Marked down from £229.99, just £64.79 buys a lifetime of misery for that wonderful man in your life. Make him suffer.
I looked it up, Palladium is similar to Platinum. Men like cool metals.

It does look nice, but beware. This is the same stuff that poisons Tony Stark aka IronMan in the second film! Yes I know he used it in the core of the arc reactor, but I don't know if I could trust it?

"The metal is similar to platinum in that it's hypo-allergenic and keeps well over time. Like the love shared between a married couple, it's strong and never tarnishes over the years"

The advert says guaranteed 6oz It's unlikely to really be 6oz. Maybe 6g
That's the pure palladium price, this ring is palladium 500, basically 50% of it is palladium, the other 50% probably silver.

The price for palladium peaked near US$1,100 per troy ounce in January 2001 (approximately US$1340 in 2009 dollars) driven mainly on speculation of the catalytic converter demand from the automobile industry. Palladium is traded in the spot market with the code "XPD". When settled in USD, the code is "XPDUSD". Recent years'[when?] palladium surplus condition was caused by the Russian government selling off government stockpiles built up during the Soviet Era, at a pace of about 1.6 to 2 million ounces a year. The amount and status of this stockpile is kept as a state secret. - from Wikipedia.

It looks like a bespoke tap washer.
Argos are currently selling 4 different titanium rings, ranging from 20 to 30 pounds. If this is your thing then save yourself a few bob and go this route.
"Not that many people seem to know about palladium. It has long been used in the jewellery industry, but has mainly been used to help create white gold by mixing yellow gold and palladium together rather than as a metal in its own right. However, it is part of the Platinum family and therefore has the same characteristics: white, hard, but not as dense.
Its biggest plus is its price. As platinum has soared, palladium has generally been up to half the price of platinum.
We use 950 Palladium (95% pure palladium) as this gives it its hardness. Palladium 500 has been introduced to the market (50% palladium and 50% silver) but we would not use it, silver is a much softer metal therefore your jewellery will wear more quickly and you can't use it with platinum or 18ct white gold as it is too soft, but with 950 you can mix it with platinum and 18ct white gold. If a ring you are looking at in a shop appears extremely low cost, make sure you ask if it is 950 or 500 palladium."
So seems cheaper, weaker version of palladium. :disappointed:
