Clarification for people who are confused.. recommended retail price (RRP) of a product is the price which the manufacturer recommends that the retailer sell the product.. LG the manufacturer has set a RRP much higher (£400+) than the Google Play (the retailer in this case) prices..

For anyone wondering why you have been charged for the device but it has not shipped il explain.
You bought the phone from Google for £288
The £288 is charged to your payment card and google would have received an authorization code from your bank. This allows them to request the money from your bank.
In the mean time your bank puts £288 into a suspense account where it sits pending from 3-5 days
Since google wont actually charge you until it ships they money shows off your available £££ in your bank account but it has not been claimed by google as they havent shipped your phone
So after 3-5 days. If your phone hasnt shipped £288 will fall back into your account.
Then when the phone ships the £288 will be processed again and this time google will clime the money and you will see £288 Google play order on your transactions list for your bank.
This is quite an american way of doing things as its taken you are paying by credit card. Even the play store asks what credit card you want to pay with.
If you had paid with a credit card they transaction would go through just the same but you wouldnt notice the £288 being put into the pending state as its not YOUR money your being restricted to accessing it would only be £288 of credit available.
Its more down to the fact its always been advised to use a credit card on the play store and pretty much the norm for americans to pay for most on a credit card where as here in the uk we use our debit cards more which is why this happens.
If you see in about 3-5 days the funds will become avail again unless google ship the phone, in which case you will see the payment on your statement

Yesterday I went from 12pm to 5pm to midnight for restock times. All of them passed without it happening.....
Where has the supposed £248.99 price tag come from? No mention in the article you linked to and Google Play shows the normal £279 price, even converting the $350 screen cap in the article to GBP is about £222.
Did you make that up for heat?

I'd love one, but why does there have to be talk of a new version cropping up at MWC, it's less than a month away.........
Hopefully it's only a white version (pictures are around) and will suit chavs/ those who secretly harbour some degree of racism; but if its a version with 32gb or an sd card slot....is it worth waiting to see?
The price of the Nexus 7 dropped after the larger capacity version was released, maybe it will be the same for the N4??

30 Jan 13#22
That's the trouble with technology. You'll always find something better and faster is released not far after you've made your purchase.
As for the rumoured N4 v2, I would imagine it would be higher storage options and the activation of the currently dormant 4G chip.

I broke mine, Google directed me to LG. You wait for a letter from LG with postage details, you send it off to LG, wait upto 10 working days for a quote in the post, agree the cost, you pay for the repair, then wait for the phone to be returned. They quoted £60 to £100 to replace the screen verbally, I am waiting the written quote. Oh, if you do not like their quote, it will cost you upto £25 to get the broken handset back. A very long winded process if you ask me!! Apparently, they do not do emails to speed up the process!!!!

Well the S3 does everything the N4 does so no point in upgrading, they are in the same class.

I will give my experience of this phone and service from Google for anyone on the fence.
I bought one on launch form the play store, It was a cluster£$%^ from the start due to backorders etc but i forgave that anyway for the massive demand they saw for this.
Anyway it arrived the first week in Dec and through the worst possible courier in my opinion.
TNT they are £$&%*£* useless. Both phone and bumper came in bags that were torn to hell and taped back up by TNT. The N4 box was crushed and trying to get them to deliver to anywhere but the address on the delivery note is not going to happen as the company Google use for distribution will only allow them to deliver to the original address.
Anyway the device came and it was damaged no doubt through the abuse it was subjected to at TNT.
I waited a month for a returns bag and at that I couldn't hand it into the TNT office as it needed to go through a booking process over the phone even although everything is pre paid and bag provided from TNT and costs covered by google.
Long story short phone is awesome. Google could not be more helpful although you have to speak to the Customer service in the US so they dont really know what happens in the UK.
Google dont really care about the 28days return etc as long as you log a call with them to return the item before the deadline they will happily refund the money once the device is received back to the supplier or distribution (depending if you want a replacement or refund)
so
Google service = Awesome
Nexus 4 = awesome phone
TNT = no customer service, unhelpful and potentially careless with items.
You wont find another device close for this price and even with all the previous heartache and headache through TNT I have once again to place an order and hopefully I will get this one in one piece.

I find this story very hard to believe. I have read it twice and it still seems to lack veracity. Are you really trying to convince us that TNT actually DELIVERED something to you? Really?
Years of bitter experience have taught me that TNT's usual modus operandi is to lose all despatches in transit and then to take weeks 'investigating' before denying all knowledge. I think you made this all up. There is no way you could have got your phone from them in whatever state of repair. Even if you got down on your knees and cried and begged.

Also ive had 2 s3's die on me. they just stop charging and won't turn on so worried mine will do that again. plus like the nexus devices get the updates first. Can sell my s3 for £350- £400 anyway.
Kenneth131
30 Jan 13#139
Yeah this phone is awesome because some components are above that of the Samsung GS3. others are on par. The price however is that of a mid range smartphone not the high end device it is. So you have an amazing phone more than capable of rivaling all modern high end devices for a superb price point.
Plus as its a nexus you know it will get around a 2 year upgrade path from google not an oem who will customize the android os and possibly never release the latest build for your phone.
Down side mobile world congress is acoming and in about a month you will have all the latest 2013 phones flaunted in your face but you have to remember although these WILL be better than anything at the moment most wont be available until July August and have a price point around the £500 + mark.
so the nexus is a case where you get more than what you pay for which is rare

First two times that these were released I was definitely going to get one, especially as I had the Nexus S before.
(Ps to folk saying how you get the great updates, and support over a longer time, well the Nexus S was supported for just 2 years from release, the 4.1.2 update was confirmed as the last, so yes Nexus did get the update WELL before S2, but both have had support for approx 2 years....Also 4.1.2 I find to be quite sluggish on the Nexus S, but very smooth on the S2)
Really doesn't appeal to me at all now. Got my S2 for £170, it's on 4.1.2, really impressed with it.
The Nexus 4 doesn't appear to be the great bargain it did a couple of months ago. It is good, but with limitations. To me the 16gb model is basically a £300 phone, at best, so the price is not that amazing.

The lack of stock is a surefire way to create a FAR bigger demand than the item would usually carry, so, in my conspirical mind, Google have outdone themselves in generating huge amounts of publicity and demand, simply by them being 'out of stock'...
The more you can't have something, the more you want it! Even if you didn't really want it in the first place...

