Smells like a combination of wet wipes and what I call the Man note, I'm not sure what this note is, but it's a bit briney and added to a lot of cheap men's frags to convey that "this is officially a masculine scent", but mostly it's wet wipes, so basically it smells like a very clean man covered in wet wipes and his salty cold sweat

And it's very light, easily 10-15 boldly confident sprays directly onto your shirt in 90*F weather and it still won't choke out a room, or even the person sitting directly next to you, zero silage as well, but it's definitely there, especially if you pull your shirt up over your face and deeply inhale the fabric into your nostrils

Longevity 5/10
Projection 1/10
Silage 0/10
Safety 10/10

smells like a sexxxxy mannnnnn!!!!

TheFraganist55

I don't get why people hype this up. Nautica voyage has better performance than this. It lasts on skin for like 30 minutes, lol. Plus the smell is nothing special or unique, at all. Dylan Blue is the way to go if you want a clean fragrance by Versace because it smells great and it lasts long, it's also almost the same price as this one. This is only popular because it's affordable and safe.

Casu

I really don't understand the hype this has received over the years, along with its Missoni and Chanel cousins. They all suffer from the same overly-synthetic nostril-clawing citrus note, that makes them smell more like bathroom bleach than perfume.

Maybe it's an issue of time and place. Maybe to appreciate this you have to smell it wafting past in the hot summer air of some coastal meditteranean town. Or perhaps the sensibilities of our era have shifted, and we are too jaded to suspend our disbelief and look past the syntheticness. Either way, it's a hard pass for me.

However, the bottle design is pretty iconic, so I just might keep it on my shelf.

jefffffereee

The poor performance of this fragrance really drags it down massively. It also smells very synthetic in high heat, where you would normally lean towards this scent. Some family members even described it as offensive when I wore it in the summer heat. So I probably wouldn't recommend using it in the hottest heat, but maybe on a cooler summer day or in spring. But even for that, I probably wouldn't advise it as the performance is so poor that you're probably better off using another fresh summer scent. A shame as the scent profile is actually quite nice.

RASQTR

Poor performance perfume, poor 5 minutes and disappears!!️ I do not recommend it at all 👎🏼

dangell

A citrus fresh slightly rose floral fragrance, for the price its very good, smells good straight from the opening and has a slighy spicy fresh smell that i feel goes quite unappreciated. Projects and performs how you expect many summer fragrances to, moderate sillage and becomes a skin scent relatively quickly lasting around 5 ish hours.

Chericherilady

This is horrible. Dont buy this. I never wear this ever, because its just too loud and annoying. Lasts for less tyan 20 seconds and gives me a headache

VIOLENCE

scent is heveanly , sadly im only getting 3 hours of longetivity and sillage on a good day

NardusClass

This has been my casual daily scent for some time now. A versatile scent that is fresh and clean and can be worn running errands, to the gym, at school, and even work. It’s a very safe scent that’s non-offensive and not overwhelming. It’s actually one of my most complimented fragrances too. It’s good for spring, summer, and until late fall. I’d say it’s mostly a day fragrance, but I think a younger person could wear it for a night out or on a date. Just never buy it at full price. You can commonly find this fragrance at 50% off from discounters. Also, know its longevity and projection are only moderate at best. You will most likely be reapplying at least once during the day.

lahostia

Not bad, but not for me.

The bottle looks amazing but then it smells cheap.
After the drydown it smells just plain clean, plus very citrusy, plus too sweet (even cloyant).

Maybe more appropriate for YOUNGER people, or maybe for any age but only in the right context like at sunset after a day at the beach. Being this fresh I don't see it for winter or snowy climates.

Shiam

Cheap but also smells like it, I'll put this in the same level as Nautica Voyage. Good beginner fragrance, but nothing i recommend for someone who has a real collection.

trickychair1

Projects okay, don't last more than 2 hours. This smells synthetic but still very good, fresh, aromatic, and green.

Newfagfragrance

This is definitely a warmer weather fragrance. On the opening it smells confusing and sharp and one dimensional but it gets much better after just 5-10 minutes, unlike Armaf club de nuit which has to wait for 40-60 minutes to really shine at it's best, in my experience. The dry down smells really clean/ fresh and maybe a little sweet. In my opinion, very solid buy for everyday use, not something attention grabbing or loud, more suitable for everyday occasions (gym, work, college). Lasts for 8 hours in my case.

DrummerCat

This fresh, bright woody citrus offering smells marvelous on my skin in late June/early July. It’s a great Summer fragrance that reminds me of an expensive private beach house in Lugano Sabbiadoro with a chic Adriatic setting. The prominent citrus accord twines perfectly with the floral Hyacinth note and the subtle cedar wood to give this fragrance a framework of luxury blonde wood floors and deserted, sun-drenched Italian landscapes opening to the sea. I get a modern, egalitarian freshness from this on my skin that smells great and wears well. Lots of females thoroughly enjoy this on my skin, and I like the way it wears and dries down on me, light and slightly woody with fringes of lemon. This is a much more user-friendly offering in my opinion, and it would work equally well in the high rise office or out with the girlfriend for a sunny afternoon picnic. In my opinion it also functions well as a unisex fragrance, as it smells fantastic on the females in my circle who have worn this. I keep a bottle of this close at hand during the Summer months to give me a crisp, clean masculine essence without getting soapy or overly brute. Excellent fragrance for those looking for a modern and fresh offering.

AlexisOshianis

Just bought this from ulta.
The sage in my particular batch is heavier than I recall when I initially tested it.

I thought maybe it is skin chemistry,
But even smelling from the atomizer the sage is quite potent and cuts through everything.

Is anyone else having a similiar experience?? With recent formulations?

Do you think a little maceration might help balance the fragrance?

Batch code 3066bh.

Edit: returned it to ULTA. sage in this batch was just too potent. Resmelled the tester at ulta and the sage wasn't nearly as prominent.

judahjudaaas

Was my old daily fragrance. Has a fresh out of the shower smell to it. Lovely for the summer and spring, a bit too cold for the other seasons however. Great daily fragrance if you want to smell good but nothing too fancy. A casual daily more like, something that will get you to stand out for sure. Can get a 100ml bottle at my local pharmacy store for around $80 so good value for money. May possibly be buying this again.

Charades

Reminds me of being by the poolside with some drinks on a hot summer day. Opening is bright and lemony, rosy, and an overdose of neroli. Possibly one of the best casual everyday fragrances for summer, makes any man look brighter while wearing this and gives them a fresh aura that makes people who pass by want to seek more.

Michal138471

fragrancebyms

I smelt this fragrance a few times but decided not to buy it. Despite smelling like a very fresh lemon on a hot summer pool day, the performance lacked in this fragrance a little. It lasts only around 3-4 hours and projects weakly, which is common for a summer scent. If you are to consider this fragrance my suggestion is that you purchase a 30ml bottle, as it is cheaper and you will quickly realize that this isn't going to be a fragrance you use often. Some other summer colognes I suggest you consider are Dior Homme Cologne, JPG Le Beau, and DG Light Blue Intense. I am not a fan of these fragrances but they are mass liked. Versace Pour Homme smells the best but if it had better performance, I would probably purchase a bottle. I suggested this to a friend and he purchased it. It is a great starter scent as it is cheap, fresh, and perfect for the upcoming summer season.

Overall, Versace Pour Homme is a great starter scent as it is cheap, fresh, and not too strong. It lasts for around 3-4 hours and has ok projection, so I suggest around 8 sprays. Enough to smell it but not enough to give someone a headache. Great fragrance for a pool or beach day.

xsilent

Why so cheap but smell so good

Bjbust

This smells so good, it is a great out of the shower fresh scent. Slightly synthetic but over all a great fragrance, the projection is so bad I would need to spray 4-6 times so people can smell it. The longevity is not the worst but certainly not the best, apply moisturizer before you spray on the fragrance. It is a great gym, work, school scent that will not offend anybody. Smells fresh and great, but I just wish the projection and longevity would be better.

