GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme edition- the most high end zotac model for £575 which looks like an utter bargain (for a gtx 1080!) considering the overclockers UK are selling for £655
Though there is no clear mention of amp! extreme on the amazon page the pictures are for the card and model number listed corresponds with the amp! extreme model on Zotac's website.

SLI / Crossfire support is abysmal and DX12 games require the developer to code multi GPU support. Frame pacing issues and also lack of support at launch of a game.
A single GPU is ALWAYS better than two for games.

Whilst I still think this kind of money on a graphics card is entering the realms of insanity, if you absolutely must, this is about the cheapest it's been...

Just double checked the website for zotac, the amp! extreme (3 fan, higher clock) card has ZT-P10800B-10P product code the less expensive amp is ZT-P10800C-10P. The card on the above amazon page is for the amp! extreme for sure

The RX 480 is undoubtedly great value. Running itx I need a single card solution and some people don't want to have to deal with poor crossfire performance and developer implementation

where did you get your rx480s and how much. looking for a deal on these myself. Nearly 300 cheaper? So you landed them at £150 each? I definitely need the link on this please. I nearly pre ordered at £220 for the 8gb

Also the 2 mid range cards over 1 high end card is nothing new. Same stuff every release but I'd rather eat my foot than use two GPUs.