Google service is woeful, in my experience.
Ordered a Google Nexus 7 in November - they quoted 3-5 working days for delivery. Nothing after 7 w/days so contacted them (on a Thursday). They blamed US Thanksgiving hols for the delay & told me it should be with me the next morning, or Monday at the VERY latest. (Even though the device was being dispatched from Dublin) Needless to say, nothing arrived.
Phoned again the next Wednesday to be told the couriers must have lost it... and that I should try to track it down with them!
I reminded them that my purchase contract was with Google, not the couriers, so they were responsible for getting the goods to me, not vice versa. They then stated they would cancel the original order - provided I signed a Consent Form for the original device to be 'deactivated'. This would mean waiting for the form to be posted to me, completing it and posting it back to them before they would re-order a new one - which would take... another 3-5 working days for delivery!. They refused to take any further action or expedite delivery until this process was done.
So they were told to stick it & I went to Currys and bought something else.
3 weeks later a card from a courier arrived at my door telling me no-one was home when they tried to deliver it that day & how to collect it. Promptly binned.
Another lost sale. They really need to up their game.

I love mine to bits, had a HTC One X before that and downgrades are obviously the screen, camera and 32GB on the HOX, however this is all made up with the software. Nexus devices will get the latest software updates and no need to wait around for OEMs to update their devices. I though I would miss Sense but the customisations of stock android are very decent, and may alternatives to make up for the loss of Sense. Space for me is not an issue as I make use of the cloud solutions, why keep everything on the phone chances are you'd lose it or it'd get stolen always makes sense to back up everything to the cloud and locally.
Good price, good phone, sure 2013 phones are around the corner but prices will be much higher than this. And we will get Key Lime Pie sooner rather than later!

Lol. My order doubled as I refreshed when I thought the system had crashed. I sent a cancellation email straight away and got this reply:
"At this point it is no longer possible to cancel this order. Your order is processed shortly after your purchase is complete. Our expedited order fulfillment process ensures that packages are delivered quickly, which also means that there is a very short window of time to cancel an order prior to our shipping provider moving forward with delivery."

I moved from HTC Sensation to N4, battery life is miles better. With HTC S, I went from green to yellow battery in the first couple of hours. A few videos, photos, facebook, emails and a couple of calls would drain the battery. With the N4 I took about 20 photos, 5 videos at a concert, fb, calls and even an hour playing music and still had half the battery by night time.
I have suffered from a cracked screen though and have sent it off to LG for repair (hopefully will cost about £140 or less!!) they esitmate £60 to £100. Very brittle phone!!!!

Not at the moment, 4G plans are expensive and pointless. Once 4G becomes the standard and unlimited data is offered, then it'll be useful. Because at the moment the kind of usage that 4G requires will go over your monthly data allowance in about 5 minutes.

OMG the Nexus fever strikes again. I hope Google don't make a mass of it this time.
Got one last time round. Very good phone if you consider the price. My main concern was battery life - it is acceptable. Coming from a 2000mAh Galaxy S2 it was a bit of a let down. But the phone easily lasted through a the day if I mostly used wi-fi. On 3g modem it was slightly worse. And heavy use depleted the battery rather quickly.
Vanilla Android is a little disappointing as well. I missed the samsung dialer and capacitive buttons plus the physical home button.
Sold mine eventually and kept the Samsung.

I'm not too sure how long i've had my sensation, probably nearly 2 years i think. I was considering getting an IPhone 4S late last year but obviously seeing as they've been superseeded by the 5 i don't think i'll bother. Also thought about a galaxy s3, but they seem quite dear and the size of the device puts me off slightly. As i say if i can sell my sensation i'm going to seriously consider getting one of these.

I would like to point out any issues with shipping times and delivery are not handled in any way by Google in the UK. If you have an issue with your order etc etc your best bet is to call Google support and talk to them.
The way Delivery & returns are handled in the US and UK are COMPLETLY different.
UPS offer a great service over in the states. In the UK TNT and a 3rd party distribution company deal with all shipping and returns.
So you place your order. It then goes on a spreadsheet style system which goes to the distributer ( i cant remember the name just now)
They handle many large companies stock however so google is not their only priority.
once they recieve all the orders they work through them in batches to get them to TNT who then deliver
Google simply have the payment system and order service.
so before slating google look to the ones actually handling the stock.
Goose74 - I have an HTC Desire (running cyanagen mod 7). What do people think - is it worth the upgrade?

Kenneth131
30 Jan 13#249
lol last years spec. Indeed it toped or matched that of high end devices which were out last year but even if new devices are anounced at MWC in feb you will be looking at launch about july august and with a heafty price tag to match.
So absolutly there will be newer greater tech this year but with a much higher price point. In tech terms the year runs from Q3 year 1 to Q2 year two, not from January to Feb.
Some companies like apple and google set aside seperate launch events which usually run about August time,
plus the nexus was only released 3 months ago so its not old by any means.
also people moaning about support the support time on any mobile is 2 years regardless of manufacturer. Thats the support time that is set out. If they feel they can easily or inexpensivly continue beyond this where there is a need they might well do so but its a guide line minimum of 2 years. so no manufacturer or Software company is better than any other in this respect as its industry wide

Kenneth131
30 Jan 13#251
The white one will be anounced wether its carrier exclisive will be another matter.
One thing to note I hear people saying the screen bezel is black on the white version and thus is a lazy way to make a white handset, This is true as it means very little change to the production line.
But the other reason this is done is and you can check this all you want, a white bezel often does not look as uniform when watching a movie etc as it gives you a white border around the display, it catches the users eye and also has the illusion of a smaller screen.
I only know this through work i have done with some mobile companies. Apple dont seem to bother with this and to my mind yes I think a fully white phone looks lovely but when using one especially in daylight it does glare abit and distract you from the screen.
So thats why the front will be black chose of which you will as being the real reason. I like to think a bit of both.
It does however at pressent have black buttons. I really would hope this changes in final production otherwise it might as well have a star wars logo on it and call it a stormtrooper

If your happy with the note keep it. Its still a cracking capable device and over on XDA developers site there are plenty of custom roms which you could run which will make the note feel like a whole new device again.
If you are willing to take the hit on the £100 for this then you know you will have a device to last 2 years minimum if your inclined to stick with it should you like it for that length of time.
Its still not perfect but then nothing ever will be otherwise they wouldnt have anything to sell you in a years time. it is however a cracking device but its a different demographic to the note so depends on needs and wants

