I have two now: one connected to my old Hifi and one connected to my home cinema surround sound system. Fairly easy to set up for wifi. First unit I needed to upgrade the firmware. This was easy enough. Go to Pure website. Other unit updated itself easily. I stream all my music from my PC or Android device using the wifi (...you can use bluetooth too but think wifi is better). Really... for the price you can't beat it. You can buy wireless or bluetooth speakers but frankly for a good system you really have to cough up! My hifi is dated but it's brilliant. My surround system too so why not use them? Oh... Once you download the app you also can stream radio from all over the world! Fantastic!!!!

The Jongo took a long time to setup. Not sure why exactly, but the process to get the device in the network repeatedly failed. After several hours it did complete the process and now does connect reliably on power up. Unfortunately, the 'login to account' is redundant, as the website has closed, so the device is local use only. Using the app, the list of radio stations is haphazard and the search function is not very good. There doesn't appear to be a way of saving favourites. Overall, a disappointing experience. But you do get what you pay for.

I have given a five star review based on the the £14.95 + free delivery which I paid for the Jongo A2 and which arrived within 2days of ordering. Having read some nightmare reviews on setting up the wi-fi I would have been happy just using it as a Bluetooth receiver however within about 30 mins of getting it out of the box I had the Wi-Fi up and running and streaming music from my Android tablet and the Bluetooth working perfectly from both my tablet and laptop. The instructions are not very detailed but sufficient to allow me to easily connect up and get running without it being too stressful. For me the icing on the cake is the digital outputs which allow me to connect to an upscaling DAC and listen to almost CD quality streamed/Bluetooth music through my existing hi-fi, for the price and how amazing it sounds I would have given it more stars if I could for the price. Not sure it would sound as good if connected straight to the amp and using its own internal DAC but as I have it set up it streams far better sounding radio than my Pure DAB tuner can produce. A no brainer for the price!!Read full review

I have a bush record player that I wanted to be able to connect my jongo system to. This works really well with any old amplifier or hifi with aux in. Syncing is not as good as a SONOS etc. It does occasionally drop out but then you cannot get that sort of kit for around £30. It also helps if you have a good WIFI setup. When setting up, make sure you read the instructions carefully and don't forget to turn on caskid, otherwise it will only work properly with the pure app. My system now has 3 A2's and a T2. The only limitation is that you can't listen to different music in different rooms. Other than that, the Jongo is the cheapest and best value system available. Top tip: Buy a really cheap tablet or use an old phone as a dedicated music streamer.

Transmits a WiFi SSID, connect to it and start Pure audio app. Works very well, and the sound quality (adjusted to 'best' of course). Is amazing, streaming radio from the app or via Bluetooth. Recommended
