These are the ultimate if you like your onions big and very strong. :relaxed:
Also I was told last year (may not still be the case) by the makers that they only sold these to B&M, and only sell them one huge delivery a year (26 pallets rings a bell) so once they're gone, that's it for that batch. :disappointed:

Pro-Tip: These make great pickling or storage jars for when you finish munching through the onions.

I could do a jar of these in one evening's binge watching. Mr Mercedes & pickled onions: perfect.

Thanks OP My parents used to do their own and every Year there would be 7-8 of the old big Sweet shop Jars full to brim, but we would be eating the ones from the year before or even the year before that. My stomach can only handle the odd one now and then so no use me Pickling, these will do nicely

We used to know someone who worked where they grew onions, any that were too small to be picked up by the machine were left in the ground. He got bucket loads and pickled them with a jalapeño pepper in each jar. Nicest onions I ever did taste!

My mum bought Spices that were put in a net that went into the Boiling vinegar, gave the onions a bit of bite lol
