If you have an old phone to recycle, use this link to order this deal which gives you an extra £50 when recycling your old handset.
I've already had my phone dispatched and received my £50 code, will give me £150 for my old iPhone 5 which is better than eBay and seems less faff!

Thanks to wildturkey for this extra data info..............
Just got info from O2 online chat to confirm that you can upgrade the data to change your monthly tarrif to
5gb - £34
10gb -£39
20gb -£49
Once upgraded, you can downgrade back down to your base tariff of 3gb whenever you like if you change your mind.
Great deal
****EDIT*****
Update: This deal has been extended and will run up until the end of the Black Friday weekend. However, we understand there's a chance it may be pulled depending on stock (Gold is temporarily out of stock), due to the sheer popularity of it.

Anyone know if I can just insert an EE sim and happily use that (want to give the phone to my fiance and let her use her EE sim in it?)
But seeing as it would be useful to have the phone unlocked once her contract expires in 6 month, can I unlock the phone via EE or are they just as difficult as O2 when it comes to unlocking the 6S?

As the phone was locked to o2,I put my wife's pay monthly o2 sim in it,filled up the online form again but with her details-name,number,security question, etc and just let her use the phone for few days, until today when the unlock was confirmed. You will need some close friend or relative with o2 pay monthly account. You can lend him your iphone and he will use it with his sim for few days( o2 can see which model phone you are using ). As soon he puts his sim in your phone,he can request unlock from his account and with his details.

They said there are no scratches or marks on lens but when taking picture of white background there is a mark on image. Will ask them to return it, have it assessed for free at Apple and then sell somewhere else or keep, as £70 is just a pittance. Have taken thousands of pictures and no issues. They say they can send image with the dark mark to me but I'm still not convinced. Apple will assess for free so will see what their view is

I'd forgotten what a pain it is restoring old settings from iCloud. Old iPhone is on iOS 9.1, new phone comes shipped with iOS 9.0 so you can't restore old settings during setup. Have to set up as a new iPhone, then update the software to 9.1, then erase all content and settings then setup iPhone again - this time you can restore from last iCloud backup.

Can anyone recommend a decent screen protector for the 6S?
I have to say it's the best ones I have ever seen, it was very easy to fit, no air bubbles, it also fits perfectly and feels like a premium product that will do the job in case the phone does get dropped.
I also bought this case from them, also very well made and I though good value considering some of the crap you see around. Well worth the investment as I want to keep the phone looking good for a long while to come.
Just to update, if you are locked to 3 and want to get it unlocked make sure you escalate, i had to make it a complaint, the girl who helped me was lovely and sorted it out within 24hrs. 18 Nov 15#1650
Once the SIM has been used that's deemed as acceptance of the contract so you can't return it.
With the added initial £25 outlay, the Voda deal only works out £4 cheaper a month, for horrendously bad customer service and a gig less data.
If the mazurka cheque comes off (was advised up to 8 weeks), then the Voda deal only works out £2 cheaper a month, and for a gold phone only. Balls to that.
Mine was unlocked within an hour of submitting the form but it genuinely appears to be pot luck.
Only slightly annoying thing for me is that it appears this offer isn't as rare as I thought it would be, though only mobiles.co.uk seem to be able to offer this price point.

Has anyone else had issues with Mazuma? They have offered me a faulty price with the following reasoning "Defective LCD screen. White mark in display. Mostly visible on white background. New LCD screen required." I called them up and said a white mark on a white display didn't even make sense. Would you 'recommend' using this procedure/method to unlock an iPhone purchased through this deal?
No, before activating the phone and locking it to any network, call up O2 (202) and explain you need to have your phone unlocked as you are travelling for xmas. If they aren't helpful (which would be contrary to their site literally stating "unlock your iPhone at any time, for free"), then you can try locking it to Three and follow my steps. But if too many people do this, mileage may vary...
Did you get any push back from Three?
No - it shouldn't be legal for a network to have their SIM automatically lock a phone not bought from them in the first place! Contrary to a lot of the posts, Three were quite friendly - if you are polite and friendly, people tend to reciprocate.

Thanks for posting these instructions. Would you 'recommend' using this procedure/method to unlock an iPhone purchased through this deal? Thought I'd update this for those who fell for the "use a 3 SIM" scam, my phone is now unlocked to all networks.
Here's what you need to do:
1. Take out the O2 SIM, you might need to put in the Three SIM to get rid of the annoying Activation Failed message, and try the iTunes update following the instructions under the heading (it'll be a 2GB download to iOS 9.1): Updating your device under iTunes
2. After your phone restarts, try putting the O2 SIM in and hope it activates, if not, no sweat, continue on
3. Write down your IMEI number - it should also be on your receipt from Mobiles.co.uk
4. Call Three support on 333 from your Three SIM, don't bother entering your IMEI number, talk to a Support Technician, explain the phone is locked to Three and you've tried an iTunes update (they will insist you do it if you haven't).
5. Ask him to escalate it to the "Network Team" to unlock the IMEI
6. Take the Technician's name and ask for this call's reference number, it'll save you time if you have to follow up
7. You'll get a text message from Three in 2 days saying, "We've now processed your unlock request. To finish unlocking, just insert a working, non-Three SIM and connect your device to iTunes. Thanks"
8. PM me if I've missed something so I can update this post to help others
9. Reluctantly hand over the new, shiny i6S to wife as originally intended
Enjoy :-)

I placed my order at lunch time today for gold , as I've changed my surname as married I wasn't sure if my credit check thingy would be ok. Husband came home at 5.30 and said he wanted one, tried the code didn't work so I phoned. Mine had all gone through and I now this evening have email for delivery tomorrow so gold was in stock this afternoon. (I hadn't seen the link on first page to other colours) I asked about code for husband and they said they stopped it at 4.50 so he just missed out. I've been playing with the link on techrader on the first page to see what else I can find for husband based on same spec as this and it does through up links to mobiles site with differnt colours showing in stock (but obviously not with a code) but a £75 up front instead and a few pounds more a month , as I've ordered I get a £25 referral payment if he now orders , so looking to see if we can make a nearly good deal for him lol (I'm smug faced with a new phone coming)

I'm sorry to hear this. I updated the original post to alert people that the trick no longer works.
It is probably best to keep on to Three via social media about this and nag them to unlock it for you. I say social media because their customer services team will probably fob you off stating that your iPhone is already unlocked, when it isn't. Their social media team are more likely to escalate it. I'm currently helping my mate try to get his unlocked from Three and am awaiting a response from their social media team. I feel terrible for suggesting this as it clearly no longer works - but the trick did in fact work perfectly on my iPhone 6 I got six months ago.