To put this into perspective for those who have no idea why this 'deal' is so hot: cpw is selling the exact same phone for 450.
Kenneth131
30 Jan 13#273
Also all the talk of no 4G I would like to point out that if your with EE and have a 4G contract this obviously wont be your choice of phone as a primary device but if you dont yet have a 4G plan then why worry about it not having 4G.
4G is still 2 years away from being anywhere near an affordable rival to 3G and the incrediable speeds will slow when more traffic picks up as well as being restricted by allowance caps or download limits.
So if you want to pay for it fine but if like most you would cry at the price of 4G just now or the download limits imposed, by the time it is a viable alternative to 3G and offers the likes of GiffGaff pricing and no limits you will be on your next phone anyway which will have lte
So no 4G. Dont sweat it. It would cost a fortune to run and limits restrict how much you could use it to its potential
Mark43 to Kenneth131

They can put the RRP at what they like what they sell it for can be anything either side. Its just a recommended retail price not the price this must be sold at and as pointed out CPW are selling this phone for £450. Google dont make the phone LG do and they set the price google chose to sell it cheaper.

Mark43
30 Jan 13#285
Google music is great. Yep you're screwed if you have no data access, though obviously you can still keep a reasonable amount of music on your device if you want, the capacity may not be great bit its also not that tiny.
Its not really worth all the debate, if you really don't think 16GB is enough and are not happy with the streaming solution then this simply isn't the phone for you. However if you are fine with it, then its a great phone for the money.

8GB is not enough for people like me who like their apps, just having a couple of apps, and 1 or 2 big games (1GB+) and it quickly goes, even if you are using play music for cloud streaming. Cloud streaming isn't the best though, because I personally do not have an unlimited data plan, and what if i want to listen to music and have no reception for internet... I'm not convinced that cloud storage can replace physical storage, I just find it a nice feature for people using multiple devices, i like sharing files between my phone, tablet and laptop in cloud storage

Another point to make - I think 4G will only be genuinely useful once battery life gets to the level where it needs to be, i.e. you can use all functions on a phone for a full day or two without having to charge. There's no point streaming videos online on your phone with 4G if the battery is dead within half a day because the screen and connectivity being turned on drains the battery. At present this is a major problem with all top end smartphones - battery tech hasn't advanced enough, whereas the rest of the tech is constantly advancing.

I wish google would reverse thecompanies manufacturing the tabs. Samsung are far better for 7" tablets, as their 10" are plagued by issues due to the nasty cheap plastic. Asus on the other hand have lead the 10" android space since they entered it.

Also guys, avoid giffgaff. Data speeds are very poor, and the network is always down or experiencing issues.
Virgin are far better, and have superior coverage as they use orange/tmob masts as opposed to crappy O2.
I live in northern england, a place no one acknowledges as being part of the country, and i still manage 11mbps down, 4 up on the outskirts of sunderland, as opposed to O2's 3mbps down.
Also, virgin allow for unlimited tethering on their unlimited data plans, where as giffgaff do not.

I managed to purchase the phone when the second batch was released. I have to say Google were completely unprepared for the launch and failed to address issues properly or put proper systems into place.
The main thing is the phone, which is to be honest a very good phone, especially considering the price. The phone is extremely quick and I have had no issues with my phone, showing that LG has fixed any hardware faults reported. I would recommend the 8GB to those who will use it primarily for just calls and texts, a few apps and pictures as well as they dont take up much space. The 16GB is perfect for me as I dont keep movies or music on my phone. The battery life is also excellent for me, lasting me two days. As for the camera, I am not a professional photographer, so to me this is still an 8MP camera.
This phone might not appeal to everyone but since when does everyone have the same requirements or needs. For me this phone is brilliant and it is packed with many features also offering first hand updates straight from Google. The best thing about Android is that it is totally customisable, so if you dont like something, you can find and change things so it will be exactly how you want.

at the risk of sounding repetitivetive, checkout the xiaomi mi2. One of the main reasons I got it is because it is smaller (about 1cm shorter), cheaper and with some better features (otg, removable battery, with a larger 3000mAh alternative, among other cool stuff)

Yep, I loved them at first too. After a year I got sick of service dropouts and signal issues, and they refused to give me a PAC code. Had to quibble for weeks before they'd give me one.
Virgin have been around for a while now, and aside from the well known teething problems they had with iPhone 5 network settings causing dropouts (grrrr apple), its been superb now its fixed. One thing i've noticed, is that the phone considers the network link to be LTE enabled, even though its not. Still, the faster HSPA+ connection rivals the US LTE speeds at 11mbps. Well chuffed.
Edit: after a wee bit researching, it appears my phone defaults to EE's 4G services (even though we dont have 4G here), not sure if this is the norm with Virgin, or if its a mistake.
Offering £335 cash for a new 16gb at the moment, probably start to drop though

Dunno about the 4g stuff, but with my virgin sim I can sit on the top of the bus, with the hotspot turned on, watching tvcatchup on the s2, and browsing the Internet on my iPod touch (5th gen), and both smooth as funk.

Any good heavy duty cases? Dust protection, etc. Something that is able to wrap around the edges of a screen protector at least would be a necessity for what my one will be used for.
I've seen enough fugly purple cases or ones with embarassing designs on the back to do me for a lifetime at this stage.
I sold my December 16gb earlier this month to CEX for £310. Was a better and faster option than trying to get a refund from Google.

Keep it, seriously.
The S3 has removable storage, a better camera, OTG support and uses the cheaper, more common MHL connection for TV-out.
The Nexus 4 is marginally better in the CPU & GPU areas but not enough that you'd notice and IPS vs OLED is moot.
I'm happy with my Nexus 4 but I wouldn't go to the effort of replacing an S3 with it.

m.ad to zermattbusby
31 Jan 131#446
They may say they don't have the money in the till, and say they can't do it. Or, they will say it is not Grade A, and give you a lower price (although if it is sealed it would be difficult to argue!!)
You can always do the trade with CEX online, although you will need to pay P&P and again, if they classify it at a lower grade, your stumped
Saying that though, I have traded many games with them in the past both in store and online, and found it relatively hassle free
willyvwade to zermattbusby
31 Jan 131#447
Pretty much, but only for the first few people who get to the store, since they'll only take X number of handsets for cash (If you want something instore, they'll offer trade all day).
In my local stores, the N4 is the most wanted handset, so they'll probably take a lot unless the stores managers have seen that these are in stock for real this time.
pete1993 to zermattbusby
31 Jan 131#450
Most stores now have the ability to pay you via BACS, so it's unlikely you'll be declined on that basis.
Just wait in the queue (up to 30mins in my local), they put it through the tills, give it a Grade A as it's brand new and put it in for a test. Before the new system came in, you had to then return after 1-6 hours after it had been tested to collect the cash, if your store has BACS, they will put the payment through when they finish testing, so you don't need to come back.
Really is that simple, the BACS takes 3-4 days to come through, but it does come through. :stuck_out_tongue:

15:10 order - no dispatch to west London
I ordered in December but cancelled as was fed up of waiting. It seemed back then that if you ordered after a certain time the order numbers reset and were lower than people who ordered the minute it became available, so people who ordered later got their phones first. So, for a 15:10 order the last set of numbers in my order number are 1521327627855379.
To test the theory, can someone with a dispatch note who ordered after 15:10 (if any) provide the last part of their order number to compare?

Folks, need some honest opinion here..
I'm an iPhone user. I've had an iPhone since the first 2G one, then 3G, then 4, currently iPhone 5 (regrettable "upgrade"). I hate Apple as a company, the way they operate, the stupidly overpriced devices, and yet - I buy their products. Well, I buy the iPhone anyway. I love iOS and I find it second nature. I've used Android before, many times. I've tried and wanted so badly to like it more than iOS, but I just can't get on with it. I just don't feel Android is as user-friendly, as streamlined, as smooth as iOS. Android just feels like an inferior quality in comparison with iOS.
Now, I'm yet to experience Jellybean or Google's Nexus branded devices. Please, can someone (hopefully someone who's been in my shoes) tell me the honest truth. Is this Google Nexus 4 any different from Samsung's, HTC's or Motorola's devices? Price aside, let's imagine the iPhone 5 is £400 and the Google Nexus 4 is £400 also, would they be considered comparable in user-friendliness and functionality? I hope this is the device that will make me finally bid farewell to Apple. That said, not having iMessage or Facetime is going to cause issues..
But I think you will find that even this phone and Jelly Bean are not quite as polished as iPhone. The third party apps are of a slightly higher quality - but we are now getting to the point where the difference is marginal.
pdug175 to qwerta369
31 Jan 131#499
You wont be disappointed , I have the nexus s which is basically the 2nd release of the google phone, whereas the nexus 4 is the 4th incarnation. This runs vanilla android so no unnecessary bloat. Jelly bean run very smooth on my old handset so I'd imagine its lightening quick on this new device. You will also be getting OS updates before any other handsets.
homerj1977 to qwerta369
31 Jan 132#515
I've always been an android fan, but even I'll admit the OS hasn't always been the best looking or smoothest. Other launchers have helped in this respect, but still not perfect.
Jellybean is something different altogether. It's beautiful, modern and ridiculously smooth, whereas I think iOS now looks stale and dated.
I can't recommend the N4 enough, certainly at that price, but each to thier own
Mark43 to qwerta369
31 Jan 13#517
I can't comment on previous versions of android as this is the first I've used, but coming from an iPhone 4 I'm really happy with it. I find it just as easy to use as iOS and had become tired and bored of that OS anyway. Also I don't really like Apple and always said to myself I'd switch when the competition caught up, which they have.
m.ad to qwerta369
31 Jan 13#529
I am in a similar boat - iPhone 4 user, tried the Galaxy SII but could not get on with it so sold it, then worked for a company that provided me with a 4S and iPad, further entrenching me into the Apple ecosystem which I want to break away from.
When I had the Galaxy SII I felt that the interface wasn't as smooth as my iPhone, which was a major reason for selling it and reverting back to the older device. I think it was the combination of the Android version (Gingerbread) and Samsungs TouchWiz interface that put me off.
I haven't had any hands-on time with the Nexus 4, but I did give the Nexus 7 a quick go on display at Tesco, and the interface has come a long way since Gingerbread. Stock Android and "Project Butter" seem to have made all the difference, so I have high hopes that I can finally start moving away from iOS.
My advice would be to try and find a Nexus 4, 7 or 10 on display in a shop somewhere and have a quick play. Larger Tesco, HMV or Carphone Warehouse stores would be good places to start. I know that some Android devices have extra features (removable battery / MicroSIM / OTG) but for someone coming from iOS, will they really be needed yet? My main reason for getting the Nexus is to at least start moving away from iOS and begin to build a relationship with Android. Otherwise I will start buying more apps for iOS which will make it harder to break away as time goes on.
PS, regarding FaceTime and iMessage? Skype and WhatsApp are two examples of alternatives that come to mind as replacements
Am I the only one who doesn't bother with cases and screen protectors on my phones?

But still completely not sure what to do, i can either sell my s3 for 250 quid and keep the nexus, or sell the nexus to CEX, but like alot of people are saying CEX might not be paying 344 (I have made an account and set up a sale of a nexus 4 already just in case, you get five working days to get it to them for that price) im so confused right now!!!!

I've also been using iPhones since day one and as much as I still like it I just fancied a change. I had a chat with a friend who had the S3 and I then played around with this in the shop for a while and thought it was pretty poor. The stuff Samsung have stuck over the top of Android feels cheap and not at all intuitive, coming from an iPhone. I then went into the o2 store yesterday and had a play with the Nexus 4 and it felt so much smoother than the S3 so I've gone ahead and purchased one. Looking forward to receiving it.

I'd say there is a good chance it will be on its way soon, they tend to just stick the longest estimate on it, and its pretty common for nothing to update until its on its way.

They reserve the money on your card but don't actually take it until they ship, not quite sure what the difference is really unless the fact they've only reserved it means you don't pay interest on it until it's actually taken

To be honest you're going to have your own criteria for what you want out of a phone, and only you know what yours are. If you're interested in buying one, check the reviews on the internet.
I'm really tempted to get a Nexus 4 even though I have a Galaxy S3 currently. I'd prefer stock Android without rooting, but I'm concerned about the lack of storage and possible battery drain issues.

Kenneth131
31 Jan 13#578
Yep as mentioned Google don't handle the shipping or distribution in the UK its a third party company
They are a huge distribution company with many large names of tech on the books so deal with orders in batches
Nothing against Google but as this is the case phoning them won't help as they honestly have no idea and not their fault its all handled by another company in the UK.
The run dispatch in batches and hence why you get a wave of phones sent at the same time
Once its shipped from there your Google wallet transaction will change from pending to a paid transaction with a TNT reference. Which may or may not mean anything to TNT as mentioned they reuse tracking numbers but it will have shipped at this point
You will get a dispatched email from Google though at this time also
tom6195

So if I fill this form out now, get to the store later and they don't have enough cash or price has changed, I just ship them to CEX direct?

Kenneth131
31 Jan 13#581
OK as promised here is the company that is used for distribution in the UK so people can stop blaming Google for any delays. Being informed is half the problem so let me enlighten you all.
To be fair people can still complain about Google if they're unhappy. They've placed an order with Google, if Google then use a distributor that does a poor job then Google are still ultimately responsible.

hi did u get a despatch email
zermattbusby
31 Jan 13#585
If I had one in hand I would take it to store, I would only post it to CeX as a last resort, for the following reasons :
a) You pay the postage (6 quid RMSD)
b) Will they agree its in the condition you say it is
c) If you send it sealed they'll probably open it and say its not new
Better really to deal face to face imo
Kenneth131
31 Jan 13#586
Definitely mark. I totally agree I was getting more at those that don't know and get frustrated that they have yet to receive an email without knowing the chain of events and how the whole process works which will kind of cause some people unease that they seemingly have money taken with no idea what's going on so once you understand the chain of events it can pit your mind at ease.
I do agree however googles choice of partner for this was possibly not the best given who they partner with for delivery etc so fair comment mark

Yes. Your quote on the website is valid for 5 working days, as long as it gets there by the 6th day they should honour the price.
As with any high price item, I would ship recorded as a precaution should item get lost in the post (never happened to any games I have sent to CEX but ya never know). I only ever had one issue with sending a game to CEX, when I sent a game as sealed but it wasn't (my mistake). However, I got a phone call quoting the reduced price, I wasn't happy with the new price so they sent the game back to me free of charge. Whether or not they do this with phones I am not sure

I regretted getting the 16GB model for £40 extra (or 21% premium if you like) at first, but in the end, it comes down to convenience and resale value.
I'm intending to keep the phone for 12-18 months, £40 over 18 months is just a little over £2/month.
Whilst Google Music allows me to store thousands of songs in the Cloud, I don't always have access to perfect coverage where streaming high quality music is viable. That's not very inconvenient if you don't have many albums or want to store only a few on your device.
I hardly store any videos and photos can be uploaded to a Dropbox/Box account on the go. By the way, a few weeks ago I was able to get 50 GB free lifetime account with Box by registering the phone, not sure if that deal is still on the table, though.
The only real problem are apps, mainly games, that can often go into GBs these days, and the sizes increase every year. I already have only 5.17GB free space available and that is without storing anything large on the device, besides a few games.
If you root and make a backup of the system+data, it's easily 2GB. Photos and videos taken with the phone can easily go to 1-2GB in no time at all. You should always have a little space storing music locally and apps will usually take a few GBs, depending on what games you install and how you use your phone. I also flash a lot of ROMs, which themselves are usually around 200 MB large, so having some extra storage for that is a must.
Case in point, the 16GB model for me makes sense in the long run. I don't have to worry about the storage, even though I have most of my games and videos (not porn, mostly TV shows) stored on my Nexus 7 tablet.
The real free storage on the 16GB N4 is around 12.92 GB whereas the 8GB has around 5.67 GB of free space. That's almost 130% more storage for 21% increase in cost, which I felt was justified in the end. If my use was any different, I'd go with Cloud services and spent that £40 on a good night out or new IEMs.
Hope that helps anyone who's still wondering which version to get of this incredibly well priced device.

Well they said it would be delivered in 1-2 weeks, not that they would operate a strictly first-come-first-served system - so I think, as long as you do receive it in the 1-2 weeks you agreed to, then you have nothing to complain about.

It is a two day delivery once your phone has been despatched. I got mine a few hours after the confirmation email a month ago.
However, if it said that the phone is out of stock and it will likely be despatched within 1 or 2 weeks, that's when you should expect to get it and not any time sooner.

As mark says above its only been a day and shipping was 1-2 weeks. Its not been 1-2 weeks so if you bought it on the premise you would get it sooner then that was wishful thinking on your behalf. Some people have got theirs and great it shows they are dealing with orders. If you didnt get yours then you still have until the 13th of feb to get a dispatch note. If by then you dont get one sure call up and get the £9,99 refund on shipping or cancel your order.
The orders are dealt with in batches by C2000 so how they process these is up to them nothing to do with google. Google just put your order on a spreadsheet in order of time purchased and it is sent to C2000 for shipping. How and when they do this is up to them.
I know the reason there was a hold up the last time was nothing to do with phone stock levels but the fact C2000 ran out of pre paid TNT shipping labels for the google play account so had to wait on TNT delivering a new batch lol laughable I know but should they have used another courier im sure things would have been smoother
bigpappa
31 Jan 131#621
This is what happens when margins get driven to ridiculously low levels. C2000 has a model based on rubbish level service and thus wins the bids to manage the order processing. Companies like HP don't like to deal with storage and warehousing as some MBA / Consultant told them its not a core competency to they just contract it out to the lowest bidder which is C2000.

Clarification for people who are confused.. recommended retail price (RRP) of a product is the price which the manufacturer recommends that the retailer sell the product.. LG the manufacturer has set a RRP much higher (£400+) than the Google Play (the retailer in this case) prices..
Note: the handset utilises a micro-sim card!

In the meantime, those of us on this site who understand the dictionary definition of a deal (e.g. A bargain) shall carry on with our day.

Did you make that up for heat?
edit : ok ok - becasue the article says so..
As for the rumoured N4 v2, I would imagine it would be higher storage options and the activation of the currently dormant 4G chip.
If you buy a white phone you're either a chav or a racist? I bet you vote Labour.
Very true, but for the sake of a few weeks i'm almost tempted to wait. If it says delivery within 2-4 weeks then i think that might sway the decision too.
Do you know what a deal is? It's RRP right.......
In the meantime, those of us on this site who understand the dictionary definition of a deal (e.g. A bargain) shall carry on with our day.
So, to boost sales I'm setting the RRP at £2.50. I hear you're looking for a helicopter. Do we have a deal?
Im hanging on for the white one. Hopefully it night also be 32gb.
The phone has recently come into stock in US/Germany.

