Point of interest.
Google GAS tumble driers.
Never heard of 'em till recently but apparantly well worth the extra.

here's a pricerunner link - sort by price and scroll down to the £110 zanussi. Technically i told you wrong with the £110; i actually paid £128 plus a pound for delivery. Reason why i said £110 is i remember pricerunner coming up with that figure.
yeah, there are bargains to be had on kitchen appliances, they're delivering my washer this sunday infact (£70). BUT not for tumble dryers from what i've seen. don't use their 'store price' that appears on the auctions details, check it out for yourself on pricerunner and you'll find the savings are very small considering they are damaged goods.
i suppose this might be good if you are loading it up before going to bed and your bedrooms in the vacinity - ie, it won't keep awake light sleepers. delay it a few hours and you'll be sock-on? i dunno but the electricity saving shout is a good call.

Usually the delayed start is to help people with "Economy 7" style electric charging, so that you can fill the drier at say 6pm, but get it to start at 9pm

It's so you can load it and set it now, but get it to start in say 1hr, 2hrs, 5hrs etc...

I've always found that Comet auctions are best for kitchen appliances. The items may not come in a box, but who wants a box anyway?? They are all still guaranteed, so definitely worth the saving.
IS 31 VU
Dimensions: H67 W49 D48 cm
Colour options: White
• Vented dryer
• Max drying capacity: 3 kg
• Number of heat settings: 2
• Front venting
• Single tumble direction
• Vent hose included
• Removable filter

The energy effieciency of full-sized driers is usually class C.
Perhaps these smaller driers are rated D because you would have to run it twice, using more energy than a full sized drier to dry a full 6 Kg load

but are they any good ?.. are there any reviews... family went and just got a BOSCH with 2 yr warranty included. for £350!!! top end version
THIS particular INDESIT one has only 3kg limit its a compact version!!
has a rating of F not great!!
AND its vented you need a howl in the wall to push out your pipe!!
Condensers do not need the pipe hanging out !! they simply fill up a tank of water which needs emptying and need their filter cleaned.
GET a Zanussi very good or the bosh or Miele if u can afford one!!
we like things to work for years not die in 1-2 these things last for over 7 yrs + BOSCH german well made!!

If you're patient you'll pick up a Bosch or Miele for 1/3 the RRP.
i thought about getting one of the cheapo one's from asda but i couldn't believe it could handle kingsize bedding.