For anyone else talking with Three retention teams about moving from them, the best I could get them down to after being on the phone for an hour going back and forth was:
Unlocked iPhone 6S 64GB
No upfront cost
24 month manufacturers warranty (possibly AppleCare+?)
2GB data (tetherable)
unlimited minutes / unlimited texts
£36 per month
=£864 TCO
Obviously you get Feel At Home etc. It sounded like they might be working on a deal for Black Friday (there's a banner on the Three.co.uk website) but they were understandably tight lipped about this.

You should not have to pay that much, in your account page under 'upgrade options' it will tell you the figure you need to pay in order to fast track an upgrade today, Mine is at £510 (I am on the £34ppm 5GB contract) Yours should be £465 but in 12 months time I would expect it to be approx half that. So my guess is around the £230 mark.

I got 3 emails upon completion, 2 at the same time from O2 one saying 'we want to say hi', then one giving me my username, then 8 minutes later I got one from mobiles.co.uk saying "the order has been successfully processed and will be despatched shortly" it was this email that contained the code, I presume it is this one you still not had as yet?
More importantly, I think, is a good screen protector. This one was recommended by a friend with a 6-plus. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MGE1WYG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Its pretty easy to put on, no bubbles or anything... The point is to buy a "glass 9H" one. He dropped his phone & thought he has smashed the screen. Turned out the protector has smashed but the screen was intact so definitely worth the investment.

A month from when the SIM is active I think so mid dec, you'll find out when you get your SIM card since direct debit cannot be activated instantly and takes 2 weeks itself to show up on your banking and payment allowed to be taken from.

And for anyone new to Apple, or moving from an older iphone like I am, Apple have reduced the cost of icloud storage so I just signed up with their 50gb option at just 79p per month.
This way I can back everything up from my iphone4 and when the 6s arrives tomorrow I can restore it all to the new phone, saves messing with iTunes!!

£819 is 24 month total, your £799 is for 12 months. Back to nursery m8
£979 for 24 months with your "amazing" Giffgaff deal. Oh don't forget the rate limited 4g speeds which are really less than what 3g gets you! You also got big headed useless forum support who wraith you on any bad things about them and not to mention the quality of the network as it randomly drops. o2 clearly downgraded giffgaff brand for low quality users.

Ive just had a lengthy conversation with Three as I rang for my PAC code. The guy went on about how the monthly price will jump in a few months. I wasn't sure if he was scaremonging or its possible.
Looking at 02's t&cs they only mention:
1. Charges/Price increases – Each year your Monthly Subscription Charges will be subject to an annual adjustment by the RPI Rate. RPI (or Retail Price Index) is a measure of inflation published by the Office of National Statistics. It measures the change in the cost of a sample of retail goods and services. This adjustment could be an increase or a decrease and the adjusted amount will first appear on your April bill
Any thoughts?
kiish to netboy
16 Nov 152#1469
As mentioned 929831237 times every provider is saying this because they can't beat this amazing deal. The price may go up with inflation which at the moment is <£0-1/year but it isn't just o2 who do this.
dromi
16 Nov 151#1467
its because you've gone through the mazuma site, which will not allow you to put the code. essentially you can't have both discounts so go via the mobile.co.uk site directly...

I did think about it but it would effectively save me £1.20 a month, but I have to shell out £619 upfront.

Any other time I'd have jumped on it. Have increased my new o2 contract to 5Gb per month for an extra £3 effective at midnight however as I use between 4-5GB per month, still a cracking deal.

I've just had a lengthy conversation with three when I asked for my PAC code. The was saying the monthly price will jump up to £40+ in a couple of months, he said they can change it as per the t&cs. Anyone think he was scaremongering or can they do that?
kiish to netboy
16 Nov 15#1458
Scaremongering. In any case they do that you get to keep the phone and contract can be cancelled so you can move away.
Max allowed is the inflation rate yearly.
FocusST to netboy
16 Nov 15#1459
They just put it up annually in line with inflation so it's never much.
I took my current contract out with O2 in 2011 and it was £20 a month, it is now £21.42 so you can see it doesn't jump much each year. And you can change it every 2 years to a new tariff if you keep the phone which normally reduces it anyway.
I've not had any problems with O2 in the long time I;ve been with them (since the first iPhone!)

16 Nov 15#1447
Fantastic deal, snapped this up but haven't had my Mazuma voucher through the emails yet...will try getting on to them to chase it up.
Also - this deal is getting VERY well known now, so if you don't want to switch to O2 give your network a call - guarantee they'll know about this deal now. When I called up Three to cancel my rolling SIM-only contract (that I've probably only had for 4-5 months) they were more than happy to offer me the exact same deal - in fact they mentioned mobiles.co.uk before I'd even mentioned where I'd got the deal. I'd already ordered the new one though and fancied switching to O2 so I declined but interesting to see that it's spread like wildfire already.

I'm going to talk to Three now! Yesterday when I rang up to find out how much it would be to cancel my contract the best they could offer was an iPhone 6S 64GB, no upfront cost, 2GB data, unlimited texts & minutes for £37 per month.

16 Nov 15#1456

I jumped on this deal straight away last week and got the 6s 64gb gold version. Cracking deal. Delivery was very quick. I previously had a 5s on an existing O2 contract, but will be transferring over my existing number to my new contract. Got £130 for 5s, so that easily covered the £75 one-off cost for the new phone, plus the extra cost to buy out of my current contract.
Result - brand new phone, better spec than 5s, cheaper monthly tariff and more data allowance than previous contract.

I bought a Spigen capsule for about £8, and a tempered glass screen protector for 99p off eBay (which has chipped already! Never had an issue with the cheap iPhone 5 ones but I suspect it's because this one is more exposed, as it doesn't cover edge to edge.)
Seems OK to me so far...