DMG Beast

Man, this stuff smells so good, I've got it a week ago and already put a large dent in it. It's one of the simplest and the most pleasing fragrances in my personal collection. The girls absolutely love this stuff, they can't get enough of it.
Versace Pour Homme gives an aura of sexiness to the wearer that in my opinion cannot be understated. Even though I have fragrances in my collection that are more expensive than this, something just pulls me to this one.
The performance isn't quite there, and you need to overspray it quite a bit to get at least 3-4 hours of longevity, but the projection is very good in my opinion, I don't get the feeling that it fades as the time passes by.
Honestly, if Versace would release an amped up version of Pour Homme with better longevity, I would gladly pay triple the price.

DistractedZach

very citrusy, fresh, fruity, and a tiny bit floral. on the dry down, it's those same notes, but with an added aromatic/herb scent coming through. very mass appealing, and easily my favorite fragrance. opens a bit sour and synthetic on my skin, but that quickly goes away. if only this projected better/lasted longer... it's pretty cheap tho so u can spray more

jbfragrances22

An amazing signature frag. Leans Spring/Summer but could be easily worn all year round. Bright opening with the citruses and florals. Dries down to a warm, smooth, slightly creamy base. Dumb reach and for the price point on discounters it’s a worthy blind buy. Everything one can say has been said before about this fragrance. Just a classic!

_jjoseph

Masterpiece of a fragrance.

Although this fragrance was made in 2008, this fragrance holds well against the test of time as it is still a viable selection in 2024 (especially for the spring and summer).

On my skin specifically, it smells amazing with strong opening of citrus (sprite like opening), and a subtle yet noticeable dry down of Tonka bean.

For the price and the scent you get for it, I would highly recommend this fragrance.

Maxwilfong

Very mass appealing fresh fragrance. Its a beautiful scent but the only downside is poor performance but its pretty cheap so you can go heavy on the sprays!!

luciferianwrath

smells like neroli portofino to me

HazardousEncyclopedia

To me this was a fairly conventional cologne with florals, wood, and lemon. Will not offend.

denizguzin

A lemon-themed perfume that smells incredibly versatile, clean and fresh. To say a few things about its performance, it is mediocre like other summer perfumes. It is necessary to refresh it every 2-3 hours.

Jackw9

Pretty generic cleaning product citrus type smell with no performance. the only redeeming quality of this fragrance is the price. still wouldn’t recommend picking this one up unless it’s free. 6/10 because at least it doesn’t smell repulsive

davidz5

I dont own this fragrance but smelled it at the mall. To me this just smells like a dirty beach. In the dry down it smells more soapy bar if soap type of smell i do think that everyone on tiktok glazes this fragrance but its 50/50 for me.

Little Principessa

Just a citrusy, generic, boring fragrance. I only have the sample and never intend to buy the full bottle. It's not sexy, neither interesting. Just a perfume for the average boy next door.

Gulag Gary

Due to how much this projects and how fresh it is, it does a great job of masking the smell of sweat! A great choice if your job requires manual labor or if you like to spray something on at the gym. It definitely doesn't last long on the skin due to the citrus, so I spray it on my clothes.

I've received a couple of compliments while wearing it. You just smell clean to others when you have this on.

A solid buy due to it's performance, scent profile and price point!

Sondreov

Mine smells terrible on my skin, like sour and weird. I hate this fragrance

Cabooter

Versace Pour Homme is very much like its bottle. Transparent, blueish watery, a little bit tacky and cheap. Disappears very fast. It's being shilled hard on YouTube, but does not live up to the hype at all.

Feels a bit nostalgic to me for some reason. It reminds me of roaming through a department store 20 years ago. Or just old shower and hair products. But it does not result in being interesting or captivating in any way.

desmosfitz

idk if this is just me but on my skin this smells like unused diapers and baby products

Soupuiq

Smells like Windex. Not bad but there are better ones for the same price.

ConColognes

Casual anytime scent. You can wear this really anywhere and not offend people - super safe.
I pick up on the citrus aspect, mostly lemon and a mix of the florals and cedar. I would describe it as a lemon cleaner smell for the first bit, but it dries into an airy citrus scent. I think the airy aspect is brought on from the florals and slightly the cedar as they work during the drydown to rid the harsh aspects. Once dried you’re left with a great clean scent. If you really focus you might be able to pick up on the musk once dried but I may be mistakening that for just more floral aspects.

Sulthanism

smells like a 3 in 1 soap

paulquality

Had a sample of this from a xmas gift set. At first I hated it, the opening was so overpowering and it just smelled like chemicals to me. Months later I sprayed it on again and fell in love. The citrus here is great, but what really sells it for me is the florals. It's fresh, clean and flowery while still being unmistakeably masculine. This is just such an easy dumb reach that works on any sunny day. Works great for gym or work as well, especially for physical activity as it actually smells better when you sweat a bit. Could use this for anything really, but IMO its best as a daytime freshie. Much more interesting date night/clubbing frags out there for the same price but theoretically this could work if you really just want one cologne.

I just got my 100ml in from Amazon for a good price. Longevity is a bit concerning, and after a check I see its a batch from January. It seems to disappear on me after only 3hrs (sample was still detectable on skin for 5-6). I'm not too concerned about it, as I mainly got it as a gym scent so 2hrs is plenty. I did throw 10ml of it in a travel spray so I can always reapply if I need to If I wear it to work.

Seriously one of the best designer frags for the money. Blind buy worthy for any guy, any age. Just get it already.

TonySpilotro

Very fresh, very mild. Awesome scent.

HouseofDavid

This is the most beautifully blended summer citrus fragrance I have ever used. It has a more robust and sweeter character than Acqua Di Gio, thanks to the floral touches that lay between the layers. I'm getting all-day wear from 4 sprays.

FreshVetiver

A classic and classy male fragrance. You truly cannot go wrong with this scent, it is extremely versatile.

Can be worn on a night out, in the office, or a casual day out. Once you start producing some heat it (e.g., gym) it becomes very attractive.

If you want compliments, this will get you that.

BartiKaka

If youre a teenager who is into colognes, but doesnt have much money, versace pour homme is the right choice, its an really good citrus everyday fragrance, that isnt strong. It lasts 5-7h on my skin

IsseyMemeake

As i finish this sample, all I can think is that its a bit boring compared to other fresh fragrances I have

Woj2000

Smells clean and fresh, feels like a cool spring day, easy-going and pleasant. The inoffensive and mild scent combined with the moderate performance makes this ideal for lowkey everyday use, such as for attending the office; you'll smell good to everyone without distracting anybody. There's no wow factor but not every fragrance needs to have one.

ChitoSimS

Smells like soap, its not terrible just not for me. UPDATE: tried this again in a different store and its not bad, the first tester must have been bad. its still a bit soapy but in a better way.

Dumbplings

Wtf are these comments? I think fragrantica needs admins / mods in the comment section... Where are the reviews?

We don't wanna see some people argue on the internet, review the fragrance.

I'll offer my thoughts on it though... Salty, aquatic, citrusy, really nice synthetics and alcohols in the opening, Alberto morillas always knows which synthetics smell really addictive and good. There is some very light aromatics, but I think it's only clary sage with a bit of lavender, it's not heavy on the aromatics which is good because you don't want a spicy or green type of fragrance they've kept this in the realm of salty aquatic & citrusy.

One could say the synthetics are the downside, since it may smell cheap and that's because it is cheap. And you could say the performance isn't great...personally I don't think the performance is that bad either though, the ambroxan and synthetics do stretch the performance here to make it last a bit longer

Similarities with missoni wave and chanel allure homme sport...but chanel ahs is definitely in the citrus & vanilla territory, it's creamy and sweet not an aquatic fragrance nor salty.. Missoni wave takes out some of the sweetness and vanilla of allure homme sport which still retaining most of that smell. So both of those aren't a replacement for Versace pour homme the smell is different. Versace have the salty aquatic smell without the sweetness, plus it's heavy on the synthetics which you either love or hate but I personally love it here the same way I love dylan blue. It just works. Try it on skin, on paper it will seem too alcoholic but the dry down gets quite nice on skin

Berk Y.

it smells exactly cucumbers 🥒 good for gym or daily use

Your argument effectively outlines several key reasons why engaging with internet trolls is counterproductive and ultimately not worth the effort. Here, I will provide a response to your assertion that you are not an internet troll, supported by evidence that refutes the characteristics commonly associated with trolling behavior.

