IKEA Xmas Offers - FREE visit to Santa, Ice-skating for 39p + more @ various stores!!

Not sure if this should be posted here, but thought this might be of use to some of you!

IKEA are holding Christmas events & activites at their stores across the UK - events are different from store to store, so check your local store online before travelling!!!

Some of the activities are:

Southampton store has Ice-skating for only 39p on 20th-21st December(buy a toy from IKEA, toys start at 39p, and get to ice-skate for free!) http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/store/southampton/activities

Wembley store has free visits to see Father Christmas on Saturday 11 & 18 December 12-18pm, and on Sunday 12 & 19 December 12-16pm http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/store/brent_park/activities

Birmingham store has free visits to see Father Christmas for all family card members on 11 - 12 Dec and 18 - 23 Dec from 10:30pm to 4:30pm http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/store/wednesbury/ikea_family

Milton Keynes store has 'Santa Lucia' on 13th Dec from 5pm - 7pm with a procession at 6pm and feed family for £5 (2 adults and 2 kids meals for £5) http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/store/milton_keynes/restaurant

Coventry store has free Ice-cream vouchers from handing in a wish list to Santa before 23rd Dec

Gateshead store http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/store/gateshead/ikea_family says:

    Wish I lived closer to an Ikea, my nearest is Leeds about an hour away, god knows how long in this weather though :(

    i'm 45 minutes from my nearest store but i LOVE going to IKEA so will brave the journey!!!!

    Edinburgh has daily web offers where you print out a voucher, I got an oak work top a couple of months ago for a fiver so always worth checking the website.

    looks like lakeside is doing a £10 voucher when you spend £60 but i can't see the dates as it's on showing the right half of the image on my netbook

    Spend £60 between 6th - 12th December, voucher can be used between 1st and 31st Jan 2011.

    Lakeside also doing a workshop (link halfway down page):

    "Add a more professional touch to the table this Christmas with our tableware workshop at IKEA Lakeside. Book yourself onto our workshop for quick and affordable ideas that help to create a warm and personal Christmas.

    The tableware workshop last an hour and a half and will be run at IKEA LAKESIDE on Sunday 12th December at 9:30. Entrance is exclusive to IKEA FAMILY members. Places are limited. Please register if you wish to attend. Deadline line for registration is on Saturday 11th December"
