Hi all, long time watcher first time poster so thought I'd have a try. Was in Morrisons today and seen Famous Grouse whisky 1 litre on offer for £12, limited to 3 per customer, not sure if available online. Enjoy if its your thing
Its a damn site better whiskey than anything else available at this price......

Good deal. Rare to get Grouse at this price. £12 is cheaper then cash and carries so expect the retail trade guys to get in there tomorrow.

**** whisky, ok blend, ok if you have no taste buds... spend an extra few quid and get a nice malt.. not hot and not cold it is cheap but it is minging :thumbsup:

i have tastebuds and would say "i know my whisky" and i have no problems with this blend at all, infact i find it more paletable than some of the more smokey options such as the 10 and 15 year old bruichladdichs i have had.
it comes down to prefrence of what people like

ps congrats on your 1st post this is going to get hot - best available is about £14 for branded whiskey and its not nice stuff like this (ps dont start banging on about malts we are taking about blended whiskey)
strange as Bowmore and Laphroaig are both Islay malts - peaty flavours

got me a bottle today...just the stuff for drinking neat/iced, hot toddy (i have a cold) and splodged in a nice brew, or anight cap to finish me off. :thumbsup:
