My partner made the same mistake you did!

Not the only one! Think there are quite a few going solo and prowling the stores for this deal. Not sure I'll manage both cheesecakes though.

It's not a deal but I do recommend the M and S pepper sauce to go with the steak and chips, at £1.99 not cheap but soooo tasty.... I know I'm falling into M and S trap by buying full price extra stuff to go with these deals!

Thanks OP, always useful to have the list of what's in the deal. Tonight we had the steaks, picked 2 lean ones and did them in a pan for about 1 minute each side..lovely, they are the "thin" cut so even if you wanted well done don't do them for much more than a couple of minutes each side  Very nice with the thick cut chips and a glass of the red, followed by the apple pie.. Love this offer:-D
Incidentally, I wonder how many people buy the whole rotisserie chicken and think that it's already cooked:whistling:
Looking forward to tomorrow, haddock mornay with ceasar veg and banoffee pie :-D

Always love these deals - although I've noticed you can save anywhere between a £1 and £12 depending on what combination of products you go for. It's been 3 weeks since the last one and I for one have missed it !
Just looking at some of the actual prices of the chickens - £8 odd was order of the day in my store. The packets of steak looked expensive but some of them were only £4 odd.
I know the wine gives you a £5.99 "drink" but personally I prefer 2 bottles of the Presse (twin pack is £2.99) although I know I don't maximise the savings this way.
If you are "canny" you can come away with products priced at £22 odd for £10 if you "maximise" your choice. I prefer to just save £5 to £6 in the hope that M and S will carry on running this every other week.

Just loaded up on my first M&S dine meal - can't go wrong.
2 Steaks, chips, banoffee cheesecake and a bottle of red - that's Saturday sorted!

As a change go to Wetherspoons on Tuesdays and have a mixed grill or a 10oz steak , for example, with a beer for £6.50 each., so for £13 you can Dine out for 2 and for £3 more you can save the washing up, sorting out the recyclables, gas and electricity and the cooking.

Or for just £7.38 you can go to mc donalds and also save on washing up....
Wetherspoons food is not in the same league as what you would buy from M&S
Better off spending the extra £3 you talk of to buy the wife some cheap flowers so that she feels the need to be good to you and wash up and let you put your feet up.. IMO

Fantastic deals these but I do wish they would package the mains seperately! My O/H only eats chicken and fish so I can't get the steak as it will be two together, would save a few arguments when you both want something different.
Still, I could try and pass it off as a blackened chicken portion?! LOL - just kidding.
