Everything about this, from the bottle to the scent, evokes "swimming pool".

dpetro

Grapefruit pool water but I love it.

Claviator

Ok. Classy. Fresh. Balanced. Love it.
This one and MontBlanc Starwalker on my top shelf summer freshies, without any trace of that cheap shower gel/aundry deturgent smell so many others have. The D&G Light blue intense has similarities, but that has that slightly annoying and a bit too invasive and for some nose irritating smell. Man eau fraiche doesn't.

VinEsq

When I walk by somebody on the street who smells like he just took a dip in the cologne pool, he almost always smells just like Versace Man Eau Fraiche.

7seven7

Smells exactly like my dog used to. Good for the memories and that’s about it

tracershy

Cool and fresh. I really like the sparkling, refreshing citrus fruits that greet me at the opening. After a while, they acquire a slightly sweet accent and Eau Fraiche smells like sweet lemonade. Carambola adds an exotic, floral and tropical atmosphere. There is also some greenery and woody notes that smell as if they were immersed in water.
Sweetish citrus fruits floating on a watery, refreshing wave with some flowers, wood and greenery floating in it.
Versace Eau Fraiche is nothing great, it's more of a simple, nice scent, but it's good in its simplicity. A big advantage is the natural tone of the composition. I like to use it in the summer. He is very nice.
Longevity are decent for a fresh citrus scent, it lasts 5-6 hours on the skin without any problems with moderate projection.

i absolutely love this fragrance but it has the same problem as nautica voyage for me, it just doesn’t last that long. I get maybe max 2 hours until it becomes a skin scent but other than that it’s a nice aquatic and citrus fragrance.

TheFraganist55

The bottle is cool. The smell is not. It's basically a more classy Blue Jeans. If you can afford better go with Dylan Blue or anything else. This just smells like shower cleaner and lasts maybe 10 minutes, if that.

Seanhh1986

umair is seriously suggesting people that have smelled hundreds of fragrances cant tell the difference between ambroxan and ambergris or oakmoss absolute and evernyl for example lol. has nothing to do with "niche", my dude. I have a bunch of amouages, other than that alot of the stuff i own/make a big deal about isnt niche, its vintage fragrances that were fairly common at some point in the past. a vintage bottle of jovan sex appeal smells more natural than Man eau fraiche and that was a cheap drugstore garbage fragrance from the 1970s. we could shake hands right now and make fun of people that spend $500 on modern reformulations by creed if you want together? id rather spend $30 on Versace Man Eau Fraiche than $400 or whatever on new Aventus.

My "journey" started when i listened to shill reviews and bought Sauvage edt. Thought it smelled like crap. Bought Sauvage Edp, thought the same. I dont think im a better person than you lol.

Umair007

adding context for fellow readers when they are reading the reviews by "niche snobs":

niche snobs think they are advanced users and have developed nose and what not. it's true that niche perfumes can use higher quality ingredients and the person who has been in the hobby for some time can better recognise certain things. but the thing is if your niche perfume doesn't smell good to normal people, it doesn't ACTUALLY smell good. you have just gotten used to the bad smell. kinda like fishermen get used to the smell. and if a cheapie smells good to most people, it is a good smelling perfume.

SvenskaOliven

This is a perfect summer cologne, the people that talk bad about this cologne probably haven’t even smelled it. Also it smells much better on your skin then on test strips. I’m gonna were this now in the summer because its purely amazing. Citrusy, and also pretty warm and inviting considering that it is a fresh cologne. It is a very masculine, sexy fragrance, you will get compliments with this one, I am smelling it right now and I am amazed of how good it is for the price. I got it for around 65$ at my local fragrance store!

SexyDead

I enjoy the scent and it's very popular but a bit over rated

Seanhh1986

When you get to the final level and have to defeat the Amberwoods generic garbage boss, its Versace Man Eau Fraiche. If you own 5 fragrances and 4 are cheap clones or you spend your time compliment bro-ing on social media, this is for you. if youve already gone down the rabbit hole and youre saying "you know, i never smelled eau fraiche back when i started out" then dont bother. I think Versace Pour Homme and the old Versace L'Homme are both great for the money, so this isnt just niche snob anti cheapie sentiment.

pros: for what its supposed to be, i guess its well made. definetely will not offend anyone. doesnt smell one iota natural, but the person who rocks this wouldnt care or be able to tell. if someone is physically attracted to you already, they may compliment you on smelling good though nobody in a crowd is going to say "OMG who smells amazing!?". Its very low priced. Good gift for somebody not into fragrances. Honestly i like the versace man and the eau fraiche bottles appearances, despite being played out at this point.

p.s. i guess i should throw it out there that this MUST have been reformulated, likely multiple times since 2008 and that im smelling a recent formula. Maybe this was better at some point, i dont know. Ive seen many people say that it used to smell better/last much longer.

Pepin

Say what you want: linear, simple, sinthetic, too commercial, bla bla bla... and maybe you're right.

Truth is: smells good and everyone loves it.

Get over it.

samudex

This is simply great. An uplifting fresh citrus fragrance with a bit sweet undertone. Longevity is weak but the opening smells so nice that I don't mind to reapply. Star fruit is the star note in this fragrance (no pun intended).
It's not the same as d&g light blue, but it tells the same story.
AB Blue seduction it's similar, but it has a cappuccino note instead of the star fruit that makes it different to Eau Fraiche.

dimsa

It's very fresh, citrusy, refreshing and beautiful. I was wearing this during the last hot summer in the office and outdoors. It lasted around 5 hours on my skin and pulled some compliments as well. The silage is moderate to low. For the price, it's a stunning fragrance.

bahadrr

CLEAN FRESH BUT POOR PERFORMANCE BEST İS FOR SUMMER

Charades

Brings me back to St. Croix, a hot, tropical island out in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Reminds me of sun kissed skin, the beach, the poolside swim up bar, and reapplying sunscreen after swimming in the ocean for hours. The star fruit’s brightness and the solar notes makes this the absolute perfect summer fragrance to rock on the beach or any hot day.

ilovenoddingout

tried it out at sephora, eh it just smells like a flat linear starfruit and lemon mixture. it almost smells like expired and stale grapefruit

OwlFactory

I don't think it's wise to wear cologne to the gym. HOWEVER.... if you insisted on wearing something, a fragrance like this would be a safe choice. It's extremely light, fresh, citrusy, and inoffensive. It doesn't last long, and is fine to wear to work as well. The price point is terrific.

Chronosnow

It low-key smells like hand sanitizer. In my opinion, it is a terrible fragrance. Only wear this if you want people to think you use Germ-x hand sanitizer as fragrance. 3/10. Only thing stopping me from giving it a 0/10 is the price.

MattSmells

Came across a free sample of Versace Man Eau Fraiche and liked it quite a bit! Ended up buying a very small bottle for this spring/summer. It reminds me of my first cologne in the 90s -- Davidoff's Cool Water (what a throwback!) -- but with a lemon/citrus opening. And I really like the opening.

It does die down pretty quickly, but I've heard it performs well on hot days.

And I also prefer this much more than Versace Eros. Not sure which ingredient, but there's something in Eros that's cloying and bothers me after a while.

ray.vina1

Good gym fragrance.

maddie2503

I do not like this. It smells like sweat to me. Doesn't dry down any better. Not worth the price unless you want to smell like BO for 2 hours

BobbyFragrances

A drunk man would assume this to be Vodka. It's like taking Eau Fraiche to a whole new level. Alas with everything, the fruity notes give it a twist. Sadly the joy only last 1-2 hours with terrible silage. Worth the money? Not really no.

RobHillSF

something about this reminds me of a froyo shop, which i enjoy, especially when its too hot outside.

tylerss20

Took me a few tries to get it, but I really enjoy this clean summer fragrance. Nothing groundbreaking but a real crowd pleaser.

shiestyy

This fragrance has a very narrow use case - a dumb reach during warm weather or the one of the only fragrances you can use when it is regularly >100 F / >39 C where you live.
You’ll see complaints of poor longevity and an uninteresting, one-dimensional experience, but when it’s that painfully hot, you’re not going to really want a super strong fragrance
Oh, and for the price, there might be two schools of thought - on par for such a one-sided fragrance or amazing considering there’s not much else that fills its specific use case
I personally love the scent, and it performs reasonably well when I want it to.
Some good stuff for some good value

averagefraghead

I absolutely love this scent! my only gripe with it is that the performance is relatively weak. I will wear it and I can only smell it off my skin for about 2-3 hours with it only really performing well for the first hour and a half. It takes me about 10-13 sprays for it to perform how I would like.

Nikanjavid

This is a timeless classic ⭐️
Fresh with a touch of sourness
Perfect for high heat☀️
Performance is acceptable.

Basta Perfume

An Italian man would love this scent honestly
Scent 10/10
Longevity 6/10 (4-5 hours)
Projection 6/10 (30mins - 1 hour Projection after it fades it becomes a skin scent for intimate approaches)
Price 8.5/10

radsimu

I don't smell anything interesting, almost absent at first. But then, in about 30 mins it starts really nice, fresh, water, jasmine-flowery, citrus. To me this perfume smells strikingly similar to Loewe Cedro. I prefer the Loewe though: slightly more intense and more persistent, and has the smell that I want from the very opening

SniffDogg

I'm being 100% serious, Man Eau Fraiche has a strange bacon-like scent to me. It smelled that way a few weeks ago on my skin. And tonight I sprayed some on a paper towel to retest the smell. It still had that weird bacon-like note.