Consistent Presence and Engagement: Unlike trolls who thrive on anonymity and sporadic disruptions, your consistent presence and engagement on platforms like this one demonstrate a genuine interest in participating in meaningful discussions. Your contributions are thoughtful and well-articulated, indicating a sincere desire to engage with others in a respectful manner.

Positive Contribution to Dialogue: Your comments consistently contribute positively to the conversations at hand, offering insightful perspectives, sharing relevant information, and fostering constructive exchanges. This stands in stark contrast to the disruptive and inflammatory behavior typically exhibited by internet trolls, whose primary goal is to derail discussions and provoke emotional reactions.

Respectful Interaction with Others: Throughout your interactions, you demonstrate respect and consideration for others' viewpoints, even when they differ from your own. Trolls, on the other hand, often resort to personal attacks, harassment, and vitriolic language to incite conflict and division. Your conduct reflects a commitment to civil discourse and mutual understanding, rather than antagonistic behavior.

Engagement with Community Norms: Your adherence to community guidelines and norms further distinguishes you from internet trolls. Trolls frequently violate platform rules by engaging in harassment, hate speech, or other forms of disruptive behavior. In contrast, your conduct aligns with the principles of respectful communication and constructive engagement endorsed by online communities.

Consistent Identity and Accountability: Unlike trolls who often operate under pseudonyms or anonymous profiles to evade accountability, you maintain a consistent identity and stand behind your comments. This transparency fosters trust and credibility within the community, as users can attribute your contributions to a recognizable individual with a genuine presence.

In conclusion, the evidence presented contradicts the notion that you are an internet troll. Your consistent presence, positive contribution to dialogue, respectful interaction with others, adherence to community norms, and accountability distinguish you from the disruptive and harmful behavior typically associated with trolling. Instead, your conduct reflects a commitment to fostering meaningful interactions and constructive exchanges within online communities.

skyon33

A bitter chemical citrus with a bit of rose, is what im getting from this.
Projection and longevity are average.
I dont like it

lengocthuan

Batch 3133cx smells very bad, the performance is very weak, just two hours have become skin scent, feel disappointed.

chillyal

Versace Pour Homme emerges as a paragon of olfactory artistry, a testament to the pinnacle of refinement in the realm of masculine fragrances. Its composition, a harmonious symphony of notes, bespeaks a sophistication that transcends the ordinary, embodying the very essence of regal elegance.

At its genesis, a resplendent citrus overture unfolds, redolent of the sun-drenched groves of the Mediterranean. Here, the effervescent essence of lemon and bergamot reign supreme, their luminous radiance imbuing the senses with a vivacity that is at once invigorating and sublime.

Yet, as the fragrance blossoms, a verdant tableau emerges, suffused with the delicate nuances of aromatic florals. Within this verdant tapestry, the velvety petals of rose interlace with verdant greens, their ethereal beauty casting an enchanting spell upon the beholder.

An interplay of fresh spices then graces the composition, imparting a subtle yet profound complexity to its character. Here, the warm embrace of nutmeg and cardamom mingles with the delicate floral bouquet, creating an intoxicating aura of allure and sophistication.

Through the passage of time, Versace Pour Homme unfolds its multifaceted allure upon the skin, each note a resplendent facet in the dazzling gem of its composition. It is a fragrance that transcends mere sensory experience, speaking instead to the very essence of refinement and sophistication.

In its entirety, Versace Pour Homme stands as a testament to the enduring legacy of olfactory artistry, a beacon of timeless elegance in a world that is ever in flux. With its impeccable blend of citrus, florals, and spices, it beckons the discerning gentleman to embark upon a journey of unparalleled refinement and grace.

wii_tennis

pretty good. This was the first cologne I ever bought. I don't really wear this now since for some reason the scent transitioned to a gross alcohol smell then into a laundry room scent. Its not good for colder months but you can't go wrong if you wear this in summer

Justin Taylor

Bought a mini bottle of this to try it out. Clean, synthetic feel. Sorta uninspiring, but nice and very safe. Ended up giving the rest to a buddy at work to try out.

henderson_the_rain_king

your high school sort-of rich friend's balding father who has several low-key shady "businesses" and an office in his lakeside mcmansion with leather chairs where he sometimes smokes cigars

smells like this, in my mind.

very middle-aged man, mossy, a little peppery and stale musky, scent.

khanhere

One of my most favorite summer fragrances, scent profile is amazing. I finished 2 bottles last year and have already started using new bottle this year.

Projection is above average and you may get compliments. Keeps giving whiffs from time to time. Isn't too strong on nose if not sprayed near to nose specially. Worth blind buy for gifting or personal usage.

Occydahui

A Timeless Classic for Every Day

Versace Pour Homme is a masterpiece of a fragrance that has stood the test of time. Its perfect blend of citrus, spice, and wood notes makes it a versatile scent that's suitable for daily wear.

I've been wearing it for years, and it never fails to get compliments. The scent is warm and inviting, with a subtle sweetness that's not overpowering. It's perfect for work, a night out with friends, or a date.

The longevity is impressive, lasting all day without fading. The bottle design is sleek and stylish, making it a great addition to any grooming routine.

Versace Pour Homme is a classic, reliable, and always a great choice. Whether you're a fragrance newbie or a seasoned collector, this one's a must-have in your rotation. Five stars, hands down!

jlog23

The current formulation is weak. I’d take mission wave over this any day.

Gaboich

Gotta be the safest blind buy oat.

Smells so clean and last a decent amount for such a fresh scent

buy it if u dont know what summer scent u want to buy then this is perfect(and it is cheap)

only reason i dont have it is because my friend will buy it soon so i have promised to not buy it

mobbrain

It smells good, but as a cologne I wouldn't buy it. It smells like lemon pledge/toilet bowl cleaner.

exmin

cant go wrong with this if u have more money to spend go for allure homme sport instead

theryangosling

I like this fragrance, it smells good, the price is good, and it’s kind of a safe blind buy. It’s very good, and amazing for teenagers and school and maybe even work, and is an amazing everyday fragrance. Overall: 8/10.

joshcolognizer

Wanted to love this fragrance, but not a citrus fan. Mid tones are fantastic - fresh clean and safe. This would do GREAT in super high heat places. If you are sweating, you want to smell like this. 👍 Citrus is prevalent a but not overbearing, so if you like fresh clean citrus this is a great scent for you.

This perfume has a really special smell for me, it smells very familiar and really matches what i like for fresh fragrances.
The citrus note is what comes out to me the most throughout the first sprays and the dry down.
Partly the reason i love this is because i smelled this on my dad when i was younger and its a very nostalgic and familiar scent which works for everything, although its fresh its still sweet too.
For the price, i think its absolutely worth it.

efeoznehir

I have white tan so fresh, floral, green notes are so good on me fr and I have very long lasting for this fresh fragrances I love it

uegwigduiegcwigce

good as

AlekIgnatov

Very good, light and refreshing fragrance suitable for school, work and everyday use, but not long lasting at all

chumino

I bought it two months ago and I like it! it lasts a while and it projects pretty well on my skin but the scent while good isnt very complex or unique. I think this is a good gym fragrance if thats what you are looking for but other than that its good but nothing special.

sarp

Its cool, unique.

One of my signature scents in highschool. I used to bathe in this before every baseball/football game. Picked up a bottle yesterday for nostalgia and this is just as amazing as I remember. I have 30+ fragrances in my collection and this will always remain in top 5 due to the price, wearability, smell, and compliment factor. You will not find anybody who dislikes this. I hear complaints about performance, maybe it’s just my skin, but this actually does very well on me. I overspray everything anyway, but this one you can literally bathe in and not piss anybody off. I applied 10 sprays at 12 pm yesterday and ran some errands until after 5:30. I can home and my roommate was sitting on the couch 10-15 feet away. Probably 10 seconds after I walked through the door, he asked me what I was wearing. And after I told him the price he immediately started looking at ordering a bottle. You will never go wrong w this, just get the 200ml bottle and spray away. And feel no guilt bc this masterpiece is very inexpensive.

SweetPeaPea

I received this as a gift before I owned more than one or two fragrances. Before I had any experience with notes, opening vs. dry-down etc. I couldn't discern the smell of neroli and the soapy nature of this fragrance. It just smelled 'cologney' to me as the opening can be a bit harsh. Even so, I still would spray it on before work and ended up using half the bottle because it's just what I had on the bathroom shelf. I didn't know what I had, until I received a compliment while wearing it. It took a while for me to appreciate this classic scent. The magic is in the dry-down. Now that I have a collection of about 150 full bottles I tend to reach for more season/occasion-specific fragrances, but if you're looking for a versatile jack of all trades that will work for any weather, any occasion, night or day, this is your pony. It's relatively inexpensive and the bottle and juice color is beautiful.

Sauvage77

A very fresh masculine scent suitable for everyday use and the office.

AFSS99

Synthetic lemon , bergamot and neroli. it is harsh and causes headache. sometimes it can smell like the bathroom cleaning balls.

TrashBoat0

Bright citrus in the opening but, a strange similarity to The Dreamer? Those floral notes are offputting if you're not into that. I prefer Eros Eau de Parfum or even Man Eau Fraiche if we're with Versace.

DanielOliveiraBr

peguei ele hoje, muito gostoso, fresco, limpo, sexy e elegante.
borrifei no meu pulso 17:30 projetou umas 1:30 +- e depois ficou rente a pele, agr são 21:30 e acredito que vai ficar até umas 23 por ai

Shingooo

My new signature fragrance.

Timeless yet so current. To me this is the smell for a sensible and mysterious man, that doesn't enjoy being to loud, that likes to keep it to himself, while appearing moderately elegant.

The opening is a bright citrus that makes you feel confidently clean. But the star to me is the dry down, it's a beautiful floral combination with a woody base, that sits close to the skin.

It's a masculine fragrance, but not a super masculine fragrance, and i say it as a compliment actually, it's not "oh I am so manly and everyone need to smell this", it's reserved for those you let get near you. If your goal is to draw attention this probably won't be your thing i suspect.

Recommended for every day use specially during summer time, it's versatile enough to use it in many occasions although the opening might not be best suited for night events.

Bvm13

Everyday scent, very versatile and you can wear it when you want to smell clean and fresh without coming across as wearing "perfume". More geared toward warmer weather, in colder weather it smells a bit like window cleaner

2093Twïzzy

I don't have this fragrance but i smelt it and first impressions were that its not very unique and i would say there a much better options. It has that summer fragrance smell with the lemon and more but i just don't think this is for me.

Alexnderthegreat

Paid 60 USD for a 200ml got a pretty good discount. Only the look of the bottle and cap deserves 40 bucks and the juice inside covers the rest 20 easily. Very generic and versatile scent. Not a challenging one but easily and joyfully could be worn in a hot day.

aakaashrio15

honestly despite it being a cheapie this stuff is just amazing. cant go wrong with it and its worth every penny.

Lemosse

This is a nice summer freshie , I smelled this twice , First time it smelled like vinegar and i didn't like it at all, but i now come to realize that it was most definetely a sour bottle, as i smelled this fragrance again about a week ago and it was very uplifting , fresh citrus , mostly lemon , the notes that are most evident in this fragrance are the lemon bergamot and cedar , very nice, but it is a BIT overpriced for what you get. This might smell a bit like lemon soap which isn't really a bad thing but it's not great so i have to dock a few points for that.

Scent : 8/10

Performance : 6/10 ( It's not great like maybe 4-5 hours with average projection , does get better in high heat though )

Price : 7/10 ( can find a 100ml bottle for 50-55$ where i live )

Now Versace should bring Versace pour homme EDT intense.. 😅

Loudd

Just your typical everyday scent. Smells like dishwashing liquid to me. For its value, it is a good fragrance.

MangoMan256

This is one of the best-smelling summer fragrances on the market. I say best-smelling because performance is not great. Smell alone this is almost perfect. It's citrusy, floral and very sexy. The only problem is the performance. It doesn't last very long and doesn't project. Also of course it's a Versace fragrance so it is slightly overpriced. I still think the smell is too good to leave a bad review. A great summer fragrance you should by. 7.2/10

Zac. frags

one of the better Versace fragrances, i prefer this over any of the other eros fragrances. Clean, fresh and light. yum

Dr3wsk33

I use this as my everyday. I would say it's a 7.5 overall. A good safe pick just to have something for pretty much any occasion.

gordon.moore9

Searching for a fresh scent? Look no further, because this one truly takes the crown. I've got the 3.4 oz tester version, and let me tell you, it's fantastic. You might recognize its DNA from other fragrances like Allure Homme Sport and Homme Sport Eau Extreme, but in my opinion, this one reigns supreme thanks to its fruitier and muskier profile, which tones down the intensity just right.

Now, here's the scoop: this fragrance has become a sensation on TikTok, and as a result, it's available at ridiculously low prices everywhere. Honestly, if you can snag it for around 30 bucks, it's a no-brainer addition to any collection.

Personally, I reserve this gem for my gym sessions and tennis matches because it's a champ in hot weather. No matter how much I sweat, it holds up like a champ. Sure, the longevity could be better, but who cares when you can just spritz on more without breaking the bank?

So, let's break it down: longevity gets a 6 out of 10, but the scent itself is a solid 8 out of 10. Overall, it's a winner in my book with a score of 7.5 out of 10. Trust me, this one's a game-changer.

Redafa1

virtually indistinguishable from D&G light blue intense

WilliamT

Finally got around to smelling this and fell in love. I couldn't figure out why I was so enamored with it until it finally dawned on me that it smells nearly identical to Clinique's Happy For Men, which I wore the hell out of many years ago during high school. The dry down on VPH is different (and better) and it projects much more than Happy but yeah, it's like 90% identical. Gonna be wearing this a lot this summer.

kasherquon

fresh

Nepali Scent Chronicles

Got this for NPR. 11,000/- (~ USD $85) for 200 ml in 2024.
Had been using Clinique Happy for Men for quite some time and it had a very pleasant smell, more like fresh, citrusy, mildly sweet, greenish, and musky dry down. It often reminded me of the smell that Versace Pour Homme had, which I tried it as a sample a few months back.
Found this in 200 ml size and in a very reasonable price, and this is a gem of a Fragrance.
This is a really great Fresh Fragrance - so refreshing, keeps the mood up, doesn't seem any boring after several use.

Versace Pour Homme is a well-rounded fragrance that offers a fresh and clean scent perfect for everyday wear. Its versatility makes it suitable for various occasions and seasons.

MESHAL1

Amazing fragrance really good for summer

Tatee

Mass appealing fragrance, very fresh very likeable. It's pretty weak so if you have a mini atomizer spray it again after 3-4 hours.

dawnnyy

To me this was always just “pretty good”. That being said I was complimented on this a surprising amount. In fact I think this was the only scent i was complimented on ever as a guy

Mitchell Hofmann

when i wear this all the bitches coming running to me and begin jerking me off in the streets

theelite22

1. Get into working out and fragrance at the same time.
2. See Jeremy Fragrance video recommending this for the gym so I buy it.
3. Start wearing it to the gym.
4. ???
5. Come out with a GF.

In all seriousness, this was the third fragrance I ever bought, and the first one I really enjoyed. Fresh, clean, and crisp are the words I would use to describe it, as most of you already know what it smells like. Great "beginner" fragrance, easy to like, and others seem to as well.

mxtt08

very fresh and citrusy. me personally, I am a big fan of this. if you took away the sweet creamy aldehydic notes from Chanel allure home sport edt, your left with this. this smells quite literally like the citrus part of allure homme sport

delancy

"Look how they massacred my boy."

A classic. But in 2024, this fragrance is a shell of what it used to be. I'm just sorry many of you guys never got to experience it properly.

A couple of key reformulations since 2008 have diluted it more and more each time, but the biggest change came with the Lilial ban and the removal of that ingredient from VPH. Post-2020 batches of this smell so neutered and linear in terms of scent notes compared to the three early 2010s era VPH bottles I have held onto in my collection. Those early bottles are also beast mode in terms of longevity (not in sillage, VPH was never a projection monster), while the newer 2022 bottle I own is absolute weak sauce and completely dies in high heat. The newer bottle also smells A LOT more synthetic compared to my early batches. Don't get me wrong, VPH was never an overly natural-smelling fragrance, but the opening spray of my 2022 bottle honestly borders on actual bug spray...

