Seems like a lot of spec for the money, it's good for £295 but the 4K is redundant, it doesn't look as good as a decent mid-high end 1080p panel, the blacks are poor too. Worth it if you want 43" TV for under £300 though, just don't buy it thinking the 4K is going to do anything for you, it won't. Budget picture at a budget price. 4K is pointless on this TV as the resolution is useless on an average panel. This is a case of 4K for 4K's sake. I'd definitely ignore the fact this TV has 4K in making your decision to buy it.

Thanks for letting me know. I think I will still pick it up!

After the TV came back on from standby it sometimes would not detect the signal from HDMI. Even turning the TV off and on again would not work. You had to pull the HDMI cable out the back and plug it back in again while the TV was on.
The latest software seems to have fixed it for us though.

Picked this offer up after the other threads, and I'm plenty happy with it. Picture seems better than people seemed to make out, although I've not tried any 4K stuff yet.

Watching one of these right now, quality picture for the price. Needs a sound bar if you need it loud (not wanting to wake my children means this isn't an issue for me).

Had 2 of these from Xmas both went back with the same fault as above HDMI. Not saying they are bad but maybe I was just unlucky. Still heated

I bought this a month or so ago
PROS:
-pretty good picture, even when used as a monitor for my laptop via an extra long HDMI cable.
-plays mkv, mp4, mp3, etc.
CONS:
-ergonomically poor remote (which is fine if you're replacing it with Logitech)
-doesn't seem to play majority of DTS encoded audio (USB, or even laptop/VLC via HDMI)
-no Bluetooth...........it's VERY basic
Conclusion - the cons unfortunately outweigh the pros......but I have no regrets with the purchase, as picture quality is impressive for the price and it's the size screen I was after. Just wish it had more built-in features.

I picked one if these up today, and will hopefully get to hang it & spark it up over the weekend. With the hopeful 10% Quidco, I think it's a good deal for a 43" TV, even if the 4k and panel aren't cutting edge.

The 49 was about this price yesterday but I bottled it in the end and went for a pair of trainers instead lol.

We bought this TV a couple of weeks ago and had the HDMI problem. I updated via USB with the latest firmware from the website, and haven't seen the problem since.

Was going to reserve this, but reading the past thread on HUKD about it. They seemed to develop a fault which hasn't been fixed.