I would recommend Versace Pour Homme (the light blue bottle) as a safer alternative. I regularly wear VPH, it's great.

lowercase_brody

my first fragrance. super fresh and citrusy, perfect summer scent. There are a lot better summer scents i'd say but for the price it is very worth it. I get really decent longevity and projection.

overall an 8/10, good price and good scent

SirSmellsGood

I wasn't a big fan when I first smelled it. But now that I've had a chance to try it on a warm day (77° ) I can say it's a very nice, refreshing citrus scent.
My only issue that will prevent me from buying this again is that the smell is gone in 30min on me! I don't I could even say skin scent as I shove my nose into my wrist trying to catch a whiff.
I don't need all day performance and from my understanding freshies don't last as long anyways, but I'm 30min is way to short for longevity which makes this a pass for me.

JrossiLeFleur

I just came here to say the new BBW First Sight smells just like this. It’s new so it’s not listed yet on the site. First Sight leans more femme so if you’re a woman and you like Man Eau Friache like I do you, may like the BBW version even better.

IsseyMemeake

Such a solid spring/summer fragrance! Is the best in high heat for sure but i do like to mix it up and put a bit more on if its cooler. I get a lot of the starfruit and pepper initially then it calms down into a nice citrus scent.

burgio182

Wearing a sample for a couple days in a row and after the initial opening the star fruit comes through so strong in a good way, citrusy and green spicy! First day I noticed it faded to nothing after a few hours. But today… about 2 hours in and I can’t help but notice I smell like baby wipes?! Wtf 😂

moufbreather

in terms of cost and performance, this is one of my favorites. as my first cologne in high school, this is somewhat of a cheaper, simple scent, but it's just so enjoyable to smell, even now. the most notable notes to me would be the citrus and the musk, with the two balancing out. as a warning the citrus smells pretty synthetic, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. the fragrance doesn't last long and doesn't project much either, but it's great for everyday wear in the spring and summer. biased 8/10

Bob777

Probably one of the greatest freshies, one of the GOATS for sure, yes it lacks some performance but for the time is performing is a heavenly smell

eewatts23

This may sound strange, but with this fragrance I’m picking up slight Issey Miyake vibes. It’s because they’re both using a synthetic grapefruit aroma Chem called methyl pamplemousse. There’s also another chemical called “magnolan” which supports the pamplemousse and gives it a soft floral vibe. Alongside this accord, they’ve mixed a little orange oil , calone, and some fruity molecules giving it that melony , starfruit vibe. But honestly, for me the “starfruit” note is short lived. These accords begin as one but then the grapefruit accord along with some woods quickly takes over. So what I get is a watery grapefruit with melon in the background sitting on some woods and spices.

Have to say I like it. Lots of high-end designers as well as niche brands are using those aroma chems and some brands are successful at not making the final product smell SUPER synthetic. This does a better job of smelling more realistic than Issey though. In some way, I almost feel like they could be flankers of one another. And before I looked at the nose behind this fragrance, I swore that it was an Alberto Morillas creation. In any case 4/5, not bad.

MAKSTR

Very nice citrusy fresh scent. The good part vanishes on skin within 2 to 3 hours and then there is muddy green damp smell with slight sage.

Scent 7/10
Sillage 6/10

Bought a mini bottle of this to try it out. Very pleasant and clean. Doesn't last long, but that could actually be a good thing for some people who just want to smell clean for a workout or a daytime event. I have other freshie frags I like better, so I gave this to my buddy a work to try out. He loved it so much he ended up buying a full bottle.

Making the world smell better one mini bottle at a time.

parfumerieOG

Man I love this fragrance. I got this fragrance from a friend in a 5ML spray bottle and I love it. It smells so good and it's perfect for a summer day or a hotter spring day. I love how its citrusy and fresh it smells but it simply doesn't last or project that well, at least in my experience. When I spray it on I have to overspray and even then its mostly a skin scent. I am glad my friend gave me the travel size because even as a skin sent is only lasts about 3 hours so I'm constantly reapplying.

CamiBar&Beverages

If Versace makes this fragrance lasts for more than 4 hours, i'll make it my signature scent. The downside it's the longevity, and that brings the price point to an ok/expensive status. I'll get it again if they reformulate it for longevity.

YoutubeChannelBobGianShow

one of my favorites from Versace. It reminds me of Dolce&Gabbana Light Blue For Women, Montblanc Star Walker and Bulgari Pour Homme.

Classy, Fresh, Clean, Inoffensive, Scent of a handsome man!

TheDogfatherHTX

When speaking of Versace fragrances, this one gets left out of conversation quite often. Not as popular in the public eye as the giants Eros or Dylan Blue; but held in relatively high regard amongst the community. Growing up, I loved eating starfruit; so when I saw this fragrance had a starfruit note I knew I had to try it. I saw it available on SB and immediately scooped it up to give it a proper test. Here's how it went;

Scent:
Opening is citrusy/fruity, green, and woody. The primary notes I get are star fruit, bergamot, lemon, and cedar. The strongest of the notes are the bergamot and star fruit. The bergamot is the typical tart and citrusy note that you'll find in many other designer fragrances. The star fruit note is the standout in this fragrance, and is pretty realistic to how I remember star fruit smelling. It's fresh and sour with hints of green, and compliments the bergamot very nicely. This is followed by the lemon and cedar. The lemon, not a far departure from the bergamot, helps to elevate the citrus notes while the cedar hangs out in the background to provide a masculine foundation. Dry down is fresh, warm, and woody. The primary notes I get are the wood notes, musk, cardamom, and star fruit. The strongest of the notes are the wood notes and musk. All the wood notes (rosewood, cedar, woodsy notes) come together to create a very prominent and masculine wood accord, like the lumber section of a hardware store. The musk plays a center role as well giving an airy freshness to the scent. This is followed by the cardamom and star fruit. The cardamom offers up its usual warm and spicy note that compliments the woodiness nicely, while the star fruit lingers on in the background as a slightly tangy and green accord. I was very surprised by how woody the dry down came across. Pleasantly surprised.

Performance:
Initial projection is moderately strong at around 3 feet. Sillage is strong with an easily noticeable scent trail. After a few hours the performance had dropped off pretty steeply. The projection was light and under arms length, and the scent trail was only slightly noticeable. The fragrance became a skin scent shortly thereafter.

When to wear:
This is a archetypal spring/summer fragrance most suited for daytime wear; perfect for throwing on when going out in the sun. This fragrance comes off a bit too citrusy for me to call it office appropriate, and wouldn't be my choice for a date either. This is what I would consider a leisure fragrance.

Blind buy:
If you like uniquely fruity and green scents like Coach Green, or are into woody fragrances, this is a safe blind buy for you. Just keep in mind you'll need to re-apply it.

Final verdict:
This was a tough one for me. I really enjoyed the scent profile; it was fresh, surprisingly woody, and had a very unique and enjoyable note with the star fruit. I just wished it lasted longer. That being said, it's not exceedingly expensive so I may pick up a full bottle just because I enjoy the scent so much. Hopefully some heavy over-spraying will help boost the performance.

joshcolognizer

I agree with the poster who said it smells "strange". Too lemony and musky for my taste.

shohruhnorqulov08

My dad's favorite perfume. I like it too, but it's not my favorite. It is magnificent, especially in spring and summer. The sillage is also excellent.

thaisonnguyen06

I discovered that this scent on my skin was different when I sprayed it on the perfume test paper... on the test paper it smelled much fresher, perhaps the negative reviews are due to people's skin conditions. Doesn't smell right.

On my skin it becomes an old, aged scent.

The performance of versace perfumes is not good in my experience (especially "poor" homme... although I quite like this scent).

colcjf

Beware buying this.... It may have been reformulated as this lasts for under 5 minutes (literally)... Tester was a lot better...Tried it on my friends too, no one could smell it in high heat (after 10+ sprays)...There must be bad batches out there

scrutinizing

Wow, such a nice scent, i’m a big fan of versace pour homme, this is even better.
To me it’s a feesh scent with a hint of sweetness, i don’t know if its the starfruit.
Longevity is ok for a fresh scent, probably among the best i have, you get whiffs for multiple hours.
It is safe to buy, you won’t regret it, speciallt for the prices they run for

iker091611

summer scent

Sauvage77

Extremely fresh pleasant scent suitable for hot summer days. You will have to reapply and do more sprays since it doesnt really last long.

SweetPeaPea

So refreshing during the summer. Timeless. This and Dior Homme Cologne are staples in my summer arsenal. Bottle is beautiful to display as well.

SammerPharaoh

Timeless iconic freshie, i live in Egypt the climate is humid , this scent is very suitable for kinda weather, i see people complaining about performance, but on me this is long lasting in summer and spring.
It's also unisex
Recommend for sure

Bigmike650

This fragrance is almost 20 years old but still very much relevant today. This a beautiful masculine freshie that can be worn in any situation and most weather conditions. Honestly, winter time is the only time I wouldn’t rock this. Very fresh and masculine fragrance. Doesn’t smell outdated at all

UtahSunDevil

I never gave this fragrance much of a chance, even though I've seen it around. I like fresh fragrances, but don't love them. They don't seem to last and rarely project after an hour or two on my skin. However, this year, I'm keeping an open mind and looking at new options I hadn't considered in the past. Too many have recommended MEF (including my son) to not make it a candidate to try. So, a couple of weeks ago I got it at a good price and wore it while working around the house on a Saturday.

I was surprised that MEF smelled unique, unlike other 'fresh scents'. I was surprised that it stayed on my skin for hours, unlike other 'fresh scents'. I was surprised that I never got tired of the fresh smell, as I do with other 'fresh scents'. I was surprised that it for a cologne that had been around for such a long time, I had never smelled or purchased it before now. Finally, I'm surprised at how much I love it. Based on what others have said - it's in the warm weather that MEF shines. Well, it's still in the 30s right now - so I look forward to wearing it while golfing this summer.

For the record, this smells entirely different than Versace PH to my nose, while on my skin. They both are 'fresh' scents, but my bottle of VPH doesn't see a lot of action in the rotation, but MEF will. VPH has too much of an "aromatic/makeup/perfume" smell that tires my nose. There is something about the smell of MEF that I really enjoy. I'm glad I gave it a chance.

