream, the blue one with pink mixed in, brings back childhood memories!

Also Iceland's ones are fully Vegetarian with the V symbol unlike Walls or Magnum for example who mix pork fat during production!

Anyone know where i can get the bubblegum flavour and lemon ice flavour tubs from that are usually served by ice cream vans on a cone??. They are so smooth and lovely.

I tried the tiramasu one last week. It was okay but not as good as the Lidl one (although Lidl one is dearer).
Got the cookies one this afternoon. First taste: it's okay but the white ice cream bit is not that creamy.

Call me a snob, but I just cant eat cheap ice cream anymore. I wouid rather save my pennies until Haagen . Ben and Jerrys are on offer.

Me neither, it's usually such a let down! Though recently I bought a 250ml tub of Aldi speciality icecream (pralines & cream, I think it was called) on a whim, and it was delicious! I'd definitely say it's on par with hagen daz, I was so surprised! At £1.99 it's worth a taste or two

The bubble gum one is lovely - tastes like the icecream at the bottom of a screwball, which is pretty obvious i know as thatts the bit with the bubblegum in it :w00t:, but if you tasted it you'd know what i meant!
