I wasn't impressed by this fragrance on a card, it's very different on skin. The initial blast was a synthetic marine and fruity amalgam. After warming up on the skin, the tuberose, lily, heliotrope and blond woods accords develop (for me). I don't think this would be suitable for Summer (potentially cloying and headache inducing) however we are into the Autumn months in Australia and I'm really enjoying wearing Flash. It certainly has staying power (unlike Fever which is beautiful but fleeting). This perfume will be polarising, I think. If you're a big fan of Tuberose and Lily (and these work with your chemistry), you'll probably love it. It's a BIG fragrance. Already planning on buying a backup and the longevity is amazing unlike JC's other offerings. Probably not one for the office but for a big day (or night) out, this will get you compliments..... I wouldn't blind buy Flash, some may find it over the top if they don't appreciate the "big bouquet" effect but definitely try it out (and give it time) on your skin instead of a card....

Got this as a gift when I was around 16, absolutely despised it. My cousin got the same one so I just gifted it to her as she seemed to like more chemical leaning scents.
It reminds me a tad of Cloud by Ariana Grande in the way that you can’t smell any notes other than the overpowering alcohol that makes you sneeze all day.
Wouldn’t trust this at all for a blind buy, made me question whether the person who gifted me this in the first place hated me.

Sakara7

This smells sweet metallic to me, the comments talking about this being for 16 year old girls is something I can’t really see. This can definitely be worn my women above 16 and girls that are 16 could wear this too but I feel like this gives of a unisex vibe where one sniff is masculine and one sniff is feminine so it leans fem in one sniff and leans masc in the other and I haven’t witnessed this in my perfumes yet. I don’t see it as juvenile. It’s kind of powdery and there was a particular point where it smelled like a juicy cut strawberry with sherbet on the cut surface but now it smells like a powdery fruit but I can’t pinpoint a particular one.
It’s a nice perfume that I would wear in the day and in the night. I don’t think it’s too daring to wear in the day, but then again I don’t really care when I should wear a perfume because I pick up whatever I want whenever I want to.

fragheadny

Currently on a no-buy, but this will be the first fragrance I purchase when it's over. Yes, it's trashy and synthetic, but I find it so sexy and fun. I mostly get a loud and heady tuberose with a bit of fruitiness. I can't lie, it also kind of smells like a marker... in the best way, if that makes sense. It's definitely not a safe blind buy, so I recommend getting your nose on it before purchasing.

MaceyJoy

This is so underrated! Its a very sexy fragrance suitable for day and night!
It was my every day perfume a few years ago (I now have a more snobby nose for fragrances lol) but so many people complimented the smell when i wore this!
It doesnt smell floral (I cant stand girly floral) Its pink peppery, woody, subtly fruity but sophisticated sexy and suitables for all ages!

judar

absolutely not

SublimeUtopia

This is a very artificial perfume for going out. Absolutely not work-friendly and a bit trashy. But it’s fun, young, intoxicating, over the top, party vibes. Similar energy as the likes of loverdose.

A 16 year old girl in a bottle

jill4895081

I received this as a present and going off the notes I didn't think I would like it so had put it to one side unopened. However, after spending time reading through the reviews and seeing that some people likened it to Hypnotic Poison (which I love) I decided to open it and spray it on my wrist. Surprisingly I agree! It isn't a strong likeness, but there is a similarity and I am glad I gave it a try. I would describe it as a soft, white floral fragrance with a hint of HP :) It lasts several hours too.

grapefruit352

It is close to a style of Hypnose by Lancome, only it is lighter version, without headache inducing vibes. So, in a way more wearable then Hypnose.

Colett

Never get old! Has it since showed up on the market and still my everyday scent ! Floral and pure

Heiri

My daily scent right now, although it’s giving ‘pick me’ girl but I kind of like it? Good combination of fruity and floral. Feel like it needs to have more woody notes for it to be a 10/10 for me. I feel like it would be best worn on a flirty night out at a bar with friends….its giving I’ve smelt this ten times before on someone but its intrigued me…its giving slightly tacky but girly and addictive…its giving I’m in my 30’s but I still think I’m in my 20’s…I give it a 7/10, but matches the price I bought it for to be honest. Good affordable daily scent for me, although I wonder if it’ll get too sickly for me in the end (and for those in my vicinity…).

mariahum

To me, it smells exactly like strawberry chewing gum, the kind that has a slightly minty flavor to it. The smell also sticks around about as long as the chewing gum flavor would (which is to say not very long at all). But it is fruity and fresh, and great for casual summertime wear.

Can I smell this?

I always wondered how many people would recognize what the bottle shape was supposed to be. (Especially with the name flash.). I purchased it a while ago as I was somewhere and did not have any perfume with me (GASP!). I was in a floral phase at the time, and this was worked for my location and time.

I never got the fruit notes, this always had a medicinal floral smell to me. (Kinda the ozone smell a flash makes when it pops.) It did last a long time on my body. Mostly it was a floral powder scent to me, with the florals taking center stage. This fragrance sometimes was very annoying to me. I had to be in a particular mood for it. It was fun while I had it, but would not ever wear again. (I still think the bottle is really cool. )

maddieonline

It's okay, I find this inappropriate for daily wear as it's a little obnoxious. It's not my cup of tea, it's far harsher than the notes would suggest - I do get white florals but for some reason I find these to be harsh, this perfume almost becomes metallic on my skin. I was gifted this and I think I'll struggle to finish the bottle, though I would like to find a layering combination to mellow out the harshness of this fragrance.

MrsJackDaniels

Very strong, almost alcohol-y, almost obnoxious, floral scent, with spikes of over-ripe fruit alongside. Not an everyday scent, would have to be for a more fancy occasion.
Pairs nice with tobacco smoke. Not kidding. The day-after smell of this perfume on a sweater if you were around someone who was smoking blends into a cozy, nostalgic vibe. Reminds me of being a teenager and cleaning my room, picking up clothes off the floor that you wore after an evening out spent in a guy's car while he smoked cigarettes.

Lola7

This is an interesting one for me. Bought at the airport in 2014; I'd had a couple of early morning proseccos which may explain why it was an impulsive buy. I really liked it on first impressions, however as time went on I found it far too strong for me. I'd say it's a polarising scent - you'll love it or hate it. Nearly ten years later, I'm sitting here sniffing my wrist after finding my old bottle and have to say that I really do like it. It's still a marmite smell, it's very distinctive, original .... It's not a soft smell, it's fairly sharp, zingy, I get a lot of over-ripe strawberries, powerful rose in full bloom..... It's definitely a party smell, ideal for nightclubs and hot summer nights in sticky bars - it's not chic or sophisticated - it's a bit tart, in a good way. I'm reminded of flirty nights, cocktails, dancing..... Not a day scent and not a sure blind buy. I'll probably wear this again when I've got dressed up, made up, heels on....

Gyps

I can’t smell anything with this fragrance. I only smell the first spray and in minutes it’s gone. Must be my skin, as I don’t smell anything of what’s been mentioned below. Very weak to my nose. Gave it away - waste of money.

BigBobRoss

Sour tangy strawberries with white florals with a woody base

Straight no for me since I can't bare floral scents

Bloolagoon

I got this perfume as a gift when I was 16 and I wore it religiously until I lost it. I recently found it again and I am in love again. It's such a unique scent and it lasts so long. I love perfumes that everyone can smell and it's so nice on me that I wear this for everyday. It's refreshing for me since it's different from the extremely fruity perfume I usually wear. This perfume is always on deal somewhere so you can get it for a good price. This is a perfect blind buy or as a gift because it's nice

chloe_pip

I blind bought this perfume with my PrettyPennies from Escentual, and it was practically free. I loved the sound of the notes and was really surprised to see the negative reviews as I scrolled. My perfume arrived today and I was nervous to spray! Thankfully, I love this scent. To me it’s a very sweet, white floral perfume. I find no resemblance at all to Hypnotic Poison, but I DO smell a very slight similarity to Alien. Seems pretty long lasting, and not too over powering. Overall, a positive blind buy for me!

TaniaClamp

Flash has a pink pepper, some tuberose and lily to it. It's a floral sophisticated fragrance, very different from the other scents of the Jimmy Choo range. I get the heliotrope, pink pepper and floral notes...which makes it a little grown up compared to the other Jimmy Choo:s.

So if you like Jimmy Choo over all, you may not like this one. I'm not sure myself.... hmmm

carnationmc

A little too sharp and chemical-y for my taste - it smells cheaper than it should, frankly, with less of the elegance and subtlety you can usually expect from a designer scent. Was surprised to read the top notes are meant to be floral and fruity! I concur with a few of the previous reviews that mention a kind of synthetic floral smell, if anything. Everything hits everyone's noses differently of course, but this is a no from me.

sweetsucculents

Initial spray is lovely; it's the dry down that's the problem. To me, it's reminiscent of decaying flowers in an older relatives home. Extremely nauseating and not in the slightest bit appealing.

SummerRose

Of all my Jimmy Choo Fragrances, I would call this the Party, Fun, Fragrance with the Biggest Character. You need to have a certain type of personality for this one. I use to love this so much but a colleague started wearing this and I would smell it from the car park before getting into the building (I think perhaps she might be an over sprayer). Anyway, it smells really good but it is not for the faint hearted. It has depth, it has presence, fantastic sillage and longevity. I still wear it and I enjoy it, this is my 2nd bottle. It's a good one!!

Murmur123123

I usually like stronger scents, but there is something very synthetic and sharp about Flash that I could not appreciate. I cannot categorise this scent as fruity, floral, woody or spicy - it is unique for sure but I am not sure I like it. After the initial synthetic fruity notes (which are not sweet) fade away, Flash reminds me of hair sprays or hair products unfortunately....

Yimyim2525

Strong and instant headache , to my nose smell exactly like CK obsession (I can never wear) where is strawberry and tangerine that I hope for ? Straight to eBay! .

annalise0151

I currently have my second bottle of Flash 60ML EDP.

Well, this perfume is distinct. It is a scent that you can easily fall victim to adoring. As I am on my second bottle. The perfume itself is a light lavender colour in a studded cube bottle topped with a crystal shaped lid. The bottle doesn't really do it for me, but the perfume itself is fascinating.

The scent itself is probably one of the most distinct, exiting, recognisable fragrances I've owned. It lives up to its name as the scent comes in a flash, all ingredients blending together almost smelling like honey with an exiting twist of fruit.

This perfume is definitely suited to evening wear. Perfect for nights out partying. It is the finishing touch to any party outfit. The scent is strong and may be able to be picked up a few feet away. I used to bring it on nights out with me reapplying in club bathrooms. It always managed to allure the males and females too-with girls asking to have some on their wrists in the bathroom from me. It is easily becoming nostalgic for those nights out. It is a youthful fragrance.

The longevity is immense. It can be strongly picked up the following day.

Overall 10/10.

I had this perfume for a while, before I part ways with it. It's too floral for my taste, but if this is something you enjoy, you might like it. Very strong white flowers, not much fruits. Even though some yummy strawberry is listed, I can hardly tell it has any. It's a bit spicy, but mainly floral. The bottle is so beautiful, I can't deny it. The perfume was quite strong and longlasting. So it just depends if you enjoy heavily floral scents or not. It's not a sweet fragrance, but rather clear, feminine one.

Heliotropea

I bought a 100ml tester bottle. The batch code says 05D07C356. When I enter it in Checkfresh I get 'Production date 2012-12-21'. But is that possible if it was launched only in 2013 ? Or maybe testers are produced beforehand ?
If anyone knows the answer(s) to this I'd be happy to hear it. Thank you.

Ali_hoochthepooch

This is the perfect party fragrance in my opinion. I love it even after all these years. Always get compliments when wearing this. Also you can usually always find this at an incredible price

Jessica_Jones

I discovered this one when I was 18. I wore this pretty much exclusively for 3 years until I couldn't find it at stores anymore. I started my perfume journey then, and 80+ perfumes later, I can say nothing compares to the uniqeness, sexiness and longevity of this little gem. But now that I know where to find this online I still opt not to; what can I do? I can't wear it again. Too many memories. :)

AndreaValerie

I received this as a birthday present, and it literally smells like what I’d imagine a camera flash would smell like! I know that sounds odd, but compared to very heavy Jimmy Choo original and it’s flankers, this is so much lighter! It’s airy but very long lasting. I mainly get the pink pepper with this but it also has some sweetness in the way the florals are presented. It smells younger and I definitely don’t agree with some of the comments saying it’s old lady like! To me it smells sparkling and addictive and definitely very unique!
Edit: I have used the fragrance a couple of times and it's not known for being very well lasting but I recently about 2 weeks ago sprayed this on a jacket of mine, and last night when I revisted that jacket I could still smell this perfume projecting!! I couldn't believe it I was honestly so surprised I even received a compliment from a family member on this perfume who said it smelt like I had just applied fragrance!! I am so impressed

Kiti89

At first I was like "what?! Why would anyone compare this to Alien? They're just both sweetish, white floral perfumes - that's it."

However, I find if I spray heavy and allow the opening of Flash to linger a little more, it is quite similar to other sweetish jasmine/white floral perfumes I've come across including Alien (and Burberry London but still not a dupe).

I also admit it Flash has a hint of the peppery woodyness Alien does but not as prominent.

Eventually, Flash dries down much sweeter, almost like bubblegum. I only get strawberry when I put my nose to the nozzle too, none on my skin.

I suppose if for whatever reason you want something with the same vibe as Alien but not as strong or a direct dupe, then this is a good shout. I agree with someone below who said it's Jimmy Choo's take on Alien; it's a sweet, woody, spicy jasmine perfume but not an imitation.

Nyrahe

Ufff...this one is definitelly unique and original

Although, at least to my nose, not very pleasant. It's very very weird smelling.more flowery than fruity but in a very synthetic/platic way...like an air freshener or something

Very weird ... I would not recommend to blindbuy this

RachelSeun

Surprisingly, Flash is a constant compliment getter for me anytime I wear it! It’s actually quite a unique scent and for me it’s not exactly a very easy fragrance to describe, in fact the notes are actually quite surprising to me! It reminds me of rainy days in London city and I usually layer this with Lancome’s Hypnose for an added boost but honestly on its own it’s a stand out fragrance that doesn’t even need to be mixed and layered. To my nose, it’s as if Flash was inspired by Alien by MUGLER in a way (not that they are dupes of each other but there is a small similarity to the two in my opinion). A seriously underrated fragrance from the house of Jimmy Choo!

glitterbebs

I love and hate this perfume. There's something about it that is addictive, sweet, feminine but also a bit old lady smelling as it is so floral heavy. The initial spray is what makes me think of an older lady but the dry down is a soft floral bouquet. It's not my favourite but there is something really good about this perfume, definitely a mix of good and bad

bintTapputi

Pink pepper is really strong here, strawberries, mint in the first wave of scent. Then it really mellows out in a fresh floral scent. It's fine, but for me, completely forgettable. 5/10

bel.gravia

One of the most mouthwatering strawberries with cream I've ever smelled, however when this fragrance is drying down, it tends to produce this weird synthetic smell, which then dominates the composition.

octobertragedy

A unique scent, that's for sure! It's edgy, sexy, spicy, floral. It's got attitude. You get pink pepper galore, tuberose, a hint of jasmine. No strawberries for me either, but there is something fruity and sweet in it, I just cannot separate that note...peach maybe. It settles into a peppery (in a minty kind of way), woody, leathery scent.
I do love all its phases. I would wear it at night, going out, all year around.
It smells expensive and urban. I can see it's not so popular, but it is a gem.

Lilium86

It reminds me omnia bulgari, it's more like a wood perfume on my skin than a white flowers one. A little bit soapy woody perfume

Spencemonster

I have had this scent for so long and loved it so long. Just such a unique scent. Like licorice and candy mixed with white floral and musk. Just so so unique. Very sexy and SO long lasting. It’s just so hard to describe this scent. Other than. You either love or hate it. It’s very unique. But it works. Also the bottle is so adorable.

FragranceFatale

This perfume has ended up being one of my absolute favorites! It has a mugler alien Vibe to it but sweeter with the strawberries added. This lasts exceptionally well on my skin and nothing really lasts on me so that's fantastic. It really does smell expensive and it has such an elegant formal feel about it as well. Even though I still choose to wear this whenever I feel like it because it's just so pretty. This is such a beautifully blended perfume and I'm super happy I got it for a fantastic price. Will definitely always have a bottle in my collection

Tingitangi

Flowers and strawberries, it makes me feel ALIVE!

Selena

Tuberose, pink pepper, strawberry.
I'm afraid of wearing this, it's too much & can be heavy for some. Nothing I'm crazy over, not in my love category, but it goes alright.
Had this for a very long time, and the amount of times I've wore it, I can count on one hand.
Go lightly with application, this is a monster, so two sprays at most will be enough.
I went with 1 spray before bed, and woke up still smelling it.
Longevity is good, but my nose doesn't
"LOVE" it. Too much tuberose.
Over all it's ok.

elmccullar

One of my very favorites! I do have to get past the initial spritz though...it just smells sharp and funky. After 5-10 minutes though, this turns into the most beautiful sweet white floral on me. This lasts forever on me. One application in the morning is all I need for the entire day.

blueberrycheesecake

Like another reviewer below mentioned, this perfume is quite bitter from the beginning.
Once it settles, all i can smell is lilies with just a hint of sweetness and powderiness. I don't get any tuberose or strawberry.
It is definitely interesting, and usually i love perfume from Jimmy Choo, but i think you really have to love lily to wear this

vonniex

I just love this scent ! Great lasting power! Not to sweet...slightly spicy ..in a good way!

Nina Anaisa

I like this perfume, but I get a bitterness coming from the top note. Once that disappears (it doesn't last that long), I enjoy it troughly.

DebiL1211

This came in my scentbox this month. My boyfriend and I both agree that on me it smells like bubble gum. Just straight bubble gum until about an hour later when it just smells like powder. I am going to try it again and see if this changes. I am jealous because he sprayed it on himself and it was a beautiful floral scent. It never changed on him, it just stayed smelling floral. I could definitely see wearing it in the winter as it just seems to smell like that is better weather for it. If it stays as bubble gum on me then I won't be wearing it. I love sweeter scents but this reminds me of sugar free bubble gum from when I was a kid.

3/22/19 Edit - been retrying on and off for a few months and have nailed it down to where I am spraying and the amount. I find if I spray a q-tip and lightly dab it on the bend of my elbows then it stays floral on me rather than bubblegum. For me it is all about location and amount.

FragranceFatale

This smells amazing! I'm in love with this... This on me smells like alien but better. Wonderful floral fragrance that has so much more to offer than a lot of other fragrances in this genre. It has a hint of unusual which gives this an edge. Lasts well and smells divine...

blachedalmond

Back when this first came out I liked all the notes on paper "a white floral with predominant pink pepper it should be a winner" I thought. I went in the store that day eager even to blind buy a small bottle of it. But before I could act on that urge I've been handed SEVERAL (a total of 20ml or so) minis of it by a lovely person from Sephora. She said "why don't you just try these, and if you're still into it come back and get the big one."

It has great staying power and has a nice sillage. I've got so many compliments whenever I wore this, it sure is a public pleaser. But even though everyone around me seemed to like it on me, I just didn't. Something didn't feel just right. It was too sweet and I could see myself getting bored very easily.

I'm glad I didn't get a full bottle immediately.

Megan87

I blind bought this today just because the sparkly box was calling my name and I have to say I LOVE IT! very sophisticated..I use to wear nothin But fruity scents not that I'm older (30) I'm loving more mature smells but still girly and pretty .. it is strong so spraying too much will give a headache ... the smells last allllll day which is awesome

SailorV

I like fresh and modern tuberose scents, the kind that still retain the special hypnotic quality of tuberose without being overwhelming. Jimmy Choo Flash belongs to that category, but it's not my favorite. It's perfectly nice, but a bit boring.

The opening is fresh and fruity, but I don't really get strawberries. Maybe some very unripe early spring strawberries from a hothouse, if I'm generous. The tuberose note is quite nice, mixed with the slight spiciness of lily it becomes very feminine and skin-like. But after a while heliotrope comes in and overpowers the other flowers. I like heliotrope, but its vanilla-almond aspect becomes too strong on my skin in this case. First it blends with the white flowers to a plastic doll smell and then it dries down to a very simple sweet scent. It's alright, not cloying or otherwise bad, Flash just misses that certain something that would make me buy it.
A more interesting fruity note, or stronger white flowers that could stand up against the heliotrope, could have made it better. I must mention that my skin tends to emphasize vanillic notes in the drydowns of perfumes, so maybe it works better on others.

milano1214

This is my second review on this fragrance. I think that something was wrong with the tester. I like it now, it reminds me of Alien but not as potent and mixed with strawberries. It does have the initial blast of pepper which is not my favorite..but it settles into something beautiful on me lol.