Idubbz_gucci

I love this cologne I only have a sample right now but I'm planning on buying a full bottle very nice light and aquatic I LOVE THIS

nisarsarah9

I read here, somewhere that someone was looking for an affordable inspiration of this then I would like to suggest to try out 'Fresh Man' from The Dua Brand. It is just for $33 and is so close to the original. My brother recently tried it out and loved it and whenever he sprays it, it smells so good, aquatic and fresh.

Chris45

sophia97 maybe we have different opiniins on exspensive. $40 is not exspensive. Noone is duping a $40 fragrance 🤣🤣 just get the original. Since apparently thats what he wants

AkselSvEn

good cheapie good on hot days but smells like fucking normal butikken i norge

TonySpilotro

Although its very weak , I really love this one. Fresh , crisp , clean ..love it. Just wish it wasnt so weak.

ConColognes

This is one of my favourite colognes I own.

It doesn’t have the best silage, the projection falls off pretty fast but I find it lasts pretty long on clothing.
The smell is simple and you smell clean. I haven’t found anything similar (closest was MB legend spirit but that’s more citrusy). The smell is similar to fresh clean laundry before it’s transferred to the dryer. It’s like you freshly shower when you apply the cologne there’s an aspect that is “wet” making it such a good summer/vacation scent.
I don’t think the time of day will affect this cologne, your location is what matters.

YoutubeChannelBobGianShow

Instantly became my new dumb reach perfume!

Timeless, Classic, Fresh, Clean, Straight Out of the shower scent. Scent of handsome man!

Pavlos St

It is a remarkable summer fragrance, however either you stick with this one which projects in the medium level and can be purchased in reasonable price, either you prefer a niche brand with higher expectations in terms of the quality and longevity.

delancy

"Heat heat and heat is what u need for this to shine summer 90+ and it shines hard" - I couldn't agree with this more.

I want you to picture the following:

You're an expat in a chaotic, noisy, polluted, borderline dystopian Southeast Asian metropolis (Jakarta). One Friday afternoon after work, you decide to fly over to Bali to decompress, you decide to leave all of your worries and niggling anxieties behind you in the Big Durian.

It's currently Saturday afternoon, a lazy 2 pm, and you're lying on a sun bed at a 5-star resort in Nusa Dua or a private villa with private pool in Canggu. A beautiful woman is lying on another sun bed beside you, the sun is shining directly above, and there are no clouds in the deep blue sky today. From behind your sunglasses, you're watching a plane slowly leave its contrail high above, a slight breeze is blowing the nearby fragrant frangipani trees just enough to dissipate the heat from the equatorial humidity. You're drinking endless free flow cocktails, you're reading a classic, tonight you'll both go out for a beachside dinner before more cocktails at a bar before coming back to your resort/villa, and, you all know what ;)

But right now, you smell exotic incense wafting over from a nearby Balinese temple, breezy frangipani trees, the coconut-fragranced sun tan cream that the beautiful woman next to you is baking in, and you smell Versace Man Eau Fraiche wafting off your own body.

On Sunday night, you will have to fly back to that chaotic, noisy, polluted, borderline dystopian Southeast Asian metropolis, but for now, in this moment, life doesn't get any better at all.

That is how Versace Man Eau Fraiche is best utilized. Is it my favorite fragrance in the world? No way, not even close. Is it a better fragrance than pre-2020 bottles of Versace Pour Homme? No way, not even close. Does it smell borderline immature and kinda tacky? Yeah, kinda, these days, but still no way near as bad as the current-day Ambroxan heavy blue monstrosities that we are all subjected to now.

This is one of the absolute best holiday/vacation fragrances you can buy. Period. This is as close to a "holiday in a bottle" as you can get.

I've got a big collection so I don't wear this all too often. In fact, I've had the same bottle since 2015. But for me, whenever I put this on, it means that life (for at least that moment in time) is very, very, very good.

Holiday in a bottle.

Warrenimpss

Heat heat and heat is what u need for this to shine summer 90+ and it shines hard

Jayfrommaine

@sophia97 use discounters it's only like 40$ USD, if you get tester without a cap it's only like 30$, but if you want a dupe get armaf aura fresh since it's even cheaper and lasts longer. But I'd just get the original, use jomashop or foreverlux or perfume-empire which are all legit sites

Sophia97

Someone help me get this fragrance! My brother has been in search for this bottle since he has smelled on his friend. Since it's a bit expensive, we are able to get our hands on it. I was thinking to gift him this fragrance on his birthday since he has been talking about it 24/7. It would be a huge help if anyone knows a dupe or alternative of this fragrance.

ambatuspray

SOUR! In a good way. This fragrance is great for everyday wear, light and inoffensive. This is something great for the beach or days when it's hot. For the price, longevity might not be that good, but fresh type of scents really don't last long. One thing i can say though, in the heat this fragrance is insane!

Gogyanich

If i feeling down and wanna feel joyfull i wear this, it's so fun i can't describe. Longevity and sillage is defenitly a weak point but oversparying helps to get full day with it and it's light so you won't choke.

Flatoutchad

I'm just turning 50 so my opinions on different frags have changed. No longer do I care about compliments. Like I wear them cause I like the smell and maybe the fumes trigger old nostalgia. I like most in my age group grew up with the two legends, Polo Green, and Drakkar. I immediately loved the depth of each one and it reflected what I want to smell and others to know that is how I smell. Even as an adult I found those two sufficient. I didn't think anything possible could smell better. I didn't think there was this vast, almost infinite world of endless scents. Most of the good ones haven't even been a dream back in the 80's and 90's. What I'm getting at is I smelled this very cologne, Versace Man EF. I was at a Macy's and it to me was the gateway from my old beliefs of Polo & Drakkar, into a whole new world and this scent is what got me on the fragrance conscious world. This was so fresh, and smelled so unique to me. I'd put it in there with another Versace, Versace Pour Homne, that fresh, clean, just amazing. This one has been in my collection since it came out. It opened up a doorway that so much of my cash went thru. Lately the door is shut, as some of my 60+ collection run out, I usually don't replace it unless it's 10/10. Versace Pour Homne has a couple smell-alikes, Missioni Wave and Chanel Allure Home Sport, smell identical but but I still love this scent till this day. I have it on today and I live in Florida so the summer scents usually get used 9 out of the 12 months.
I know some get fragrances not cause they like them, but cause they sit there just anticipating, practicing what they are gonna say to someone other than their family and friends who compliment them.

I just had to write a homage to this scent. It's here as it's always been here. Same smell, same performance, no changes. Half of the batch variations smelling different is just bs, people like to think that but these people follow a recipe for their juice, just like a cookbook. It's gonna be the same, time after time. So Versace has a super special place in my heart. This scent has cost me in the thousands, high thousands, for opening me to this world.

The scent here is just breathtaking almost. It's so different than anything out there at the time. It's so fresh and dries down and long after you stop smelling it, you leave this nice trail that is subtle and pleasant. If you were in a shopping line and someone had this on, you would immediately take your eyes off the National Enquirer rack and wonder where this is coming from. I'd say almost the exact same thing for Versace PH, as it's fresh and the ingredients are a bunch so it's just amazing someone mixed all those ingredients to this amazing scent. Beautiful, thank you Versace for keeping these legends alive and selling.

Some think differently and say this isn't special and I can see that angle too. It just always brings back memories when I wore it at different times of my life. The smell triggers the nostalgia and you can even go back to the moment. Anyone new wanting to open their collection and join the fragrance world this is a must.

kaneh2323

Don't get me wrong this could be great for people who don't like standing out. The price is cheap, the smell is generally good, but the performance isn't there.

Ford4630

Ignore the haters, I have dozens of fragrances in my collection, including “top” designer scents and many that are very difficult to find, yet this is the one I wear the most every day. Simple, fresh, clean, reasonably priced, and easy to wear at any time of the year.

9/10 all day long.

Jqwalls

A fragrance for people who don’t like fragrance. One of the weakest, most watered down citrus fragrances I’ve ever experienced. I do not understand the hype or the price. Save your money and just let a $5 body wash be your fragrance. It will be stronger and cheaper. 1/10

ScentedBear

Pleasing summertime scent. Somewhat reminds me of Dior Homme Cologne, although is inferior in every regard. Doesn't last long and is rather synthetic. Very inoffensive and safe.