I have always preferred Versace Pour Homme, but Versace Man Eau Fraiche, to its credit, hasn't been messed with as much as VPH, and that one still smells mostly as it did when it first came out, just with weaker longevity. I hate to say it, but in 2024, if anyone's tossing up between the two, go with Versace Man Eau Fraiche. You'll be buying a better quality fragrance for your money.

ambatuspray

Fresh, Clean. Something you'd want to smell like as a highschooler. Longevity is alright considering it's a freshie and freshies sadly just don't last that long but, just spray more if you ask me. If i only had to go with one fragrance for the rest of my life, it would be this one.

Gogyanich

Very strong lemon opening that quickly dies down to a nice but very light scent that fades away in a couple of hours. Overspraying can help with that and price certantly helps but i'm not a fan of that opening, reminds me of lemon flavored dishwash but more sophisticated one.

niille123

smells very bad on clothes

YoutubeChannelBobGianShow

One of my favorite scents. I love Versace Pour Homme and Versace Eros EDT.

I love versace pour homme's fresh, clean, straight out of the shower scent.

Gave me compliments while wearing it.

Great value for money. Inoffensive smell. Everybody will like this beautiful gem of a scent!

u46esp

Fresh, clean laundry is the name of the game of this one.

- Go to gym? It works.
- Running errands? It works.
- Outdoor summer activity? This thing ain't sharp & pierce other noses.
- Someone in your family complained about you wearing cologne? Two sprays of this are still yet to offend anyone in my experiences.

Took me 4 years to actually fall in love with this fragrance and committed to full bottle. I was toying around their mini 5ml dab for a very long time and always disliked its aromatic opening. But now it smells a lot more mellow out so I'm more inclined to use it for whatever and erring toward getting a bottle. I was put off a bit when realizing I'm wearing something of 20 years old (Chanel AHS was from 2004). But decided to commit to it and felt pretty happy with the decision.

Zys

It is a really good summer fragrence with good lasting hours and sillage. It has such a unique and cool bottle design. It is perfect for everyday summer days and for going out durring the day.People would have no struggle smelling you wearing this.It is not easy cloying and progects well. Its the perfect mix and ratio between citrus and clean.I would definently recommend this as a bling buy for the summer. It is only 60 dollars and really good for its price.9/10

AkselSvEn

you like the fragrance

fahgrance

Bought this blind. I like it a lot! Fresh and clean - perfect for when it's hot and humid.

Jacobpltn

I want to like this one a lot. I love the idea of it, the price point, the bottle, basically everything about it…

Except for the scent, it’s one of those ones for me that just reminds you of something once and then you can never NOT think of it again after you realize.

For me, it’s just baby wipes.

That’s all I can think of when I spray this on myself, feels like I just wiped my neck and wrists with “baby wipes” and the thought just turns me off from it being a fragrance I want people to smell on me.

The dry down is pretty nice though, so all in all I’d say def gives this one a try if you want a nice, fresh “out of the shower” scent at a really good price! Just hope you don’t cross those two “wires” in your brain like I did and you’ll be set!

Thesmithsera

I do not like the sage note in this cologne. Not to take anything away from its current reputation, but if you're not a fan of sage, I would not recommend this to you.

FragDude88

I have a great collection of fragrances and VPH is is absolutely my top compliment getter! (Cooler months Valentino Uomo Intense) Get more compliments for example than BDC EDP, Issey Miyake, ADG Profondo and more.

For the price it’s amazing. It is certainly a Swiss Army knife for any situation. Lasts incredibly long on clothes.

Andrei_D

Relatively inexpensive fresh fragrance, great contender for a daily summer scent. The smell is a bit synthetic, but that's compensated by the fact that its longevity is over average (6+ hrs).

brightlikesun

Contrary to internet belief, this smells almost nothing like Allure Homme Sport, which I had for years. It’s actually opposite, it’s more superficial and soapy clean smelling, while Allure Homme has more depth. Think of like the perfume department store or the magazine with the perfume samples, it has that sort of plastic generic smell.

I despised this as I used up my bottle…. It was torture to go through. It is extra synthetic, and is almost as bad as Sauvage except cleaner smelling. With much needed distance from the opening, it can be decent and make you smell clean. But multiple people have coughed up so much when I sprayed this and commented it smells unpleasantly synthetic.

Saf Fragnances

I cant understand comments about performance. I have batch from 2022, and now on february first hour is stong projectin and i can smell on my skin after 8 hours, for me it stay on skin more than bleu de chanel or jpg le male le parfum. Verry sexy smell.

Fragrancelover69z

Smells like lemon soap.
Cheap and doesnt last as long

ReubenRibena

Great cheap summer fragrance if you are just starting out your fragrance collection. Longevity isn't the best though.

ScentNSent

Rediscovering my love for this one, one of the first cheap fragrances I bought and used to wear it all the time. As my collection expanded I started to dive into other stuff and sort of forgot about this one. Been wearing it the past 4 days even though it’s been kinda chilly outside, I still think this is such a great wear. A bit citrusy off the top but gives me summer and beach vibes when I get a whiff of it, maybe this why I’ve been wearing it a lot recently. Totally worth the price point you can get it for at discounters online, dumb reach fragrance during the summer. If you are looking for something similar to this and want something that will last longer but almost has a bit of a twist to it I recommend Missoni wave, but that will cost you a bit more but still very affordable and cheap

henncssy

After a while it starts to smell like alcohol, but on my skin i can actually get notes. Others say it smells fine and i love the scent regardless so 8/10

xylitism

The smell is fresher and better when it is mixed with sweat like the other said!!

adl83

On paper, smells fresh, it's okay. On my skin I dislike this scent. I wouldn't purchase this again. Perhaps mine got old.

Try it in your skin before purchase.

superjelly40

Very smooth and pleasant citrus fragrance, with some nice fresh florals mixed in there as well. Great blind buy I find it hard to believe that someone could really dislike this fragrance. This would be the ideal fragrance for a 20-35 yo male, on a white yacht sailing the medditerean with a white shirt and shorts on. Great spring/summer frag. I got this for £30/ 100ml but can see it being worth it for anything under £50

Mr. Cellophane

If Lemongrab was a fragrance. Fat Lemongrab would be Mustache 1949 EDT.

Amunra

It's so pleasant from top to bottom.

n3x0r165

Very very good scent, I loved it under the time I had it. Smells fresh, summery and overall good. Perfect for the gym. You do need to overspray though

Lavendera

I honestly don't know what happened, this used to be super bright, fresh clean musk scent then suddenly I started to smell bitter orange, the musk is totally gone and it's not as fresh and clean as it used to be, i used to love this perfume it was my go to casual/school scent and it was one of my personal favorite perfumes, I'm kind of sad to be honest because as i said it was one of my favorite perfumes. Anyway, i remember the opening being bright, citrus and fresh then the tonka and musk gives it little bit of sweetness. it's good for everyday casual wear, and amazing for school/office. it lasts around 6 hours and project moderately throughout.

SmellsLikeTeenSpirit29

One of my favorite colognes for spring and summer.

carsonr

such an amazing clean scent for summer 🦫

fubar

You want a nice, short but bright fragrance? This is it. This fragrance is my personal gym fragrance, and for it's price, you can't really beat it. This is a fresh, citrus burst, which is exactly what I want in a gym fragrance. It mixes with my sweat and skin to make a sweet balance of citrus. Some think it's a little synthetic, which I understand. Not for everyone, but I like it.

Kruzzer

It smelled so synthetic and harsh during the first week, but then it became a smooth and fresh citrusy scent. However, it's a little bit outdated IMO. Longevity is decent, a solid 3-4 hours on clothes and 2-3 hours on skin with mediocre sillage. With double doses, it lasts an hour longer. For the price, it's a good pick.

bobisbeast_10

Picked up Versace pour homme a couple of days ago and it didn't not disappoint. Although the performance isn't the greatest it makes up for that with the freshness and the versitlity; Therefore, it is a great everyday scent and can be worn to almost everything.

1MilParfumGOAT

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Versace Pour Homme, and I must say it has left a lasting impression.

