Excellent Mobile Network 1p Using EE’s Network Amazing Data Speeds On 5G & 4G Brilliant Coverage.
Been On All Pay & Go Networks Voxi, Vodafone Smarty, Three Lyca Mobile Lebara…. Giff Gaff Etc But Nothing Beats 1p When It Comes To Best Coverage & Internet Speeds. I’ve Tested Them All & Hands Down 1p Is Best.

Happy customer !!!!

I have been with 1p mobile now for well over 18 months, and yes, really pleased with the great service, coverage and customer service. It's so flexible, with great tariffs to choose from, which you can change, as and when. The app equivelant is really easy to use, to update or check
your information or amend. Well designed and informative. Spot on. Thanks 1p mobile, another happy customer!

Plain language used to describe the…

Plain language used to describe the various options available. PAYG an excellent option for people like me who don’t get out much so only have odd occasions when they are away from their homely Wi-Fi and telephone landline.
Website easy to use. From my experience so far would recommend to fellow pensioners heading steadily towards the departure lounge but wanting life to stay as simple as possible en route

Good value for low usage

Since retiring, I rarely use my mobile phone. The cheapest deal EE could offer me after 24 years with them was £9 a month. I am paying £40 a year for penny mobile, which is a huge saving.

Penny mobile uses the EE network, and supports WiFi calling.

The pricing structure is not particularly clear on their website, but the £40 annual fee covers a minimum charge of £10 every 3 months.

It was easy to set up the account, and my number was transferred across quickly.

What a breath of fresh air this company…

What a breath of fresh air this company is, excellent website and good customer service. It really is not hard but for 99% of communication companies it appears it is too hard. But 1P have been excellent, not much more to say and guess that alone is a glowing endorsement.

All OK

Requiring only limited use of a mobile phone, 1p mobile has provided a significant reduction in costs compared to my previous provider (BT). Transferring my no was quick and easy. Not experienced any problems using local networks.

Easy (1p)easy

Trying to think how the transfer from my old provider to 1pMobile could have been made any easier. My old number was transferred within 24hrs of asking, the tariffs are clear and usage easy to track. My mobile phone usage is quite variable - sometimes very little, sometimes quite intense, so having the flexibility of PAYG and the 1pMoble packages really suits me down to the ground.

I am an OAP and 1p cals and texts suit me down to the ground. I have just purchased 1p mobile for my wife also an OAP. She uses her mobile far more than me [as you do] and will save considerably. Easy to order and staff when needed are very pleasant and polite.

Best thing I ever did moving to…

Best thing I ever did moving to 1pMobile. Now I can send long texts and make phone calls without constantly worrying about the costs I was building up.
Reception is great at all times, and I heartily recommend joining 1pMobile. Even transferring my old phone number was a doddle. Happy days all round for me! :-)

Excellent so far

Having left 3UK a few weeks ago due to ever decreasing signal quality I think I have finally found the best provider.

I tried Vodafone-poor signal, Lyca-just don't, 02 - again, poor signal, Spusu-like Lyca a cut down version of EE that doesn't work unless you have iPhone or Samsung.

The transfer to Penny was so easy.
The PAC transfer was up and running within an hour!
Some of the other providers took days.

So far 10/10.

Just wish they had an app.

Very quick customer service and ideal for a low user

Very quick customer service and Classic PAYG ideal for a low user with its simple low cost of 1p a min, txt, MB. Also the £10 minimum spend per 90days is not that bad as about £3.33 month to keep the SIM live. And the credit rolls over so you can spend it in the next 90days.
Oh yes and for an extra £5 you can choose your number from a large selection or pay more for a Gold number. Pretty unique that.

Highly recommended

Does exactly what is says on the tin! No frills service, but exactly what I need. I needed an EE provider (there aren’t many) with European roaming included (even fewer). 30gb for £10 works for me. Understanding the recurring payment system was a bit confusing but once set up, has been fine. No App, and website a bit rudimentary but provides all info you need. I ported 2 numbers from O2 and both were straightforward. Haven’t had to use CS so can’t comment on that

customer service a joke

tried numerous times to contact via phone number which is 'open' daytime Mon to Fri. Mostly cannot get a connection but when I do I get disconnected within one minute. Have sent 2 messages via website which have yet to be acknowledged . How can a business operate in such a pathetic manner to its longstanding customer.?
