Have been thinking about an Asus Zenbook and this one seems quite good. £75 is from cashback by redemption from ao.com. 2.1% further cashback from TCB until Sat 26th am.
It weighs 1.3kg and has a 14" FHD anti-glare screen, while still in the form factor of a 13" ultrabook. Good size SSD.
From reviews, things to be aware of are fingerprints on the blue finish and coil whine when in use. But overall it seems decent.
Currys also have a blue one at £849 less £70 cashback, but with i5 and 256GB SSD. A number of retailers have the UX430UQ, which adds Nvidia 940 graphics and a more smudge resistant silver finish, but at nearer £1k.
This would be for my wife to replace an ageing Macbook Air and zero games will be played, hence why this seems the choice for us. But any comments on the value welcome.

I had looked at ones but there are so many refurbished ones available I got a bit dubious about the quality. Any owner out there that would know?

I had issues with the screen going off on mine, had to send it back for exchange. The screen on the new one I received flickers from time to time.

If it's just for the wife an no games are going to be played. Why not get something around £400-500 that's 14inch and just as sleek. You're paying for high performance parts for this that really won't be utilised much. An i3 and standard hard drive would be fine for what it will be used for. Your choice though :-)

For ~£150 you can get an Asus EEE Book and chuck in a decent sized SSD even, though a wee bit fiddly and you need to be confident switching over the OS from the eMMC.