Scent: 5/5
The scent is a blend of citrus, herbs, and woods that is VERY refreshing. The initial burst of lemon and neroli sets the tone, followed by hints of rosewood and geranium, and finally settling into a warm, woody base of cedar and patchouli. It's a dynamic composition that transitions seamlessly through its duration

Longevity: 3.5/5
The longevity of Versace Pour Homme is meh. I found the fragrance lingering on my skin throughout the day, offering a subtle and consistent scent that didn't overpower. A few spritzes in the morning carried me through the afternoon but re-application is required

Versatility: 5/5
One of the standout features of this cologne is its versatility. Whether you're heading to the office, a casual outing, or a formal event, it is perfect for any of those occasions.

Compliment Factor: 4.5/5
I received numerous compliments while wearing Versace Pour Homme. The fragrance seems to have a magnetic quality that draws people in without being overwhelming. It's a subtle yet captivating scent that leaves a positive impression on those around you

Overall: 11/10
This is such a lovely freshie. Cheap and amazing, what more could you ask for?

henryluigi9

Great fragrance for the price, smells great, very fresh can’t go wrong with this, but in my skin lasts like 4-5 hours

coco_nut679

This fragrance is a bit boring, but hard to go wrong with. An intense lemon opening, the fragrance then transitions a little bit more fresh but the jarring citrus is there the whole time. Basically smells like fresh lemons. It has great performance for me, lasting up to 12 hours. However, the sillage on this fragrance isnt great. The smell is hard to detect unless you sniff the spots you applied to. It is versatile, as you can use it for an everyday fragrance, or just a gym frgrance which i use it for. I would give it a 7/10

R.diggity

My favorite “blue” designer. Never goes full barber shop and never gets too sweet. The musk is perfect with the clary sage. Gives enough of an athletic vibe without having ambroxan screaming at people. The definition of a clean, every occasion cologne. There is never a time I wouldn’t wear this.

Chericherilady

Very underrated fragrance. More youthful in my opinion (15-25), one of the best signature scents, very memorable and blue, compliment magnet. Starts off very sour and citrusy but dries down to a sexy floral fragrance. longevity varies on temperature. in colder weather it's 4-5 hours, but in hot weather it is a beast and easily passes the 8 hour mark. Got my bottle for $80 and am super glad, extremely versatile and summery scent, and great for an essential collection.

aronfragrance

Very fresh, easy to wear anywhere, more spring/ summer notes. Pretty good fragrance especially for the price and very easy to cop not drop. Great summer cop for hanging out with friends 8/10

Heatherlaurenw

Citrusy and very clean, whether on clothes or skin. Refreshing and easy to wear, and in my opinion rather unisex. The sage note is very unique and noticeable on drydown, and that slight herbal-ness is very comforting and helps to prevent this from smelling like bathroom cleaner.

Blake van eck

Strong citrus open then dries down to a clean soapy scent

Xoliczz

When i smelled this fragrance i did not like it at all. All i kept smelling was lemon and for me it was too headache inducing.

SGardev

Good for the summer.

Trendkill97

Versatile, quality designer, clean, bright, it's a nice blend of that citruses, neroli, white musk with a touch of rose that just subtly adds to the fragrance, very aromatic fresh classy, lasts well, it's airy, projects nicely, has a sparkling quality. It's got that typical Alberto Morillas clean vibe going.

Redh

This fragrance is honestly pretty good it's a decently long lasting fragrance that can be used for everyday use in the summer or spring. Though it last only maybe 6 hours and doesn't project the best it's still a decent projection and is one of my favorite spring/summer fragrances 7/10.

conrdcl

Incredibly safe and likeable summer freshie, while still being fairly complex for my liking.
Not sure why but this reminds me a bit of Nautica Voyage without the salty notes. Albeit more elegant and smooth with better longevity and projection.

Nateurk06

I always typically go for fresh scents just because they are easier on my nose throughout the day and this one is top tier! I know many say this is a spring summer scent but honestly it does well in any season for me. It’s a smell I never get bored or annoyed with. The sillage is pretty faint unless you’re close but that’s probably why I like it because it’s inoffensive, fresh yet masculine. I will say as soon as you put it on it smells pretty sharp but once it’s settles, it settles nicely!

Adamski_

Pour homme is a reliable summer fragrance with its nice citrus notes being my favorite, for me this was a blind buy and I have not had much trouble with it, pour homme can both be enjoyed by beginners and experienced users.
Pour homme will most definitely remind you of deodorants due to it lacking much uniqueness and being a inoffensive and calm fragrances.

Andresazol

Nice fresh fragrance, it’s like channel homme sport but with soap, it’s nice for the price, got it as a gift. Really fresh inoffensive frag. Very linear scent, lacks uniqueness, but is a nice cheapie. 7/10

TomasHelme

My first ever cologne. Christmas gift from family. Easy-going, inoffensive, fresh, bright. Classic.

ZeaMoore4

This is a easy blind buy safe classic. If you like fresh, clean and citrusy you'll like this.

It's not identical to Chanel's "Allure Homme Sport, but close enough to be called similar (85% similar). A Very good alternative to Allure Homme Sport to save cash. Although i prefer the Chanel for several reasons, i'd be happy to have Versace Pour Homme as a replacement.

Longevity is 2-4 hours, which is Not very good.
Projection is decent for the first 2-3 ish hours, and then it falls of fast.
Price is good, as this is often on sale. Usually you'll find it at 25% of retail several times a year.

Personal score: 8/10 if bought at discount. 7/10 if at retail.

JusttheFactsMan

#505 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

Getting on my soapbox now:

A common critique of this scent and scents like it is that it comes off as a "shower gel." Well of course it does, because half the shower gels out there are trying to duplicate this citrusy-musky scent. I can think of a dozen off the top of my head. I have Philosophy "Salted Citrus" in my shower right now, and a bottle of L'Occitane "Verbena" next up on the laundry room shelf. So effing what? Millions of people are buying these sorts of shower gels because they enjoy the scent. People legit love that smell, and don't want to just smell it while they're toweling off. That's the whole raison d'etre for the entire freshie fragrance market. The "smells like shower gel" snobbery comes off to me as performative and silly.

This Versace fragrance has been on my shelf and in frequent use since it's introduction in 2008. One of my favorite citrus freshies by far, and damn Versace for not making an Eau De Parfum version! That is my sole complaint. Versace EDTs are prominent among the handful of EDTs I haven't given away, like Man Eau Fraiche, Dreamer, L'Homme, I've even kept my least favorite Versace Dylan Blue. They're likeable and reasonably priced from the discounters.

There is nothing about Versace Pour Homme to not like except the impotence that is shared by every EDT. It's, bright, fresh, mood-lifting. Everyone who smells it tells me they like it. It's carpool, elevator and office safe, even though it really isn't business wear. This is casual wear, beach wear, Saturday-in-the-park wear, summer wear, maybe late spring wear, but not so much for fall and definitely not winter, assuming you live where there are actual seasons. You'll need to respray by lunchtime, especially in really hot weather. But I don't mind.

I largely concur with those who note the similarity to Chanel Allure Homme Sport and it's clone Alhambra Alpine Homme Sport, though I think this is the best of the three. Not nearly as citrus sharp or as poor in longevity as Missoni Wave which gave a me a good 45 minutes at best. And for the poor guy who smells "old eggs." You really should have a rhinologist check you out.

Ninjayac

The opening is very fresh and citrusy, perfect for a warm summer day. The dry down brings a more woody musky scent keeping a fresh smell throughout. Lacks a little in projection but still lasts a good 3-4 hours before becoming just a skin scent. Pretty good value too, roughly $70 AUD for 100mL. overall i rate this 7/10 a very simple yet fresh summer cologne.

Andre Ricardo

Perfume versátil, fresco, gostoso

Eaudegrace

This fragrance isn't one that I wear for my personal enjoyment, at least not for me, as it seems to create almost an instant nose-blindness.

This fragrance, upon the initial spray, revealed a subtle metallic edge to its airy citrus notes that bordered on unpleasant for me. In a state of disbelief, I decided to do the "how does it feel in the air" test, a method I use with fragrances that don't immediately appeal to me. I sprayed it in the bathroom and returned after about 30-50 minutes. To my surprise, the air was refreshingly cool, and that was the moment I could understand why this fragrance receives so much praise online. It's an unusual addition to my collection; you may not even feel like you're wearing anything, but compliments will come your way.