Eternity Girl

I've had mixed feelings about this perfume. I liked it enough to purchase it (about 4 or 5 years ago) but found I didn't like it enough to wear it often. Ive worn it maybe 3 times and received compliments but there's something about it thats off putting. I adore florals but I do think its possibly the tuberose Im not liking much in this particular perfume.
Today I was sitting in my lounge room thinking about perfume as you do you know, and realized I hadn't put any on yet.
OMG !! so I rushed to my perfume cupboard deciding before I got there I would wear Bvlgari Omnia my absolute favourite super light spice darling. As I reached for it I intuitively also reached for Jimmy Choo Flash. Im like you know what, I think the spices are going to cut through what I don't like about Flash and make it wearable. And voila yep success girls! !! Its gorgeous !!! Spicy rich white flowers in a ratio that works for me. Im delighted. Probably going to wear this for a whole week like this now. Try it if you have both these. Good luck :)

Perfumeaddict777

I just adore this perfume. This is one of the first real perfumes I've ever owned. Now after experiencing and obtaining many scents from indi to niche And designer, i still find this perfume beautiful, fun, and flirty. It opens with pink pepper and strawberry. It smells similar to "sweet tarts" hard candy. It's fizzy and sweet. 10 minutes later sweet heady tuberose and bubblegum jasmine come out. It's a little musky , very fizzy and bubblegum. The longevity and sillage is amazing. It's a yummy perfume.

knotslandinggirl

A beautiful scent with a heady tuberose, pink pepper, strawberry and woody is which I detect. It has a unique scent, very sparkly, and feminine,it is one of those fragrances which has a softness, but still commands power. I was pleasently surprised!

If you are looking for a different kind of floral that isn't screechy this is perfect, as the tuberose is tamed by the strawberry and the notes of wood with the sparkly pink pepper make it an unusual floral, with depth and character.

The heliotrope makes this a powdery scent, but not soapy, I hate soapy scents. It is soft, because the white florals and fruit shine, creating long longevity, and projection of around a metre in the first 2 hours then it becomes a bubble around you.

This scent is graceful, has charm, and is for those that are afraid of l'oral scents....it has that Jimmy choo stamp on it,which is why it is a favourite of mine.

jlandau1984

Grabbed a bottle this up for super cheap a couple months ago and just got around to testing it out. Upon first spray I couldn't figure out what that familiar scent was, but I knew I had smelled it before... What could it be? Ah-ha, pencil shavings! Who would have thought that pencil shavings could smell so sexy? This perfume smells to me like cinnamon mixed with smoke and vanilla... with the undeniable scent of pencil shavings. This is a power perfume. I imagine an executive level woman directing a board meeting (full of men) while wearing this to accent her perfectly combed back high and tight ponytail and black pinstriped power pantsuit.

pearlbelle

A seriously soapy pink pepper, I like the addition of strawberry to this mix spicy floral blend, it keeps it a fun perfume. I see a confident strong business-lady, working in a office, she runs things around here. I like this perfume, a spring perfume that could probably make the transition to summer fragrance with ease.

LadyIva

I travel a lot for my work. International flights are great because I get to sniff lots of happy bottles at duty free shops at various airports. But once I'm on board I take good care not to suffocate fellow passengers with my monster fragrances.
I bought a mini (4ml) of Jimmy Choo Flash as something that would fit into any sealable bag and wouldn't offend anyone. Normally I don't wear this type of floral-fruity fragrance at all; it is way too pretty, girly and sweet for my liking. But this frequent flyer has found it to be a good travel companion.

genny17

It was sitting on my shelf for the longest time, I used to wear it a lot in the past...and I am rediscovering it with pleasure..it is like a sweet warm floral, there is a hint of tuberose, but so nicely done, tuberose can be tricky for me, this is a soft fresh tuberose..the overall tone of the scent is feminine, pretty, easy to wear, with good projection...i know it isn't like out of this world, but I enjoy also the smooth soapy undertone...liking wearing it more and more .it is kind of grown up, but modern also, and unlike many scents out there, it is quite recognizable.....and it smells so nice .

I tested this at the shops today. When I sniffed at the bottle cap I wasn't impressed. It smelt stuffy and old-fashioned (tuberose and alcohol..) but I sprayed anyway since you can only judge a perfume when it's on your skin. I'm sniffing it on my arm now that I'm home and it's much better! No alcohol or mustiness. On me it's mainly strawberries and jasmine so it's a yummy floral. No tuberose anymore but there's a hint of lily on a woodsy base. Silage is between soft and moderate. It's quite nice. A bit of a skin scent.

Springtime is approaching and I somehow feel the need to HAVE a new perfume. So many new releases all the time, so many to crave and want! The crazy thing, is that I look and look, but somehow end up not feeling the need to buy, because I am kind of stuck on Flash. Normally, I get bored with a scent after a while. I cannot remember the last time (if any) that I have actually emptied a bottle! But something about Flash keeps me grabbing for it. It is sweet, but not in a gourmand kind of way. It is floral, but not in a dryer sheet kind of way. It seems musky, even though none is listed as being present in the composition. It's not listed on their website anymore, I don't know if it's being discontinued, but I bought five back up bottles of this juice! Yes, five. I just find it easy to wear, inoffensive, yet it has just enough "strangeness" to keep it interesting and not too mainstream. I really DO love this!

*_Lilly_*

I agree with previous commenter that this is best worn in cooler weather as it can be a cloying floral. I love the top note, the first spray... yumm... Not sure I will wear this much? I am more a gourmand/vanilla/oriental or Philosophy AG kinda girl ;)
I need to wear this more to get a more final say on if it's a keeper or not. I mean it was on clearance so yes I'll probably keep it but I do not reach for this or am in the mood for this hardly ever
Floral. It's a white floral alllll the way :) Just like it says in description. I have JC Exotic (2014- the orange bottle). These two are nooooothing alike. And this is NOT at ALL even close to Dior Hypnotic Poison!! >.< lol ;p

beatrix75

Actually how much I wear so much I start to appreciate this fragrance! It's far away from dolce the one not too much about hymn poison like I thought before on me it's more like Lilly and strawberry whit lite musk in it even if it's not mentioned the musk tones, the pink pepper make it mor sexy and spicy, however I love the way this perfume envelope on me 9/10

beatrix75

100/ hypnotic Poison its good but ... i missed something

Jane Raff

Smells like a lighter olympea ,very long lasting

Victoria Regia

I agree with zvrkic. There is a family resemblance between this and D&G The One. Both have a musky note that comes across as cheap to my nose. They don't smell alike per se, but have a similar feeling in my opinion. I dislike both of them for this reason. I used to own a bottle of Flash, and thought it smelled like tuberose, strawberry and the unpleasant musky note I mentioned before. Overall, it'soft and floral. I can see why so many people like it, and would not mind being next to someone wearing it, but it's not for me.

cmagjo04

One fragrance I will always repurchase. Soft white floral, musk, lovely! It lasts for hours on the skin and is pleasantly strong, not overpowering. It's the easiest Jimmy Choo to wear during the day and my favourite to date- after the original which I only wear at night. I'd love to try the London club version!

perfumelovermadz

This smells absolutely delicious on me. It is a scent that suits cooler days more, yet I have been wearing it in Summer and the compliments seem to be never ending. A friend described it as 'cinnamon apples' on me. Not too sure that matches the scents in the description, but if it smells good and attracts compliments - it's a big yes from me.

The lasting power is also very good - I can still smell it almost 8 hours after my first spray. I bought this perfume as an every day doing the chores kind of smell and it has now become one I wear on special occasions too.

*_Lilly_*

Oh and my all time fave if Dior HP and this has NO resemblance whatsoever!

*_Lilly_*

New buy on clearance tonight... Sprayed on paper and liked it enough to try and price was right. So far my first comment about this is soft but strong (weird I know lol) white floral. Will update when I wear it longer on skin ;)

toni64

Blind bought this perfume after reading the reviews . Wanted to like this perfume but it just smelled so cheap and the smell hung around all day ,tried washing it off . The sign you've brought a good perfume is you cant smell it on yourself but everybody else can , so this perfume failed.

I think my body chemistry matches very good with Jimmy choo perfumes.I like all of them.
Perfume I use at work is very important for me because I am a make-up artist and I am in close interaction with people.Jimmy choo flash is one of the best.I put it in my drawer in salon and I use it everyday before starting my job.everyday people talk about my lovely perfume and it makes no body feel bad or headache.most people say that it smells like body powder or body lotion but a very nice and expensive one.clean and delicious in a creamy way.I can smell no pepper. It's not very spicy for me.I can smell delicious fruit and soft flowers and vanilla. It's strange there isn't vanilla in list because I smell lots of vanilla but not like a candy or cake.it's soft vanilla.flowers are soft too not heavy old style.flash is modern and casual.it's soft but not light.it has good longevity and moderate sillage.I can't say I love it but I like it very much.if I have ten bottles of flash I know I can use all because it don't make me tierd and I can use it always in days but I like more elegant sexy and heavy perfumes for night party and date

WOW! So glad I gave this a shot, it is so much different from what I remember at the store years ago.

On me, I get zero fruitiness, no strawberry at all. It opens up with a powdery pink pepper. After about fifteen minutes, it becomes a woody, powdery, tuberose!

I actually get a lot of woodiness from this, sort of like pencil shavings. It has a creaminess about it, but also remains fairly sharp for about a half hour after applying.

In all honesty, I think this would have sold much better, if put into a different bottle. The color of the juice, along with the bottle design, imply a more immature, playful image. Had it been sold in a simpler bottle design, maybe similar to Narciso Rodriguez, it might have gotten a wider audience of a bit older age group.

The perfumer of this scent is also the one responsible for NR, and I can definitely smell and feel a signature musky presence in this as well.

Don't let the bottle design put you off. But be advised, don't let the fruits in this be your guide to if you think you will like it. If you do not enjoy tuberose, steer clear of this one.

Erinbath22

I just got that giddy feeling after trying this today that this fragrance was made for my nose. Like I had discovered some great secret. I then started reading through some reviews in disbelief that anyone else could dislike it! But that's the beauty of scent, I guess... different flavors for appetites.
This has that (not Alien) but sorta like Alien strangeness, like sort of a spice or medicinal quality that just hits me right. That, and a lovely strawberry/creamy floral blended with the pink pepper. I should have known this had tuberose and lily, two creamy flower smells adding beautiful richness to the fruit.
I'll characterize this as the "magic strawberry."
Juvenile? Cheap? Not to me. I feel this is one of the most special perfumes I've smelled. It doesn't seem to take itself too seriously. It makes me swoon, and I guess that is all I was really looking for. I absolutely love this and must be on the lookout for it. Happy sniffing, people!
Edit: uh oh. I found out that this perfume makes me dizzy/nauseous. I blame the tuberose which much just be too much for me here. Definitely not a safe buy unless tested out.

milano1214

I would be careful on blind buying this. Luckily, they had a tester at kohls. It smelled like alien on me with A LOT of pepper..... maybe, it was an old bottle. I was so looking forward to smelling strawberries....

MissAnnette

It is not very often when I want to scrub off a fragrance. There is something about this perfume that makes my stomach churn. I suspect it's the overdose of synthetic smelling strawberry that you often find as car freshener. I'm so disappointed bec I expect a lot from this perfume as this is by one of my favorite nose Christine Nagel who also created Guerlain Gourmand Coquin, Miss Dior Chérie and Jo Malone Ginger Biscuit.