Price will prob go down as they are being sold again though!
ordered 2 well worth the money. Now time to sell the my iPhone 4
I hope this advanced news helps some people.
According to a good source (Android Police) the Nexus 4 will be back in stock in the UK Play store at 3pm today (January 30th).
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/01/29/heads-up-nexus-4-should-be-back-in-stock-in-uk-france-spain-and-australia-play-stores-january-30th31st/
Here's the link to the 8GB £239 version:

Even though the Z will be about double the price
I sold my Xperia S and bought a Nexus4 and i'm overjoyed. It's an amazing phone, and I would have been happy to pay £450+ for it... (shhhsh, don't tell Google/LG).
N4 owner BTW.
It is meant to have a crazy battery and be "unbreakable" = sold for me!
PS. This is from a current RAZR i owner.. I have been more than impressed with the Motorola hardware quality!
Well as we don't know what the specs are of the S4 how can you say its not better? It will most certainly have a faster processor, a 1080p screen and a better camera which are the main features people pay for in a phone.
hence i suppose
Most likely LG have given Google an estimate when they can make enough phones to sell as they've had production issues.
We couldn't start your purchase because of a technical issue." Is anybody else experiencing this?
Sign up to Dropbox and get a 2GB account, set to automatically upload photos. Eventually you should earn an extra 5GB of space
SkyDrive has 7GB of free cloud storage
Thats 14GB of storage there, also consider Google Drive, Cubby, Box etc
That's why I bought a Samsung Galaxy Tab over a Nexus, and that's why my next phone won't be a Nexus.
Google, get with the bloody program, you're losing sales over one piddly thing most manufacturers consider a basic!
or.. use box.com, if you sign up using your nexus 4, you get 50GB for life!
And yes, I know 16GB is a lot of storage on a phone... but really, throwing everything else onto an online server just seems a total waste!
Am certain it will be excellent but don`t want to wait for more than 2 weeks for a phone to arrive, (bit cheeky to charge for delivery for a crap delivery service!)
I was concerned about the microSd slot at first as well but Google Music is excellent and I decided it is only a minor concern - still annoying though!
Anyone know any decent low cost sub £10 SIM only contracts for this?
Yeah TNT is horrible they lost my Nexus 4 back in December
How did you get on with that? did you get a replacement out quickly?
same way as u can change iphone battery.
dont ask me the details, just google it
(Ps to folk saying how you get the great updates, and support over a longer time, well the Nexus S was supported for just 2 years from release, the 4.1.2 update was confirmed as the last, so yes Nexus did get the update WELL before S2, but both have had support for approx 2 years....Also 4.1.2 I find to be quite sluggish on the Nexus S, but very smooth on the S2)
Stick with my S2 for now.
Memory is cheap, instant and simple.
They refunded me the money MINUS postage, despite not having to send me anything anymore.
Still sending them e-mails asking for a response.
In realityland that doesn't happen to everyone, hence people having 'budgets' they have to stick to.
Alien concept, I know!
Good price, good phone, sure 2013 phones are around the corner but prices will be much higher than this. And we will get Key Lime Pie sooner rather than later!
"At this point it is no longer possible to cancel this order. Your order is processed shortly after your purchase is complete. Our expedited order fulfillment process ensures that packages are delivered quickly, which also means that there is a very short window of time to cancel an order prior to our shipping provider moving forward with delivery."
Two weeks. That's their idea of quick delivery.
Anyone would think they were owned by Zavvi.
(I'm never in that much of a rush for anything anyway, which I guess is lucky lol)
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/crawfords-teatime-77-biscuits-variety-1-tesco-1449134?page=4#post17001855
With the 16gb one you get about 14 or 15 something I think.
I then tried to cancel my 2 original orders but received the following reply :
Thanks for contacting Google Play regarding cancellation of your order. All orders are processed directly after your purchase is complete. As a result, this means that there is a very short window of time to cancel an order prior to shipping.
Although we attempted to honor your request, we were unable to cancel your order in this window.
So if i'm to believe that it has already been shipped but i'm sceptical !
On top of the phones' cost of: £558 (16gb x2)
Is it worth getting one of these to replace my sensation?
You could sell your sensation ?
I have a custom ROM on it, ARHD but the nexus is very fast and battery is about double for me.
I have a anker battery but not that much improvement.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 on the other hand is about 20% better battery than the nexus, I've heard....
Hope this helps, PM if you need any more advice or help
I have suffered from a cracked screen though and have sent it off to LG for repair (hopefully will cost about £140 or less!!) they esitmate £60 to £100. Very brittle phone!!!!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2083745
Its worth the wait
Does anyone where I can get the sim credit back off my PAYG sim? I have £40 on one doing nothing.
Possibly a lot cheaper elsewhere, is a big seller in China apparently
And 2 days delivery for £9.99, RMSD is less than that for next day b4 1pm
In two weeks this will be 'old' anyway, HTC bringing out a new flagship phone and S4 coming out soon too, but its a good phone for the price, I myself didn't want to spend £500 on a phone, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is still worth about 340 new, so this phone is more worth while.
I want in white now.
So tempted by this phone but having to steer well clear.... so much good spoiled by such small but vital issues.
Have plenty of time though  lol
Got one last time round. Very good phone if you consider the price. My main concern was battery life - it is acceptable. Coming from a 2000mAh Galaxy S2 it was a bit of a let down. But the phone easily lasted through a the day if I mostly used wi-fi. On 3g modem it was slightly worse. And heavy use depleted the battery rather quickly.
Vanilla Android is a little disappointing as well. I missed the samsung dialer and capacitive buttons plus the physical home button.
Sold mine eventually and kept the Samsung.
cheers
I'm not too sure how long i've had my sensation, probably nearly 2 years i think. I was considering getting an IPhone 4S late last year but obviously seeing as they've been superseeded by the 5 i don't think i'll bother. Also thought about a galaxy s3, but they seem quite dear and the size of the device puts me off slightly. As i say if i can sell my sensation i'm going to seriously consider getting one of these.
Google simply have the payment system and order service.
so before slating google look to the ones actually handling the stock.
cheers.
Only if you want a phablet and use your phone enough to find it too small and clumsy to use, which most obviously are.
I was going to wait for the xperia z, but at £550 I think I'll give it a miss
If you buy the plans for a hyperspeed rocket, build it, fly close enough to a black hole for a year by the time you return it will be several years later and you can buy the iphone Quantum or the N-Berry wearable Flux Socks.
Il just have to stick to buying old tech like this Nexus 4 though since I dont have any engineering experience. Damn
this is just the price google sell it for. If honda sold a Civic for £3000 opossed to Arnold Clark who sells it at £14000 would you not want to know when it was back in stock with Honda?
