Just to let the people who are trying to contact Grainger over pre-orders, PS4 breakdowns etc, Grainger have gone bankrupt, the head office called all stores and told their managers to cease trading and close.

Can anybody help me please? I bought a ps4 for my son at Christmas and last night it stopped working. It's under warranty but I can't seem to be able to get hold of anyone to sort it out. Does anybody know what I can do. My son is devastated. Thank you

staff are excellent nd v…

staff are excellent nd v professional,however gamers prefer internet buying and Grainger games was terrible on the internet,i personally tried 3 times to buy and there terrible membership card wouldnt let me.So back to ebay i went.Sad

Very happy chappy !

After reading the reviews on here I was very dubious about ordering an iPhone 8+ from this site at an absolute brilliant price !

I need not have worried though as my iphone arrived with no issues. Condition was mint as described and delivery wasnt bad either - ordered on Thursday morning and arrived on Tuesday - that was with standard free delivery.

I'm very happy and would use again - especially at the price I paid !

Average shopping experience

Average shopping experience I really only shop at grainger games because they usually have items in store that I can’t find anywhere else ! The prices are okay and they tend to focus more on merchandise and pop vinyls in my local store ..however if your lucky u can come across chase pops

Poor service

Ordered Mario + Rabbids GG18030956270-C7-L from the Grainger Games website as they were selling pre-owned for a reasonable price. Sadly when the parcel arrived and I opened the box, there was no game to be seen. I had an empty case. After trying to contact the company both through their website and via email, I have had zero response. I am now reduced to writing negative reviews until I receive an answer.

Update: Problem eventually resolved. Replacement sent after two more emails.

READ BEFORE ORDERING!

Ordered Ni No Kuni 2 collectors edition in February. Money taken straight away. Game did not arrive on release, No dispatch email, no responses to messages, couldn’t reach by email or phone. Gave up and raised a PayPal claim, refund was made that morning. Seems they never intended to fulfil orders, just taking people’s money too try and keep themselves afloat, avoid at all costs, you have been warned!

Lack of communication

I am based in London and no experience buying at their outlets, but their online experience was ok in the beginning.

Ordered 50 used games from them and received them in different deliveries (which is understandable).

but the next purchase online with less orders (6 games), 1 undelivered, this is where the problem starts..no reply on emails..I have sent like 5-6 emails with only 1 reply to say they will check, then went silent. this entire episode is more than 2 weeks long and still waiting for a reply.

Calls to some of the outlets went unanswered while some are polite and helpful to try making inquiries (but no news).

so what is going on? do we inform our credit card companies to cancel the order that didnt arrive? what?

Today, their website is unable to load. GAME OVER ERROR.

Where to start?

Ordered nearly 2 weeks ago.

Order is still "processing".

Having contacted Grainger, they eventually explained that their website orders are fulfilled using returns from their physical stores.

Essentially I'm waiting for my order to be returned to them before they can post it to me.

Still.

After 2 weeks.

Presumably the store it's being returned from is in China....

Silence is Deafening

As per others, placed an order money taken straight away.
No further comms received, no delivery date or confirmation, sent an email and used contact form to get an update........no response from either.

As of now no idea what’s happening with order, very poor wish read reviews here beforehand.

Rare availability, great price and prompt delivery!

Was slightly concerned about placing an order due to the abundance of negative reviews, but I needn't have worried. Grainger Games was able to provide a copy of Persona 5 on PS4 at a great price when many other retailers were out of stock or charging considerably more. Delivery was prompt and I am a happy bunny! Can't speak for others but Grainger Games provided a service that was more than ideal! 5/5

Ordered game and took money immediately. Still no clue to whether it has been dispatched but it's now been a week. Sent two e-mails and phoned HQ multiple times. Their number is 0191281820 for anyone else not having their order done. I'm soon to contact Trading Standards about their practice and contact my bank for a refund if this is not dealt with. Absolutely awful service.

Order not fulfilled but still take cash

Made a pre order for Far Cry 5 on the the 5th of March. Haven't received the game nor any notification of my order being dispatched despite it now being past the release date. I've tried contacting them to resolve the issue(through social media, phone and in person) and nothing. Now I see the company is going into administration so now have to get a charge back claim filed through my bank and hope I get my money back. This will take sometime apparently and in the meantime I'm without my game or cash. GG shouldn't have been taking pre order for items they known they will not have. I feel bad for folk who are losing their jobs but can't say I'm sorry for seeing this company going bust.

Unfortunately they’ve done a runner…

Unfortunately they’ve done a runner with nearly £150 of my money and I’ve not received my items. I’ve made various attempts to contact them unsuccessfully therefore I am being forced to start a chargeback process with my bank to try and get my money back.

No response whatsoever

Update: Since I updated it, I'd still not heard anything so rang them (3 attempts to answer the phone) and the guy John was a real asset to the company because not only did he contact the store that had the other copy of the game but organised the instructions to be sent and arrived next day! I'd have given 5 stars of I hadn't had to contact them numerous times and ways!

I ordered a game and it arrived the next day but there wasn't instructions with it and as there was no mention of it on the website, I sent 2 x messages via their website, to no avail.

Wondering if the website didn't send the message, I sent a separate email and this also hasn't been replied to.

It was the first purchase with them and I fear it will more than likely be the last.

Further to their response by my review, the order number is Grainger Games Web Order No 1907966799. I await in anticipation

Graingergames theft and fraud

If you paid by PayPal open a dispute against them. If paid via credit card ring your credit card company immediately and explain the situation - they can take your money back. Sad to see any business failing but this is theft and fraud on a massive scale - DON'T LET THEM AWAY WITH IT!

Avoid

Ordered iPhone on the 8th March with standard 3-5 day delivery.

They took the money straight away.

Yet here I am 10 days later no phone and unable to get a response from the website or Twitter.

Unbelievably bad customer service.

When you read the negative reviews you assume that no company can be that bad and it is just a vocal few airing their grievances but I believe in this case it really is a poor company and would suggest you look elsewhere if possible.

Never will buy again there

Good prices, yeah... but what happens if your order never arrives? Shows on the website as "complete" on the status. Been waiting two weeks for a couple of consoles. No answer trough their form on the website, no answer on twitter AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Ordered Ni No Kuni II Preorder for release date. No email for dispatch, no reply to webmail email, no reply to online query and no customer service telephone number!

Awful in this day and age.