PinkRainbow

Just got a sample of this. What a perfect jewel. Soft white floral with a subtle hint of berries. You will love it in a flash!

Eau de Nikita

First time I smelt this I said to myself this has to be the perfume Cinderella wore to find the glass slippers and bought two bottles. A year later I purchase a tester and it's the same scent. Now I just get a creamy tuberose medicine scent. My mom said I smelled good like "oranges that have been put in a paper bag in a cellar in southern Georgia." I feel like it's a fall winter fragrance. But still I believe any fragrance can be worn in any weather it just depends in how much u apply in hot weather.

unsrsly

Now that I think about it this really does smell like toothpaste, as mentioned below. It has a minty aspect to it which doesn't quite make sense when looking at the notes. I used to enjoy it for the strawberry, white floral and slightly spicy and sharp pink pepper but now it is just sweet toothpaste.

Kai'elle

Simple light White Floral. I only smell the Pink Pepper in the opening very briefly - then the Strawberry steals the show. The White Flowers are blended quite well...no one note stands out to me..though I do find the overall result a little sharp for my liking. I do enjoy a floral perfume but I tend to favor a deeper, creamier blend.

A nice introduction for those wanting to move away from Vanilla and Patchouli and explore the world of Floral. Soft silage. Fresh and easy daytime wear.

Ariana.b

This one bloomes on my skin! I like it so much and everytime I wear it I get compliments. It's so strange that a lot of people find it synthetic, I really think that it is beautiful and sparkling. I purchased this one because I smelled such a gorgeous lily, to me that flower is the dominant note. Then comes the tuberose, and the strawberry only gives warmth and sweetness. I don't know if I would repurchase but for now I will wear this one with pleasure.

Shimoldeam

I have to disagree with, well, pretty much everyone on here! I disliked this intensely, I thought it dry, overpowering and far too sweet. To me it smells like something marketed at teenagers (I'm 32). I will say the staying power in impressive though, as I have tried to scrub it off and its still here, probably the cause of this headache!

blake.lee

I've been on an exhaustive and expensive search for a soft, sweet pink pepper scent and finally my search is over! This is exactly what I was looking for. The most prominent notes are pink pepper followed by heliotrope and strawberry and then a nice soft vanilla. It's very cosy and girly.

Soofiya

Oh my my,what an amazing scent for such an affordable price,it's beyond my expectations!
I love white florals, tuberose and lily are my beloved ones but I mostly need a fruity note to balance their heavy indolic creaminess to turn them to a wearable fragrance for me
In jimmy choo flash there IS this balance, there is a fruity note,a non synthetic strawberry, that stands besides soft spiced white floral cream and adds youthfulness and freshness to this warm cashmer florals, flash is feminine and gorgeously delicious...I can mostly pickup strawberry, tuberose, heliotrope and vanilla..it's very strange that vanilla isn't listed as a note, maybe heliotrope is tricking my nose and playing the role of a soft powdered vanilla?! I can feel pink pepper just in the opening, and I'm not a fan of it but drydown is truly Devine, creamy white florals, sparkly strawberry, soft powdered heliotrope,I can't get enough of it
I'm going to use it in Summer nights, also spring and fall, day or night and winter days,it's a 4season perfume and better be used in mild weather.I can't see resemblances between this and hp,just creaminess and soft delicious powder in both of them but overall they are very different to my nose
Staying power is very good, more than 6 hours with recognizable projection,I looove my gorgeous 2 Oz bottle
❤❤❤❤

genny17

I see no comparison with Hypnotic Poison, yet it stands on its own merits. it smells feminine, blended smooth white florals with a fruity vibe , I truly like it!! I just dislike the plasticky harsh dry edge of HP..!? Flash is interesting, it lasts long enough. Smells great, and is wearable all seasons I think..for the price it is a very likeable scent, even if it isn't outstanding...I like to have it in my collection it smells womanly, modern still...

polkadot27

I don't know whether it is laughable or offensive that people are comparing this concoction to hypnotic poison. It will never be on that level. Hypnotic poison is a refined master piece. This is the furtherest thing from. This perfume is nice for a teenager and may be fun. I think this is girly, but not at all womanly. It is cheap smelling, gaudy and tacky like the bottle it is in really.

I am a fan of the original Jimmy Choo's very classy smelling- But this absolutely not- this is like Jimmy Choo's fickle younger ostentatious sister.

There is absolutely nothing deep dark mysterious or alluring about this fragrance.

P.s. this fragrance is very popular among chavs, which adds further insult to injury for me.

Miss-Fragrance62

Je ne le trouve plus sur les boutiques de ventes en ligne. Est il discontinué?

blythespiritpurpleflower

I tried a dab of Alien body cream the other day and it really reminded me of Jimmy Choo Flash. Similar opening, with white flowers, both have Jasmine. And the dry down was warm almost wintergreen ambery woods. Both are lovely, and mysterious.

anosh313

Lovely soft woody fruity fragrance

preslavapopova

Totally not impressed with this one. All I got was white floral - no fruits or spices, only white lilly and some tuberose. Clean, safe, office friendly...and boring scent. Moderate longevity and heavy sillage, more of a spring and summer scent.

EllenD1991

Wearing this today. So I've had this for a few years now got it one Christmas. I have looked at the other reviews and then sniffed my wrist again.. it does have a slight resemblance to HP! Weird because I never saw that before. But I find if you have a light sniff on first spray you can smell the similarities between the two. Also to me it seems similar to Christina Aguilera - By Night? I dont really know how this is meant to make you feel but I dont feel very "flashy". I just think it is a pleasant fragrance to wear in the day mainly, but can be good for the evening too. Longevity is good! Sillage also - someone who walked past me at work just told me I smell great :)

nvenus

I didn't analyze this enough to go into details but the overall scent were similar to Loverdose by Diesel, but it's maybe different after a while...
Not something I had expect or want to use but still wearable

aqua76239

I saw this at TJ Maxx for 24.99 and thought of getting it but didn't want to risk another blind buy disaster as I recall smelling it when it first came out and was like "meh". so I went to Jimmy choo store, smelled it there and decided it was worth having.
I don't know about tangerine as I smell zero traces of anything citrusy. It opens up a bit peppery but immediately launches into "dry" white floral that its NOT sweet, and has somewhat of a chypre feeling.
for the life of me I cant understand how can anyone think this is sweet and resemble Hypnotic Poison. I think it actually resembles Pure Poison quite a bit. I think if you like one, you will definitely like the other. This is a rather interesting departure from other Jimmy choo scents which are ALL sweet

elmizakamarulzaman

A total blind buy from the internet. I didn't expect anything great from Jimmy Choo as I don't really favour Jimmy Choo Jimmy Choo -- tad overpowered to my nose. Upon receiving I straight away open it and spray onto my skin, it's smell ahhhh so fresh, 'flash', something different to my nose. Once in a while I detected a fresh linen and mint even though the notes aren't in the list. A little complex scent, white floral but not too flowery, fruity but not sweet with noticeable woody and fresh spices scent. Longevity - quite impressive, silage - good too. Housemates noticed that I'm wearing a new scent even though she's sitting about 5 meters away from me -- heavy but not overpowering or pungent. I love my blind purchase.

Update: The longevity is excellent -- I must say. I sprayed at 8.00am, I still can smell this lovely fragrance even now, 4pm. If I could still smell this at 6pm later, wait no longer -- I'llorder the second bottle immediately.

AngelEuphoria

I detect something sour in the dry down. It's as if some of the notes are competing rather than complementing each other. I do however love Jimmy Choo Stars.

Cookietookie215

I just received this in a swap and I fell in love at first sniff. It smells very and I mean VERY similar to Dior's Hypnotic poison and HP Sensuelle. I tested all three side by side and they definitely are related. Flash's opening is fresh, tart fruit and peppory but 5 minutes later that subsides and it becomes Dior's little sister. So warm, sensual and mysterious. The longevity and sillage are amazing, it really does linger and stay on the all day. This is definitely (in my opinion) a cheaper alternative to HP or HP Sensuelle. This perfume is perfect for clubs or special occasions, its meant to linger and leave an impression. It has a very seductive aura about it. You want Dior but dont want to put a dent in your wallet, try Flash first. ;)

Scrilla

Received a sample of this in a swap with Perfume Whore. What a lovely surprise! I was always curious. I love white florals these days and have a soft spot for the gaudy bottle.

What surprised me was that there is no vanilla flower listed! If you like the Body Shop Madagascan Vanilla Flower and HP Eau Sensuelle, you will enjoy this. They don't smell the same but have similar characteristics.

EDIT: Just saw the nose is Christine Nagel. That makes sense. She makes such wonderful feminine blends.

hot_tamalie

Sitting here wondering why I didn't discover this gem sooner but hey, I'm really glad I received this as a gift. I am in love with this fragrance. Just like someone pointed out down below me I too can smell vanilla even though the note isn't listed. This one smells better than the original Jimmy Choo to me. I layered this one with the body lotion and might I add smells identical to the perfume. I sprayed this on last night and woke up and could still smell the scent so it can easily last well over 7 hours! Don't sleep on this one guys! The only world I have to describe this scent is that it smells LUXURIOUS!!

DIVa999

One beautiful bouquet of sweet white flowers, sprinkled with pepper. Strange mix? Not at all! FLASH reminds me of Dolce&Gabbana L'eau The One. I bought D&G, spending the winter 10 years ago on a seaside. This beautiful mix of salty, humid chilly air and aura of D&G enveloped me in a smoke of dreams... Life goes on in circles, I live on a seaside again. And FLASH came into my life now. A little bit more sweet and less spicy, bright pink/lavender (I mean the color) scent surrounds me. I love the mix of tuberose and white lillies, strawberries and blond wood. Not seductive for men. It's not a relationship, it is a promise of future, it is a young girl's dream about how it all suppose to be. I never met a man who'd like it. Girly stuff, unfortunately.

perfumemad62

I am a big fan of all the Jimmy Choo perfumes and this one was my latest purchase. I have to say, I don't understand all the hate Flash gets!

Flash is a peppery, sweet floral and woody scent however it has a freshness to it. The strawberry isn't sickly sweet, I think it is quite tart. Very girly, sophisticated and clean. In the drydown, I swear I smell a beautiful vanilla but there is no mention of it! Maybe I'm going crazy?! Lasts around 7 hours and has moderate sillage.

Overall, another beautiful perfume from Jimmy Choo! Perfect for daily wear, shopping, going to work or lunch dates. It reminds me of a young professional woman, who is serious & business-like but still has a girly, innocent side to her!

Highly recommended!