4G is still 2 years away from being anywhere near an affordable rival to 3G and the incrediable speeds will slow when more traffic picks up as well as being restricted by allowance caps or download limits.
So if you want to pay for it fine but if like most you would cry at the price of 4G just now or the download limits imposed, by the time it is a viable alternative to 3G and offers the likes of GiffGaff pricing and no limits you will be on your next phone anyway which will have lte
So no 4G. Dont sweat it. It would cost a fortune to run and limits restrict how much you could use it to its potential
Smilly Face
SD slot is worth it alone
The 3310 edges in the entertainment category, it has snake2 as standard.
Google sell them for under the rrp
Brilliant phone having been lucky enough to get one before Xmas. I am managing two days battery life with stock settings and where my desire hd just about did a day and that was with battery saver app installed to eek it out that far lol.
Its not really worth all the debate, if you really don't think 16GB is enough and are not happy with the streaming solution then this simply isn't the phone for you. However if you are fine with it, then its a great phone for the money.
While on a topic of storage, what is the actual capacity of the 16GBs? I ask this because after formatting and OS my iPhone 3g was around 14.5GB?
I have 5.69 GB free have about 100 apps/games on it and about 100 photos and 50 songs
I've coupled it with an three 30 day rolling contract that has UNLIMITED internet which is perfect for Google Play Music, plus unlimted texts and a few hundred minutes not that I use them... all for £10.49 per month after cash back. Three are also offering DC-HSPA which is twice the speed of normal HSPA+ so 4G really doesnt bother me, too over priced! (48mbps)
Phone arrived 13 days later
However many people who ordered 4 hours later (9pm) received theirs within two days
I've had the 16GB N4 since the last messed up orders, and I genuinely cant fault it aside from the slightly disappointing camera, though photosphere and little planets makes up for this a bit.
sd slot and removable battery are.
I phoned Google and they have no explanation and I cannot cancel 1 order even though phones have not been posted. Worst service ever, guess ill have to take it up with my bank. Google receipt even states "you will not be charged until you order has shipped".
personally i keep other content apart from music on my phone.. videos, zips, exe's,pdf's, etc etc,
guess it depends how you use it..
is a great phone for the money.. but consider the s3 lte (i personally like having physical home button as well)
for all those who have picked the nexus check out the
paranoid android rom on xda looks decent!
I believe you can cancel a transaction only if its in the first hour! stupid I know!
Has anyone got this Nilkin flip cover by any chance... any good?
Obviously different phones suit different peoples needs, I do like the SGS 3 but at nearly twice the price and the fact it has touchwiz... the SD slot doesnt appeal to me
Yeah there is a slight gap, though I think that's the case with all the screen protectors for this phone. The case does well to protect the phone
I'm not knocking it, I quite fancy this phone myself and am typing this on a nexus 7 but cloud storage is of no use to you when you're on holiday abroad with no WiFi or on a plane at 33000 feet.
If it does you can get a giffgaff micro from here: http://www.giffgaffmicro.co.uk
This will come with £5 credit if it helps anyone...
Uh oh. There was a problem.
We couldn't start your purchase because of a technical issue.
Details of the problem below:
Sorry, we were unable to process this request. Any charge will be automatically cancelled within 24 hours. Please try again after 24 hours.
Maybe try giving them a call.
From what I understand the older style 3G sims have a larger contact footprint (as mine was) and they can be a little tricky.
Plenty of people have had success in doing it though, cutters are about 3 quid on ebay
Some networks will issue one for free
T-Mobile / EE charge a tenner
(When I had this last month, the only way to get my account to make purchases if I sent them scans of photo ID and a bank statement! Ended up just purchasing using the Mrs account but with my payment details - figure that one out?!?)
Wow that gone up was only 99p on Sunday/Monday...I know I bought one
I cut mine and it was fine, I used the web to find a pic of new micro Sims and tried chopping mine with the same gaps
Alternatively I think you can get topcashback.
Bought an 8gb!
I wish google would reverse thecompanies manufacturing the tabs. Samsung are far better for 7" tablets, as their 10" are plagued by issues due to the nasty cheap plastic. Asus on the other hand have lead the 10" android space since they entered it.
Think ill cough up the extra few hundred quid for the excellent upcoming Sony phone and tab. Im becoming incredibly bored with ios. Would be even better if someone actually made a decent windows rt tablet.
And no, they are not always down or experiencing issues. There have been a couple of problems in the last couple of years, but generally great.
The Virgin deal is great as well though.
Google are a bunch of hypocrites. They are turning into the new Apple.
Theyre ugly, especially compared to this, and the screen quality is poor from the ones ive used. Plus those nasty software buttons make the screen feel cramped.
Maybe
I read that only 440,000 units, worldwide, were produced on that first / second batch, hence the "sold out in minutes" headlines.
When Apple / Samsung release a phone, they often have 5-6 million ready.
Rearth Ringke Slim Case for Google Nexus 4 - £13
Due in stock in 1 week from this This site £15.98 delivered. waaay better than bumper thing and a video review here
USB otg doesn't work on the nexus 4 unfortunately... Massive fuss on xda where its believed that's its due to a hardware limitation.
The best thing about Android is that it is totally customisable, so if you dont like something, you can find and change things so it will be exactly how you want.
it costs US$425.99 + DHL US$24.99 = US$449.99 = £285 + TAX ??
Virgin have been around for a while now, and aside from the well known teething problems they had with iPhone 5 network settings causing dropouts (grrrr apple), its been superb now its fixed. One thing i've noticed, is that the phone considers the network link to be LTE enabled, even though its not. Still, the faster HSPA+ connection rivals the US LTE speeds at 11mbps. Well chuffed.
Edit: after a wee bit researching, it appears my phone defaults to EE's 4G services (even though we dont have 4G here), not sure if this is the norm with Virgin, or if its a mistake.
http://uk.webuy.com/search/index.php?stext=Nexus+4&ispostback=1&mode=buy
Offering £335 cash for a new 16gb at the moment, probably start to drop though
GiffGaff really just seemed to give up a few months ago, so many cutouts, etc
I've seen enough fugly purple cases or ones with embarassing designs on the back to do me for a lifetime at this stage.
Willing to pay a premium for better protection.
Owners thread http://www.hotukdeals.com/ask/nexus-4-owners-thread-1393990 hopefully will be more active now more stock in.
If not, how much are they?
The S3 has removable storage, a better camera, OTG support and uses the cheaper, more common MHL connection for TV-out.
The Nexus 4 is marginally better in the CPU & GPU areas but not enough that you'd notice and IPS vs OLED is moot.
I'm happy with my Nexus 4 but I wouldn't go to the effort of replacing an S3 with it.
Official bumper still out of stock though :disappointed:
https://play.google.com/store/account
It should show the Nexus at the top of the list, with a Cancel link on the right

