Killer.Socks

I love you M&S but your men's socks are slowly killing hundreds of thousands of normal height, normal.weight men worldwide. Colour quality footsize choice all Excellent, BuT top side elasticity MUCH TooTight !
I had to decapitate all 17 of my new pairs of socks after they were giving me serious ankle pains and flesh gouging possibly leading to heart attacks in older men like me. I am not putting on weight or thickening calves. But YOU are Choking off blood circulation in the lower leg of millions of faithful appreciative customers worldwide. Please fix noose immediately, before you choke me to death! Signed. Dr.Michael Barnes

Utterly abysmal service from start to…

Utterly abysmal service from start to finish. I ordered a dress for an upcoming holiday to pick up from a local M and S in two days. Then received an email saying the delivery was delayed but not by how much. Then received an email saying the dress was out of stock. Now I have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. No way to complain to customer service hence my presence here. We are taking completely useless customer service (and totally rubbish online ordering service) on so many different levels. Will definitely think twice about using M and S in the future.

Why do M&S continue to use EVRI…

Why do M&S continue to use EVRI (formerly Hermes) as for your courier delivery service. Once more, my M&S order has gone 'missing', supposedly returned to you as I refused delivery. I've heard some excuses before that this one takes the biscuit. Plus your overseas call centre staff need to try and actually resolve matters rather than read from a script which bears absolutely no relevance to the matter at hand!. Do better M&S as customers vote with their feet and wallets

Why are M and S still using EVRI they…

Why are M and S still using EVRI they are useless. Never deliver on time they have to be chased and that is by Robot and if your lucky your delivery comes 2 weeks late. M and S don’t seem to be able to do anything about it. Royal Mail were brilliant.

Organic Zambian Honey with Walnuts - walnuts mixed with tar

I received this product as a birthday gift, because I find honey and walnuts delightful. M&S loves its lengthy, tempting product descriptions, however, I cannot believe anyone has actually tasted this product. A better description would be 'walnuts with tar' because it's so packed with nuts, one has to chisel it out of the jar, and the honey tastes like it's been mixed with tar, so even the walnuts are ruined. It's difficult to go wrong with honey and walnuts, but M&S have achieved it with this offering.

Had some furniture delivered

Had some furniture delivered, they carried one part up the stairs, put table together, refused to take packaging away. Would not carry the wardrobe upstairs as was too heavy for them to lift, even though they were told it was a 2nd floor flat.

Online Order

Just received £400 order of men’s shorts, polo shirts etc. nothing wrong with the clothes - I’ve always bought the majority of my wardrobe from M+S, but the way they have been packed and despatched leaves a lot to be desired. Some have obviously been returned before as in torn bags and they have all just been scrunched in to the smallest box possible. No folding and everything now needs ironing. Bit more care and attention would be appreciated

BE VERY CAREFUL SHOPPING YOUR SPARKS OFFERS!!

Clicked on my Sparks “20% off footwear” offer. It stated “Shop your offer”. It took me to a list of footwear items and I assumed I would get the discount. WRONG!!! You have to read the Ts&Cs to find out which ones apply. Spoke to head office. Not bothered. Because they know the rules, they expect customers to know too. They need to change their misleading procedure!

Really disappointed

I have been trying to sort a fairly complicated situation and have spoken to 3 people in customer services one of which was very curt and very unhelpful. Each time I was given 3 different answers to which none of them worked. Where I understand there may be limitations to what they can do I wasn't offered any onward help when I asked for it. I think the call centre may not be in this country - not a problem but there was a language and knowledge/culture barrier. I had also tried the online chat only to have the conversation ended when I hadn't finished talking! Really disappointed as the last time I spoke to someone, they were really helpful. This isn't any kind of prejudice but the last time I spoke to someone they were in the UK and was able to get to the point quickly and resolved.

Decided to try the roasted vegetable…

Decided to try the roasted vegetable pasta bake for 2 people and the garlic bread. Roasted vegetables practically non existent, roughly 6 slices of courgette in entire dish and spoonful of really small other vegetables, awful.
Garlic bread- garlic butter, what garlic butter??? Absolutely terrible, will never buy again

I continue to be disappointed with M&S…

I continue to be disappointed with M&S over the years. Their food standards have declined and the Clothes look even more shoddy every year, a vast number being made in China. But what I really want to know is how they can now justify charging 40p for a paper Carrier Bag! Especially when other stores give them away. This is just another example of the sheer greed and profiteering that is happening throughout our major food stores. M&S are becoming sub standard on every level.

Dreadful "customer service"

Bought some ready meals at 7.30pm from Meadowhall as I'd driven 300 miles that day. Didn't take much notice of the use by dates as I assumed there would be a couple of days on each. Turns out I was wrong. Chicken casserole was out of date the next day so that was almost £5 wasted! "Customer Services" what a joke! Just kept repeating the same thing that they have short shelf lives and I should have checked the dates before purchasing! I spend a lot of money at M & S so I asked if as a gesture of goodwill they could credit me with a voucher. The answer was a resounding no, not interested at all, don't care, it's your own fault. Thanks Shakira! Sainsburys here I come. It's appalling that items are out of date within hours. Surely at that time of night this should be picked up and those items reduced with a yellow warning sticker. Time to take my substantial business elsewhere

After putting off a bra fitting for years, I arranged an appointment at the Lakeside store, my boob guru was Tina, she was very helpful and patient. I felt very uplifted ;) after the appointment ! Thank you Tina :)

Avoid M&S Hastings furniture!

Avoid M&S Hastings furniture! 1.i ordered (and paid in full) took 4 months to deliver. Tried to complain and got fobbed off. Told it was delivery chain issues, said they should make that clear at point of ordering. When it eventually arrived I was very disappointed with the quality. The wardrobe is flimsy - Ikea have similar for less £ and WAY better quality and service (could deliver in a week! Unfortunately size was slightly too big otherwise I totally would have gone there) and it has a strong chemical smell which, one week in, still hasn’t gone, absolutely do not recommend - I will certainly not be buying any furniture from them again. Very disappointing and annoying experience.

Wrong item received, awful customer service

They sent me the wrong colour garden furniture. Forgivable, but the customer service experience so far is not. I'd hoped to sort everything out in a phone call but instead have entered a convoluted chain which hinges on the provision of photos to an expert furniture team who, I'm told, are the only ones qualified to confirm that the colour is wrong. I guess I should have stayed in education for longer. So far the team have been unfriendly, condescending and shown no grasp of the context; namely that I'm a customer who ordered a fairly expensive item and received the wrong thing.

Terrible experience …. False advertising

Absolutely awful ! M and s use to be brilliant. Customer service is non existence. I have won the Percy pig competition, sent it over to them and it’s been a 3 weeks no correspondence whatsoever ! When I called them they are so unhelpful and tells you to email. Emailed 3 times .. guess what …. Yep … nothing. I will be taking this further if I don’t hear from them

Table arrived damaged and Customer Service Awful

I ordered a bedside table. It took a month to arrive and when it did was dumped on the doorstep by DPD. I opened it to find it damaged at the corner where someone has obviously bashed it into a wall. The packaging was good with the edges protected with extra polystyrene so I can only assume they wrapped it with the damage already there. I immediately telephoned M&S only to get a South African call centre who log the call. It's now 3 days later and I've heard nothing. I also ordered a bedside table from Dunelm at a similar time. This came in perfect condition within a few days and the delivery charge was alot lower. I ordered from M&S because last time I did (10 years ago) the service was brilliant and they came in and assembled the furniture. Now I sense this will be a long and weary process to try to get my money back.