Hopefully Curteh will explain because I have no idea EXACTLY how this worked but I ordered yesterday afternoon through the mobiles.co.uk site and still got my Mazuma voucher emailed shortly after.
I ordered on iPad through Safari, I went through the Mazuma site first looking where to put the code in (all the way up to payment of phone page stage), I then realised the code should be on the first page so without closing that tab I followed the link in this deal added the £100 off code and completed right through, and after completion I got an email from Mazuma with my £50 off code?

Depends on what you prefer.
If a larger screen, microSD card slot, better battery life, higher resolution camera and water resistance is important to you then get the Z5.

£619 for the 6s 64 GB on the Apple website. So you are getting the airtime for the equivalent of around £8.35 a month which is rather good deal indeed. I'd say this is almost as good as the IDMobile glitch deal last month.
Ordered a silver one last night, wanted a plus but having tested them out this weekend the plus is very big with a case on and I think it would have started to annoy me quickly. This deal is only £9 a month more than my iphone 4 contract with only 1gb of data so very good for me as the iphone4 is slowing down a lot!!
For anyone else already on an O2 contract, which number do you phone for customer services to swap my number over? Contract ended in 2013 so I just need to swap my number to the new phone which I am hoping they can do.

Frustratingly for those still seeking an unlock for their iPhones it does appear to be pot-luck at the moment.
As best I can deduce the official O2 policy is to not unlock new iPhones for the first six months following release of that generation handset then they will happily unlock via Customer Services or their online form although some here, including myself, have been able to get their iPhone 6S bought via this deal unlocked.

However on a previous occasion I ordered an iPhone 5S from O2 and unlocked it via the online form without ever taking the O2 SIM out of its packaging. I also cancelled that O2 contract (it was Refresh) and so the SIM was never used.
So I wouldn't worry too much about the O2 SIM at this stage so long as all the details you enter on the online form are correct you should be okay.

Just wait a few days because if you have submitted multiple unlocking requests then so long as one contained all the relevant and valid details then you should hear from O2 shortly that your iPhone is unlocked. Meanwhile try putting a different network SIM into your iPhone and see if the unlock has gone through; don't worry about connecting to iTunes as I didn't need to do that - just swap the SIM. Good luck! :smirk:

butch83
15 Nov 15#1347
after submitting you get a txt saying nearly there finish off by indexing a non o2 sim and connect to iTunes. If you don't get this txt it could be security incorrect message.
Then swap out sim start up connect to iTunes enter iTunes user/pass and phone connect to operator you have inserted. Made test call all OK.
I then switched back to the o2 sim test call again all fine.

Just got info from O2 online chat to confirm that you can upgrade the data to change your monthly tarrif to
5gb - £34
10gb -£39
20gb -£49
Once upgraded, you can downgrade back down to your base tariff of 3gb whenever you like if you change your mind.
Great deal
Great job guys..
This deal is via mobiles.co.uk. If I wish to upgrade it to 10 gb internet from the beginning, how can I make sure of this?
Thanks

14 Nov 15#1339
Read the email again carefully as I suspect you got the same as my first attempt:
"I'm sorry, we have not been able to unlatch your device at this time.
The reason given is:
Sorry, you?ve not passed our security checks with the detail you gave
us. Please check you?ve provided the correct information and then resend
the form."
What that refers to is when you are asked to enter certain characters from the security password you use when you contact O2 customer service, not the one to sign into their website.
If you don't know the password then I suggest you contact O2 customer service on 202 from your new O2 SIM and ask them to help you with the password then resend the online form.

I was speaking to my brother today, (not a subscriber to HotUKdeals) and he told me of this deal. He ordered a phone on Tuesday and received it on Thursday. So it's 100% genuine, just a matter of how long will it last??? I'm out of contract in the first week of December. On the back of that, I've just ordered one for myself. My Mrs is buying it as my birthday present and putting the contract inher name. Win Win!

Using Mazuma? You can't use both £50 Mazuma + £100 off iPhone, this was a error and they fixed it. So you need to choose between the two. For £100 off you go directly from mobiles.co.uk
Why wouldn't you? This times perfectly, every 2 years the much more optimised version of the previous version comes out. In 2 years from 7 it'll be 7S for example which fixes any issues etc.

Not quite correct. If you buy an iPhone from an Apple store it is unlocked and will remain unlocked however many different SIMs you put into it.
If you buy an iPhone from the Dixons Carphone group, as in this deal, then the iPhone is likely to lock to the network provider of the SIM used to complete the iPhone activation process.
m20dal
14 Nov 15#1297
I put a 3 sim in mine and set it up and then tried an 02 and it doesn't work says activation required but I wonder if it would work if I restored it then set up with the 02 sim ? What does everyone think ?

usenetz to m20dal

Your iPhone is now registered on Apple servers as 'locked' and so requires an Apple certified network operator to request an unlock. If I were in your position the first thing I would do is to complete the O2 unlocking form.

14 Nov 151#1292
This is the best deal, this got hot before even the Mazuma offer was posted. The £100 off is what makes this deal hot, the Mazuma was a nice bonus.
I am one of those who ordered directly but I called minutes after ordering and got £50 cheque sent when it was available, even if they said no I would have kept the order.
No one can match this, other mobile providers are fobbing off saying this is a refurbished deal or some unusual t&cs, neither are true. It's that good.
kiish
14 Nov 15#1290
Sorry I was trying to say you can still get £50 if you order from Mazuma but you won't get the £100 off the iPhone because you cannot put the coupon code in the order form anymore. They removed this few days after the iPhone promo so i'm sure CS is aware of this so won't give it to new orders after removal anymore.

Their website still states the information so I'll just play with that. The useless customer service representative I had earlier said the only reason I can't get it is because I didn't sign up with the right referral link. **** coming Monday morning!
I didn't click through the Mazuma Mobile website even though Mazuma.mobiles.co.uk doesn't clearly state you have to so therefore they are not sending me my code for £50 bonus. Speaking to a manager on Monday.
kiish to Savedotmoney
14 Nov 15#1285
Old promo, it's unlikely the manager will do anything. The promo was only available when the deal was posted for 72 hours or so, they've removed the option to enter a voucher code when buying from mazuma link so it would be +£100 for the phone if you went through them.
If you ordered when the deal was originally posted then you may get away with it.