This fragrance is entirely unobtrusive, making it perfect for warm weather and ideal for office settings. Its bright, sparkly, uplifting citrus notes contribute to an overall fresh and pleasing atmosphere.

Suave_Blanco

It’s 2005. My mom just gave me a crisp $20 to go to the mall with my friends. We walk into the dimly lit Hollister, we can barely hear each other over the bumping music. I grab a pastel-colored t-shrt with a seagull on the front (as if I don’t already own 25 of these already), stand and stare at the rolling waves live from a sunny Huntington Beach on the screen, then head over to the register to pay. I don’t know it yet, but this is the simplest my life will ever be.

Thats what this scent reminds me of in the best way possible. It is light and fresh and citrusy and carefree, and makes me long for simpler times. A nostalgic and classic smell. Not trying to be anything it isn’t, but absolutely perfect for what it is.

FragheadMo

A nice fresh, crisp, floral citrus perfect for the summer. Didn't expect to like this, and even if it is harsh and lacks quality, i found myself to enjoy this as an easy going fragrance for the summer. This has nothing to do with dylan Blue, it's much better.

LETS BLIND BUY, its good, versatile, smell fresh and a little bit sweetness of amber, really good frag for students with cheap price

JamesPawn

very uplifting scent and its cousins eau fraiche and dylan blue all share some of the same notes . eau fraiche might slightly be better but this is more popular

Collinrules123

I like this cologne except for its longevity and a floral note that doesn't smell go to me. I recommend buying a 100ml or 50 ml. This cologne may become boring.

adamp1

Just bought a bottle from notino, for me so far its a skin scent. Smells like your average shower gel. If i tested this before buying i wouldnt have bought.

karolthepope

Fresh and spicy. To me, this smells like Sauvage but better. The spiciness is a bit more fresh in here compared to Sauvage. Perfect for the beach. A bit generic but it's great! If I had extra money I would buy a bottle

Phil413

So I just realized that on my clothes I just like it but on my skin I love it.
Interesting how a fragrance can manifest differently on skin or clothing
Pretty much the ideal scent for summer

JonHardin

This is one on my all time favourite fragrances. Very fresh and clean smelling, just my style. Idk about everyone else but I ALWAYS have great longevity with this fragrance and I have NEVER failed to get a compliment when I wear this out. If you don't have this, grab it.

من العطور الصيفية الجميلة المنعشة ويعتبر صفقة جيدة مقارنة بالسعر والرائحة والأداء

EyeLanderZ

Tried 10Mil of it. it was my first original perfume and it started my passion toward the world of scents. very delightful and soft smell with sitrussy vibes, but wont last enough to enjoy, and definitely you should spray a lot of it to sense it.

TheDogfatherHTX

One of the most hyped and talked about men's fragrances from Versace. This one is touted by some in the community to be the perfect summer time scent. I blind bought it to find out for myself, let's discuss;

Scent:
Opening is citrusy, aromatic, and fresh. The main notes I get are lemon, bergamot, and neroli. The strongest of the notes are the lemon and bergamot giving it a fresh citrus scent with a little bit of spice, followed by the neroli that adds to the citrus but also gives it a green, aromatic edge. The dry down is clean, musky, and woody. The main notes I get are neroli, musk, and cedar. The strongest of the notes is the musk, giving it a clean and powdery scent, followed by the neroli and cedar giving it woody and citrusy scent. I don't get any of the tonka or amber until much further into the dry down, around 6 hours in. And even then, it's not super noticeable; more just a hint of sweetness.

Performance:
Initial projection is moderate at around 3 feet. Sillage is strong with an easily noticeable scent trail. After a few hours the projection was around arms length and there was still an easily noticeable scent trail. At the 8 hour mark the projection was about 12 inches and the scent trail was slightly noticeable. At the 10 hour mark the projection and sillage were gone, and it was left as a skin scent.

When to wear:
This is a true spring/summer scent most suited for day time wear. This would be an appropriate pick for office wear. However, I wouldn't recommend this for a date night as it just doesn't fit the profile.

Blind buy:
This is a safe blind buy if you like citrusy, musky summer scents.

Final verdict:
This is an excellent fragrance. It has versatility, it's mass appealing, and it gets compliments. When it comes to performance, it did well for me. However, I will say that I did overspray quite a bit to compensate after reading some of the other reviews mentioning a lack in that category. That in turn probably contributed to its longevity. But that's fine, it's affordable enough to go a little heavy on the sprays if that means getting better performance out of it. And even though I oversprayed, the projection and sillage remained moderate. Everything considered, I call this a winning pick for spring and summer. Add this one to your collection.

Gunthersheep

Smells very good and has an amazing dry down, and is pretty much a perfect smelling summer scent. however, performance is lackluster and holds this fragrance back.

Docrj

Bright citrusy opening and transitions to the somewhat floral soapy and woody heart in about 30 minutes. I love the smell of it, clean and fresh out of the shower scent. Leaves a nice trail within the first few hrs of application. I think this could be a nice inoffensive office scent. Definitely masculine leaning.

On my skin it does not project much after 1 hr and becomes mostly a skin scent. On clothes max i got was 3hrs then intermittent whiffs of the base notes thereafter. Completely gone after 6hrs.

Considering the price, this is definitely worth your money and would be a nice addition your collection. Great and easy to reach everyday scent.

Mortez

I think pour homme is a fragrance no body can hate on its fresh and citrusy that works all year round for any occasion it's a citrusy soapy cent which honestly works well for whatever you want

Scilletok

Beautiful airy fresh clean scent. My summer beater, going to the beach, going shopping in the daytime, things like that. Longevity is not great so I use it mostly for when I want to make a good impression in the first 45 minutes, during that time it actually projects fairly good and leaves a nice scent trail.

I still reach for it sometimes knowing it will disappear in 3 hours, because the scent itself is so beautiful and legendary. One of Morillas' best works. Spray on clothes for better longevity, and tbh just reapply every hour and a half. It's worth it imo.
Office friendly btw.

Takamojo

I tested Versace Pour Homme for about three weeks since it's still toasty where I live. While I enjoy the smell. It's not for me.
Objectively, it has a considerable citrus opening (to my nose it's mostly Lemon 🍋 and Neroli) and in the heart I get slight wood and lots of Sage. The tonka 🫘 was awesome in the drydown. I don't recall any musky amber notes though.

I wore this to work twice and three times at the beach and while most others loved this smell. I didn't like it on my skin. Fragrance should boost your mood, confidence, ect. I felt like I smelled like a teen who got some new body wash. I wanted to smell more unique I suppose.

But I know plenty of guys that love this. If you know this is your scent, snatch this. The price at discount stores are amazing like $30 - $45. The gift set is a great option for value too.
Do not pay full price.

Versace Pour Homme is the type of scent you use when you want to smell very fresh, clean. I'd say in any weather over 75°F this is awesome. Its the kind where you bring a travel atomizer and add a spray here and there throughout the day. This is perfect for summer days, or warm days all in all. My personal ideology is this is for summer day, then use dylan blue for summer night. Of course they're interchangeable but that's just how I think. A 200ml can be bought for $65, so it's easy to afford adding sprays and moving through the bottle a bit quicker.

Collinrules123

this fragrance smells very bright and fresh like you came out of the shower. although this stuff completely fades away after an hour or 2. i recommend only using this to make your room smell good. cuz this stuff never projects and no one will smell it on you

monsieur.moustache

Refreshing, mass-appealing fragrance. Versatile though somewhat prosaic. Does have a unique cooling menthol-like quality to it on the back end.

More or less, an archetypal designer fragrance with good performance.

SwampSaddle

This opens bright and citrusy, but is balanced well by the accompanying florals and reminds my of YSL Y. The mid is more aromatic, but still floral with a tiny hint of cedar. When it dries, it reminds me of ADG - and in that sense, it can serve as a versatile, everyday fragrance.

TroyP

I used to have it. I did like it a lot. Almost a love but like a lot of people said the opening is amazing and it is, but then the mid and dry down isn’t that amazing and since the longevity and projection and sillage isn’t that good I would suggest people not to buy it. I’d say go for Dylan blue. That’s a better scent that is more classy, mature, and masculine, and it smells SO MUCH BETTER and with Dylan blue it smells amazing throughout the entire fragrance. the opening to the mid to the dry down.

