The package was well designed and protected the product which is a quality and well made unit that looks and feels worth twice its selling price. Charging 3 units at a time never gave a sign of overheat or failure and charging was complete with no cut out by overload. A nice touch is the way the name 'Betron' lights up a pale blue when the charger is in use, the light is not obtrusive but a reminder that the unit is switched on ready for use. Good piece of kit.

Mine has just destroyed an expensive cable and possibly damaged my phone. Most importantly I was VERY lucky it didn't cause a fire. It got so hot that the cable reached a burning temperature but the unit itself burnt my skin. Please don't purchase this without caution. It is very likely I have a faulty one but I wouldn't risk it again.

The unit comes with a separate twist-in UK 13amp plug base, which suggests there are options for continental and US plug bases which would be most useful when traveling overseas. However the supplier indicates they do not supply these and sourcing them from elsewhere has so far proved elusive. Availability of these would merit a 5 star rating.
