When I first hear about this monitor I really wanted to get myself one. Price tag is quite steep though. Tax return season is upon us and I bought myself this monitor and am beyond pleased.

After reading a few reviews I thought setup was going to be more difficult than it was. After booting the computer razer synapse immediately found the monitor and installed the proper drivers. After that geforce experience asked if I wanted to enable gsync. Only manual part was tuning on 144 hz refresh rate. Did not need to use the disc at all.

1st night games of For Honor, GTA V, Crossout, and Overwatch all were beautiful.

Chroma lighting is not as bright as I had hoped but still good, not going to dock a star for that.

Headphone hangar was surprisingly sturdy.

Another user of this monitor told me they don't have any pixel inversion on their's, but it seems they were either lying or thought I was talking about something else. This monitor contains a significant amount of pixel inversion, but not only that, when you set it to 144Hz it will start overshooting or inverse ghosting (one example of inverse ghosting is when a white trail follows your black text on a white background as you're scrolling down or up). These issues are unacceptable defects. It's such a shame because this was my first VA-panel and the deep blacks were excellent compared to all the TN-panel I've ever owned. The color banding was minimal as well. I'm so upset that I keep running into these poorly built monitors.

I've been using this monitor since early July 2018 and honestly really like it, mine works flawlessly and came with no dead pixels and the build quality on the stand and screen is surprisingly awesome! really sturdy mix of metal and plastic that feels and looks great, I'd highly recommend this if your okay sticking with 1080p for a couple years which i plan to! Its easier to run haha my gtx 1070 graphic card runs most games at high around 110-144hz with a good cpu. If your not a gamer this screen isn't for you but for gaming purposes its a perfect value gsync monitor. The monitor does struggle in dark scenes it doesn't look perfect hard to explain but if you not used to a go ips display it will look a little off in dark scenes, it probably wont matter to most people and im just being picky but i have to say something bad about this monitor lol, but its something you get used to or wont notice if your playing FPS games. Now if your more of a cinematic type person i'd recommend a 1440p or 4k monitor for single player games or movies as you really wont need 144hz and gsync. I play mostly rainbow six siege and battlefield type games and this is awesome for those! the high refresh rate is a must for esports or shooter games! and gsync is incredible i wont pc game without it again feels super smooth and fluid. Also the curve while not really necessary, i personally love it haha looks great at the desk and something about it just makes looking at it nicer. its just kinda icing on an already great value cake!

(Side note if you dont mind screen tearing and have good enough pc to run high refresh rates you can save a few bucks on a basic 144hz display as the screen tearing is less noticeable if you can consistently run above 120 frames per second)

if you have this monitor first off congrats! and here are the best settings i've found. You can play with them yourself to find what you like but this is perfect for me and will at least get you close, the settings out of the box wont lie make the the screen look really bad but mess with em and you'll get a good experience

6 axis color all set at 127
brightness 100
contrast 50
gamma 2.5
scaling original AR
over drive normal -(slow is to slow and fast makes the screen purple)
adaptive contrast off - (this is a big one keep it OFF ) will make the screen flicker when on in games
blue light zero

P.S gsync does sometimes flicker as its how the hardware/software is designed if your game thinks or does drop to 0 fps gsync automatically just shows the last rendered frame causing a flicker affect this can happen a lot in loading screens or the start of a match but quickly stops, if its happening in game you might need to adjust your game settings to keep the frame rate higher. just dont panic it happens to all the gsync monitors even my buddies ROG swift its not the screens fault just the small down side of gsync last note if you have adaptive contrast ON it will flicker as its constantly trying to adjust the contrast in a game and just cant keep up so make sure that its off and games wont flicker!

Great Monitor!

Highly recommend it ONLY if you use nvidia to make use of g-sync and don't mind the 1080p (full HD) resolution (I don't).

This is my first curved screen, and the curve effect is very subtle... it's somehow much easier on the eyes as they don't have to travel as far to cover different parts of the screen so eyestrain is much less (very useful when your about 2-3 foot away from it... the effect feels just right.

I'm telling you fellas, this thing looks absolutely gorgeous on the desk + the easy to adjust stand - easily the best stand I've ever seen on a screen!!!

PS. remember to hook it up with a DisplayPort cable to make full use of it's capabilities ;)

This monitor is simply amazing. With just under 600 dollars, you can get a 27 inch curved monitor which is quite a bargain. However, when playing Battlefield 1 on Argonne Forest, the monitor has a high tendency to fry its LCD layer which will make the screen turn purple due to the overdrive technology. Without the overdrive technology though, the VA panel ghosting is just unacceptable. I have to return it.

My monitor turned light colors into a florescent purple after just 10 hours of use and was unusable at that point. Just to clarify, I used this monitor for three days roughly three hours each day. I read that other people have this same issue. Also the gsync did not work.

I think I got a lemon, but since other owners were experiencing the same issues I purchased a similar model from a different manufacturer.

I would not recommend this monitor.
