There was no difference in size..I buy other supermarket ones at roughly 60p each regulary...49p for 3 is surely bargain :w00t:

There is nothing new about this deal (items change each month) but they are excellent deals. The 49p grapes compare very favourably with similar from Tesco for almost £2. I have found some of the Aldi fresh stuff seems to have a fairly short shelf life though, based on recent experience with tomatoes and nectarines which only lasted a few days.

The bananas at 49p a kilo and new potatos 1.5 kilos for 49p are fantastic value, this is probably the best offer ALDI have ever had. It is interesting talking to the staff who say ALDI are trying to convince the average Tesco shopper that it is safe to visit an ALDI and the food is fit to eat.

Lol!
I'd agree that some aldi products are crap, especially the over flavoured cheapo crisps. However, this is true of all supermarkets. Most of the products are now of 'mid' quality but without the price to match.
Now we shop at aldi and waitrose. Get the essentials from aldi, the 'nice' things from waitrose :P
PS the peppers are lovely, bought 5 packs and the freezer is now home made mexican readymeal frenzy :P

ooo Wonder what will be on offer next week when it changes??? Hope its something yummy as always. We are really lucky our Aldi sell out on a daily basis so everything is fresh every day. Rubbish if u want fruit late in day but if your an early bird your ok.

The fruit and veg from Aldi is great and just the same as anything you pay twice/ if not more for at the other supermarkets.
People say some daft things....fruit and veg are all grown the same u know...then just distributed to these differant shops, so if at one place u can get it for alot less than somewhere else thats  IMO.

Popped in to my local store yesterday, 1st August, still on offer. Grapes are delicious and so worth 49p, would be winning to pay up to £1.50 for the sweetness. The bananas are good aswell, cheaper than your Tescos and your Asdas and Sainsburys, Peppers, some packs are small, some are medium size, but still at 49p its a smashing price, you just can't go wrong!
