These terms are in addition to our standard trade terms & conditions.
 
Buyer’s responsibilities:
 
Our product descriptions are very accurate. It is your responsibility to fully read & understand the product description, plus all content of any linked website from within the description which further describes the goods. It is also your responsibility to ensure that you fully understand what it is that you are buying; including any material the goods are made from, the intended use, condition, delivery charges, accepted payment methods and these terms.
 
By pressing the "Buy It Now" button and continuing with the process, you are agreeing to a contract and to these terms. You will enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the product from us & abide to these terms.
 
Payment:
 
Internet buyers must complete the checkout procedure to let us know how payment is going to be made. Payment must be received within 2 days. If goods are not paid for after 2 days a payment reminder will be sent via email. If the goods are not paid for 4 days after the reminder, the transaction will be cancelled & we will apply to the relevant internet platform for a refund of our costs & commission. The non paying buyer will receive an unpaid strike on their account.
 
Accepted payment methods are listed within the description page. All sales and these terms are final & binding so if you have any questions, ask before buying.
 
Dispatch:
 
We aim to provide a premier service & dispatch goods within one *working day after payment being received. If we cannot dispatch your goods after two *working days we will e-mail you to let you know why & when we expect to dispatch. If we are still unable to dispatch after four *working days, we will advise & offer you a full re-fund.
 
You will be advised by e-mail when we have dispatched your goods, do not ignore this e-mail as it contains important delivery information & in some cases a link to the product instructions.
 
Delivery:
 
At the checkout point, you must provide us with full details, i.e. house number / name, full postcode, email address and a daytime phone number (preferably mobile).
If you do not provide all of these details correctly and if we & DPD (the carriers) cannot contact you due to insufficient details provided, you may become liable for further delivery charges if the delivery fails & goods are returned to us.
 
Delivery is usually within one *working day after dispatch (Mon-Fri & not guaranteed). Delivery times are from 07.00 hrs to 20.00hrs. It is your responsibility to ensure that there is vehicle and foot access to the delivery point and that someone is present to accept delivery. A signature is always required on delivery.
 
The carriers (DPD) will attempt delivery once, if the delivery fails due to no reply or no access the driver will leave a card and (provided you have given a correct email address) DPD will email you asking for further instructions. You should respond to the email or card ASAP to avoid your parcel being returned.
 
Goods which cannot be delivered due to incorrect / incomplete address, no access, no reply to email or card, will be held at the delivery depot for 3 *working days whilst waiting for further instructions. If is no contact made, the carriers will return the parcel to us and charge us for doing so. We will have to recover this charge from you "the buyer" plus the cost of re-delivery before we can re-dispatch the goods.
 
If the goods are undelivered after two *working days from dispatch, it is imperative that you contact us to avoid your goods being returned.
 
 
 
Returns:
 
Please note:
 
Due to the dishonesty of a small minority of buyers, a security tie is now attached to some of our products; you will not be able to use these goods without removing or breaking the tie. Once the tie is removed or broken the goods will be deemed as used. No damage claims or returns, under any circumstances' will be processed if the tie is removed. This rule does not affect our guarantee; the product is guaranteed to function correctly & be to be fit for purpose.
 
 
Defective Goods.
 
There are several external factors outside our control which can make some of our product’s malfunction. If you think there is a fault, please contact us with a detailed explanation of the problem, we can usually resolve problems quickly by e-mail or phone, but before calling we would refer you to the instruction sheet.
 
If you must return the goods please allow us up to 7 *working days to carry out examinations. If it is faulty, we will either (at our discretion) replace it or offer you a full re-fund. In both instances we will compensate you for the return postage costs up to a maximum value of £9.86. Proof of postage cost is required.
 
If our tests confirm that it is not faulty we will advise you & make the goods available for collection. If you want us to arrange the return delivery, we will have to receive payment for doing so before we dispatch. Return delivery is at owner’s risk.
 