Hi! Anyone has Samsung chip? My iphone has it , I read on the internet awful review about it, does anyone know if this affect a lot your battery? I am thinking to exchange it. Thx
I wouldn't exchange it, it's barely a minimal difference. If you exchange it, you've got a 50/50 chance of getting another with a Samsung chip. You can't specifically ask for a certain chip type as it's random.
Just ordered one for my wife. Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this (CBA to read through the comments), but the tariff will be increased every April by the Network.

An unlocked handset is more useful than a locked handset. For example, when I go on holiday I can use a Three SIM in their 'Feel at Home' countries and divert my O2 number to the Three SIM to receive calls as well as use the O2 TuGo app to make calls from my O2 number. Versatility!

Sorry boss, still £819 such a high price, not worth, I am happy with my £209 worth of huawei honor 7 specs : 5.2", 16 gb, dual sim, micro sd, irda sensor, gps, gyro, 4g, 3 gb ram, 20 mp sony main camera with duel tone flash, 8 mp front camera with led flash, fm radio, dual antena design and btw complete metal unibody with more screen to body ratio, 72% vs 65%, 425 vs 326 ppi, screen size 5.2" vs 4.7", 20 mp vs 12 mp main camera, front camera 8 mp vs 5 mp, only hype, apple have to thanks people worldwide iphone buyers because of their huge support they can sell cheapest config phone for such a high price/margin, no surprice that's why company is richer than ever before
And honor 7 is now available to order and delivered from uk so local sales and support and mine has 3 years warranty offered as part of promotion, its really funny but it's difficult to beat £209 of honor 7 with £619 iphone 6s, and btw if I get sim only deal with cashback and buy any top android phone I can still save lot money compared to iphone
This deal is nothing special, only things honor 7 can't beat is "hypnotized iphone fans"
Lol forgets to mention the main point: honor 7 has fingerprint reader also, which is fastest in the world

Stuck that bolex in google translate and it translated to two words "jealous mofo".
Accidentally "liked" your post too....I'll seek forgiveness for that wrongdoing!.
Just had to DFU restore to get to 9.1, had set it up out of the box without enabling anything like iCloud (was planning to restore from my 5 in a week or so), and kept getting error 9 when updating.
All seems fine though so at least it's starting from a clean slate.

Obviously this is very subjective and personal opinion. I have used been using iPhone since the launch of 3GS - I then went to 4S and stayed with that until this week when I ordered the 6S via this deal.
Clearly the 6S is a much better handset than my 4S but I have to say I am feeling extremely underwhelmed by the transition and compared to my Android makes me think it's about time Apple made improvements to their user interface (UI); the customisability of my Elephone and any Android is great and using the iPhone 6S just illustrates how Apple seem stuck in a time warp when it comes to UI.
Nevertheless the iPhone 6S is a very capable (if over-priced) device and this is defiantly a smoking hot deal so many thanks to the OP herby247 :innocent:

Unlock from O2 is free.
If you're a Pay Monthly customer, then you can unlock your iPhone at any time, for free. This doesn't affect your contract though – you'll still need to see out the rest of it. This policy may vary depending on your phone and tariff.
"Make sure you enter the mobile number that you bought the phone with, to avoid being charged."
Do they really mean that? You enter the number originally supplied with the phone rather than any ported over number?

An update on the three sim card unlock
I still have my one plan sim rolling and are going to the USA on holiday in a few weeks so thought I would use the Three sim first for roaming and worry later.
I filled in the Three unlocking form and spoke to the call centre and it would seem they are going to unlock the phone. Can take upto a week but will confirm once done.
Might be an option for people with a pay monthly Three contract.
Also I don't have another network sim to try so unsure if it's 100% locked anyway - I haven't activated with iTunes or anything.

As you know the SIM is already active and you are being charged for your O2 contract however the iPhone does not need to be activated until you are ready; once you activated the iPhone it will lock to the network of the SIM you use during the iPhone activation process which can be on Christmas Day with any network SIM card.

This "£800 for a phone" thing is ridiculous, you are paying £800 for a combined phone and package. I pay over £500 over 2 years on contract as it is with my very old iphone4, and yes I do keep them for more than a year. I also use it for my business and trust me £400 per/annum is nothing to a business compared to rent, rates, staff etc.
And to some people, £400 a year isn't really that much money even for none business use, I spend more than that on tat for the kids!!
I wish this deal was for the plus model though as I really want that one I think.

I had considered a different phone until I was at a conference with a 'Professional Hacker'.. Long story short, Apple is the hardest to Hack. Not impossible but pretty hard. Android & others are pretty easy to those who know what they are doing since their Apps marketplace is so open.
Bit extra for the phone, yes, but better that than have my details/identity stolen... Again!!

Some people drive in old clapped out cars with little safety equipment such as abs, air bags and so on, others drive around in brand new cars with up to date technology.
i'm not saying which is better, its down to personal choice. I know which i would rather have if i could afford it.

Really, much like the shouty man earlier I'm extremely happy with a £10 a month SIM on an unlocked £150 Zenfone. And yes it gets updates on pretty much a daily basis after about a year of release. And no it hasn't randomly restarted a single time, and also it probably won't blow up either.
But people will want to be Apple clones. Enjoy that. Oh but I'll pretend to be all jealous if it makes you happy.

This is a hot deal, but I can't understand why people are looking to unlock it and use a different SIM. If you're only needing the handset and not the contract, then it's certainly not the cheapest way to buy this iPhone.

Yup, original deal post needs updated as you can no longer stack the Mazuma deal with the money off promo code. The promo code box has been removed from mazuma.mobiles.co.uk
I've e-mailed them and a very unhelpful Craig told me they've done me the best deal they could, and you cannot combine the two deals. I've e-mailed back explaining that it was possible to get both, and that they compensated some customers who missed out. They can only say no.
Anyway on the positive side, Quidco £10 has tracked.