KDobiecki

This is a floraly-spice. At first sniff, it smells almost fruity, but that only lasts for a moment. I smell warm, spicy floral. If you smell the nozzle, it smells light and spring/summery. But wearing it-- with it's warm, lingering spice and flowers... it's definitely a fall/winter scent for me. It's enjoyable, when I'm in the mood for something on the heavier side. Not a care-free everyday scent for me.

sugahuni

A lovely,floral fragrance.Fantastic longevity and sillage.Pretty, projects brilliantly. A pleasure to wear☺

oblivion

Flash is great for summer nights and....pretty much for no other seasons. Fruitty-floral-synthetic vanilla type affair. It is conventionally feminine, sweet, but doesn't have much of a personality. The opening is very floral, then Flash turnes into artificially sweetened cherry drops with a lot of sweet vanilla. Girlie girls' perfume.

almarie

I may be selling this one too in the near future as this does give me a headache:( Though it's beautiful, and I do love it- what a shame!

Heliotropea

Try mixing it with Azzaro Club for women !

personagrata

If you want the hypnotic poison eau sensuelle for summer, with less but decent sillage and good longevity, this one is for you. I swear , the dry down is identical to hp eau sensuelle. I like the opening more than the dry down though.

gawerika

Definitely with a monster sillage and longevity is tops.
I could smell it constantly throughout the wear to a point that it was too cloying and gave me splitting headache though I am sure that it will make a great signature if your chemistry blends well with it.

Vegas Pauli

Sickly sweet, powdery and a little cheap smelling. Something in this coats the back of my throat when I get a whiff of it. Killer projection too, this stuff must be made from nuclear waste.Thumbs down.

nickhi1984

My secret affair... I went out, set on purchasing Jimmy Choo Jimmy Choo, but when I tested it I was horrified! The sales lady suggested I try Flash. Oh my word!!! It was love at first sniff. I can't get enough of this gorgeous juice. It's sweet peppery strawberry, beautiful for any occassion. I like changing it up every day, but I wear Flash at least 3 times a week. I am absolutely addicted! If this should ever be discontinued, I would be at a loss. I will buy a bottle of this every second month, just to be sure that I never run out

celebrity89

My nose receptors are in the Hypnotic Poison camp. I also pick up Just Cavalli, even more so!

Nikkafragrance

Yesterday my mom and I tested it. She fell in love with it, me myself not so much. It's very fruity, if you are looking for a nice summer strawberry frag, this is the scent for you. However bear in mind that it's not a gourmand. I smelled something soapy in it, I suppose it's the lily. The sillage is quite good.

LisaLovesPerfume

I have been wearing this for the past week. I had to let you all know that I received an inordinate amount of compliments on this fragrace. In fact, two compliments today! This is a winner. And I have four bottles...but I am sure that I will purchase at least two more after this week's reaction. Love this fragrance and apparently there are a lot of people that agree! I HIGHLY recommend this one!

WildDove

Flash is a strawberry fruity floral but very well done. Big sillage, optimistic, cheerful, upbeat. Flash reminds me a lot of Chance EDT, while Chance has the pineapple note instead of strawberry. Both have the bakery-vanilla thing going on. Flash does not officially have patchouli, but these two fragrances vibe very similarly to me.

LisaLovesPerfume

I have a happy story to share with you about Flash. Before I left to run errands, I sprayed Flash on my hair and clothes. After getting home, I fell asleep. When I woke, the first thing I noticed was that something smelled fantastic. I looked around and I realized it was my hair. Flash is a beautiful fragrance. Having Flash wake me up, being all over my clothes and hair, was the best way to begin the evening.

SoheePark

The fragrance is GORGEOUS. the bottle, the smell, the sillage and longevity. However, its chemistry with my skin sucks. I cant remember what it smelled like- maybe an oilment. But it smelled so bad! Not like on paper. Test b4 u buy. I feel so mad with my own skin lol. I wish this perfume would smell on me like it smells on paper gahh

Gemini12

Something about my chemistry does not work with this fragrance. It started out very sweet with a touch of pepper but quickly morphed into a floral with a minty undertone that reminded me of sore muscle ointment (i.e. Ben-Gay). As the dry down continued the florals were replaced more and more with the mintiness. I'm not sure why this went straight to muscle ointment mint on me, but I was able to detect enough of the other notes to assume that this could smell much better on others. This is an usual one and I would definitely recommend trying before buying.

sassa7

First time I wore it I kept wondering who smells so nice! till I realized it was me lol. Excellent silage. Interesting smell, gorgeous lilac bottle and the color fits the scent perfectly. It brings to my mind images of lavender flowers. Only downside is the strong and a bit synthetic dry down. Elegant perfume.

ShoppinQueen

I agree with Megamind.
It's a dupe to D&G The One.

Megamind

The sparkling opening of aromatic sweet strawberries and a hint of tangerine is awesome.
Middle notes appear very quickly about 10-15 minutes later. Tuberose is the most prominent one. I saw somewhere in the reviews the description "bubblegummy tuberose" and absolutely agree. Sweet aromatic tuberose on the blanket of pink pepper and jasmine with lilly reminds me a lot D&G "the one". It is the same bubblegummy sugar quality with the only difference that in "the one" it is rather litchi and peach and in Flash it's tuberose and strawberry. The both are sweet fruity flowery. Flash is slightly lighter and less heavy then "the one" but nevertheless is more appropriate for winter as is still too heavy and too sweet for spring and summer. It's a sunny warm fragrance with a heavy silage and very long lasting power. Can easily be worn in night clubs and for evening parties.

Susan_b

This is an inoffensive scent that is versatile. It's nice but I wouldn't pay full price for it. I purchased it on clearance and it's my go to when I am running errands; it's nice enough to get noticed however it's not special enough to wear anywhere fancy.

Side bar: Maybe I am missing something but considering how much I had to shell out for a pair of shoes I would have expected Jimmy Choo perfume ( in general) to be more sophisticated. The scents ( the ones I've smelled) are nice but no where near high end. There is no wow factor.

demijimmychoo

Love love love it last all day good 4 spring and summer 200% awesomeness

angiec777

There's something about this one that I dislike. It seems a bit synthetic to me but that may just be my nose interpreting the floral notes. I tested it in Target and almost felt like I didn't want people to walk past and smell it on me. Of course this was right after spraying it when it was at it's strongest. The pink pepper and tuberose were immediately apparent. And it dries down to Lucky You but with just a bit more tangerine sweetness. I will say this about it, though, it lasts! And it has great projection. The scent doesn't suit me personally but I think it would be great for someone who is looking for Lucky You with a bit more flash.

Centsless

I dislike the strong sweet opening, but past that it is overall enjoyable. I like the minty, bubblegummy tuberose with a dash of pepper and jasmine. Once they settle down, you get a nice spicy white-floral fragrance. I would say this is better for early spring, because I think it could be overwhelming when it warms up. Great staying power and sillage, more so than I expected.

Update: a month went by and I kept thinking about Flash and the magical bubblegum tuberose. I needed a sample so here I am, declaring this quirky, temperamental and synthetic smelling thing a new love... It may not be for everyone or even for most people but there's just something addicting here, for me.. Not gonna try to fight my nose with logic it never works ;)

FloralMoonlight

I tested this in Kohls yesterday and I have very mixed feelings about it. The initial blast is a very harsh, cheap candy kind of smell. I almost washed it off, but I decided to wait for it to dry. I walked around the store and it improved, but still wasn't anything special. Kind of disappointing for Jimmy Choo. And then I went outside into the cold and it morphed into a sweet floral, appropriate for winter. It lost the strawberry candy harshness and ended up being more crisp. I think weather is a big factor for this fragrance. It still isn't too great, but it's decent and could be different depending on your skin chemistry. I recommend testing it before purchasing.

caitrun

Opens with bright tangerine, pink pepper, strawberry and as others have stated, something oddly minty. very sweet but spicy, bordering on cloying but somehow intriguing. As it dries down it remains sweet and spicy but a vanillic powderiness kicks in. It avoids its potential of becoming cloying by somehow never being too strong, it lingers but in a soft manner. I do not believe it smells like Dior Hypnotic Poison, HP has a vibrant almond note and is deeper, darker, and stronger. On me this fragrance is very similar to Dolce & Gabbana's The One. I almost wouldn’t categorize this as a floral, yes it has floral notes but it is so much more. If I had to pick I’d say Oriental-Floral.

Edit-Sheesh does this stuff last, and last annnnndddd last! Like 24+ hrs in my hair, no joke!

jovejove

Discontinued in Canada. Don't know if that also may result in an international discontinuation.

alex.the.girl

The initial blast of strawberry prompted my husband to ask "What smells like Kool Aid?!". Fortunately the strawberry was totally gone from my skin in about 5 minutes. Before I read the description and reviews here, I could have sworn I was smelling honey... I do get the comparisons to HP by Dior. I also agree that this has a minty quality, and the comparison to the retro square bazooka Joe bubblegum is spot on, with a extra dose of sort of generic white floral. To me, this scent has no depth or soul, but would be nice if you need a break from scents with big personality.

Pictelf

A friend of mine at work has this and its lovely when she walks past. It lasts most of the day yet doesn't feel overpowering. I bought it for myself after finding that Prada Candy L'eau didn't work on my skin and wanted something to alternate from P.C. Florale. I have to admit that I can't really describe it well, it does seem to vary wildly depending on folks skin from the reviews.
I think maybe a cooler weather one, the sweeter notes could be quite cloying. I would either wear it on my wrists or a light spray down on my torso (I suppose I should suggest the pulse point at the backs of the knees but I mostly wear jeans), too spicy for cleavage and you don't get the lighter notes that sit further out. I probably wouldn't spray it on my neck for the same reason.

After trying to find a signature fragrance for years (one that both I and my boyfriend love) this is the first one I have "really liked" and he "loved," so I guess that's a match. I typically like creamy, spicy orientals, and he likes fresh fragrances or gourmands (see the impasse?). When I do like florals, they are floral-orientals. I went out of my comfort zone with this one as it is very, very sweet, and I get the same minty undertone many others have noticed (where the heck is that coming from)? Yet what I like about this scent is it feels sexy and feminine, and is nicely grounded at the base in warm notes to prevent it from being your every day generic, fresh, airy floral. The dry down is better than the opening, the longevity is excellent, sillage good. A wonderful wonderful wonderful concoction is layering this with Atelier Santal Carmin!!!

lkha37

The first time I smelt this I thought ice cream soda! It really gives an impression of a creamy sweet fizzy feeling just like the drink. To me, this is a sparkling happy scent. Floral, creamy with subtle spices. Love it as it brings back happy memories of enjoying the sweet fizzy soda during my childhood. It's quite strong so spray lightly.

belle2.0

On my skin this a sweet, sparkling floral. It opens up with pink pepper and synthetic, juicy fruit. The initial spray is a little bit too sharp, but it quickly settles as the white floral notes become more prominent. I think the tuberose and jasmine are the strongest floral notes in this fragrance, combined with a hint of pepper and some sweetness from the fruit. On my skin the floral notes become more balanced as the fragrance wears on. The dry down is woody, although a hint of sparkling, fruit-sweetened white flowers still remains. The sillage and longevity are good (although that may vary depending on the person and the weather). The bottle isn't spectacular, but I do like it. This fragrance actually reminds me of Radiance by Britney Spears, except Radiance is more creamy while Flash has a sparkling, peppery element to it. Overall I like this perfume and I think it can be worn by anyone in their 20s and beyond, at any time of the day.