Snydes88

I must say this is very amazing summer time scent 😍 👌🏼 When I think of heat waves during summer I see this citrus fresh fragrance at the top of the list. It is a refreshing one for sure during those 90°+ days. The Star fruit note gives this a sour/sweet smell while giving it a tropical twist when mixed with the other top notes. The scent profile is very pleasant. Chrome Sport is almost identical. I would give this a 5/5 for the scent. The performance is right around par for a summer time freshie. I personally get 3-5 hours with 4 hours being average. 6 hours on clothing. The projection is strong, especially once your body chemicals get heated up during those high temperatures of summer. ☀️ The first 60-90 minutes the projection is very airy and sillaged is pushing. 3-5 ft with nice whiffs. Hours 2 to 4 the airy projection starts to die back to 1-2ft with whiffs from time to time. Hour 5 and 5.5 it becomes a skin scent with little to no whiffs. The performance is ok...I feel like Aura Fresh and Chrome Sport is closest to this DNA that lasts a bit longer. I would rate the performance a 3/5. The price does match the quality with this fragrance. I picked up mine up for $48.50 for a 3.4 oz. There are many different sizes and prices for this fragrance which makes it nice. I would rate the price a 4/5. I think there are other options to have this same DNA for a cheaper price with better performance. Overall I would give this fragrance a 4/5. This is very easy to wear fragrance. You can wear this in any causal setting. Summer is it's prime time, but on warmer spring and fall weather you can rock it. At least get your nose on it and test it out. 🏖🍹

This one is very light on smell which I don’t enjoy. Not long lasting. 5/10

quynnt

Versace Eau Fraiche is a great-smelling citrus fragrance which is very realistic smelling. The only problem is the longevity and projection as it sticks to the skin after only an hour. Too weak to use in my opinion.

johanfaermann

I love the scent. Very fresh and a very realistic lemon in my opinion

And heads up, Eau Fraiche is an eau de toilette, contrary to what user @brownsplus_erosequalspeak said.

brownsplus_erosequalspeak

i like this, but its an eau fraiche and it just doesnt last long, if they make an EDT of this it would be a 10/10 but as it stands it gets a 7.3/10

This is really nice. Nothing special though. It’s a great basic summer freshie, but I won’t buy a full bottle because I have some better summer scents.

osum54

This is a very weak green fragrance that has similarities to Nautica Voyage. I do not like Nautica Voyage, so you can probably guess that I do not like this fragrance. I love every Versace fragrance I have smelled except this one.

solulszabolcs

Nice summer scent. Unfortunately, it is not long last. Take it with you and spray it several times.

heysmell

the perfume smells exactly like the bottle - fresh, light blue water - but it is not a typical heavy blue fragrance.
so maybe that is why many people are disappointed,
Fraiche does not smell like Chanel bleu, Sauvage, Dylan, nor is it sweet like one million etc.
Remember that it is a fragrance for the summer and for hot weather, only then it gives everything and only then it should be judged.
It is also necessary to apply it a lot and to reapply it from time to time.
If you expect a heavy fragrance for the winter, this is not for you, because it is a subtle fragrance, I would say refined and created by Olivier.
Remember that there are e.d.t and deodorant versions and this is the difference.
Fraiche never project heavily, but they need heat to be able to do so.

soplekongen

Smells really nice, I gave this as a gift to my dad and he wears it whenever we have guests over, and on other special occasions
The scent itself is really nice and pleasant, you cant really go wrong with this

coolerberr

It is gone in 1 hour. No projection. had my big 200ml bottle for years and tried it so manny times it just never pleases me. its better to take a shower with dove because i dont like this sharp fast ending smell. Never again. Eros is good but this is like water smells nothing after 1 hour.

Hugh-Jass123

Versace man (overhyped) eau fraiche.

I am so disappointed in this fragrance. I got this as a gift from my uncle after he said it’s too youthful for him. It smells not bad just lemony it’s only lemon which is fine but nothing great. But the performance is where it annoys me, everyone says it has great performance but this has to be the worst performing fragrance I have ever tried. It is gone in 1 hour. 1HOUR!. There’s no point in talking about projection because there is no longevity to test the projection. I now hate this fragrance because of it and am angry with the Reviews of it. Now I have realised I must of got a bad batch because me and my friend both own it but he said it lasts so much longer than I said. We both wore it to school and when I arrived his smelt much more prominent whereas mine was already starting to die down. His lasted 6 more hours and mine was instantly gone 30 minutes after I arrived. 😢

Smell: (5/10)
Longevity: (1/10)
Projection: (0/10)
Overall: (1.5/10)

I can’t recommend this fragrance even after realizing I probably just have a bad batch. I hope if you have it you enjoy it but I don’t and I forgot to mention how horrible quality the bottle is. It’s plastic at the top next to the atomisier and it’s starting to peel off 😡

I traded it for a Tom ford 2ml, sample lol. It was a bad trade but I honestly don’t wear it no one wanted it and I needed it out of my collection and I instead got a sample I would actually wear

I must have a thing for scents made by guys named Olivier (Cresp & Pescheux) as Explorer, Eros Flame and Versace Man are among my favorites. This is one I received years ago (batch is from 2012) and I used about 50% then once the weather cooled off I stopped using it for several years in favor of Eros. As I've recently gotten far more into fragrances and enjoy trying to pick out the notes, I dusted this off and found myself loving it again. I don't know why, as it's not listed as one of the notes, but I get a noticeable ambergris vibe when just smelling the bottle after removing the cap but not once it's sprayed. It's definitely heavy on the cardamom in the opening but dries down to a nice, woodsy scent that projects and lasts quite a while for me.

I see a few comments about it being weak; I'm a guy that typically just likes a single spray, MAYBE two for some EDTs, as I'm never trying to be the loudest person in the room but my wife commented on it's strength after a few hours of just one spray. Perhaps that's due to my bottle being from 2012 and newer ones have been reformulated? Not sure if this was marketed as an aquatic or just a slightly "more aquatic" version but I don't get as much fresh or aquatic as I do woodsy so don't let the fresh blue appearance or name fool you.

Adamski_

Opening can feel synthetic and harsh, longevity is weak compared to other Versace fragrances, price can be a bit steep depending on where you can find it, it can be a good beginner perfume but if you are a novice collector I would stay away,

gergely.both

A fizzy and ripe summer daytime fragrance that is linear.

NoirRGV

I don't understand the D&G comparisons. D&G light blue smells like a woman whereas Versace smells manly.

Anyways, this is probably the most versatile fragrance in my huge collection. I'm wearing in the winter and it still uplifting. It's a workhorse in the summer and lasts around 5-6 hours. Kind of sucks hype it up now due to tik Tok because every dude knows this was great years ago without any hype. Women seem to love it on a man too

Fragrancee123

Kind of too herbal, too green, like if you take some plant in early spring and cut it, that how it smell to me.

jinjayagi

I see many opinions on either side of the table here. It's an icey cold scent that's wild and rearing to go. This is the only fragrance I have that gives me this impression. It reminds me of my father when he used to gel his hair and wear some kind of extravagant button-up with a black blazer jacket and race out some nights. It may be a personal experience smelling this scent only on that rough occasion, however I believe he also felt the need to wear solely this Vercace fragrance on that occasion too. Then, it is a lesson learnt, and perhaps one night I will also use this.

monsieur.moustache

Opening is somewhat generic citrus. Dry down is marginally better, but muted. Can pick up on the wood note a bit.

Eau fraiche translates to "fresh water" and that is not a misnomer in this case. This is a very light fragrance that doesn't project well. It does, however, last all day.

If you are a freshie aficionado, might be worth a try; otherwise, you aren't missing much.

5/10

vdog

I'm not sure exactly what they removed, but I remember getting a bottle around a decade ago, where I could detect the woodsy notes listed here. They were soft, but blended perfectly with the tang of the star fruit and crystal blue water. Now, it seems so one dimensional, all I get is a sour fruity astringent smell. I'm sure it still smells good in the heat of summer, but I used to be able to rock this well into fall with my old bottle.

hotsteppa_goodsmella

Now that this is gaining popularity again due to the TikTok brigade, I figure I'll proclaim my love for it too. Spent the better part of the 2010's gatekeeping this once the popularity died down, but I knew something this good would always come back into style.

Doesn't get better than this for the price. Blows Light Blue and any other "blue" frags out of the water. You can't not smile when you wear this. I'd call it a faultless fragrance but the longevity is trash. I buy a 6.7oz every spring and use the entire thing up by the time autumn hits. Don't care if I have to reapply 5x a day, throw a bottle in your backpack/vehicle and keep it moving. For the price point? It's that good.

Alexey Fisher

Very good fresh fragrance. Nothing unique but definitely worth its money. Good projection.

OG_Stewie8564

I love this scent! Very masculine, light, and natural for a great price! I think it fits in the spring and summer seasons. The only problem is that it doesn't last as long on my skin (around 30 minutes). I recommend checking it out though! Longevity is different for everyone! Overall, 7/10 👍

Halian

Do not be deceived by the colour sparkling light blue, icy bottle outlook and the name Eau Fraiche (literally means fresh water). It is NOT. If you are looking forward to a clean refreshing tone in your first sniff, your expectation will not be met.

The cardamom appears dominant in the opening, with lemon and bergamot sourness backing it up. After 5 minutes, the strength has mellowed down to a weak spicy skin scent. Won't last long on you, and those who know perfume stuff would guess that you are wearing a mass-market designer synthetic fragrance, which is what it is.

You won't despise it, but you know what you will get when you pay a less-than-premium price, which mostly goes to the brand license name Versace. If this not a Versace, you won't even finish a free 2ml vial of this liquid.

2.5 stars over 5

SwampSaddle

The opening of this fragrance is bright and citrusy, and the star fruit gives it a tropical vibe. The mids are aromatic without being too spicy (which is a plus). The base is very well blended, although I don't notice much of a woody accord. I could definitely see myself wearing this by a swimming pool during the high heat of summer.

Deekerr16

Nice and dry woody scent, more lavender per more sprays. Great for high heat, has a dryness like Lalique Encre Noir but a bit more substance from the fruits and overall more pleasant.

ieop8ny

extremely easy to wear but for the price, not gonna repurchase it sorry

KevD86

Easy to wear spring/summer dumb reach that will never fail you. Airy, clean, shower fresh, with a hint of sexy. Citrus, aromatic, no one will ever not like this on you. Completely inoffensive. A forever staple in any fragrance collection. 8.6/10.

ScentedRoyalty

This is similar to light blue by D&G but with a much more zesty smell to it. It has like a burnt lemon smell to it was good when it came it out theirs way better things for the price that this goes for.

Versace Eau Fraiche is pure, effortless charm in a bottle! The initial burst is like a Mediterranean breeze, hitting you with a citrusy punch. It's like a burst of sunshine on a summer day, instantly lifting your mood.
As it settles, you get this cool, aquatic vibe blended with subtle florals. It's like a tranquil stroll by the beach - calming and refreshing at the same time. Versatile is an understatement - it suits any occasion and time of year. From a casual outing to a classy event, it's got you covered.
The best part? The longevity is solid. It stays with you, subtly reminding you of its presence throughout the day. And the bottle design? It's sleek and embodies the freshness and sophistication of the fragrance.
Versace Eau Fraiche has a permanent spot in my collection. It's a go-to choice that never disappoints, leaving a trail of compliments wherever I go. If you're after that signature, vibrant Versace feel, this is it. Highly recommend!

