Good price. Voted hot. But potential concern based on a review whcih appears to be a known issue with HDMI:
"also have the same problem with the no signal from the hdmi ports, doesnt do it all the time but is very frustrating. i find if you switch the tv off remove the hdmi, switch it back on then put the hdmi back in it does work. Hope they bring a fix out soon or its going back.....
Pros: picture, price
Cons: hdmi issue

Hi, Thank you for your comment.
We are aware of this issue and there's a new software version on its way that should solve this issue.
Unfortunately we don't have an official release date yet, but the software will most likely be sent to the TV via the network when it's ready."

Does anyone know who manufactures Philips' panels?

Could be LG, AUO or Innolux with my money being on an Innolux VA LCD matrix using a Philips/TPV Backlight (especially if the TV is thick)

I purchased the 49" version in January and it had a few issues such as forgetting all the tuned channels even after the update.
I returned /exchanged it and the replacement has been perfect. Perhaps you were unlucky like I was.
I use it regularly for gaming and kodi, very happy with it.

I bought the 43" when it was on offer on argos for £299.99. Haven't had any issues so far, the picture is great and the input lag is perfectly acceptable. Just a heads up, use the 'computer' activity style if connecting a pc otherwise the image is weirdly sharpened and distorted. The tv is manufactured by T.P vision .

Rather put another few hundred quid and get a better one.
Other than that issue, I'm happy with the TV, 4K looks great on it, and the HDMI CEC remote capabilities is handy for my NVIDIA Shield.

I had the 49 inch a returned it cracking picture on HD films via netflix etc... SD picture looked truly awful, hdmi kept saying no signal and really bad dirty screen effect on sports.

You went from a 4K TV to a 1080p one. Much less upscaling required, most 1080p sets do it quite well these days.
Most cheap 4K TV's are truly awful at upscaling SD content, and only a bit better with 1080i broadcasts. Which is why my mind boggles when people buy them currently.
I do know Philips have many other HDMI issues, such as struggling with many tablets output to HDMI. Obviously not a massive point (unless you want to do that!) but well reported.