Some of our products listed for sale on eBay & other websites are factory seconds, any cosmetic defects are as stated in the product description or the product website. The products are new and guaranteed to function correctly. Return requests made on the grounds of any stated defects in the description will not be accepted.
 
* Working days mean Monday to Friday & exclude Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland & other offshore Isles. Plus any other holiday notices published on any internet sales listing or other website.
 
 
Damaged on delivery.
 
It is your responsibility to fully inspect the goods for damage on delivery. If the goods have obvious external damage to the packaging & contents refuse delivery stating the reason "Damaged" on the delivery note, the goods will be returned to us. You must notify us by e-mail immediately in case this has occurred and if possible with a photo.
 
If you are unable to open & inspect the goods in front of the delivery driver you must mark the delivery note “Unchecked”. You have 48 hours from the time of delivery to notify us of any damage. We and the carriers cannot accept any claims for damage if we are not advised within 48 hours of delivery. You can notify us by e-mail together with clear photo evidence of the damage & packaging. On receipt of your notice & clear photos we may be able to dispatch an immediate replacement.
If you are unable provide us with photo evidence of any damage, we will have to have the goods returned for inspection before we can issue a replacement. This may take several days to arrange.
 
 
If you change your mind.
 
The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 apply to sales made from a business to a consumer, which have been made at a distance. In other words, where there's no face-to-face contact between the seller and the consumer before the contract is made.
 
The Regulations provide consumers a cooling off period of seven days from the date of delivery, in which the consumer may cancel the contract and return the goods for a re-fund. There are several conditions as set out below.
 
1/ The goods must be unused & any security ties must not have been removed.
 
2/ A returns number must be obtained from us & clearly marked on the outside of the carton prior to returning.
3/ You must return the goods at your own expense and by your own transport mode & at your own risk.
 
4/ You are the legal owner of the goods; you are responsible for the goods until delivered to our premises in good condition & signed for. Therefore, it is strongly advised that you return the goods with recorded & insured delivery.
 
In all return cases the goods must be returned un-damaged, complete with all parts & any security ties must be intact. Goods returned damaged, parts missing or security ties missing will be refused & returned to sender. No re-funds will be processed.
 
 
The Distance Selling Regulations apply to this product if you are a consumer. However, they do not apply in the case of business to business transactions, i.e. you are buying the product for use in your trade / profession or on behalf of a business, Sole trader, Partnership, Limited liability partnership or Limited Company, in which case our standard trade terms & conditions will apply.     An excellent product

    I have just used the router jig on my kitchen work tops and found it to be easy to use, light to handle unlike others I have used . I would recommend this product to anyone who has a kitchen project on , also good value for money.

    Good Quality but could be even better

    This is a well made heavy Tufnol jig with a separate "tie-bolt" jig which is a boon as it makes it so easy to match up both sides of the masons joint with the same corresponding bolt positions. However, there are 2x things that would make it better. There is hardly any lead-in or overhang to start the routing on the mason joint. Just another 20mm (or more) would make it easier to use as one has to double check the router bit and guide are actually inside the cut-out as it's so very close to the start and hard to see before starting. Another improvement would be to have a third peg or another peg hole to line up the jig square when one does a trim cut or the male cut. As it is, the 2x peg holes are so close together it is easy to rock the jig away from an exact 90 degree alignment ..I had ...

    perfect offset joints

    Perfect for offset joints, basic Jig and does what it says on the tin! Also great value, any body thinking of buying a well known brand should reconsider as you are only paying for the name. As this does the job better than a lot of others i have used in the past. especially out of square joints with small radius profile worktops. small compact and easy to store as well, Down side could have had 20 or 30 mm extra length at front edge for more stability for router base plate to sit on and maybe incorporate a curve on the end for doing end radios cuts. other than that its great highly recommend.

    Great item arrived quickly.

    This is a great item. Made cutting the worktop very easy f you read the instructions and follow the steps. My only complaint is you need to login and read the instructions or print yourself. This isn't great when you don't have access to a printer and have to read them on a phone. Why not give the option of buying a printed set at checkout or just include them.