I spoke to O2 customer service to transfer my existing phone number and gave them my SIM card number and phone number to port in the contract temporary number they said it will take 2-24 hours for the change to happen and I should keep the phone off for 2 hours can anyone confirm this is the right procedure
I also said I want to unlock my new IPhone 6s and she said I would have to buy my the whole contract paying £800 to get the phone unlocked or stay with them for the remaining 24 months and get it unlocked when the software comes out which will be when the new iPhone 7 comes out they can't unlock it before the latest phone comes out.
I also said I've filled in the online form to get it unlocked she said it will be rejected so that's that thanks

To save anyone the hassle of restoring from an old iPhone, you need to do the software update to 9.1 first as there is a bug that meant couldn't access my iTunes account without connecting to wifi. I couldn't connect to wifi without connecting to iTunes account. So vicious circle really. Frustrating but phone call to Apple hopefully solved it. It's a 2 GB download. It's gonna take a while on my slow connection but hopefully fixes issue.

The iPhone will lock to the network of the first SIM you use to activate the handset, i.e. you can put any SIM in and it will show as working but as soon as you complete the iPhone activation process then the iPhone will lock to the SIM used to complete that process.

One of the benefits of an O2 refresh deal, the ability to get out any time...will miss that facility :disappointed:
djbenny1
12 Nov 151#984
Eh?
Let's take the same tariff (3GB isn't available so I've averaged 2GB and 4GB - £19.50 for 12mth contract or £21.50 for 30day contract).
Let's say you take the dearer 30day option for no ties. Over 2 years, that's £516.
Subtract that from the total cost of this deal which is £819 - that leaves you with £303 (am I going too fast for you?).
Now, what I have just worked out here (and I hope you're still following) is the cost of the phone - brand new model, 64GB storage.
If you were to go to Apple and buy this phone there it will cost you £619 - again, I hope this isn't too complex for you, but if you take £303 from £619, you are left with £316.
Consumers like to refer to this as a "saving", and this post as a "deal".
Familiarise yourself with the terms - they're used a lot around here.
PS. I made this just for you.

EE has a much larger 3G and 4G network, but of course it does depend on where you live.

How have people who didn't go through the Mazuma link get the 50 credit, are you going to Mobiles or Mazuma direct?

Mine arrived yesterday. Pre installed with ios9 and literally 3 minutes into the setup got hit with the "slide to upgrade" glitch. Had to plug it into itunes, download ios 9.1 and restore the phone from that. All up and running now and O2 have transferred my old number over. Very happy now

If you have an old phone to recycle, use this link to order this deal which gives you an extra £50 when recycling your old handset.
I've already had my phone dispatched and received my £50 code, will give me £150 for my old iPhone 5 which is better than eBay and seems less faff!

In case this helps anybody else, I ordered via this link: http://www.mazumamobile.com/mobilescouk-bonus.php
Gives me £50 extra when I recycle my old phone, so that's £150 back for my old iPhone 5. Not too bad I thought.

PLEASE HELP
But seeing as it would be useful to have the phone unlocked once her contract expires in 6 month, can I unlock the phone via EE or are they just as difficult as O2 when it comes to unlocking the 6S?
TIA
At the risk of coming across as rude, can you please use some punctuation in your post? As above, mine came from CPW.
Arrived at the same address the phone was sent to.
I said I want £50 off with mazuma do I have to order again guy on the phone said he will send me a cheque of £50 and will process it after I hang up the phone I said put me on hold and process it and let me know what happens next he said he has to end the call them speak to finance department and they will send the cheque out might take upto 6 weeks
I am still waiting no response or cheque yet so far please tell me who did you call and what they told you and who did the cheque come from because I'm still waiting oh can you please confirm where they sent the cheque to billing address or the where you had your phone delivered. I am checking both addresses for the last 2 weeks. Thanks

If you didn't get in touch with them when it first happened I'm not sure they'll help - I made the point the day after it arrived that I could cancel and re-order via Mazuma.
How do you still get this deal?
I've tried the 2 codes and neither work.
Tried ringing customer services yesterday and today but closed.
How do i order this deal for my son please?
Why??
It took 4 days before o2 get back to us.Hope this will work for you.
You can ask some close relative, who's on o2 to try do this for you, could be working for you as well.
Also you get your first bill as when you activate the phone not when you order it. So I imagine you could hold off for some time if you wanted.
How can you not have white marks on a white background. We're getting conned here!!!!

Just waiting for my number to port, so I can unlock.
http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-and-devices/unlocking-your-iphone-and-using-it-on-another-network#qs
Haven't tried this . But from what I read on the amazon reviews it seems to be the case.
One thing to take into account, a lot of people complaining it doesn't cover the whole screen. The thing is, this are hard covers, and since there is a bevel on iphone 6s the cover can't reach the edges. It's fine, nothing to worry about!
£2 for 5 attempts :-)
Make sure you use the supplied cleaning cloth and dust remover sticker to clean the screen first, then use the application card to remove air bubbles.

Being polite always help, now it's your turn to do your part and complete the questionaire from Three when you get a text.
Highly unethical. I am sending back my perfect Z1 with the hope of £90 instead of £40 - I wont hold my breath.

Thanks for the update.
We phoned 3e and they said as the phone is bought from mobiles.co.uk, they can't do anything. We have also emailed the proof of purchase but still the same answer. Did you register your 3E sim with the customer services?
I was offered a total of £75 saying that it was revalued as its faulty and would not switch on yet it had never even been slightly temperamental even once in all the time i had it so im awaiting its return due to me refusing there offer >:disappointed:
2. I got my iPhone 6S 'unlatched' after using the O2 online unlock form.
Enjoy :-)

This is what I get :-
It is probably best to keep on to Three via social media about this and nag them to unlock it for you.
I couldn't get the form to send on Friday so phoned o2 customer services and gave them the PAC code- they initially said it would be transferred on Monday but it got delayed until today, I expect they are very busy thanks to this deal!
I'm struggling to get my number ported. Sent the form off on Friday and heard nothing back so sent another today. Don't you get an e-mail confirmation to say they have been received?
Thanks for the advice. Just received an OOS email for the Silver 64gb. Phoned them straight up asking if they've got any alternate colours available. They located a Silver one and is being shipped between 7:30am-6pm tomorrow! Yay!

