For better or worse, God Eater Resurrection is a game that retains its essence from its original counterpart from the PSP. It’s a game that looks great ion PS4 and fabulous PS Vita and offers a really accessible gameplay for all type of players. However and because of that, many veteran players of the genre could feel that this game is a little bit easier than others games and that turn repetitive really quickly. Despite that and if you can tolerate this, you will find in this remaster a great opportunity to know the franchise or, in other cases, to replay the first game.
This title is everything to me, its an amazing game, i played this game since his psp realease, God Eater Burst, and for those who arent aware, this game was released in 2010, and then remastered in 2015 with a diferent name (God Eater Resurrection), its story is actually amazing and immersive, the soundtracks are great, some reasonable bugs, the game has good mechanics.
A funny thing i wanna share, everytime you play with scythe weapon and your character says "lets give them some slashes" (i dont remembre the right sentence, it happens when you use ur special melee abilitie), well, i was the one getting slashed or "hit by a truck", but yeah, be aware of that o.O
Sidenote: The second title after this game, its more of the same, bcs they used different characters with the same backstory as this one, a full repeat in my opinion, but graphically worst and not a bit emersive.
Hope i helped, and you can check my review of the second game also.
God Eater Resurrection is quite fun and enjoyable, but if you play alone it gets repetitive after a few hours. Still, its mechanics and core gameplay are good, so it's worth a try.
I largely enjoyed my time with God Eater: Resurrection. Even though it’s a little too padded with filler missions featuring the same roaming enemies over and over, laying into Aragami with massive hammers and swords that could cut dumpsters in half generally makes for some good times.
A solid game, fun and showing a surprising amount of depth in both its story and mechanics. If you’ve been looking for a good monster hunting experience and don’t have a Nintendo 3DS, this is definitely a game you’ll want to check out.
The game actually has a quality feel to it, especially in terms of voice acting, soundtrack and the overall graphics, and I can see a lot of potential in the game, but the gameplay really needs more variety in mission structure and combat.
There’s comfort to be found in the simple mission goals, but it’s impossible to ignore how repetitive they are--and how outdated they make Resurrection feel in practice.
Vale la pena,un desarrollo mas que decente para un juego de cazeria, con mecanicas rapidas y personajes que si bien no son todos algunos llegan a tener un desarrollo exelente
The game is a decent time and I had an overall good experience with it. Making your own character in the universe with a slew of hundreds of weapon combinations to use helps make your time with it more enjoyable. Though the issues I had with the difficulty as well as the super repetitive nature of the game makes it leave a slightly bad taste in your mouth by the end. Playing the entire game through Co-op can help tone down those issues, and if played on the Vita I'd say you could reasonably add a tick to the score as that's obviously the platform this kind of game is designed appropriately for.
Quite fun at first, but the repetitive combat and mission structure soon begin to bore. The story is ok, what there is of it, and the anime style graphics are well done. If you like repetitive damage sponge combat by all means buy this game.
Generally a revival **** is forgivable for the time it was released but the clunky combat and camera made this almost unbearable to enjoy. Sadly the story was ok and delivered itself in the first half as very informative and direct which i always find a plus with a unique world to want to explore.
All in all, the upgrades aren't all that great, the lock on is broken, the camera makes you sick after a certain point with the hitboxes still feeling as punishing as it would be on ps2. It hasn't aged well for my tastes and it's only worth a youtube summary if you can't stomach the lower end of monster hunter style game at this day and age.
The the story is generic, but is a hunter game. How care the story in this games?
The combat is bad and the system of crfating, is so wasted. In my opnion, i recommend this game only fans of hunter ,games.
The soundtrak is nice.
