Damn you! How can I not buy it now, I don't even need one! Must resist!

No Sir! If you are up early enough and you spot a bargain like this it is your moral duty to purchase it!

Hopefuly this wont be like the Dells I have owned; customised BIO that wont let you upgrade, customised mobo that you cannot get the full specs for, custom sized PSU that you cannot upgrade... the list goes on.
Dont get me wrong, they are well specc'ed and put together, just a PITA a couple of years down the line.

I've had a Dell XPS 8300 for 6 years, all the parts are completely standard and upgradeable. Unless it's a unique form factor or something, Dell haven't used proprietary parts for years.

Its not a bad price at £500 but there is no way this ever sold for £1100! No disrespect but its a budget gaming pc. 300w psu and 8GB of ram. I think at £500 its about spot on

At £500 it's a very good deal, you wouldn't get these parts for cheaper separately.

Maybe, but the graphics card is over £200 on it's own and that's if you can find stock.

Fair comment but how some people are going on about this deal anyone would think it had a 1080 in it!

If you add up the price of the Graphics card, Motherboard, 300w Power supply, and CPU, then it is already over 500. So you get the TB HDD, 128GB SSD, RAM, case, DVD/RW, Windows 10 etc for free.

Good price but you would need to replace the PSU for any kind of VR. So add maybe £50 .

I'll be replacing mine with a flux capacitor

Not for one of the new Mixed Reality headsets - this spec will give you a great experience without any changes to the configuration IMO
Put it through a power consumption calculator I have built my own PC for VR using an RX 480 but with an AMD FX 9590 so mine is of course much more power hungry. Still think you will see some performance hit with that PSU at 300w.
I would think the load would be more around 400.

Excellent price. It was a little overpriced to start off but these specs for under 500 in a tidy little box is a very good deal for someone looking for a medium-high gaming experience. RX480 is a very good card and the 7400 is not too shabby either. Great find. Heat
