Xiaomi Redmi 4 spotted on TENNA, hints at 3 GB RAM and Snapdragon 625 processor

Xiaomi Redmi 4 spotted on TENNA, hints at 3 GB RAM and Snapdragon 625 processor

Xiaomi has been lately riding high after they caused great stir in the smartphone arena with there two newly launched flagship devices, Mi Note 2 and Mi Mix. Both the devices sport insanely high-end specifications with Mi Note 2 boasts of dual-curved display and Mi Mix making tech-freaks going bonkers with their bezel-less design. Now, Xiaomi Redmi 4 has been spotted on TENNA, Chinese certification website. Xiaomi Redmi 4 is next-in-line to the Redmi 3 series.

According to the leak spotted on TENNA, Redmi 4 will have a 5-inch FullHD display instead of 720p display in its predecessor. The Redmi series will get a huge boost with Redmi 4 sporting 3GB RAM running on 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. The phone is said to have 32GB in-built storage, expandable upto 32 GB.

The leak also suggests that Redmi 4 will have a 13 megapixel rear camera paired with dual LED flash and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. Images surfacing online hints at Redmi 4 to also have a finger-print scanner on the top-rear panel.

Redmi 4 will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI custom skin and is reported to be powered by 4000 mAh battery.

The phone is speculated to be priced at CNY 690 which approximates for a decent price of Rs 7,000.

Xiaomi Redmi 3, which was launched in January 2016 had a 5-inch HD display integrated with 2GB RAM. Recent addition to the Redmi 3 series were Redmi Pro, Redmi Prime priced at Rs 9000 and Rs 8,999 respectively

Since, Xiaomi is known for selling their devices largely through flash sales, fans could expect Redmi 4 to hit markets very soon. However, an official statement from Xiaomi shall be looked out for.