Obviously you get Feel At Home etc. It sounded like they might be working on a deal for Black Friday (there's a banner on the Three.co.uk website) but they were understandably tight lipped about this.
ee don't seem interested in even coming that close though!
ee don't seem interested in even coming that close though!
He said to wait until Black Friday deals but they are not going to release them to existing customers any earlier. I am within the last 30 days of my contract too. I like the 3 package as I will need feel at home from next month when I travel.
Here's a thought why don't they put on the iPhone a radio that doesn't use wifi !!!
My Nokia off waaaaaaaay back and I mean way back had a fm radio !! Back then didn't have apps didn't have 3G just had a green screen snake game and a radio !!!!!
Or for people older than me a wireless lol
They also have the space grey! which I initially wanted but ordered silver as it was OOS.
Am I wrong here - You get sent the code after you have purchased the new phone, and input the code on Mazuma when you are selling your old mobile to get an extra £50 for it?
I had to reset my network settings. Go to settings > General> Reset> Reset network settings.
O2 weren't very helpful on this front.
Ordered mine yesterday and still at "Order submitted" stage.
"This Promotion shall be valid until 30th April 2016. However, Mobiles.co.uk and Mazuma reserve the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the terms of this Promotion or withdraw it." The offer is still showing if you use the dedicated link http://www.mazumamobile.com/mobilescouk-bonus.php
My old EE sim is still working as normal and my o2 sim also works on the temporary number given, but I will wait until 6pm before I query it.
now these are good phones with bags of storage and a good traiff - we both went from the 4s to this and if honest apart from 4G and the processor is it bad i wasnt like WOW this is great - its an Iphone folks better camera better processor but same software as my trust 4S
if anyone wishes to enlighen me as to other things i can do that my 4S couldnt do tell lol im all ears
Better graphics
Bigger battery
A better camera sensor ensuring better photos
Make 4K videos
NFC allowing you to use Pay
Touch ID fingerprint sensor
Force Touch like a right-click on mouse allowing Peek and Pop (try it on the camera app)
Live Photos (if you like that kind of thing)
Larger screen (obviously ;-)
But I kinda agree with you - I like my 4S! Not to worry you can 'upgrade' to the iPhone 7mini next year.
"I spent £800 on something and I've got no idea if it's any better than the thing I'm replacing, in fact it seems pretty much the same to me"
Oo
Spoke to O2 earlier and was told it should be done by 6pm
app development has moved heavily to iO9. You will find many apps will stop working, etc
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/r.html?C=2F1HKFMSHK6AF&K=A2SC3T4R16DTP3&R=1ZZDB7Q9P540H&T=C&U=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.co.uk%2Fdp%2FB00N9CYWLO%2Fref%3Dpe_1909131_77697001_tnp_email_TE_AMZLdp_3&A=WHUVNKZHETTYAARKOMXOEPSM7SEA&H=6PYQC1TW7TID5GROE0XXS1MAQUQA&ref_=pe_1909131_77697001_tnp_email_TE_AMZLdp_3
I won't gripe about an extra £50 over two years - it's the 2GB data that kills it for me as I'm in the 2-3GB band per month at the moment! Went with the Mobiles.co.uk deal instead - hoping Three don't pull out all the stops on Black Friday otherwise I won't be impressed with myself!
That is approx double the speed of my home BB (in a place where I use WiFi to save data usage :disappointed:)
I have just tried Virgin simcard and it has worked for me even though I have been using the iphone on O2 from day 1.
Hope this helps

More importantly, I think, is a good screen protector. This one was recommended by a friend with a 6-plus. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00MGE1WYG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Its pretty easy to put on, no bubbles or anything... The point is to buy a "glass 9H" one. He dropped his phone & thought he has smashed the screen. Turned out the protector has smashed but the screen was intact so definitely worth the investment.

Would appear to be an outstanding deal.
I know it's a contract but your paying for phone and sim but if sim doesn't work O2 will send replacement if a fault with the phone what happens after 12 month Apple warranty expires and is the sales after act anything to rely on thanks
I'm happy with the iPhone 6s deal but not best pleased with time ive wasted time dealing with Mazuma :disappointed:
I get a email from Mazuma today moments before they close saying its faulty and offering me £85 less than they offered
http://www.sellmymobile.com/phone/apple-iphone-5-64gb/
Tried ordering one for my wife over the weekend and today she received failed credit check email too, bizarre. I believe theyve run out of stock. Not sure whether it's worth trying again.
But yes, any iphone5 users will have to do that.
Email Monday stating that the network operator had declined us after a credit check.
****, never had a credit issue or decline in the past. I think it's their excuse to escape after being flooded with buyers.
Now to get rid of our iPhone 5s's......
Does anyone know when the first £31 bill payment goes out? Got an email this morning from O2 before I'd even got the phone saying the bill was ready but no date on when!
This way I can back everything up from my iphone4 and when the 6s arrives tomorrow I can restore it all to the new phone, saves messing with iTunes!!
Goto silver then on the left side bar choose o2 and Handset price £100 to £200 then you'll see the £31
I guess you could go with £50 from mazuma and it still would be a decent deal..
I thought about paying up the refresh charge of £465 which would immediately release me from the contract also but again don't really want to part with £500 upfront.
Any other time I'd have jumped on it. Have increased my new o2 contract to 5Gb per month for an extra £3 effective at midnight however as I use between 4-5GB per month, still a cracking deal.
Max allowed is the inflation rate yearly.
I have no actual idea what I did to enable both offers (no hate) but it worked.
If i click through from Mazuma the voucher code box isn't there to stick the BLACKNOV15 code in?
Am i missing something?
If a larger screen, microSD card slot, better battery life, higher resolution camera and water resistance is important to you then get the Z5.
If you prefer the way iOS works, access to better quality apps, faster updates, better customer support, and a higher residual value after two years then the 6s is for you.

