If you put “ The Oldershaw Academy” for the place of study it won’t ask for any student ID or student number so you will only have to pay for the card and not extra for the buying online Course which usually cost around £10

Am I missing something? Leaving the default course (A-Level accounting, lasting 3 years), cost comes up as £32.
OK, £12 for a year, £32 for 3 years.

So what do these 30/40 year olds do once they've bought an NUS card?

What about older ones probably use it the same as everyone else. It’s worth it for the three years amazon prime, plus the I think three lots of £10 a year discount vouchers on amazon alone.

But don't you need an 'ac.co.uk' email address for Prime?

Nope you send them a copy of your nus card, you don’t even need to wait for the card you can use the copy in the app. Amazon will verify the membership is think it’s around 24 hours and then it’s free for 6 min the and £39 a year for three years even if your course was one hour. amazon.co.uk/Enr…031

Unfortunately this won't get you student prime, you need a ac.uk email address.
Thankyou, it's changed since I had mine, useful to know.

There are thousands of discount s for students. Nothing for ordinary folk. Just look at Amazon or Virgin Media sites.

I've just got stuck on the first page, it's asking for start and end date plus other details. Stumped!!

If you got stumped on the first page maybe being a student isn’t for you...sorry couldn’t resist. Just put any dates in they don’t check and you can do a single course if a few lessons (don’t have to do the course) and still get three years, even next year when your card expires.

Haha, got through it but I'll be the first to admit I'm as thick as rice pudding. So basically you have to pay £12 only and that should last how long if using with Amazon?

It did not ask anything for me . Just paid £33.50 and should get it next week.
