I was in Costco today (Leeds) and spotted this advent calendar amongst some of their seasonal stuff, it has 24 various beers for each day in the lead up to the big day. I was looking at one which was £65 yesterday and glad I decided against it!

I can't quite tell from the photos, after these normal 330ml bottles?
330 X 24 = 7,920 7,920 / 35.98 = 220ml per £ So circa £2.58 per pint?

Some of them are 275ml. You could buy 24 cans of Carling for a under £20 and recreate it if you wanted to miss the point completely.

My message must have come across wrong. I was implying it was good value for the variety and novelty. Plus I don't like Carling, I like real ales and bitters

Cheaper than some £70 boxes but beer selection looks weighted towards pales and amber beers. Prefer a few more darks thrown in

Good idea if you are as excited about Christmas as you were when you were five.

Lovely novelty gift BUT we have some excellent breweries in this country like Tempest & there's none in the box m,so for that reason I'm out on this occasion sorry op