For anyone else already on an O2 contract, which number do you phone for customer services to swap my number over? Contract ended in 2013 so I just need to swap my number to the new phone which I am hoping they can do.
As best I can deduce the official O2 policy is to not unlock new iPhones for the first six months following release of that generation handset then they will happily unlock via Customer Services or their online form although some here, including myself, have been able to get their iPhone 6S bought via this deal unlocked.
I just wonder if this voucher works only with this particular deal ? Would it for with iPhone 6s Plus ?
Thanks

Don't think the Mazuma link is working anymore, just the normal £100 off... still a cracking deal..
You are tied in a contract, why would they offer 50% off? They have nothing to lose.
+Inflation
The code I used was for £99.99 and DPD delivery charge is £0.01 and from £175.00 if you take £99.99 and £0.01 it comes to £75.02 including all charges.
I have checked my remaining balance on my account and saw £0.01 is pending for credit check so I'm being charged £0.03 for no reason many thanks
Edit: or you can have it delivered to any registered business
In my case it was the 13 nov 15.
31 for the cost of the bill. I couldn't provide those memorable letters/numbers so I choose 'I don't know my password'
Then I entered 'unlimited minutes and text, 3gb data' in the plan description.
Yes I completed the online form and my iPhone is now 'unlatched' :stuck_out_tongue: from O2. Good luck! :smirk:
Did you manage to unlock?
Then swap out sim start up connect to iTunes enter iTunes user/pass and phone connect to operator you have inserted. Made test call all OK.
I then switched back to the o2 sim test call again all fine.
5gb - £34

Once upgraded, you can downgrade back down to your base tariff of 3gb whenever you like if you change your mind.
Great deal
Great job guys..
This deal is via mobiles.co.uk. If I wish to upgrade it to 10 gb internet from the beginning, how can I make sure of this?
Thanks
Raj
Thanks for your email but we have now shut down our email support service WTF
What happens now do I call them or just leave it help me not sure if this is normal did anyone else receive a email after sending the unlock form thanks waiting for your reply
EDIT: Tested with a Three sim, can confirm now unlocked.
Still waiting......
Bet you're the sort that trades his car in too
I just don't understand what mug would have a iPhone 5 and get rid of it for a 6 at the cost of £600 more
I feel just like Anakin Skywalker
I still say its utter bolex. Just before you accuse me of being a "fanboy" - I'm a Samsung S4 owner. I'm not going to preach about it though as everyone's opinions / needs are different.
Received the phone yesterday. Inserted 3 pay as you go sim to unlock the phone but now the phone is locked to 3. I am not able to use o2 sim now. Please advise.
If you buy an iPhone from the Dixons Carphone group, as in this deal, then the iPhone is likely to lock to the network provider of the SIM used to complete the iPhone activation process.
MSE recommends Insurance2go.com which is £79/yr but its cheaper from Gadget-cover.com from TCB for £53.91/year + £5.50 cashback
Thanks!
I am one of those who ordered directly but I called minutes after ordering and got £50 cheque sent when it was available, even if they said no I would have kept the order.
No one can match this, other mobile providers are fobbing off saying this is a refurbished deal or some unusual t&cs, neither are true. It's that good.
If you ordered when the deal was originally posted then you may get away with it.

Good deals Johnny.
Also, if you want a Rose Gold phone, change apple-iphone-6s-64gb-gold to apple-iphone-6s-64gb-rose-gold in the URL to get the same deal.
Ps do I have to update the iPhone to IOS 9.02 thanks again
Perhaps each colour only has a certain amount mate not sure.
This illustrates why the policy of Dixons Carphone to lock iPhones to the SIM first used to activate the handset is so ludicrous and should be abandoned immediately.
Does anyone know where to get a tempered glass screen protector which goes to the edge of the screen? As ones I have ordered seem to leave a slight gap?
Ps. Why is everyone obsessed with unlocking this phone?! The phone is locked to the first sim that goes in.... simple!
To others asking, I want to give the phone to my other half (not a iphone person) but keep the contract as I need one anyway. Just can't believe I still have to pay EE £8 to get a 2 year old out-of-contract HTC One unlocked when a brand new Iphone 6s is free!
I resubmitted the unlock request using the O2 form and today got the following text:
My iPhone 6S is now unlocked.
:stuck_out_tongue:

i tried last night and no code code was available on mazuma mobile link
eh its the same choices of colours lol
its the name of the plan
Help?
Thanks
Sure this can't be right? Bill within one day?
I then removed the Three SIM before completing the iPhone activation process and used the O2 SIM to activate. The handset is now locked to O2.
I myself do not use iphone but I also dont try and belittle people for their choice.
Enjoy your jollys at others expense. They probably dont give a ****
I see someone who has an opinion that a much cheaper phone can rival an Iphone or a Samsung; hence the former, in his opinion, is a better deal.
I own a number of Apple, Windows and Android devices; the worst thing about owning an Apple device is being associated with the childish masses that are Apple fanboys......Mac Rumours is a cesspit.
Lol forgets to mention the main point: honor 7 has fingerprint reader also, which is fastest in the world
Accidentally "liked" your post too....I'll seek forgiveness for that wrongdoing!.

