Rockstar Social Club DRM
So I pre ordered GTA V on greenmangaming.com which gives you a code for Rockstar's DRM client. I tried searching for this DRM to prepare for pre loading, but can't seem to find where to download it. Is it even out yet, or are they going to release this with the game?

GTA IV had you type in the code at game launch, at least with retail copies. Probably will be the same in this case.

EDIT: As for the pre-load, they'll most likely give you a download file, for which you afterwards will have to enter the code.

i have bought it too from green man gaming, and you just need to wait for instructions....you dont even have a code yet

Yeah just make an account and wait till the release date, there will probably be a post in the next few weeks on their newswire with info on how to link our steam accounts to our social club accounts.

So none of this thread is true at all. I too ordered from GMG and in the email they give you the code for the rockstar social page which you make an account if you don't already have one.

The code you get from GMG will NOT be a steam code at all. It will point you to the rockstar page to register the game and begin downloading it (pre-load) straight from the rockstar website.

You will be able to play the game once it offically launches next week. It will not be a steam game you will have to do that manualy as a non-steam game