Allary

Sweet but fresh, but a tad too peppery to my liking. I don't really like pepper smells but I kept wondering if I really did like this one as the pepper almost seemed like a breath of fresh air. If the strawberry and floral scents hung around a bit longer I would probably like it more and consider purchasing it.

pixiewinks

I like this more then Jimmy Choo sig EDP which i think is way too musky for me. This is more floral and a bit sweet but no way is it gourmand. I'm not crazy about the top notes which surprised me because i typically love strawberry in fragrances but then it settled into something nice. This perfume is Glam... night out on the town in NYC, actually for some reason it makes me think of what the sex in the city girls might wear.
I like it but not enough to buy it.
scent: 7.5

LisaLovesPerfume

Love this fragrance. The quality reminds of Dior. Flash is a nice departure from the market saturation of fruity/gourmand scents.

kay_dee

Opening is so unique....never smell anything like it. The drydown is so vanillary and a bit powdery ..reminds me of d&g the one. Soft and feminine

chester

Don't let this one fool you. The top notes really are NOT my taste but it settles down very nicely. I just have to ignore it for the first ten minutes, then the base notes are what I love.

I agree with the others who have said it reminds them of Hypnotic Poison. I have been going back and forth between testers of Pure Poison and Hypnotic Poison lately and I think Flash smells like the two put together. It's sweet and floral but not overly one or the other.

Great scent that really is for all occasions unless you're into something green or fresh. It lasts a long time too, especially on clothes. Look for this one at the big discount stores to save some $$!

damewolf13

On my skin this is a lovely, light, fresh floral with a liberal dose of pink pepper. It is this pink pepper note and the slight hint of a wood note that sets this scent apart from the typical white floral perfume. It is the perfect scent for daytime lunch dates, and workplace wear. Never overpowering, but quietly present, leaving a lightly scented trail wherever you go for 3 or 4 hours.

Niya

Beautiful. Got this on sale on a local online store at a fraction of a fraction of the price (no that wasn't a typo). This does smell A LOT like Hypnotic Poison.

Peta22

Yup... I see the similarity between this and Hypnotic Poison although I think this is much less intense and I can see when that would be an advantage. I love both of them! HP is so warm and creamy and I get vanilla from it even though it's apparently not there? Anyway, I do find myself going back to my miniature time and time again and I always enjoy the fragrance I dab on... I see a full bottle in the future although I've bought too many lately so JC Flash will have to wait.
Oh, and although the miniature bottle looks a bit tacky, that is often the case in miniatures... I'm interested to see a full size one - it looks quite cool in photos (maybe that's because I'm also a photographer!)

...My Boyfriends Favorite Perfume...

And mine. I just felt so happy because he loved my favorite to...without me saying anything.

Varm cosy white floral, powdery touch and spicy feeling.

Really a light statement. (Heavy but not as heavy as real statements. More like a every day one.)
"Cosy woman with a clear mind of what she wants..."

Dawndelights

The smell makes me think of marzipan must be the combination of the different notes combined together

WildDove

A light and spacious strawberry fragrance that can play well on a warm spring or summer day. Flash likes to expand into large open spaces. Huge sillage. Good longevity.

Yay me

I love it sexy young and fresh and like I didn't smell till yet like it wow !!!!!!!

leahjowen

Own it, never wear it and when I have been tempted and thought 'it's not really that bad' and spray some for a change, I always end up washing it off. It is the sort of fragrance a 13 yr old girl playing grown up would buy from the market.

blue_belle

I really like this one! The pepper note sticks around for a long time, but it's just a light touch of spice. There's a lot of wood in this one, which I love, and it blends with the fruit in a pretty, fresh way. When I tried this yesterday I got almost no flowers out of it at all, just a lot of fruit and wood, but it lasted through the day and was soft and nice the whole time. I've been looking for a day perfume and this might be it!

tessgreenham

I just bought this fragrance yesterday and I wasn't completely sure how I was going to feel about it because of the pink pepper, but then I though that i probably wouldn't even smell it, this was not true. You can totally smell the pink pepper in this, and I thought I wouldn't like that BUT I LOVE IT. First of all, I put this on right after I got it at about 2:45 PM yesterday, it is now 11:39 AM of the next day and it is still on my SKIN, usually if fragrances stay at all overnight it's on your hair or clothes but this stayed on my SKIN after like one or two sprays more than 12 hours ago. So it is super long lasting, and the silage isn't like super intense but I like that because then when people get close to you they just get this amazing whiff of you and they go "wow you smell good" it's a very pretty fragrance and the bottle is dope, I would suggest going for it.

InfirmièreParfumée

Jimmy Choo shoes can kiss my a** BUT this FLASH fragrance has seen the better of it !

I love this nice and and pleasant scent from this designer. It was a true blind buy indeed. One day I was shopping at Macy's and stumbled accross this nice periwinkle-blue chubby chubby square bottle with a flat round top. It was cheap too ! Why not ?

This fragrance is not very sweet, something one can wear everyday. I got an instant compliment the day I wore it for the first time. The lady at the coffee shop said, "You smell excellent !" I was like "Oh wow !" in my head.

Next on my list is the red bottle. Forgive me if I can't recall the name but I will review it once I get a hold !

Flash by Jimmy Choo is very promising even for the young at heart. I recommend it for day wear. It can be worn even among crowds, it is not over powering even if it is long-lasting.

kpw4

I bought this on line based on the description, but sadly it gives me a headache

sherapop

I've given up attempting to compare twenty-first century fragrances to twentieth-century perfumes. In the case of Jimmy Choo Flash, I feel that the only comparisons which make much sense are with the predecessor namesakes. I find no resemblance between this juice and Dior Hypnotic Poison, which many Fragrantica reviewers do find. Of course, I have yet to smell the reformulation of that perfume...

The good news is that Flash is my favorite so far in this series. The bad news is that 1000 x 0 = 0. Okay, that was a bit of an exaggeration. This smells better than the average totally abstract chemical soup. I see that the designer was Christine Nagel, who has produced many fine perfumes. This is not one of them, but relative to the other Jimmy Choos, Flash is pretty good.

But what does it smell like? you may well be wondering. It's a slightly more floral and somewhat spicy fruity-floral. The bottle is a fair indication of the quality of the materials inside, but people are getting more and more used to this stuff. Pretty soon I'll start to feel like the old person who laments in a creaky voice "I remember when a hamburger cost a nickel!" Except that I'll be saying: "I remember when plant life was sacrificed in the production of a perfume!"

Velvet_Touch

An effevescent floral fragrance, whose strawberry, pink pepper and tangerine notes mix perfectly. When it dries down, you can feel the tuberose, jasmine and white lily coming through, to enchant your senses. The woody base makes it more sophisticated. I can't wait to get it and wear it!!!

babypink_fairish

A unique smell I found myself drawn to. At first it smelled like sarsaparilla (which is interesting to me) then the sarsaparilla smell resided and it still smelled good and I really liked it. It's sparkling..if you can use that word for a smell. Somewhat sweet but not too much, it's a different fresh feeling (like drinking soda). I'd love to have it.

pravda48

Oversimplified late-night, first impression review: opening is juicy tart strawberry goodness (what? I like strawberry notes now?!) and very well blended tuberose, gentle jasmine, and lily. After 45 mins or so it starts to have marshmallowy tones, the now more settled/smooth white florals, and pink pepper sweetness. I really really like it! Sillage is good so far.

EDIT TO ADD, after swapping for a FB:

This scent has managed an interesting blend: the pleasant tartness of a not-quite ripe strawberry w/ the sweet creaminess of pink pepper and jasmine. Just a touch of tuberose fullness to round it out makes for a fresh & semisweet tart white floral. Different and fun, this is a compliment getter on me so far.

The lily I first detected is really only there in the opening. The jasmine really takes over in the floral department as it's worn in with just a smidge of tuberose. Again I'd like to add the strawberry in this is TART, not the kind that goes so syrupy and often offputting in other fragrances. (i.e. nowhere near as sweet as Valentina's strawberry notes)

--Longevity: mod, 5 or 6 hrs @3sprays on arms
--Sillage: great! (judging by...)
--Compliments?: usually! from strangers

P.S. Can't vouche for Eau Sensuelle but really, this is NOT LIKE HYPNOTIC POISON. This is tangy/tart, no coconut/almond, much less 'plush' creamy sugaryness. This is closer to (name a fragrance with raspberry zing + pink pepper) than Hypnotic...

happycapybara

strawberry + pepper + tuberose + jasmine = WOW!
I like this better than the original Jimmy Choo, (shocking!) because it is unusual and has a distinctiveness about it. It is a little sharp at the opening, but the entrance of the strawberry later on makes up for it. It is not overly sweet, and I feel a zingy ZIP of energy from the pepper. I am a tuberose girl (most of the time) and I love it here. On my skin this is much more floral than fruity. I think the bottle is adorable like a 1970's flashbulb, very clever. I am looking forward to trying out the London Club version. I like this scent very much, it is a unique addition to my collection.
Sillage - 7/10
Longevity - 7/10
overall- 7/10

ScarlettX

This is an interesting white floral scent with spicy pink pepper. Something about it makes me sneeze. I see how it was supposed to shining and dazzling, but for me it's just a little too sharp.
So it's not very good in my opinion, but I must say it has very good sillage and longevity.
I guess I was hoping more because of the amazing Jimmy choo Jimmy choo line.

blackw0lfx

so weird! tuberose, strawberry, pepper, and lily. i think its the strawberry in there making it weird on me. i think its a fine fragrance. suited towards an under 40 yr old crowd. i think a little too much tuberose for my tastes. business professional all the way to casual. okay the more i smell it the more i am drawn to it. so weird! i think this could be worn day or night. i think it would make a great party fragrance. while it does seem a little young it doesnt come off as trashy to me. like a young rich girl going to party. i think this might be perfect with jeans and a trendy top.

Coconutmusk

So funny to see the number one "smells like" is Hypnotic Poison because that is EXACTLY how this sits on my skin! Must be the tuberose in common. Anyway, I have liked this since I first tested it, but admittedly I've only sprayed it in the air or on paper. Today I went sniffing and actually put it on my skin. After it dried down I got that familiar glue, hot paper (like inky and out of a printer or fax) cheap vanilla candle and slightly plastic smell. I went crazy trying to figure out where I've smelt that EXACT formula before and then it hit me....DUH! How could I forget the Hypnotic Poison debacle of 2013? On my skin, this is a dead ringer for HP.

