Heavy device, which is appreciated. Bought in the Netherlands, unfortunately a UK plug. No problem, just not handy. The user manual does not mention the mounting of the toolholder for the table inserts on the sides. Screws for the plate holders are too big, one broke off. Furthermore a smooth working sturdy sander, love it. Sanding paper ordered in the UK was delivered very quick, couple of days.

Having ordered a set of pen jaws and paying for DPD to deliver the follwing day due to it being a Bank Holiday weekend, when the parcel did not arrive I contacted Axminster on the Tuesday following. Axminster customer services contacted DPD, who had no idea where the parcel was, and immediately sent another set and refunded the postage. That is what I call service.

Excellent. Very pleased with the items I purchased. Very well built and have only used them for 10 minutes so it’s only a review after a short time . Very heavy grinder , easy to assemble, large grinds wheels . The only negative thing is the tool rest isn’t laying at true square to the oxide wheels . This is the only criticism. Delivered on time , well packaged and great communication. Highly recommended

Yes, they're not cheap, but reviews of cheap metre rules invariably complain about their quality, so avoid the mistakes of others and choose something worth buying. Full marks for getting it, and the cutting mat, delivered to me in a perfectly flat state - again, no money is saved if the rule is bent, and trying to make accurate cuts on a creased mat is impossible. All told, highly recommended.

The items I ordered met my expectations. However, the packaging was totally inadequate. The box was of very thin corrugated cardboard partly folded over only and not glued. The package arrived split open and in a thick Royal Mail bag. The tin of the Machine Wax was slightly damaged.
The total cost of the order was over £80 and comprised 2 heavy steel items plus the tin of wax, so why was such poor packaging used?
