I got a great deal on a SteelSeries Apex Pro TKL 2023 wireless keyboard. It stated in the listing that it was in very good condition, which meant used but possibly with some light scratches etc. But when it arrived it was in pristine condition, in fact the keyboard itself was still in a sealed bag. I don't know if it had been resealed, or never opened I suspect the latter. So I got a practically new keyboard for £100 less than new price, very happy. Not only that but dispatch and delivery was very fast, it arrived the day after I ordered.

I have used this company 3 times now over the years to buy refurbished apple products and pleased to say that I have never had any issues. I have never had to use the warranty and delivery has always been so quick. I have recommended to my friends and family

I bought a Surface Pro 5 from the company which I found had a battery which would only power it for 15 minutes. This completely defeats the purpose of having a mobile device as it has to be plugged in all the time. When I asked to return it they refused to cover the postage as they stated they could not guarantee the battery condition.

Update: after much confusion, they refunded my money.

After ordering the wrong laptop I emailed in to change the order. Holly was a massive help in swapping the order to the correct laptop and still managed to get it to me next day. The laptop was graded very good but looked basically brand new and was supplied in the original packaging and with an original charger. Very happy

These folks are brilliant & deserve every success. After 4 months I had to return a mobile & it was totally first class, posted back on Monday, refund by Pay Pal Tuesday & kept informed all the way. They'll be my first choice for my next techie purchase. I dealt with Holly & she has done a lot to restore my faith in human nature. Purchased a £500 Asus laptop in September 2021. Three weeks out of warranty and it fails to switch on. Took it to my local reputable computer repair shop who said the motherboard was the problem. Response from Student computers when I emailed my disappointment “ If you would like a second opinion on the fault, we would be happy to take a look and offer a price on repair if it is repairable“. I expect it is a profitable business repairing “just out of warranty” computers! Very disappointed and will not use again.

Took a bit of a gamble on this as price very good for refurbished laptop. Pleased to say, really happy with laptop and service. Excellent speed if delivery and when I queried something communications from Holly was great. Highly recommended.

I bought some airpods 2nd generations from their onbuy store. Anyone who says they are fake is just lying because they are definitely real. The serial numbers match and if they were fake, it says on the apple site that the serial numbers have been ‘replaced’. Very pleased with what I got for a fraction of the normal price. Delivery was excellent and actually arrived before the estimated arrival time. I was also able to track the parcel through onbuy. Overall there was nothing wrong with my experience with them. Keep it up!

So easy and hassle free. Bought an iPhone SE 2020 256GB at an insane price in A- Refurbished condition with 12 months warranty. I have no idea what the A- is for because it arrived spotless, has no scratches, blemishes, literally pristine, in original box and with original accessories. Arrived very quick with DPD delivery too. I ordered it at 2AM, was dispatched the very next day and arrived in 2 days well wrapped.

First time ordering a second hand phone not on contract so was a bit skeptical when ordering. I ordered a grade A- iPhone XS Max and I can say it looks like it’s brand new, no marks or scratches anywhere. Delivery was very fast went for their free delivery option and this arrived 2 days after ordering. Great phone and great fast delivery.

They are not genuine Apple AirPods. Box very marked and unsealed. The spare earbud attachments don’t attach. We have apple AirPods to compare them with and the attaching earbuds are a different shape.
Very disappointed young man who they were gifted to.

I placed an online order recently for a refurbished Epson Ecotank ET 2600. Delivered it promptly but it was not functioning well; it was pre-filled with ink, however print outcome was poor and it does not receiving black ink. Contacted customer service and I was surprised with their response. I was told to get rid that and they send out me another new printer next working day. Excellent.

Site is a little misleading.
Selling certain products 'item only' ie no peripherals. This is acceptable, they stated it has no peripherals, which is fair - but they're doing it for products that cannot function without those peripherals (ie selling something that will not work out-of-the-box, but not stating specifically, that it 'will not work out-of-the-box). The VR headsets are a prime example.

Beyond that, a cursory glance at a few of the pre-built computers shows us they are selling them at massively inflated price.
Best example is a computer prebuilt for/around a GTX1070 video card, selling at £3000+. That video card retails for ~£107. This is usually the, or equal to, the most expensive part of the computer. In a computer priced at £3000+.

Also-
They're mentioned as 2 different companies according to some of these reviews (company name on this page not matching company name mentioned in some reviews) which is another one of those things that lowers confidence in them, for a casual shopper.

I came across this website for the first time when searching for this laptop. I'd never heard of it before and I have to say it's a great find! Laptop came in excellent condition, with a handwritten inspection certificate of all aspects checked before sending. The prices are very competitive compared to other refurbished options with a warrantee. I'm knocking off just 1 star as I paid extra for next day delivery and it took 2 days so I had a working day without a laptop. I contacted the team about this over a week ago and haven't had a response. I hope it's just a one off.

Wow! A real person actually answered the phone and provide professional customer service! In a time where you have become used to not Being able to speak to anyone and quickly too this was a refreshing change! The quote came quickly and my chrome book was delivered next day! Purchased refurbished ASUS PC Vivo All-in-One, delivered ahead of delivery date, packaged as new in fact the All-in-One was as new no marks, been in use now for over a week and delighted with it. will definitly buy from Student Computers - Spotbuyer Group again.