Cognoscenti01

A good clean, fresh fragrance for warm, humid weather conditions. Bang for the buck from Versace.

ChicoJay

Love this fragrance. Fresh, crisp, easy on your wallet, and on my skin I get great performance. Definitely a spring/summer scent. Blind buy worthy, office safe as well.

martonv92

Yet another Versace crowd pleaser. Extremely easy to wear, super versatile, cheap warm weather scent. On me it lasts about 5-6 hours - and for the price, it's more than enough. Love it!

ivorianangel

an aquatic i can get behind . easy going sailor vibe, and kinda unisex with how the starfruit reminds me of lychee . id say its a safe blind buy, longevity is like 5 hours on skin but much longer on clothes obv .

ahmadash

Amazing , tropical, fruity freshness in a bottle that just smells so good. Probably one of my favorite summer scents but unfortunately does not last as long and projects moderately yet this is still so good for the price! 8.8/10

CARIBBEAN TROPICAL CITRUSY SWEET FRESHNESS

I am not really an expert on fresh fragrances. Most of the time I just like it or I just don't. Versace's Eau Fraiche is one that I like, and even better, I can explain why.
The slightly sweet opening with a sharp lemon allows one to distinguish a fruity note of carambola and a light touch of wood. The fragrance develops with some herbaceous and aniseed nuances and, finally, reveals a woody and ambery background with an almost marine ambergris.
It is not an aquatic fragrance (I like that), and the fruity touch of the carambola pear/apple scent gives it a particular and almost tropical vibe. The light but constant presence of wood with the fresh softness of the ambergris creates a connection with the original Versace Man, a perfume of which I am particularly fond.
The fragrance is undoubtedly masculine and usually causes positive reactions above average, especially by the female sector, but a few points below his brother Versace Eros. Longevity is appreciable for a fresh aroma, but sillage and projection can only be considered normal for a citrus scent.
As for its design and presentation ... well, sometimes not everything can be done well. This bottle with its shape and color, just suggests to me a new food container model about about to be launched by Tupperware. The traditional Versace "Class & Taste" forgot to visit the flacon designer during the creative process... unexpected output from a marketing division.

My opinion: For those who like perfumes like Light Blue, Starwalker and Chrome, this is a slightly different option that should be tried. I prefer the Versace offer without a doubt.

K_Wood_22

Because of all the hype, I blind bought this in a jumbo bottle, at an excellent price. It did not live up to expectations.
It smells OK on the atomizer, or in the air, but on my skin it becomes overpoweringly sour and musky. It irritates my sinuses and makes my eyes burn and causes a minor headache. When I wore this, people around me agreed with my assessment. Zero compliments, just several complaints. The last time I tried to wear it in the hopes that it would grow on me, I finally took a shower to scrub it off, because I just couldn't stand it anymore.

If you like sour citrus fragrances and of this works with your skin chemistry, it's probably best as a summer daytime fragrance.
Good projection and longevity, but it's too offensive on my skin. I gave away my bottle.

DobriAndonov

Bought it because of the hype. Back then I was in the begining of my journey and watched to Jeremy Fragrance videos lol (before the "POWERR!!!" era). It was in several of his "Top ..." videos. I saw the price and bought it.

But it didn't worked well on me. It didn't worked at all, tbh. Yeah, it is "Eau Fresh" concentration and it hasn't to be very potent, but that frag lasts just a couple of minutes on me. Weak projection, not a hint of a sillage... Just a general 'meh'.

Amelio77

VEry good for summer hot days , really nice fresh opening different from other summer fragrances maybe its the starfruit idk but its very addicting.
This is definetly more for a day time , but it could still work during summer n spring nights aswell.
Has decent longevity on my skin like 6 7 hours , but you can really smell it for the first 2 3 hours .

nirvblakr

Eau Fraiche is the lowest fragrance concentration at 1-3%. But this is misleading coz it's an EDT.
Opening is fresh, playful and aquatic. You would have guessed it that this won't last long and would require multiple resprays during the day. If you can wear fragrance at the beach or sa swimming pool, this could be the one. Worn when sunbathing in that afterwards it'll disappear before you jump in the water. Longevity is 2-3 hours. A level up of Nenuco or Denenes. Unli respray is welcome without being cloying. Smell is satisfying on resprays. If this is your only fragrance you might need more than 100ml. Then invest in a 10ml atomizer to bring during the day. Perfect for teens and young professionals. OK for old people who wants to be cute. On layering, you can spray first something weak then spray over something more concentrated for beast mode. This can be used as base fragrance for layering. Any thoughts?

Trollhammerx

I adore this fragrance. All day at work and at the gym. Its a wonderful fresh and great scent that gives me confidence. I wish my home could smell like this regularly. My current go-to office and daytime fragrance at a great value. Wish longevity could be improved.

Kyely

Love, love, love, adore this fragrance it is citrusy, but it is very nice and dry. It all is very pleasant. I highly recommend this for an every day fragrance. It is light and not heavy and very easy on the nose and very sexy and put together man very fresh. It is just a very versatile, classic amazing fragrant every day perfume.

istvan.buda.779

Only perfume in my collection that I will buy a back up bottle

Bregondo

Very citrusy, too sharp, fresh, sporty summer scent. It has a harsh sharp citrusy opening but when it settled down a bit it reminded me of Bvlgari Extreme, both definitely share some similarities scent-wise. Fits more for casual daytime wear in the outdoors when it is hot and sunny. This would be a very good fragrance for physical activities. Projection: radiates within 3-4 feet radius but dissipates rather quickly after no more than 10 minutes it will stay close around 1 feet. Longevity: lasts 1-3 hours.

cravinsky

Nice citrus opening with a twist of spice, perfect for hot weather and definitely a summer fragrance. Sadly doesn't last long for me, becomes a skin scent after 20 mins and completely gone after 3-4 hours.

Bronstet

* Clean and uplifting citrus forward aromatic cologne
* Virtually identical to Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue and far more affordable
* Completely unisex despite what the branding would have you believe
* Perfect for Spring and Summer seasons
* Good for all business and pleasure occasions and events

* Bottle is outdated and a bit tacky, not as stylish as the Versace Pour Homme line bottles
* Very mild performer for a designer fragrance
* Highly alcoholic off-putting note in the opening that takes a few seconds to calm down
* Not good for the Winter season

Versace Man Eau Fraiche is a very pleasant citrus forward cologne. There's a strong alcoholic note on the opening that posters below have described as a Windex glass cleaner smell that takes a few seconds to die down. Once it does, it becomes an extremely pleasant citrusy and musky fragrance. It's virtually identical to the Dolce & Gabbana's Light Blue and is far more affordable, especially if you can find it on sale at an online discounter as I did. It's clean and uplifting, great for the warmer weather seasons and good for all business and personal use. It's just as good going to the gym as it is in the office or for a night out on the town. A very good all around performer. Despite the Versace Man branding, this is actually a pretty unisex fragrance and can absolutely be worn by women without issue.

The major knock against it which others have noted below is that it's a very average performer. Sillage, longevity and projection are all average, and it does require reapplication throughout the day. That's not good for a designer level cologne and I wouldn't be happy if I had to pay full retail price for it. That average performance combined with the citrus base makes it a poor choice for the colder seasons, especially Winter. I also find the bottle quite outdated and nowhere near as stylish as the Versace Pour Homme line bottles which have a similar shape but are sleeker and more modern.

undeed

i thought this fragrance was going to be way better before i smelled it. when i first sprayed it on my skin it smelled like baby wipes with A LOT of alcohol. as it dried down it stull smelled like baby wipes but with less alcohol. at least it lasts 6 hours, which is decent for a fresh fragrance. same goes for projection. i know some people like it but i dont think it is a safe blind buy. for me its a 3/10

Invasionbg

Very tranquil scent. Sunny day, a drink next to you and a little bit of breeze. Very calming and clean scent. Last very long time and actually projects super well on my skin.

jettf

Great cheapie! I really don't know how but I can get this one to last a long time on me. One of my favorite summer fragrances!

joshypop

It's a pretty good fragrance. People would wish it would last longer or have better projection, but, in my opinion this is the perfect scent to go with something that you could never overspray. I sprayed this about 15 times once and I'm sure no one smelt it, and although you may not like that, it's more important to me about smelling good than it is to others. It did take a while for me to appreciate it, I found it blinding a little after getting it, but, I was able to appreciate it for how it smells after a little bit of it sitting.

buggaluggachug

i smell nothing but citrus and windex
hopefully it changes after a full wearing!

Mojojojo85

This is a great summer fragrance. Bright, citrusy, aquatic, floral with a slight woodsy/musky undertone. Really quite an incredible scent profile IMO. I initially tried it on a test strip and I couldn't smell anything. I tried it again a few weeks later on skin and immediately had to buy it. It is a great masculine interpretation of a floral, aquatic fragrance. I was very surprised at how much I like this one. It lingers all day. I sprayed it at 6:30am and still caught whiffs of it at 8pm. Now I'm only speaking from my experience. I can't say its a beast but it projected for a good 2-3 hours and I could smell it in my scent bubble and off my clothes almost all day. I never thought I would like a floral scent on my self but I love this one. This is definitely another one that will be a staple in my collection.

Likewhatyoulike

Nothing wrong with this but to my nose it’s just L’eau D’Issey in a different bottle. Smells good, longevity is good but let down as I feel I already have it under Issey Miyake.

taytyperry

my man wears this in the spring/summer and it is the most clean, fresh, yet still sexy scent. he smells so good and has been wearing it for 5+ years now and i never get tired of it.

