Highly recommending going with the IPS. Going back to TN is like somebody sucking all the color out of life for me.

Same price, one is IPS, one is TN. Go for the IPS.

Not a bad price for a 27 incher even if 1080p. If you have OCD like me you'll start noticing the pixels if you prefer to position your monitor closer than the recommended arm's length, as I do, but for 90% of folks the extra screen real estate will compensate for the same pixel density being spread out over a larger area (remember 27 inches diagonal will give you a substantially larger viewing area than a 24 inch diagonal).

having used a ips screen for some years now using other peoples tn screen is not a nice experience