All seems fine though so at least it's starting from a clean slate.
Great, thank you both!
Thanks
Clearly the 6S is a much better handset than my 4S but I have to say I am feeling extremely underwhelmed by the transition and compared to my Android makes me think it's about time Apple made improvements to their user interface (UI); the customisability of my Elephone and any Android is great and using the iPhone 6S just illustrates how Apple seem stuck in a time warp when it comes to UI.
Nevertheless the iPhone 6S is a very capable (if over-priced) device and this is defiantly a smoking hot deal so many thanks to the OP herby247 :innocent:
How long has it taken people to get responses?
How to check whether your new iPhone 6s / 6s Plus comes with Samsung or TSMC-made Apple A9
Read more at http://www.phonearena.com/news/How-to-check-whether-your-new-iPhone-6s--6s-Plus-comes-with-Samsung-or-TSMC-made-Apple-A9_id74516#IkG3dvwWL3EOmbff.99
Just installed Irium on mine and I've got the N71mAP TSMC chip so they're certainly not offloading a load of the Samsung ones. Very happy
If you're a Pay Monthly customer, then you can unlock your iPhone at any time, for free. This doesn't affect your contract though – you'll still need to see out the rest of it. This policy may vary depending on your phone and tariff.
http://www.o2.co.uk/help/phones-and-devices/unlocking-your-iphone-and-using-it-on-another-network
Do they really mean that? You enter the number originally supplied with the phone rather than any ported over number?
What did they say about £50.00 cheque you wanted from them?
How long would it take for them to process this and to send to you?
Many thanks
Superb thanks for the quick response.
I will use my standing Vodafone contract sim in the new iphone 6 then give the O2 contract sim to my daughters unlock phone so I can keep my number.
Many thanks
Thanks
Help please much appreciated.
Mobiles.co.uk need to work on their stock control system but then maybe there is unprecedented demand given this deal.
Happy Christmas! :smirk:
What about a giffgaff sim , as it uses 02 network, will it work on this phone?
What about a giffgaff sim , as it uses 02 network, will it work on this phone?
Am i allowed to upgrade for 6plus by paying extra without increasing monthly tariff??
Also it gets updated on a daily basis does it? Shows how poor the software must be!
And to some people, £400 a year isn't really that much money even for none business use, I spend more than that on tat for the kids!!
I wish this deal was for the plus model though as I really want that one I think.
Bit extra for the phone, yes, but better that than have my details/identity stolen... Again!!
Really, buy wtf you want, but why come on to forums like this just to criticise a phone or their buyers!!!??? Haters Gonna Hate I guess.
Everyone should be happy with their purchase whether you with £150.00 phone or someone with £10.00 phone ... after all its festive season so lets enjoy and be happy
Some people drive in old clapped out cars with little safety equipment such as abs, air bags and so on, others drive around in brand new cars with up to date technology.
i'm not saying which is better, its down to personal choice. I know which i would rather have if i could afford it.
Before you start going on about cars being different than phones, why do you not go with the cheaper option of not having a phone?
Really, much like the shouty man earlier I'm extremely happy with a £10 a month SIM on an unlocked £150 Zenfone. And yes it gets updates on pretty much a daily basis after about a year of release. And no it hasn't randomly restarted a single time, and also it probably won't blow up either.
But people will want to be Apple clones. Enjoy that. Oh but I'll pretend to be all jealous if it makes you happy.
Anything you can tell me that might get me a similar deal, been laughable what they've offered so far.
The guy I spoke to at EE was a waste of time today, came up with a £50 deal with an ipad mini and 10gb - then had a strop when I mentioned this deal, slagged off O2 and said I should question where they were getting these phones from.
EE retention really doesnt seem much better than what a new customer gets and didn't offer me anything remotely interesting at all.
therefore you get charged from date of order
regardless of whether you use it or not.
Battery life is always dependent on your settings as well so I'd like to think I'd manage it well.
Also, to be honest if I do need extra battery life - Anker provide suitable power accessories.
Here's hoping the experience is a good one. At the end of the day, I'm only paying £19pm more for a brand new phone (factor in the £75 upfront fee and it's still a good deal).
Hopefully the moving of Android based stuff to the iPhone will be seamless...
Ordered mine yesterday and got it today with the discount and the £50 from Mazuma deal.
have some more heat
Edit: Now unlocked - see new post here: http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/iphone-6s-64gb-o2-4g-100-off-using-code-blacknov15-unlimited-calls-texts-3gb-data-2319260?p=26459284
I ordered Space grey yesterday, received 2 emails this morning that it is out of stock. I called them in the afternoon and said that why it is showing in stock on your website when it is actually not. They said they are expecting more stock soon. I just received another email about an hour ago that they have dispatched the phone already.
Try and give them a call tomorrow morning. You can have their contact number in original post
What do you exactly get for your £5/month ?
"Get amazed that people will get incredibly advanced expensive smartphones and then get 100mb data £5 SIM only deals, like having a huge people carrier and then only ever driving it with just you in it. I think I'll stick with my cheap contractless unlimited data deal *wink emoji*"
You'll probably come back and say "we'll actually X and Y isn't true because...." But I'm just doing what you've done.
EDIT: DO NOT DO THIS, IT APPEARS THIS TRICK NO LONGER WORKS!!!
I can only use this in the future for purchases off the site? As credit on the website? Or will I get the money to my account/ cheque?
The £50 mazuma code: will it go towards any further purchases in the future (phones, accessories etc) or will it be credited from this deal (first bill?)
To confirm you can pay to upgrade to refresh
Decent price I would say
What minutes / data etc
Some people use more than 200 minutes etc
Thanks OP!

Mobiles.co.uk
The phone will be dispatched the same or next day and will arrive with a sim on the following day. On O2 chat I got them to switch to my old number which takes 24 hours to take effect. Just have to get the PAC code from your old provider. That's it. Great deal, thanks OP and good luck to everyone who gets it. Have a great holiday!
Cracking deal thanks Op!!!
iPhones lock to the first sim card you put in, but apparently Three's sim card leaves the phone unlocked. Anybody tried? or how long before o2 will unlock for us?
PS. I made this just for you.

shame its o2 though
Good luck to those who have ordered
Received next email this morning at 08:30 saying its out of stock.
Received another email at 11:20 confirming that it is out of stock and no date of stock availability.
Then I called customer services. The lines are too busy that I had to keep on hold for 20 minutes. Then an advisor took my call and told me that it will be delivered to me by Monday. Let's see!!
If you live in a relatively urban town or city you should be OK. However you will find that if you're travelling between towns and cities O2 will only provide you with GPRS out in the sticks.
I had delivery of my phone today but I still don't have the £50 voucher from Mazuma (I defini went through the link). When did others get their Mazuma voucher?
Cheers
The code is in that email
"Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience however, your order for the Apple iPhone 6s 64GB Space Grey is now out of stock and we don't have a date when it will be next available. We are working hard to secure stock for your order, so there's no need for you to do anything. We'll be back in touch as soon as we have an update."
We will update you again within 7 days so there is no need to contact us.

Just got this email, im not sure if they have cancelled my order or delayed it? Does anyone know? Thanks
3 pay monthly sim for £17 is basically my only option.
Due to high demand this is out of stock so we are unable to send the order out to you. We are sorry for the delay and thank you for your patience.
