No no No no NO!!! it's September!!! Makes me sad. Christmas will become just another day blended in to the year. It ruins the magic of Christmas time for kids and it's all for companies greed. If you buy it at this time of year, next year they'll be selling it in June, then the year after itll be march, then before you know it it will be sold all year long. :disappointed: this isnt directed at specifically this chocolate deal but ive seen other posts n threads in supermarkets with whole Christmas isles already set up and going. Cards ect being sold over 1 month ago. It drives me mad. Unless you see a true bargain that can't be left alone, don't buy it.. these chocs are usually on offer somewhere near Christmas for £4 each anyway.. do you remember how you saw Christmas when you were a child? Keep that going for kids these days :unicorn: rant over

I agree in principle, but where is the rule that these are only for Christmas? They sell the chocs al year in bags and boxes, why does the tin make it any more "Christmassy"?

Someones perception doesn't make it fact. As far as Im aware, these are just tubs of chocolates that are already available in other packet types. Now if they had snow/ Santa or reindeer graphics etc on them, I'd agree, but as it is, its just a tub of chocs

Erm ok.. It was my view. Nobody said it was fact. You don't have to agree that's fine.. I just stated what I felt about early Christmas shopping ect. I know these chocolates are available all year long in a variation on casings.. if you want to reread what I said you will see I did state what I was saying wasn't aimed at this particular post about the chocolates. Like I say, you don't have to agree, it's just my opinion on the sale of Christmas items and stores being greedy and ruining the magic of Christmas by doing so

Which is why I said that I agree in principle, however, this is as much of a Christmas item as turkey, which I had with my carvery the other week