How odd!
You can always do the trade with CEX online, although you will need to pay P&P and again, if they classify it at a lower grade, your stumped
Saying that though, I have traded many games with them in the past both in store and online, and found it relatively hassle free
In my local stores, the N4 is the most wanted handset, so they'll probably take a lot unless the stores managers have seen that these are in stock for real this time.
I ordered at 3:02, 16GB model.
Going to clear my schedule for the morning so I can sit and bask in its heavenly glow.
nuts, wasn't expecting it for 2 weeks as per the site lol
Pretty sad that.
3:05:50 for a 16GB dispatched
3:10:40 for a 16GB not dispatched
If sunny ordered at 3:07 and didn't get a dispatch, it's likely orders placed in the first 6 minutes ish being sent out today.
To test the theory, can someone with a dispatch note who ordered after 15:10 (if any) provide the last part of their order number to compare?
http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=4822179
Received my device just before Xmas.
Picked it up after a 3 hour charge and the back shattered in my hand leaving cuts.
Apparently the shock from my cold hand (just came in from outside in the snow) triggered the glass to have a freak reaction.
Called Google Play (who are DIABOLICAL) and they arranged an RMA
TNT delivered my replacement to someone else.
Swear this has been the worst experience I have ever had lol
...sent from my nexus 4 :-D!
Jellybean is something different altogether. It's beautiful, modern and ridiculously smooth, whereas I think iOS now looks stale and dated.
I can't recommend the N4 enough, certainly at that price, but each to thier own
When I had the Galaxy SII I felt that the interface wasn't as smooth as my iPhone, which was a major reason for selling it and reverting back to the older device.
Hope that helps
My wife has an S3 which I think is great but the nexus is head and shoulders betters. The only things I find better about the samsung is a faster shutter speed (but the photo's are better on the Nexus) and the lack on expandle storage on the nexus. The nexus is better in every other way. If you can manage without the extra storage then sell you S3 and keep the nexus. It's seriously slick.
I finally got my order in, hope it comes quick now.
They may have sorted the stock issues..
I've well and truly fallen out of love with my iPhone 4 (now on my third '4', although whilst that is annoying, at least I can just book a slot at the local Apple store and get it replaced there and then very easily).
WP8 device for something fresh or this other Android device (only real alternative to the Nexus is the S3).
I may just order one and see how I get on with it I guess
Im going to give the Nexus a fair go and if i dont like it will just sell it on.
Same with my S3 will sell that too if i like the Nexus. The thing that bothers me is the price of any other phone i might want compared to this Nexus almost double.
An S4 is going to be what £499 + ?? I like the look of the Sony Xperia Z but thats £530 same as an iphone5.
This Nexus is just too good price to pass up on.
Anyone know, seems very random this?
thanks
Suz
the shipping date still 13th Feb and money hasn't been charged yet.
The one I've been using still has screen protectors on and has been in a case but the imei barcode has slightly worn away, do you think cex will still give £344 for it?
Did you just order it now?
I have been trying to order since past 30 mins
But it shows me a "technical error" message?
Anyone else get that?
I'm sure you can wait until yours arrives
Suz
So got 8GB in hand now, dont know what to do it ? CEX it or bay it
Arrrggg! Can't decide !
;-)
Ordered at 3:02:10 PM GMT / not shipped
Not to worried this time, I'm sure another batch of emails will appear this evening
Think last time shipping emails were sent out around 6pm onwards and delivered the following day
Trouble is I actually want one to keep lol do I order another before it sells out?
They are a huge distribution company with many large names of tech on the books so deal with orders in batches
Nothing against Google but as this is the case phoning them won't help as they honestly have no idea and not their fault its all handled by another company in the UK.
The run dispatch in batches and hence why you get a wave of phones sent at the same time
Once its shipped from there your Google wallet transaction will change from pending to a paid transaction with a TNT reference. Which may or may not mean anything to TNT as mentioned they reuse tracking numbers but it will have shipped at this point
You will get a dispatched email from Google though at this time also
So if I fill this form out now, get to the store later and they don't have enough cash or price has changed, I just ship them to CEX direct?

I have a feeling that they now have tonnes in stock - which means that the majority of people will receive them within 1-2 days of ordering.
a) You pay the postage (6 quid RMSD)
b) Will they agree its in the condition you say it is
c) If you send it sealed they'll probably open it and say its not new
Better really to deal face to face imo
I do agree however googles choice of partner for this was possibly not the best given who they partner with for delivery etc so fair comment mark
Hopefully everyone will get their phone soon. Its only been a day so don't panic people, even if others have theirs.
I am in the same boat as you, I'd have liked to have received mine today, I didn't - but I wont throw my toys out of the pram for another week.
However, if it said that the phone is out of stock and it will likely be despatched within 1 or 2 weeks, that's when you should expect to get it and not any time sooner.
Uh oh. There was a problem.
We couldn't start your purchase because of a technical issue.
Order Date: 30 January 2013 15:01:10 16 gb paid with a credit card if that makes any difference.
Google may deliver their orders via customer's name.
and sadly name surname start with Z.
Why didn't they just hide it in the cost of the device?
Nexus 4 8GB £249.00 inc free delivery
nexus 4 16GB £289.00 inc free delivery
The orders are dealt with in batches by C2000 so how they process these is up to them nothing to do with google. Google just put your order on a spreadsheet in order of time purchased and it is sent to C2000 for shipping. How and when they do this is up to them.
I know the reason there was a hold up the last time was nothing to do with phone stock levels but the fact C2000 ran out of pre paid TNT shipping labels for the google play account so had to wait on TNT delivering a new batch lol laughable I know but should they have used another courier im sure things would have been smoother
I have the iPhone to use until it arrives, so can wait the 2 weeks if necessary, but like a kid before Xmas, now I've ordered it I want it ASAP!!