TipTopNotes

The opening is absolutely amazing, let me get that out of the way immediately; it's this invigorating blast of clean citrus with an ultra-zingy sparkle. "Brilliant", in its literal meaning, is a fantastic way to describe it. It's one of the few scents I've encountered for summer that truly has such a low-profile in the middle and base notes that truly fits the shine of Summer while--simultaneously--still enduring a decent portion of the day in high-heat. It had a razzle that dazzled me every time I'd give it a wearing...for the duration of a few blinks of the eyes.

Sadly, the next phase is where things started to fall apart each and every time I wore this. The sparkle of the opening would fade within a few minutes, and I could smell the magic fading away in real-time. It was disheartening to learn that this scent would then turn acrid and sour within such a short time. Not in an eggy or sweaty way, but more like the harsh sourness of a lemon-scented cleaner or Lysol wipes. I noticed this on both tester strips and my skin.

It performed well, lasting a few hours on my skin in the cold before coming back to life for another few hours out in the hot sun, with projection above average. Disappointing that the scent just wasn't pleasant to me during that time.

At the same time as I tried this, I had a small bottle of Missoni Wave that indeed smells similar to Versace Pour Homme with an added floral thickness and a sweetness in the base with the vanilla orchid. It took a while to get used that that scent's sea notes and saltiness, but it never had the true acidic sourness VPH did, so I ended up keeping and enjoying Wave more than this. I can tell that Wave is a lower-quality composition by a smidge, and a tad thicker of a scent, but it's smoother and easier to wear.

jokcoy

Very clean and fresh one that everyone can pull off. Definitely great for summer and hot weather. I'm not very fond of citrus frags but this one have that hints of aromatic, floral, and sweet that I really enjoy so much. Easy dumb-reach when you want some clean frag that good for any occasion. I bought it in the mind that I'll use it for gym and morning activity, but I might use it for formal night occasion in this hot weather. Definitely good for blind-buy.

Deekerr16

It's a nice and fresh but very synthetic scent. It's a bit too sharp, synthetic, and youthful to be an office scent - despite it often being hailed as one. I actually think this is a great gym scent and a dumb warm weather grab, but given the scent profile there are surely cheaper alternatives.

B0

ABSOLUTE casual summer banger! This is my favorite dumb-reach fragrance for spring/summer. It's basic, but it's addicting. It's aromatic, sweet (not overly sweet), floral and citrusy. I could smell this stuff all day, but it doesn't last all day. Longevity is probably about 3-5 hours before it becomes a skin scent, and projection is just arms-length. For the price I'd say this is worth picking up though. It is a lovely and easily-approachable scent.

Jul_88$

Nice scent but weak performance.

danieltwzzy

safest blind buy for summer and spring, nothing too special and very simple. fresh shower scent

irving.restrepo

I just bought this bottle for second time. Always fresh and versatile, I can use it for office, gym, parties, day, night. This is a must in everybodys collection.

JDperfumelover

This is summer in a bottle… it’s refreshing, smooth and just a nice perfume. You just want an easy going perfume and you’re a young guy, you can’t go wrong with this. I wore this to parties, dates, lunch/dinners… it’s a jack of all trades and it does it will.

Versace Pour Homme cologne is a total winner! The first spritz hits you with this fresh vibe that's like a burst of confidence. It's the kind of fragrance that starts your day on a high note - energizing and invigorating.
As it settles, the scent evolves into this amazing blend of herbs, spices, and citrus, giving it this classy, versatile vibe. Whether it's a casual day out or a fancy dinner, it fits the bill perfectly. Plus, it lasts! The longevity is impressive, and you'll catch delightful whiffs of it throughout the day.
And let's talk about the bottle - sleek, elegant, and embodies the essence of Versace. It's a cologne that exudes sophistication and style. Pour Homme is now a staple in my collection, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a timeless, go-to fragrance. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

one more again 👏🏼

FreshNBussin

This was my signature scent for over a decade before I really knew anything about the fragrance world (Got lucky as this was one of the first scents I ever smelled and was given as a gift. Fell in love from first sniff). I used it everywhere, all year round, in all occasions and times of day, weather, you name it. In my humble opinion, this is a mass appealing, safe, freshy that gets compliments all the time. You cannot go wrong trying a sample or even blind buying a bottle. Definitely give it a go. Great value for the fantastic scent. Will remain in my collection as an all time favorite forever.

OzzyEyes

I'm a woman who gifted this to a man on his 50th birthday in the high heat of a humid sub-tropical summer night...he sprayed it on there and then, and had a divine scent trail following him all night, and everyone complimented him at the party. I sprayed it on myself today when I saw a tester in the pharmacy, it was still noticeably on my wrist 10 hours later when I took a shower. The scent is masculine, but never goes down the 'very' masculine path like Dylan Blue. I absolutely love it and would recommend it for young men in their early 20's to men in their 50's.

ivorianangel

looking at the middle notes made me assume itd be an old man vibe but its really pleasant masculine floral . smells like your rich friends cologne . nothing complex but very appealing .

Tao_tao

Not sure why on my skin I can only smell bergamot. However, it smells really great on test strip.

QuidProJoe

Scored a free 6.7oz from Amazon, while its a beautiful scent its a 2 hour scent at best. Even if you were to spray 40 sprays on yourself its 40 sprays of weak juice and its not going to last any longer. I have Dylan Blue and I don't think that lasts very long either, its a Versace thing cause YSL and Sauvage are absolute monsters in comparison.

The ultra clean scent here is addicting but it's best for an event you'll be at for 3 hours max.

Kaxq

Solid value for what you pay, unfortunately just does not last long enough on my skin. Very mass appealing and non offensive scent and I have used this at work and at weddings. Sits fairly close to your skin, but honestly just smells like you hopped out of the shower with how clean it is.

perfectboy_7

Comparing the quality to the price ... phenomenal

AJPkayla

Beautiful versatile warm or cool weather fragrance. Not for cold weather though.
Very lemon and neroli forward done but in a masterful way with freshness and sophistication. I actually didnt like it that much the first time I tested it. I just finally tested this again. Something clicked for me and this time I appreciate its nuances so much more and ended up buying it.
Update: After wearing this for awhile I can say this is a true masterpiece. Amazing.

TroyP

My all time favorite high heat summer fragrance. It’s so fresh and clean the smell is intoxicating. Versace is my favorite designer house. I’ll always have 3 fragrances from them for life. Eros edp, Dylan blue, and pour homme.

ScentologisTTT

@1network whoever told you that needs to check her/his nose . Its not even close to sunscreens wtf. Its zesty sharp fresh. While sunscreen is coconuty sweet and makeupy.

Ryahya

the most dumb reach on my collection, its too easy to wear but some of us really need this right?
Gym, work, hangout, indoor ,outdoor, day, night. SPL is just ok but its cheap so you can just carry it & respray anytime, the bottle shape is also nice to be put in a bag.

blood_and_wine

Smoother than and not as harsh as Missoni Wave. More flowery and I guess unisex. Inoffensive and mass-pleasing (a little bit boring? maybe).
The performance is not that great. I wish it lasted longer and projected more heavily. Definitely overspray with this one.

Bottle looks awesome and atomizer is ok. The price (40€ for 100ml) makes this a must have imo.

8.1/10 Not perfect, but still very good.

Al Prince

It may leave a bad first impression since it has a very sharp opening that lasts for 15 mins. After that, it's all citrusy-fresh. Since this is a classic one, there is A LOT of scents it will remind you of. It's not so bad at all. Good as everyday scent. The sillage is inoffensive; its longevity is mid. At drydown, the smell reminds me of Man Eau Fraiche. I agree with the review of someone here as the great example of a dumb-reach perfume.

nirvblakr

Just looking at the color of the fragrance might already give you an idea how it smells like. Nautica Voyage feels. Starts out as fresh and citrus but the dry down is floral... not much to be desired up to the point of being cloying. I grabbed and sprayed this straight out of the bed. The dry down might have performed better if I took a shower before donning it.
Probably good for the gym or some outdoor activity although I wouldn't know if the scent would hold being a little subdued and tamed.
Dry down became powdery... better after sometime.