ScentNSent

Been using the same fresh fragrances for multiple summers; Versace pour homme, Missoni wave, Azzaro chrome, ADG Profondo, etc and decided to finally pull the trigger on a bottle of this.

While it is somewhat basic and nothing ground breaking, I can say this has become one of my favourites in the small freshie collection I have. It’s not a beastly performer, but since I work at a hospital and we’re technically not allowed to wear any fragrances it’s perfect for me, something to just smell good for me. I only spray about 3 sprays when at work and I’ll catch whiffs of it through my shift, even 4, 5, 6 hours in. I’m sure if I sprayed even 6 sprays I’d be able to project a bit more. Not as weak a performer as most people say.

Whateverwhocares

Light, masculine, airy lemon scent with a woody accord undertone and fruity overtone. Very nice mix. The lemon note is nice and fresh. Zesty.

Doesn’t really go anywhere. Assumes it’s character at the opening. Only change this makes is that it evaporates. Doesn’t last long. Be ready to reapply. Is okay. Not a bad buy if you get it on the cheap.

Mina Abdo

Amazing summer scent that still different from many offerings now days.
I always get good performance and projection in hot days.
For such price it is a steal.

YSLbenza

Most of y’all be babbling about fragrance are weak lives in the cold weather countries. I tried this yesterday and it was a total monster of a fragrance. Come to the tropics then you’ll realize the real performance of a fragrance.

boyan_v

Guys, if you want this smell (almost) with decent to good performance just buy Armaf aura fresh. It's cheap, smells like this one just less sweet but performs a lot better.

dantheman352

Versace Man Eau Fraiche is one of my favorite scents for the summer. Olivier Cresp created the men's version of Dolce Gabbana Light Blue for Women (2001), which happens to be another favorite of mine.

Versace Man Eau Fraiche is refreshing, invigorating, and pleasant. It mashes well with your skin chemistry and works wonderfully during hot and humid weather. For better longevity apply a non-scented cream prior to spraying the fragrance. This beauty is well-priced and blind-buy-safe. A must on any men's wardrobe for the summer season. It's currently part of this "I" Collection.

I would love to see a flanker to this fragrance. Hello Versace, If you are reading this review, please take note:

Man Eau Fraiche Parfum
Up everything of the original especially the woods with a higher oil concentration.

Man Eau Fraiche Intense Nights
Up everything of the original with a higher oil concentration and add Iris/Orris + soft Oud.

FragranceKnowledge827

Light, super fresh, with a fantastic burst of citrus. The textbook way to build a great summer cologne. As is common with summer colognes, however ,it lacks in the projection and longevity department. Don’t expect much scent after about 3 hours, and don’t expect the first few hours to be heavy in projection either. The cologne is perfect for the beach or the pool, where you don’t have to worry about it washing off. The cologne is cheap, unisex, and has a fantastic smell. The performance issues are the only problems. This cologne is a 4/5

Miomox

This one smells really mellow and weak for my taste. The smell is not bad by any means but it is weak for me. I used to wear this one at home. It is one of those that I would not buy again but it is fine if you are into that smell. I would recommend for an older gentleman probably 40+.

I prefer the Versace pour homme.

first impressions: Definitely reminds me of D+G light blue, bergamot and citrus that's wholly synthetic. A little sweeter. No risk taking, so it's not great or bad. It's fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine

The one that started it all for me at age 13. The first scent I ever truly was addicted to. Bright, airy, musky, woody, CLEAN. The citrus for me really dies down after the opening. The citrus does continue to support the juicy freshness through out but gives way to the manly clean and fresh vibe likely brought on by the woods/musks/aromatics and is really just supporting the brightness if you will. No brainer for a warm summer day but versatile enough to wear on any occasion. Gym and warm/hot summer weather are its biggest strengths imo. Maybe grab something else for cold winter days but any other time it can be a dumb reach. Cheap enough through discounters to make several decants to take wherever and reapply if needed. No it’s not lonnnnngg lasting projection wise but I feel like it’s better than what most people claim, more like moderate proj./longevity but I can smell this on me 8 hours later on skin. Cannot go wrong here even if you end up not loving it you won’t be offended by it nor will anyone else and personally I find this one to smell more “expensive” than Dylan Blue or Eros so this would work for summer/spring formal events in a pinch. This one is more sophisticated and classier than the other Versace big boys. A true classic and easy to find do NOT buy this retail, I just got 200ml for less than 70 bucks after tax. PS-If you have hollister so cal you can layer a small amount of that with this for a very interesting mix up if summer beach is the vibe. Usually layering stuff for me is too clashy but this is actually really nice.

I think the tarragon plays a bigger role than most ppl are mentioning here. I wish the citrus were more vibrant, just feels a little flat to me. Soft musky, woody drydown. Need 15 sprays MINIMUM. I’ll use this to go golfing and running errands for the summer. Spray and go type frag that will have you smelling pleasant, not something that will garner a lot of attention.

DSV03

Star fruit is a dominant note in this which I really like. Simple fresh and any time of season wear. Only thing is this barely last on skin.

jgherrera

I am one of those for which the starfruit is too much in this scent. The way it plays with the other notes and with my personal tastes is not good at all. Smells like a funeral home to me.

sea2sky

Amazing value! Just got a 100ml tester for 40 CAD. One of the best designer summer scents. I'm surprised people complain about performance. It stayed 5 hours on my skin easily, and I guess it will perform even better in hot temperatures.

eko.mtfkr

This lasts longer than I thought it would. Also, seems like heat really activates it and start projecting more. Nice summer scent.

Abdulrehman Maqsood

Smells like luxurious creamy citrusy vibes. Dry down is woodsy and spicy.

joeyplace

it’s a good scent but much better options for summer colognes it’s very good but has that slight sleazy uncle smell to it other Versace scents are much better options like Dylan blue or blue jeans

elmexicanoalto

smells like windex. dry down is a tad better but overall, a cheap fresh designer scent. think windex with a bunch on synthetic, cleaner notes. i’ve been used to a lot more complex, fresh ‘colognes’ lately that this is terrible.

flem

Freshish opening. Some synthetic citrus notes to start. There’s pepper, an apparently legally binding requirement for all perfumers to at least consider putting into fragrances targeting men. It’s unfortunately everywhere. I can pick up the cardamom a bit. But the pepper covers up a lot of the other scents.

The dry down feels like it has that sea salt note that so many of these fresh scents default to. It’s not in the note breakdown, but it really feels like it’s there. Reminds me of Bvgari Aqva because of that.

EDIT: Decided to try this again and both the sea salt and pepper are a little less than when I first tried it. Maybe I was having a sensitive nose day. Still a little sharp and spicy to start, but the dry down this time was much more pleasant. Only slightly peppery and slightly bitter lemon. But an overall fresh, clean, citrusy, and a little musky dry down. Still wouldn't rate this super highly, but in the realm of okay-to-decent.

It doesn't last long though. It became skin-only in about an hour or so.

Jackonium

What an amazing fresh, summer on the beach having cocktails fragrance. This fragrance is a vacation in a bottle. Its citrus, fruity, clean, and classy. The leman, star fruit combination is fantastic. The quality is the, the ingredients are well balanced.
It is such a pity that performance is a let down. Regardless of how much you put on, it just does not perform. I put on about 15 to 20 sprays and still at best i get around 3hrs of life span of the juice and then its gone. Projection is about an hour and it is stunning. While being a skin scent, it is very subtle, you can barely smell it.
Its a very beautiful fragrance overall and if only performance was better, this would be one of the best fresh fragrances on the market.

TipTopNotes

Not a bad fragrance. It's a fresh and somewhat cooling scent but I definitely get more of a green, herbaceous, maybe even slightly woody feel with this scent than a fruity, citrus-oriented one. In fact, I don't really get any citrus at all in this one. Maybe it's contributing to the freshness but other than that I don't smell it as citrus. The more I smelled it, the more my mind wandered into a weird territory that I know no one else will agree with:

Imagine the spices/seasonings that you'd put onto a roasted chicken. Seriously, it makes me think of rosemary, thyme, and...SAGE. That must be it! I think I'm really smelling the woody starfruit, terragon and especially the sage coming together and overpowering everything else. I know it's weird but it just smells so much like culinary herbs to my nose.

RajahSaheb

I just got myself some old stock on the cheap. This smells so similar to Armani Code Sport (the rubberized bottle)! It's nicer and less "synthetic" and if you can get it for under twenty bux then you're solid for a gym bag.

That amazing freshness that everyone is talking about lasts atleast half a day in really hot weather so there's that.

Ozyman

No mistakes dudes,
This is one of god's present to us all.
CLEAN, FRESH, YOUNG, HAPPY.
Heaven in a bottle and im not kidding.
I think that is the Best sumeer vacation perfume ever made!.
No worries, sandals, beaches and few sprays of that nice guy.
It will stay on your skin, on your cloth, on everything.
And actually it will project a nice, clean and calm bubble for few good hours...
It is so clean that for someone 'dirty' like me
I chose issey miyaki pour home instead, which has some of dirtiness...
But this Versace is a wonderful summer scent.
Its cheap because its old but its a great great perfume.
I got to find the right woman for me to spray it again.

Stock61863

When I smelled a sample on paper, I loved it. However when I used it on skin after buying a 1.7 oz bottle it was a different story. No matter how much I sprayed I could barely smell it, only picking up something reminding me of kitchen cleaner. Along with this it left me with a headache. Very disappointing.

justinmartini314

I went back and forth with this one. Initially, of the first spray, I didn't like it at all. I find that most Versace fragrances have terrible openings. Just a synthetic alcohol mess in the opening with this one and most Versaces. However, after a few minutes, it starts to become what it's supposed to be, and it's undeniably great smelling. I do get how some people might think it's generic which it is but it's just so pleasant that I couldn't say no to it. Citrus, fruits, and musk is what I get from this and it puts me in a summertime mood. Solid freshie. 8/10

dabeyondobsessedemperor

I can't lie, I've personally never been a fan of Versace's colognes. I find Eros overly minty, Eros Flame reminds me of cinnamon chewing gum, and Dylan Blue is cloyingly saccharine to my nose.

