Just picked up some of these folding camping chairs from my local store (chorley) for £2.99. Yellow SEL on shelf showed £5.98 down to £2.99.
A quick check online shows the same chairs for £4.41 so not sure if store specific.

absolute leg end of a post, bought 5 yesterday from the Chorley store there were only a few left in stock there but you never know they may have restocked them!!!

I got 2 of these from the Wellingborough store yesterday, shelf label said either £4.49 or £4.99 (can't remember which) but went through the till at £2.99.

Online sold as two for £11.96 so will probably only be available in the major Tescos.
Wish this offer also applied to the 5 Ways store in Birmingham, but I checked and it doesn't! :-(

My £5 one from 2001 still works. They only break if your too lazy to sit in them slowly or your not careful when folding/unfolding. Like most things, treat it with a bit of care and it will last longer.
At £3 though you may aswell buy 2 just in case :wink:

we brought some when full pricce, not snapped n im a big lady. taken them to the splash park several times and out to the seaside yesterday still going strong. no compalints and i paid full price.

This is what I don't like about stuff we buy nowadays. They are badly made and we end up using twice and they have to be dumped. They all end up clogging the environment.
I bought my son three pairs of shoes - none of them lasted more than half a year!
I hope someone would do something about quality control. In the end, this earth where we are living in suffers!;-)

2.99 in Tesco Colney Hatch, picked one up on Sunday.
As a group have bought 6-8 of these in the past and used on 3 camping trips plus park use.
Only one broken so far.
