Customer service is horrible

I've only had skrill a short while, BUT their needs to be faster depositing from banks & customer service is not good at all, they'll listen to your complaints but offer absolutely no solutions. I really needed my money 3 days ago but never got it.....Still don't have it😪

skrill is getting better and better…

skrill is getting better and better opening up in the US market. I hope it sticks around and gets to be like venmo or cashapp and paypal. Only issue is that my account got restricted and says 24hour to release but its been almost 3rd day since then. So if we can get a better way to contact agents it would be greatQ!

the most usefull payment gateway.

the most usefull payment gateway.. especially for 3rd world coutry citizen like me from Indonesia to pay internationally. they do have flaw though, do not transaction use Rapyd (their UK partner payment gateway) i try to deposit from Dana.id (indonesian payment gateway) trice. first it come in 30 hours. 2nd it coming in 18 days (15 business days). and last it coming in 3 business day. i learn my lesson now, other than that, this is the most usefull payment gateway for non american who tend to use Paypal or their own e-Wallet. written in 30/April/2024

Please help !

Please help me remove restricted, I have deposit money to Skrill, and I have been restricted about 18 days, I have upload address's proof for verification but still restricted. I have answered 3 questions but no hope, I have sent many messages and no response. Please help me to remove restricted because that money is important to me.

SKRILL STEALS MONEY FROM YOUR ACCOUNT…

Well this is my forth review of Skrill apparently they won't even answer me on here anymore or their official channels....won't return the money they stole (600 dollars) in case you "Skrill" or should I say theif....will not return my money refuse to answer me on their official channels or show me the proof they return the 600 stolen dollars to my account....erased the transactions I got screen shots of all of it the transfers the return transactions from the other bank and Skrill messages acknowledging they got the money back but watched my account like a hawk and no return of any funds at all....SKRILL STEALS MONEY OUT IF YKUR ACCOUNT!!!! I will write a review everyday on here and other review sites until Skrill returns my money!!!! Enjoy the one star you definitely don't deserve that you deserve to be in jail that's where thieves go...

10/10 experience. Honestly I recently temporarily closed my account and when I asked to reopen with 20 mins was reopened. Customer service is 2nd to none tbh very very happy

Skrill has historically been great

Skrill has historically been great. Fast processing. Never a dime missing. No problems. Recently, they restricted my account without warning or so much as a reason. No. I didn't not make large, multiple or odd purchases, deposits or Withdrawals. I simply looked at my balance of under 500 one day and went to use my card for a purchase of 44 dollars and it was declined. I called to discuss and told my account was restricted and that someone would email me with the reasons why within 48 hours. That was 10 days ago. I can't get anyone to respond and can't open a new chat or email because they will delete and mark it as "duplicate". They basically have taken my money hostage without a single reason or cause as to why and have no problem with doing so. I am stunned this has occurred as I never thought I would also fall into the situation as many others have. I truly thought everyone else had more to their story that they weren't sharing to cause these restrictions. Now I know that Skrill uses deceptive practices as their base model and will absolutely steal from its customers anytime they chose to. It's not a matter of if it's truly just a matter of time until your name comes up as the next victim. They steal just enough not to get into real trouble per felony. I researched their licenses and they are governed per state in the US and each state has a governing authority in which you must go through to file a complaint. I suggest anyone who has faced a financial loss, start at the state level and be prepared to wait. You will get your money back. But it will take time.

I'm so bummed it turned out this way. I actually liked their services until.. I didn't.

Update: as you can see - skrill responded. However, even that is a lie. There is no update notes in my account. No new information provided via the case system within the app or website nor any email from anyone. I cannot withdraw money. I can deposit it into the account all day. But not access it for use. I can't close the account and I can't use the chat system as everything is marked as a duplicate request. I did however speak to someone on the phone. Who proceeded to tell me that the restriction would be lifted within 24 hours. That was 31 hours ago to be exact. Still restricted.

Crappiest customer service in the world…

Crappiest customer service in the world and they are theifs. You can use this card on all yh gambling sites but if you is it on real price it'll lock your account and Skrill is like oh well you have to wait wth your stealing 300 bucks of mine and I want my money
To top it all off their customer service is so s***** that they can't even answer their phone but they want to send emails talking about it's going to take several days several days for what nobody did anything to your stupid ass card all people want is their money off of it but you guys want to keep rejecting calls and then sending emails

Im send money to my merchants now im problem to received my money to my merchants bcoz my account is closed

I'm very confused over skrilla &…

I'm very confused over skrilla & Neteller being the same company
....iv made more transactions with bigggr amounts with skrill than Neteller. After topping up 1600 euro in neteller they restricted my account. And I did exactly the same with skrill. If I knew Neteller would restrict my account like this I would never make an account and I definitely regret it finding out it's the same company? Yes do your research this does not add up I don't understand why they are the same company but choose to restrict while having same account activity...why not restrict my skrill then? Most confusing bank situation iv been in

Withdrawal delay in instant mobile wallet

I really like the app fo the beigener and for the people who used it for the better and smooth transaction.... But the thing on which i am getting difficulty iss that i can't withdraw the amount to my mobile Wallet everytimes the money add back up to my account and Show that the transaction was successful but it's not detected from the skrill account and add to my mobile Wallet

my bank account was double charged issue was resolved but it took a lot of time

my bank account was double charged by skrill while making an int'l transfer which i noticed in my monthly bank statement. i immediately contacted skrill through the chat option in the app and was assured someone would get back to me within 48 hours. this wasn't true as if took 4 or 5 days for them to contact me on my email after which i had to explain everything in detail to them with attached proofs. they told me they would respond within 24 hours which again wasn't true. they replied after 7 days saying indeed there was a mistake on their end and that my account would be refunded in a few days. i got back money eventually which is great work by them but the response time is atrocious to say the least.

Good

Doing excellent work.. not complicated.. instant money transfer… But I had a problem with verifying my account then my money overstayed in their account then they just deducted a lot of money from account without any early warning they said that I have broken their rules.. Rule was that they charge 5$ per 6 months but they charged me $68..i need this 68 back soon you didn’t give me an early notification but you just deducted the money while I was trying to get my verification documents

Recommend Skrill for South Africa

Sad to see negative reviews of Skrill. Yes, of course they ask a small percentage fee for transferring foreign currency to your local bank account, that is to be expected. I love Skrill, unlike PayPal, payment to one's account is immediate. It is also the ONLY other payment method (PayPal being the other) that works in South Africa. Grateful for them, I get paid in USD, and had to stop working as I was not able to get my money out from Paxum. Now I'm working again

Been using Skrill for more than two…

Been using Skrill for more than two years now and it's a solid service, fast and user friendly, especially the mobile app. Had no problems with verification, it was easy. Love the address proofing feature using geo location with phone GPS via sharing location, it was so fast and easy to prove my living address, that it's a must have for any service where " proof of address " is needed, because sending documents has been a nightmare for me.
One thing im not so happy about is the fees. Comparing to other e-wallet services, it's pretty high, especially charging 2.50€ for a virtual card.
