When full, it’s too heavy to hang in a pop up privacy tent. plus gravity showers aren’t great anyway.

I just use the bag to heat the water which I then pore into a pressurised deck sprayer

Bought a 2nd one after the first one's handle failed whilst carrying it, making it unhangable. Exactly the same failure occurred and with less than 15L in both times. It works but it wont last long

This works really well, lay it black side up in the sun for a few hours and you've got 20 litres of comfortably warm water to shower in. Even better, lay it on the bonnet of your car after a journey with the the black side up and recycle the waste heat from the engine as well as picking up free heat from the sun (works even better if the car is black too).

The stopper could do with being better designed and would enable it to be used as a water pillow at night if it had a secure screw top.

Also, keep in mind that it will weigh twenty kg when full and that you'll need to lift that above head height to get sufficient pressure if you shower standing up.

All in all, a great piece of kit at a bargain price.

Simple product but heats the water well. The flow is slightly restricted by kinks in the hose but does the job and can't complain for the price.

I bought this as I needed the opportunity to shower whilst on the road. I pulled up in a lay by, filled it and lobbed it on the roof of my van. It got very hot very quickly but the van dash thermometer read 35 degrees anyway. I struggled to get a decent flow at first, I found if I moved it when full the filler cap came off too easily and its almost impossible to get a good height for the head of water needed for a good flow. In the end I left it on the roof and showered inside the back (Welfare loo) compartment of my van. I found I could shower and wash my hair with only half the water it held. I like it and now I have the hang of it I will be using it weekly with work!

Great idea but the push in plug at the top leaks,

I bought 2 of these solar bags to use when we’re camping off-grid and I have to say that given some sunshine, they work very well. I will say that you need to lay them on a table, car bonnet or a roll-up mat to keep them off the ground, but the water does get really warm, so full marks for that.
Where it all unravels is that the hose for the tap and shower head is folded inside the box. This means that the hose kinks and stops the water flow. If only the some thought had been given to packaging, perhaps coil the hose, then I would have given this 5 stars.

Bought this outdoor shower for the beach to wash off the sand and salt. As long as the sun is shining the water warms up quite nicely over the day. The water flow from the head isn’t anything to write home about but it is gravity fed after all so it will do and anyway for a fiver you can’t fault it.

Just remember, 1 liter weighs 1 kilo.

This weighs 20 kilos (about 40 lbs in old money) when full. Next time your at the supermarket, wrap your arms around 10 large drinks bottles ... you'll get the idea !
