Got to say thanks to the moderators that have already cleaned up a couple of the most shameful comments have read on this site yet.
People should have more compassion and try putting yourself in their place. The risks and the tragedy of many deaths in the journey to escape from places none of us would want to live in. Honestly what have we really done to ensure those parts of the world are stable and safe. We sell the arms, we prop up questionable governments, we fuel the demand for materials (blood diamonds, precious metals for our gadgets), we fail to act to promote a stable, peaceful region.
We are meant to be one of the richest most powerful countries in the world and yet we are scared to help. Shame on the people who make a joke out of the suffering and the deaths of so many. If me and my kids where from where many of these people come from I would try and get to Europe. The risk of awful things happening on that journey is all to real, my death and that of my family would weigh heavy in that decision.
Imagine that journey, imagine if you had to witness others drown, now if someone thinks that's a joking matter I think that person is far more loathsome than the refugees.
The people that hold such small minded world views need to seriously look at themselves and their values.

As mentioned in the title, £11.94 delivered. There is a £3.95 delivery charge, this is per order, so you could add other items to your order which is why I have included both prices in the title