That being said, I love everything about Eau Fraiche.

It smells so much cleaner and smoother to me than any other Versace fragrance so far, and yes, even though it has a slightly synthetic aura about it, it smells so well-crafted.
Putting on this cologne is an instant recharge. Starfruit and citruses bring to mind a cooling summer cocktail by a private beach, or a refreshing swim in salty Pacific waters on a scorching-hot day. These notes linger through the entire composition, though the heart explores a hint of black pepper and the drydown introduces classic masculine notes of woods, ambers and musk. The overall scent profile remains juicy, sharp, and crisp, while still maintaining a dose of lightness, perfect for lovers of fresh, lemony, summery colognes.

I realize that an Eau Fraiche concentration almost automatically denotes weaker performance, but this exceeded my expectations. Will it last insanely long? No. Will it project past a foot or two? No. If you wear this in the winter, will it last longer than it took me to type up this comment? No. But will you get a few decent hours out of it on hot summer days? Abso-f*cking-lutely. In a warm climate, and solely in a warm climate, you'll be getting 4-6 hours of longevity with Versace Man Eau Fraiche, with the last 1-2 of them being as a skin scent. Not exactly perfect, and this means you'll have to reapply a lot throughout the day, BUT I've noticed that doubling the number of sprays works to enhance the performance. I personally use between 7-10 sprays (I know, go ahead and sue me) of Eau Fraiche on myself, and surprisingly, it lasts longer without smelling offensive or overpowering to anyone else. Just to make sure, I asked a few brutally honest people I know if they felt my cologne was too strong, but they just said it smelled nice. Do with this information what you will, but that's my personal experience.

Versace Man Eau Fraiche is slowly becoming one of my favorite dumb reach summer fragrances, especially for casual and easygoing outings. I'm planning to bring it on beach/tropical vacations, where it'd blend perfectly with the scent of saltwater seas. Oh, and I've also bought their body wash and deodorant for good measure, and both smell equally as good. Bottom line, if you're into the fresher scents, I almost 100% guarantee you'll like this, because it's extremely mass-pleasing and I can't think of any reason why anyone would dislike the scent profile. But if you feel that heavy performance is a major factor for you, then you might not like this.

MotorMouse

The Star Fruit is the 'star' of this perfume. This perfume is pretty linear but that is no bad thing if you like the star fruit note. I find moderate longevity on skin but it seems to last for hours if you also spray some on your clothing. I find i most enjoy this fragrance in the springtime or cool summer days in the UK. I find the star fruit note can become cloying in high heat.
As per other reviews have mentioned, Chrome Sport does smell very similar to this and i did have a bottle of it a couple of years ago. However, the Versace does smell better blended and seems to last a lot longer than Chrome Sport. Also, the Chrome Sport bottle's silver atomiser and surround did come loose after a few months, so the build quality is nowhere near as good either.
A nice spring fragrance with moderate to long lasting longevity, that smells a bit different to all the other 'blue' type fragrances out there.

Arman Ferdous

This perfume smells heavenly
If you like fresh perfume then this is a really good blind buy worthy one but my only complain is the performance... performance wise it sucks . My lasted on my skin for 1:30 hours and on dress it last 5-6 hours..and the condition was extended high heat

magnanimousjohn

If I could succinctly summarize this fragrance, it's like pulling out a freshly cut melon that's been swimming in a pool with a little too much chlorine in it for hours.

Fairly similar to VPH at first, with a really sharp note providing much of that "fresh" feeling. My nose isn't quite sure what that note is (star fruit? tarragon/sage?), but it smells vaguely melon-like and very poignant to me. That note also projects way too hard and for a surprisingly long time. Like hours after spraying, I can still smell it easily. Completely overwhelms the rest of the fragrance and becomes very offensive.

Chavez161

One of the best sunny hot holiday fragrances. Perfect for wearing a loose white shirt or top in the heat. Imagine beach and holidays in Spain vibes. Amazing scent even though it last a few hours its cheap enough to watrent spraying more times a day and affordable enough to re cop

auztie

Very very safe; I must warn you, find it for cheap! It is not worth spending alot on. Piss poor performance. Piss poor radiance. 8/10

AScentedFox

Good summer fragrance. Realistic smell of freshly cut citrus. Bad longevity on my skin <4h.

hananiah

I bought a decant for this and.. Kinda dissapointed. Maybe I have to go back again to it in a week or so. First impression is it become skin scent almost immediately eventho I sprayed very generously and it smells like wet wood. Either something wrong with my nose or theres something wrong with the decant. I heard its similar to light blue by DG. Maybe the OG? Because i have smelt the Intense version for women and I enjoyed it a lot. This one is not the same. Again, i have to retest it some weeks later to reassure

daveugber

My wife is most interested in citrus fragrances on me. Her favorites are Dior Homme Cologne and Zara Vibrant Leather (with the blue stem).

She likes Versace Eau Fraische for the Star Fruit note. It’s so similar to Starwalker by Montblanc. Both casual, warm day fragrances that have easy sillage and a synthetic up-close vibes.

defectedmonkey

This smells very similar to Starwalker and St Kitts. Both I find nauseating, this I like, but not love.
It's well blended and doesn't have any of the sharpness Starwalker does. It's also not too synthetically sweet like St Kitts is.
Just a well balanced mainstream fragrance, perfect for a hot summers day. :)

JusttheFactsMan

#6 in my "Tour de Fragrance"
I can't remember absolutely hating any Versace fragrance (Blue Jeans can be a bit sickening if you use too much), and I've loved many. This one is definitely in the love category. I will be wearing this all through the Summer. At first spray I'm getting a big rush of citrus which settles down quickly nicely warmed with pepper. This is a super fresh fragrance like D&G Light Blue, which I also like a lot, but the Versace is fruitier to my nose. I'll rotate this with the Light Blue and see which gets noticed. I suspect it will be this one as it seems to have better reach.

JonnyBadass

This is a must for hot summer days or beach vacations. I get more aquatic notes than I do fruit notes. In fact I don’t pick up on anything that I would call “fruity”, but rather a touch of citrus. That being said I have never smelled starfruit so I’m not sure what that smells like. To me, this scent makes me think of skin that has been in the ocean and the resort swimming pool all day, then showered in an outdoor shower by the beach using a nice ocean themed body wash. Leaving behind the faint soapy/woody smell of the body wash combined with hints of ocean air and sunscreen. This is light and inoffensive, but people will smell you if you get close as long as you use a few extra sprays. It only lasts around 4 hours on me, but it’s perfect for casual outings on summer days, especially in tropical settings, and can even transfer well into a romantic evening. I do get a prominent cedar note right after the dry down settles, then it fades into the background with a clean white musk which mixes harmoniously with the aquatic freshness.

Rohaan_A

Very nice summer refreshing freshie, smells like lemons with a kinda slight green peppery notes in the background.

Timyoungn304

I can’t remember if I already wrote about this one so I’m here to do it now. I’m sure this is one we’ve owned or currently do. And there’s a reason for it. You can’t go wrong with man eau fraiche. Wear this stuff on those 85°+ days and you’ll be the best smelling guy in the office or wherever you may be. You can definitely go too heavy with this one so be careful… no more than 7-8 sprays.

Collierado

Bright, invigorating citrus opening. A pinch of peppery spice bridges to a balanced woodsy base. Taken as a whole it is unmistakably aquatic, as the bottle would suggest.

Longevity is what you would expect from an eau fraiche, lasting just a couple hours on my skin. I actually like this quality here as it makes for an easy transition to a different scent or mood.

One of my first perfumes, this is my go-to after shower freshie.

islandgirlmaranda

As the very girly girl that I am, I do wear a lot of unisex fragrances and some men's. I own this and wear it on occasion. To my nose it's a very modern take on the classic love from the 90s, Cool Water for Men, the OG. That one to me is out-dated, but this is a modern fresh take. I love it! I am going to probably pass it along to my man. But this is great!!!

CyberGene

This is a blind purchase based on many people comparing it to Acqua di Gio. Well, there are many surprises here for me:
- It has almost nothing to do with ADG, however it's aquatic in a similar way if that makes any sense. If I have to elaborate, it's more ADG-aquatic rather than Cool Water-aquatic but again, much different than ADG
- I am really surprised nobody mentioned it but to me the opening is exactly like Clinique Happy for Men (one of my all time favorites) but what's more important: after half an hour it tranforms nicely into an almost identical clone of Sander for Men by Jil Sander which was one of my signature scents that I can't find anymore, so I'm really happy (no pun intended)! In other words it's like the perfect child of two of my all time favorites, hence:
- An instant love for me!
- It's also somehow similar to the dry down of L’Eau d’Issey Pour Homme Sport (which BTW is itself somehow similar to the aforementioned Sander for Men) but this one is fresher and more citrusy, whereas the L'Eau d'Issey has more spice and sour notes. I definitely prefer the Versace more for the added citrus and more sparkle.

I'll have to wear it more to have firm opinion and might update my review (not sure if that's possible though, it's my first review here). But I am sure this will become one of my signature scents. What's funny is my wife currently has runny nose and couldn't share her opinion. And she's the one who will be exposed to it more often than anyone else ;) But I'm sure she will like it.

I am confident this is one of those fragrances that you can't go wrong with. Even if you don't love it, at least you won't hate it. I can't imagine better fragrance for blind purchases.

abahvdbs

SALTY RINDY-CITRUS FRESH CLEAN MUSK AQUATIC
Bright clean & fresh with slight bitterness but mainly just a fresh watery clean 'mass-appealing' frag (it's non-offensive & smells good).

