To Celebrate Fairy's 50th anniversary, they have produced Fairy Liquid in 510ml old style bottles to commemorate it. Morrisons selling them for 59 pence limited to 3 per customer.
Considering 400ml bottles cost over a £1.00 good value
Should keep Blue Peter busy with new things to make for a few months anyway.....

Very sad when this classic design disappeared ....... it was unique and really stood out on the shelf. A bad move by the maker. But ....... I still have an early white version unused on my kitchen shelf.... must go and look at it.
As an aside has anybody else noticed how the size of the hole in the cap of current design, changes dependant on the price. I truly think there is a bigger hole in the special offer versions. Wonder why.

not looked, but reckon your right, colgate did it with toothpaste, they found it was the best way to increase sales, make the hole bigger, you run out quicker.

Ahhh....great old school. but if they are celebrating their 50th anniversary, would you want to sell these at 50p rather than 59p....

I had forgot about that...I think will save the bottles and have good old water fight..well may be in the summer!Lol
Yes agree about the size of stuff getting small, cut cost etc,you think you are getting a deal and half the time you are not! Also again beer cheap, but seem to be cutting the % of that as well.

Too many brands doing this these days. Product shrinkage is the new price rise. Pringles are now advertising "90 crisps" per tube as if you're supposed to be getting more.......hello the packs used to be 200g and are now 150/165g!! Beer companies are a big culprit too.

510ml for 59p, this WILL go up a lot
seeing as the usual bottle just got cut to 450ml from 500ml without a price reduction, cheeky monkeys
I agree with Taksim_Red, its all been the same for years really! I prefer the old green as that what was used when I was a kid, and swear the cheaper brands just use the same stuff watered down a bit

It's funny how Fairy has gone full cycle.
First it was "old" Fairy in the old style bottles like these. Then it was Fairy Excel, then they decided Fairy Excel wasn't good enough so we got Fairy Excel Plus then we got old style Fairy but in new style see through bottles and now we've finally gone full circle and are back with old Fairy in old bottles once again!
Does anyone else share that sneaky suspicion that it's all the same bl00dy stuff!? :-D

They are for a very limited time, no shelf space, just promo end space. Plenty in Newport, Isle of Wight store today.
Some of the smaller stores may have not received any stock, it was all allocated.

They should definately bring these bottles back. All the cheap liquids come in those clear bottles, if they brought fairy back in white, with the orginal smell etc it would sell better.

Unfortunately no red loop on bottle top, solid bit of plastic connecting the top together, I used to use them for carp fishing to detect bites as well.
