Might not be the newest, most sophisticated, all singing all dancing But for under £80.00 it seems good enough for me.

Hi Guys,
Evently tracked down one of these but had buy in store (now £94) as there was no delivery option. Just wondering whether the box should come sealed/shrink wrapped. Mine wasn't and the guarrantee form is in Greek!

Tempted, but I want something that I can just slip into my pocket like the Canon SX230HS. Can anyone recommend something like this sub-£100?

There are stock of these in Argos around here, but I'm not saying where until I've been in and checked one out - both black and red available.
Incidentally, it does sound a real bargain reduced from almost 200 quid ...until you read it has previously been on sale at £99.99 Still 20 quid off isn't bad.

These should never be called bridge cameras.
Bridge cameras are or were the cameras with all the manual options that dslr offers and the only difference was that you can't change the lens.
These are mega zoom point and shoot with electronic zoom.
Dslr offers electronic focuing that you can over ride but zoom is always manual, just more control.
I hope this little information helps someone as I have made mistakes.