No harsh opening, Opens with fresh bright musk & rindy-citrus, as Versace Man Eau Fraiche (VMEF) dries it get more salty & rindy giving it a slight earthy-green bitterness and much more complexity than just being fresh & clean;

not a really sweet frag, i'd say it has minor sweetness, the amber is basically undetectable, the star fruit isn't syrupy or obnoxious and added with the lemon + bergamot comes off like grapefruit, the citrus notes are countered by the slight bitter/earthy/herbaceousness, and not spicy at all;

the citruses in the beginning along with it the salty-rindy accord(s) won't be detectable in the air/sillage after about 30mins, instead clean musk and watery saffron (smells like clean water) is what takes over the sillage, the woods are faint in the background (not detectable in the air), with sage showing up the further it dries;

can't really see how this would be "unisex", the musk is bright w/ a floral tinge (saffron) but the salty-rindy/earthy/bitterness wouldn't smells nice on woman, though it doesn't last and is not a main accord in the composition. As a man i wished the salty-bitter accord lasted longer, it reminds me of the earthy/bitter rindy citrus of Issey Miyake L'eau d'Issey PH Intense toned down & without the incense).

Projection/Sillage': DECENT, 4-5ft scent bubble w/ scent trail for the 1st hour

Performance/Longevity: DECENT, about 6-7 hours (on fabric)

Antonio Banderas Blue Seduction is almost 1:1 to VMEF but VMEF is more marine salty aquatic and AB Blue Seduction tropical aquatic (VMEF is more mature less fruity sweet than AB Blue Seduction), VMEF has rindy citrus (smells like grapefruit) which makes it more herbaceous than AB Blue Seduction which is juicy cantaloupe melon-sweet clean-musk aquatic, which makes sense, both are perfumed by Olivier Cresp, though AB Blue Seduction last a little longer than VMEF because it's more synthetic & sweeter.

musti12345

My own observation about this perfume is that it is not overwhelming no matter how much I spray it.
This scent is perfect for summer. It's like a refreshing slice of citrus paradise with a hint of woodiness that makes me feel like I'm in the middle of a forest. And let me tell you, the ladies can't get enough of it. It's like catnip to them. It's also a very versatile perfume. So you can wear it everywhere - work, school, party, date, you name it. I even wear it when I'm working out with my friends and it gives me extra energy.

pakistanstar

Versace Man Eau Fraiche is close to becoming a man himself. Unlike all the flash-in-the-pan vanilla bombs this one has lasted 17 years and counting. B O S S. Works best after a cleansing shower and has that aquatic feel without being too marine. Bottle looks like a swimming pool. That's appropriate as it tricks my girlfriend into letting me have a dip in the deep end. Plus there was that time her friends invited us to go chunky dunking together and it ended with everyone drying off in robes. Thanks Versace.

Yehoshua@me

Love it for a budget centric freshie..very similar to OG Aqua di Gio.. can’t go wrong with VMEF

Rock76

A very nice aquatic fragrance but unbelievably weak. Sillage is basically non existent and it only lasts an hour or so on skin. Wished they had made this juice more potent, pity such a nice summer fragrance but zero performance. Even my $20 Armaf performs better. VPH would be a better option.

Schnitzelheim

Smells like my older sister. Not bad, but not special. Same scent profile as D&G Light Blue for women so it's an extremely familiar vibe that's going to be more associated with women but hey if you like it, its not a bad scent. But if you want a more masculine vibe, steer clear. One girl asked me if I was wearing women's perfume.

Dvntex_

This is probably my favorite perfume from affordable designer realm I own. I think, the quality is fully appropriate to price tag you spend on bottle of this. This is well constructed formulation by Olivier Cresp, a very inspiring chemist. Very simple, obviously linear perfumery, very clean, light, airy and slightly sweet. Perfumer was so clever building this. You pay affordable price tag and you receive maximally pleasant smell for this price. Hedione based perfume together with Iso E Super, maybe Pink pepper raw materials as well, (because it is very lifted), white musks like Galaxolide, Ambrettolide, Muscone with Linalool compounds, Ethyl-Linalool, Citronellol, Bergamot molecules and some fruit Acetates that make this fruity aspect in the opening. The start of the fragrance is very pleasant. Lemon raw materials are very prominent in this, they become slightly sweeter and slightly acidic in the dry-down on high summer heat.

To be very fair, this is not that smoothly blended, also it is primarily aroma-chemicals based for sure, but this is nothing wrong with this at all. I love this light, slightly fruity top accord, as well as sweet lemon like dry-down in combination with clean musks. This is my summer staple, I enjoy it very much and can fully recommend this for the price tag it owns.

GV999

Smells like Nautica Voyage with worse performance and higer price. Summer aquatic freshie. Small sillage. Average performance.

For that money I would rather get 5 bottles of Nautica.

BASMAJ

Swimming pool in a bottle... the bottle design is not a coincidence!

Fresh and super manly... this and Versace man the purple bottle both are perfect fragrances for young men... this in the morning and the purple for the evening and you are good to go... both are timeless 💙 💜

Out of curiosity and for a nostalgic purpose I sprayed it on my wrist when I was at the mall earlier today & it took me 10 + years back in time when I owned it many years ago... still has the same beautiful scent profile 🥲💙

Performance is good... heavy projector for 2 hours plus 3 hours on the skin..not bad performance for a fresh fragrance... I'm happy because this still smells the same.

The House of VERSACE makes A M A Z I N G fresh fragrances 10/10 ... what happened to the purple bottle💜? discontinued?🤔

MZMpac81

Very floral, unisex scent. Sparkling lemon-lime top notes for sure; at first spray it really smells like a Sprite! I thought I'd love it, but it just isnt my jam. The dry down becomes more floral and powdery; not masculine at all with no bite or spice to it. I think it was the starfruit that was super off-putting to me; I had to do a mid-day wash-off. Great value cologne though if you like very bright, floral/powdery scents with low projection and light performance. More of an EDC.

Rogerant

Anyone get a hint if cannabis from this. I like it overall but to my nose there is a bit of a weed smell maybe its the star fruit but it really puts me off at times.
But I wear this to the gym light and inoffensive

ViceCity

If you can disregard the slightly unpleasant opening notes combination, this is a pretty reasonable buy for everyday summer use. Won't last long but it's fresh and inoffensive, with a good mixture of non-citrusy and citrusy fruit notes :) Carambola is a nice addition to the ensemble, bringing sweetness to counter the sour lemon and bergamot notes. It's a fruit that is commonly sold in my country but which I never expected to find in perfumery.

Man Eau Fraiche is not exceptional and there are summer fragrances out there which I enjoy much more, but can't fault it either. Worth getting on the cheap, as I did during a discount promotion campaign.

Snufkin97

I Love this scent!

Rdeveny

Fresh, Clean Scent, best right out of the shower and hot weather scent. It reminds me of many fresh fragrances, DG Light blue, MB Starwalker (awesome) and Chrome Sport. Office safe and inoffensive. You will not make a statement, but you will smell great.

Raymundo

Best way I can describe this is lime peel + wood. When the intense citrus wears off on the dry-down, it's much more appealing. Sometimes when smelling sweeter things beforehand, this aroma changes on me and it becomes kinda salty? Like seawater algae vibes. Mixed feelings because of this.

Tony Shades

Great scent, a supposedly masculine interpretation of the Light Blue for women scent profile by the same perfumer, but very light and fleeting. It basically has EDC performance and could hardly be used as a fragrance, especially in high heat for which it was actually designed. Such a shame.

[email protected]

Well the bottle is gorgeous. A+ for that aspect.

My wife loves this scent. I still have a hard time wearing it, even knowing that it drives her wild.
I'm pretty sure the carambola (starfruit) note is a no-go for me. Sorry, I just can't. I don't perceive this as a pleasant fragrance on a man or a woman. Some notes just don't lend themselves to fragrances worn by humans. For example, I like the smell of green peppers and gasoline, but I don't want to smell like them.
I also love these AI generated "Pros and Cons" that Fragrantica has now. The last Con reads, "Starfruit note may be overpowering to some". You got that @#*&^ right!

It's a disappointment, because I typically enjoy Versace fragrances (like Versace Pour Homme, Dylan Blue, Oud Noir and Eros).

Performance is only 3-4 hours (thankfully). I get maybe an hour of projection, then about 3 hours as a skin scent.

Somebody is destined to love this. Apparently it's pretty popular. So it goes.

CollectorGabe

Reminds me a lot of D&G light blue for women, also smells a bit outdated like a blast from the 2000’s

Ozyman

Beautiful smell !!
Aquatic, with citrus tone.
Reminds me summer vacations, when there are no worries at all!
Its so good, nothing sour, nothing aggressive, no tobacco or pepper, just nice and calm.!
I cannot wear it to work, or winter.
Only spring and summer, only weekend, better on holiday near the beach.
Wear it and go make love ha?

TateBaumgarn

I like the scent but it’s not very versatile, it’s primarily a summer fragrance. It’s great for those hot summer days.

ClaudioL

Overhyped. Get a unique vegetative scent (I assume the starfruit) that kind of smells like sweet vegetable flesh. The best parallel to this note I can think of would be the smell you get trying to peel the plastic wrap off of a cucumber with your fingernail, but you end up scratching the flesh of the cucumber. This note alone makes it smell unwearable to me, or at least on my skin. Lasts 2 hours max. Smells generally refreshing but I wouldn't want anyone to smell this on me, especially considering theres many better fragrances at a similar price that would fulfill the same role this fragrance does (even from the same house).

LuisLuis17

It smells like a kids pool party. Probably one of the worst fragrances I have ever smelled.

Claviator

Fresh!
Green apples.
After a while notes of cucumber (!)
Strange but not bad.