Spencemonster

Smelled this again at macys. I need this!!! I forgot how much of a peppery smell this has!!! Reminded me today of pepper and licorice?!? Anyone else get that? I must buy ASAP!!

LouPerry

I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE!
The first time I tried this I thought 'Oh wow, that's actually really nice!'
it was only maybe a week later that I bought a 60 ml bottle after having a sample.
I think it is fairly unusual. A floral fragrance I think, with top notes as nice as the base notes. Which stick around forever; most of my coats and jackets smell of it.
Definitely a favourite, that I think I will replace when I run out of; I think I would miss it too much!

happygeisha

i am pink pepper's bitch. anything with pink pepper in it seems to work incredibly well with my chemistry, FLASH included.

i get an initial and rather bold blast of sticky sweet tuberose upon first spritz. its kind of unbearable at first so i have to literally hang my head out of my car window and swallow in large gulps of air or i'll overwhelm my senses and give myself a brain freeze.

after a couple minutes of warming up on my skin, the pepper and strawberries really come out to say hello! i even catch a whiff of white lily beneath the tuberose (which never fades). its the lily's aquatic green tones that manage to marry all of FLASH's primary colors together into a swirling canvas of magnificent artwork.

rainingroses

I just HAD to try this, it sounded right up my alley - some of my favorite notes are tuberose, jasmine, heliotrope and woods! Admittedly, I had high hopes for it.

Turns out I find the first hour of wearing this fragrance unbearable. As I mentioned, yes, I love white florals - tuberose and jasmine are some of my favorite notes - but not in combination with pepper. Instead of the sweet smoothness I've grown used to with these flowers, I only get sharp and loud flowers together with pepper that tickles my nose. It feels very aggressive (in a bad way) on me.

After an hour or so, the pepper is thankfully gone and heliotrope and strawberry come into play, making this white floral a lot sweeter and lovelier. I'm usually not into fruit notes but the strawberry is really making this fragrance something different. It's definitely not dominating the scent, making this just another run-of-the-mill fruity floral, it's just adding smoothness and a little bit of sweet.

I love the dry-down, but I have yet to make up my mind if I love it enough to endure the (on me) horrific first hour...

tessture

Nicely soft light fruity floral for summer. Not remarkable but very wearable. A nice ladies aquatic, very pretty

lirael00

I got a bottle of Flash as a B-day gift, from some of my friends. They just bought it randomly, so I wasn't expecting much from it. So when the time came I decided to try it on me, and I hated it. The opening was killing me, so I oversprayed it with some of my favourite perfumes. But then one evening I was at home starring at Flash and thinking maybe I shoud give it one more chance, it's not like I could give the bottle back to my fiends, and I really want to at least like it, because my friends were so eager to know if I like the frag.

So I sprayed some of Flash on my wrist and neck, and there was this opening again that I truly didn't like, but after an hour, the smell has totally changed on my skin. Finally I was smelling something I liked, it was mostly tuberose with a hint of strawberry. And the lasting power, oh my, I could still smell it on me in the morning. It has grown on me for sure, although I still can't say it's my favourite. But at least now I can wear it with a confidence. Will see what will the future bring for me and my Flash.

kay0981

Flash a pleasant, soft, white floral fragrance, which really doesn't make me think of parties or clubbing (which is what the marketing campaign seems to be aiming at)... It's rather a very gentle, cuddly and calm fragrance, and it really doesn't scream 'party animal'. Personally, when I think of a party fragrance, I imagine something sparkling, fruity, and uplifting, like Escada perfumes. Flash on the other hand, is just like a big, romantic white floral bouquet. It's definitely not a very 'flashy' scent, but rather a sophisticated and mature fragrance. I think it's a good perfume for a more formal night out, a date, dinner at a restaurant, when you want to smell elegant and feminine.

This composition is very rich and well-blended. It opens with sparkling, juicy notes of strawberry and tangerine, which initially made me think that this could indeed work as a party fragrance, but these top notes fade away quickly. Then, the scent develops into a soft, musky-powdery aroma, enriched with floral sweetness. The tuberose, which is a key note, is pleasant, sweet and creamy, and not loud or 'in your face', as tuberose can be. It's softened with the notes of white lily and jasmine. It actually reminds me a little bit of the tuberose in Juicy Couture's Juicy Couture, which is also quiet and soft, and sweetened with similar floral accords.

Many comparisons have been made between this and Dior's Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle. Eau Sensuelle has been my signature for quite some time now, and although I can see how the two are kind of in the same ball park, the similarities are still very few and far in between. Eau Sensuelle is a rich, voluptuous vanilla; it's bold and sexy, seductive and very 'full-on'. Flash seems a little bland in comparison, but with a more pronounced tuberose. I'd say it's more of a 'safe' scent.

I like this, but it's nothing special. I am a huge fan of the original Jimmy Choo fragrance, but this is just 'meh'. By all means, I don't think that every new perfume release has to be something mind-blowing and unique, and I still think that Flash is a pleasant perfume, that can and is enjoy by many people. I'd recommend it if you like rich white florals, or are looking for a good, beginner tuberose scent.

This is my favorite perfume and has been since I smelled it in a magazine months ago. I have had people follow me in public places like the mall and at work to ask what I am wearing and where they can find it. It perks me up, I guess because I like the scent so much, maybe? I do not really detect the comparison to Hypnotic Poison which I also love to wear every now and then. It smells spicy as pink pepper then has a partial powder dry down mixed with something ethereal, that's the perfect word that comes to mind. It is not the celebrity sweet vanilla scents that are everywhere either which I also love to wear. Flash is like it's name, FLASH!

chittylafemme

Tuberose is my kryptonite, and it's all I can smell on this one. A little is ok, but this is too much.

nurul.ain

I have the vial sample of jimmy choo's flash n also hypnotic poison eau sensuelle by dior...i sprayed both on my wrists..yesterday I sprayed HP eau sensuelle n today I spray flash.

To my surprise, they both smells kinda alike...i've found that HP eau sensuelle was more to balmy,citrusy-spicy n flora-oriental scent on its initial spray....on the drydown,it turned out to be a bit sweet n creamy but not gourmand..

Whereas jimmy choo's flash,it starts off with spicy-peppery scent.a little bit citrusy but not that much/not so noticeable...as I assume the pepper dominates the most n somehow hindered the tangerine fruit.then comes the floral-oriental part..it also smells powdery n sort of strawberry-ish sweet scent..maybe it's just me as I sense cinnamon-like smell in flash..not much but the cinnamon thingy was there although it isn't stated as one of the ingredients used.

I prefer flash over HP eau sensuelle as flash is more affordable to get than HP eau sensuelle...longevity n sillage for flash are good..flash is not a dupe for HP eau sensuelle..but it's rather a good altenative for middle-income people to get this perfume than the expensive HP eau sensuelle.

The bottle is stunning n glamourous-like.

bananas

I tried this on from a tester. The 60mls bottle was on sale. I am not a big fan of floral fruity concoctions..too many celebrity scents & an over saturated market have made this mix too common for my tastes & I tend to steer clear of them. Nothing unique, nothing mysterious or complex.
But….I went away with this scent on me & decided to take it around the block, so to speak & gave it time to develop.

Well still a couple hours on & I must say I actually was enjoying this FLASH.
Yes the beginning does start with a flash of floral & fruity sweetness but not in a sickly way, quite fresh, fizzy & sparkly in a way…almost like a sweet champagne.
But then as the dry down starts to take over I really began enjoying the pepper, lily & heliotrope blend. It does have a spiciness to it which stops the fragrance becoming too sickly & cloying, but because the later notes are some of my favourites in perfumes I guess the scent over all appeals to me & I am unexpectedly finding this really a lovely experience…now a purchased treat.

Great Summer's day time scent. The jasmine, white lily & pepper seem the prominent continuing notes throughout for me, but they are all taking turns to shine throughout the wearing whilst blending & creating, what others have commented on as a unique new floral fruity scent with a twist.

LaUna

This smelled terrific when I sprayed it on at first; fresh white floral with lilies and strawberries-pretty floral girly scent. Shortly after, masculine notes, along the lines of the aquatic group that's mixed with pepper and it spoiled my first impression. There's something here that offsets this scent, bad combination of tuberose and pepper? I like both of these notes but in here, they don't go well with others.
You can only guess how remainder/drydown went....I scrubbed it off. Became too manly for my taste.
My advice: Try it on before you buy it.

Sweet Sea Pea

I don't get the Hypnotic Poison references AT ALL! I have Hypnotic Poison from 1999 and I was wearing it last night. This doesn't have the gourmand sweetness, the honey amber glow, or the same kind of spiciness. What I get is a very big white floral, with lots of tuberose, and very distinct FLASH of pink pepper. The strawberry is there, but it's more just a sweet smell than a real true strawberry smell. This is very strong, and since it is supposed to evoke night life, that seems highly appropriate. I think it's an interesting fragrance. It manages to somehow be white floral dominant, but also have a lot of other things going on. It does give me a slight headache in the way that really strong gardenia or tuberose usually does. Tuberose can go really sour on me, and this one does not. I guess it's the balance of the sweet notes that prevent the sourness. I can't really say it reminds me of any specific fragrance, maybe just a tiny bit of Flowerbomb, but not really. I think they've managed to do something new with the white floral theme here. It does bear a resemblance to other strong white florals by definition, but they've given it somewhat of a twist. I'd say floral lovers should give it a try.

Hanya usman

I love this perfume it is not expensive yet have a very clean n fresh smell , my man loves it on me , n many of my friends bought this for themselves after sniffing it on me :)

pri_alip

Gee, this is so awful it made me sick. It's terribly synthetic and smells really cheap. All I get is a fake strawberry note and some pepper, no tuberose at all on my skin. Huge disappointment.

almarie

I kind of like this, but it definitely has a screechy note to it. I also think this one is very similar to Vince Camuto's new one called "Femme", which is not on Fragrantica yet.

ChypreAnn

I'm wearing a sample of Flash today. Two main thoughts: First, I got a compliment on it, and that almost never happens to me. However, the person who told me I smelled good was about four feet away from me! Oops. Oh well, now you know this fragrance is strong. Second, I'm baffled at how a perfume that has very little in common with Dior Hypnotic Poison Eau Sensuelle, as far as notes are concerned, can smell so much like it! I'm one of the 74 people who think so, anyway. I smell that same dark, smoky, dry vanilla. I don't smell a bit of strawberry in Flash either. I do quite like it, so if you have a bottle for swap and are in the U.S., please let me know.

MadeiraD

My husband's review:
It smells like earwax and toilet cleaner, eurgh

To me it's pepper and jasmine, warm and spicy, sweet and floral, really pretty lovely

dkny27

Had this, among others, on a sample card, but I couldn't stop going back to smell this scent. I finally committed to purchase and no regrets! Amazing scent. The strawberry is barely detectable among the rose, lily, heliotrope floral goodness. There is a balance to the florals with the peppery citrus and ending base of very subtle white wood. It is very cold here and the scent may start off odd to the nose, but after a few minutes it develops so spicy fresh.
It lightened up on my skin after 4hrs. but still clings to my sweater and it's mmmmmmm good!

janella13

Maybe it is my sample but staying power was nil.

Liked the scent. Not sure if I will buy it. Going to get another sample and see if it was just this one.

jackiliddle

Awful. Just really bad. I stole a spritz this morning from my mother-in-laws cabinet since the bottle was almost full and i figured she wouldn't mind.
Now i know why the bottle is full. Ive never felt more self-conscious wearing a perfume which takes over the room, its so strong and while not cheap smelling, its sickly.
The scent lingers and follows you, its far too strong and i have never felt mote embarrassed going out in public from a perfume. Cant wait to shower.

ForrealMe2

The bottle is gorgeous in person especially at the 3.4oz size..the fragrance is really nice to keep it simple it is rose and white floral with a pinch of spice and it softens up in the end..the white floral that makes it smell really nice is the tuberose...this is a fragrance that projects moderately and is not offensive. Nice for work.

pollyjean23

First off, I love the flash cube-shaped bottle! It's such a fun reference. Where is my old pocket camera?!

Flash begins with with...well, a flash of pepper and citrus. For a split second, it reminded me of Clinique Happy. It's quite a blast, I will say. Once the launch settles, Flash produces a lot more fruit than I thought it would. I got a lot of strawberry among the white flowers. My tuberose detector is kind of subpar, so all I could smell was jasmine. It wasn't screamy, but it definitely had its voice raised.

Once the drydown commences, the heliotrope pushes its way in. I can smell the slightly-sweet doughiness among the soft wood and persistent white flowers. The fragrance lasts for a moderate-to-long amount of time--maybe 5-7 hours. The projection is moderate at most.

I like Flash, but nothing in it excites me enough to want to buy it. Basic white florals and most fruity florals are not my thing. So, if I want a fragrance that ticks those sort of boxes and serves as a token in my collection of mostly floral woody musks and oriental florals, I would probably pick up a bottle of Stella McCartney's L.I.L.Y.

SucceeD87

I love the bottle. The Vanilla scent. Ok for winter. One spritz is totally enough. The lasting power is very good.

fungest

very very heavy... i like your casual shoes not the formal shoes that perfume is the same like your formal shoes jimmy ...very bad

Scout

supposed to resemble the energy of going out. OK. Where do people go out these days? Overpriced table service? Minimal dancing? Heels they can't walk in? ok, got it.
*cranky old lady voice* In my day, going out meant disco nap on Friday after work, shower, sushi with friends to fuel for a 12+ hour sweaty messy dance session at a warehouse with a DJ playing house and techno (not this superstar EDM crap)....Then the afterclub until afternoon the next day....Some sleep, some coffee, and we did it again in tennis shoes and jeans at another warehouse until we fell asleep exhausted on Sunday night to restore before work on Monday.
THAT my friends, is a high octane party. Substance, no cameras, no paparazzi.
Not sure you will find that here. What you will find here is a photo circulating on Facebook that you might regret in 10 years. ;-p

rockegg

I often find the names of perfumes misleading, but I think Flash is aptly named. Upon application I felt excited. The top notes are very bright, happy, and energizing. At that point it could have been called Cocaine. The dry down is a well balanced, but not particularly unique, cocoon of warm femininity. Nobody can keep that level of energy up indefinitely, but it eases you down into a featherbed.

papergurl

After reading the reviews, I wondered if I had gotten a conterfeit bottle. Alas, no, purchased from a reputable seller. I love the original Jimmy Choo, on my second bottle. This was a blind buy and I was "flashed". Pepper powder bomb. This is so sharp. This is my first experience with needle in the eye, or nose in this case for over an hour before you get to a tolerable middle ground. The base is passable. I am going to make myself use this up this winter, or at least make a dent as I spent good money, hopt that it will grow on me.Blind buys, so tempting, but after so many successful adventures, sooner or later you get bitten. Well the bottle is cute, sigh.

Paintedlily

Out of the sample vial this smells of sweet water and a powdery soft floral. This perfume really surprised me because normally I'm not fond of tuberose (it usually goes a bit sharp on me), but this was balanced really well. On opening it is really fresh floral making me think of wide open spaces. It also has a sweet water note to it. It's not spun sugar or overly sweet, but like a fresh watery sweet. It doesn't smell of real strawberries....they're more candied. The tuberose is balanced really well with a soft powder. The lady who would wear this is very classic and friendly...like a well-to-do lady who was raised with proper manners and taught not to look down on others. I love it!

I don't see any similarity to Hypnotic Poison but to My Insolence by Guerlain.
Lasting power is ok, sillage also but Flash just isn't my cup of tea.
Something bothers me in it.
It's not heavy but gives me a headache.

I am pleasantly surprised by this Choo creation, and upon looking at the notes I am even more surprised. Perhaps it's my chemistry but upon first spray this smells to me as a delicious aquatic with a musk undertone and a hint of vanilla.

After a while the notes becomes more apparent and I can smell the tangerine *Hmmm* a sugary sweetness (strawberry?) and a featherlight tuberose note that is sprinkled with a dash of pepper, but nothing in this scent is too harsh. It's a very well balanced creation and I love it because its fresh/floral/spicy and sweet without that it smells like a mess!

It's a fresh breath from the *usual * gourmand and IMHO is far more original than Choo's "Jimmy Choo".

Autumn is at our doorstep...if you want a new scent to go with the new season give this one a try...this unusual seductive combination of fresh yet velvety, and floral yet spicy-sweet will keep you smiling! Well, it does me : )

Silage is: Fresh & floral yet spicy as far as your arm can reach - Longevity is: You aint Choo-ing me away anytime soon! Enjoy!

I mainly get white florals throughout the life of Flash...but then again I'm a big fan of tuberose so this is right up my alley :) I don't really get much of the pink pepper and strawberry top notes - on me, the fragrance gets right into the white floral heart notes with that signature tuberose scent. I also get a slight powdery note in the dry down, but it isn't too overpowering at all. This is another one on my want list - it's sexy and sophisticated without being overdone.

I absolutely LOVE IT!!! Lasting great scent.. Better than the new CK.. that lasts maybe 2 hours. or less .

First comes mint and pink pepper, but fade quickly and strawberry and a bit of raspberry come in...
the rest is balsam, woodsy tone with whipped cream !
And heliotrope dominates till last notes.

It doesn't have so much of flashyness, what it is is a warm forest with a sweet fruity notes.

Just smelled a strip in a magazine so I don't feel I can really give it a proper review but it made me take a double take...or double smell..if you will. I'm smelling loads of pink pepper and white lily a bit of jasmine and TONS of something honey-like...almost more like propolis.I feel like I smell Sweet Pea too. Smells very delicate but in a punch-packing way. I would really love to try some from a bottle to see if it still smells this good to me. I didn't care much for the other Jimmy Choo fragance..it smelled somewhat generic to me. I see others are saying the same thing about this. Must just be a certain something ( that I can't put my finger on) that's making me like this so much....for some reason, each time I sniff, I'm feeling vivid memories of summer as a child and it feels good.

I really like this fragrance, certainly more than the original Jimmy Choo. Lovely, light strawberries and citrus melting into a bouquet of white flowers. Sound familiar? It is. That's the problem with Flash; I own several iterations of this theme already. Nevertheless, it's a good rendition of the fruity floral craze, which I am sick to death of. I do love the bottle so; but can't justify shelling out the kind of money this commands for a FB when I have so many fragrances that smell so close to this one.

Sorry Jimmy Choo. I still love your pair of heels(the most complimentary shoes I ever got) but your flash did not light me at all. I got it as a present and after testing it I tried to forget I have it. BUT!!!!! My five years old daughter found the Flash wearable and she thinks it's magnificent. A lot of strawberry. It works!

(Disclaimer- First review! Be gentle!)

Flash is definitely an interesting fragrance for me to try and review, especially for my first review!

After spraying it on today I was a bit taken aback by the strong white floral and even a bit of sharpness. It had a touch of rose to my nose and some synthetic sweetness.

2 hours into wearing it I was completely sick of it and regretted putting it on today. It seemed very ordinary to me and obnoxious at the same time. But I held out scrubbing so I could give a thorough review.

At about the 3.5 hour mark, Flash started to settle down and turned into a sultry, woody, musky smell to me. I was in shock by this transformation and am really enjoying it now at the 8 hour mark. It is still pleasant and fairly strong on my skin as well.

I would have to decide if the lovely transformation at the 3-4 hour mark is worth the 3-4 hours of regret of wearing it.. At this point, I don't believe I would buy a full bottle (using a Nordstrom sample now). I just didn't enjoy the opening at all. I feel I need to like a perfume as a whole to purchase a bottle. I do think I will wear Flash again, maybe in a different season, and if my mind is changed, I will update my review. :)

Lastly, just thought I'd mention that the bottle reminds me of a golf ball. Anyone else see that?

Jimmy Choo Flash opens with a strange strawberry scent, not the real juicy one, nor the strawberry flavour one, very difficult to define. I was initially curious if the strawberry will play along with the white flowers. However, this fruity opening soon dissipates and leaves no trace on the then-coming strong white flower scent, which is quite similar to Jesus Del Pozo In White to my nose.

This white flower blossom stage lasts about 2 or 3 hours. It then dries down into a gentle floral-musky scent, very soothing and feminine, which is also my favourite part in Flash.

The sillage is moderate and the longevity is at least 8 hours. However, I don't think I'll buy it any time soon as the white flower stage is just too similar to In White, though the drydown is lovely.

I have been wearing Flash all day and now I can review it. This is not a Jimmy Choo flanker! It is totally different. I love it and will really love it more if it can go day to night and season to season like I think it can. This is a wearable and softer Hypnotic Poison. It is a mix of Hypnotic Poison and Michael Kors to me. Projection is not outstanding but I like that it is not a bomb. It is more soft musky than sweet and oh so sexy in an understated way.

EauSensuelle

Flash by Jimmy Choo is a soft, berried floral which is gentle, calm and simply composed.

The top notes of strawberry, pink pepper and tangerine make Flash a much different fragrance than the original Jimmy Choo. Soft, powdery notes mingle with light, fresh notes to give a Clinique Happy-themed scent.

As the fragrance dries I get a light burst of tuberose, lily-of-the-valley and a rosy sweetness. The strawberry compliments this and what results is a pink, pleasant floral which is 99.99% feminine.

The base is a soft vanilla with hints of sandalwood and, excuse me if I'm wrong but I smell this; caramel. A cosy, comforting and truly original note.

Flash by Jimmy Choo is nothing what you expect it to be, since a flash is a sudden, bright burst of light. However, the Flash enclosed in this bottle is something completely different. It's like an angel fluttering on cottony, white, fluffy; very innocent clouds.
