I think this is a bargain for a five pack Micro USB leads!!!! UGreen cables are not your flimsy cables after a couple of uses start falling to bits. These feel more like a premium build for the price that you are paying.

It's listed as a 28AWG cable, so very basic cables with a thicker skin.
You really need 28/24AWG minimum (28AWG for data, 24AWG for power) for modern devices when charging. This is how almost all OEM (LG, HTC etc...) cables are. Samsung are 24AWG for all lines now (lower AWG = thicker cable). You can not use features like QuickCharge with cheaper cables - you *must* have higher AWG cables. The charger will auto detect this and change accordingly. You can use an app called "ampere" to check your charge rate if you think it's slow.
Don't get me wrong, it looks like they are constructed well, but if they truly are 28AWG as they say, then you won't get the fastest charging speeds out of them if you have anything from the last few years.
That to one side, it's still a great price for data cables alone.
I just wanted to add that lots of cables on Amazon are utter rubbish. The reason people spend a bit more on Anker (and a few others) is because it really makes a difference when charging on recent devices. Newer devices that are USB3/ USB-C also require the cable to be of a higher quality than the USB2 tat that has been churned out for years.
Just because the cable has nice brading and 'feels' well constructed, unless it's using a good AWG cable internally, it really counts for little. Of course, this is what costs!

Can someone recommend a good quality main plug to use these cables with. I am looking something for my tablet. I have plenty of phone chargers which fail to charge my tablet. Thanks for help

Anker. They cost a bit more, but are of good quality. Almost all of their range is 21AWG cable, which is one of the best out there.

Thanks. I've been on the lookout for a cheap micro usb cable bundle. Really don't want to spend much on them though as this is probably the last year before I switch over to usb c devices.
Be careful..it is pack of 2 which is now selling for £5.29. It looks like there are no packs of 5 any more
